독에 영향을 받지 않습니다

Immune To Poison

“믿는 자들에게는 이런 표적이 따르리니 곧 그들이 내 이름으로 귀신을 쫓아내며 새 방언을 말하며 뱀을 집어올리며 무슨 독을 마실지라도 해를 받지 아니하며 병든 사람에게 손을 얹은즉 나으리라 하시더라”(막 16:17-18)

이제 거듭났으니 독에 중독될 수 없다는 사실을 알고 계십니까? 어떤 감염도 당신의 몸에서 번성할 수 없습니다. 당신 안에 있는 하나님의 생명은 당신의 몸에 있는 모든 독의 영향을 무효화하고 중화시킬 것입니다.

바울이 그것을 증명했습니다. 그는 멜리데 섬에서 독사에게 물렸습니다. 사람들은 그가 뱀의 독으로 인해 부어오르고 갑자기 쓰러져 죽게 될 것이라고 예상했습니다. 그러나 성경은 바울이 뱀을 불에 털어버렸고 그가 조금도 상하지 않았다고 말합니다(행 28:5).

그리스어로 “마신다”라는 단어는 “피노(pino)”입니다. 이는 마시다, 빨아들이다, 흡수하다 또는 동화되다 라는 뜻입니다. 즉, 치명적인 물질이 당신의 입으로 들어가는 것뿐 아니라 당신의 몸이 어떤 형태로든 치명적인 물질을 흡수하거나, 섭취하거나, 동화되거나, 받아들이더라도 그 물질은 당신에게 어떤 영향도 끼치지 않을 것입니다.

어떤 사람은 “저는 모기에 물려서 말라리아에 걸렸습니다”라고 말합니다. 그렇지 않습니다! 당신 안에 있는 생명은 기생충과 질병을 일으키는 병원균을 파괴합니다. 당신 안에 있는 생명은 독성을 이겨냅니다. 이러한 의식을 가지십시오. 날마다 당신이 그리스도 안에서 어떤 자인지 아는 가운데 살아가십시오. 당신은 “감염되지 않는” 종족이며 어떤 독이나 독성에도 영향을 받지 않습니다! 하나님께 영광 드립니다! 아멘.

IMMUNE TO POISON

“And these signs shall follow them that believe… if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” (Mark 16:17-18).

Are you aware that now that you’re born again, it’s not possible for you to be poisoned? No infection can thrive in your body. The life of God in you will nullify and neutralize the effects of any venom in your body.

Paul proved it. While on the island of Melita, he was bitten by a venomous viper. The people expected him to swell, fall down suddenly and die as a result of the venom from the snake, but the Bible says, Paul shook off the viper into the fire, and felt no harm (Acts 28:5).

It doesn’t matter how venom is injected or ingested into your body; it’ll have no effect on you. That’s what the Lord Jesus meant when He said, “…if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them…” (Mark 16:17-18).

The word “drink” in the Greek is “pinō,” which means to imbibe, suck in, absorb or assimilate. That means the deadly thing doesn’t have to have gone in through your mouth; if your body absorbs, ingests, assimilates or receives any deadly thing, in whatever form, such substances will have no effect on you.

Someone says, “I got malaria because I was exposed to mosquito bites.” No! The life in you destroys parasites and disease-causing pathogens; it’s poison-resistant. Have this consciousness; live every day with the understanding of who you are in Christ. You’re of the “uninfectable” breed; immune to any venom or poison! Glory to God! Amen.

CONFESSION

I am immune to every form of toxins, poison or venom. I walk in the reality of who I am in Christ; a new creation with the indestructible and “uninfectable” life of God in me. I walk in health, strength and victory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

주 예수님께서 오늘의 본문 구절을 인용하신 시편 82편의 첫 일곱 구절을 읽어보면, 다음과 같은 놀라운 말씀을 발견하게 됩니다. “하나님은 신들의 모임 가운데에 서시며 … 가난한 자와 고아를 위하여 판단하며 곤란한 자와 빈궁한 자에게 공의를 베풀지며 가난한 자와 궁핍한 자를 구원하여 악인들의 손에서 건질지니라 하시는도다 그들은 알지도 못하고 깨닫지도 못하여 흑암 중에 왕래하니 땅의 모든 터가 흔들리도다 내가 말하기를 너희는 신들이며 다 지존자의 아들들이라 하였으나…”

하나님께서 그분의 백성들을 “강한 자(the Mighty)”라고 부르신 것에 주목하십시오. 또한 “너희는 신들이며”라고 말씀하십니다. 그리고 더 나아가 우리의 책임에 대해 설명합니다. 우리는 “가난한 자와 고아를 위하여 판단하며 곤란한 자와 빈궁한 자에게 공의를…” 베풀어야 합니다. 가난한 사람들의 어려움을 외면하지 마십시오. 그들을 악한 사람들의 손에서 구출해야 할 사람은 바로 당신입니다. 당신은 왜 하나님께서 오바댜 1:21에서 우리를 구원자로 부르셨는지 이해할 수 있을 것입니다.

THE “MIGHTY” AND THE “GODS”

“Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?” (John 10:34).

When you read the first seven verses of Psalm 82 from where the Lord Jesus quoted the verse above, you’d observe something remarkable. It says, “God standeth in the congregation of the mighty…. Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked. They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High….”

Notice that God calls His people, “the mighty”; and also He says, “Ye are gods.” But then the passage goes further to outline our responsibilities: we’re to “Defend the poor and fatherless….” We’re to “…do justice to the afflicted and needy.” Don’t turn away from the plight of the needy; you’re the one to deliver them out of the hand of the wicked. You can understand why He calls us saviours in Obadiah 1:21.

The fourth verse of that Psalm is painful; it says, “They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness….” In other words, because these “mighty,” these “gods,” are ignorant of who they are, the earth is in a chaotic condition: “…All the foundations of the earth are out of course.”

It reminds me of a certain young man I met who said He didn’t believe in God. When I asked him why, he said because there were too many poor and suffering people around us. “If there’s a God,” he asked, “why would He allow so many to be wallowing in poverty, pain and misery? It’s not right.”

Then I said to him, “You’re correct; it’s not right. But it’s not God’s fault. Those whom He has sent to save and help the needy aren’t doing it and that includes you.” Thereafter, I preached the Gospel to him and he was gloriously saved.

You’re the one to rid the poor out of the hands of the wicked. You’re the saviour of the needy. Get to know who you are and take your place as the helper and the deliverer, the one who’s been endued with power from on high to impact and change your world. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I’m empowered by the Holy Spirit to make a positive impact in the lives of others and make a difference in the world around me. I walk in the wisdom and courage to defend the poor and needy, to do justice to the afflicted, and to rid them of the hand of the wicked, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

거듭났을 때 당신의 죄의 본성은 하나님의 의의 본성으로 대체되었습니다. 이제 당신은 의로울 뿐만 아니라 그리스도 예수 안에서 하나님의 의입니다. 이 빛 가운데 있는 당신 자신을 보십시오. 당신은 단순히 죄에서 해방된 것이 아닙니다. 당신은 생명, 죄 없는 본성을 가지고 있습니다.

THINGS HAVE CHANGED

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15).

The Lord Jesus sent us to preach the Gospel; the Gospel is good news. It’s not exactly good news when all you know or hear is “God is going to change things for you”; that’s hope. But the good news is that “things have changed.” So, stop hoping for things to change because they’ve already changed! Hallelujah!

This should further help you understand what the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” You’re not the weak seeking strength. The Lord Himself has become your strength (Psalm 27:1).

Perhaps you were sickly before you were born again; now, that has changed! Old things are passed away. You’re a new creature in Christ with an incorruptible life that’s sickness-proof.

The same change occurred in your finances. Your state and estate changed when you came into Christ. 2 Corinthians 8:9 says, “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.” You’ve been made rich. Glory to God!

Furthermore, you don’t have a problem with sin now that you’re in Christ. You’ve been justified to walk in newness of life: “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life” (Romans 6:4).

The sin-nature was supplanted by God’s nature of righteousness when you were born again. You’re now, not just righteous, but also the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. See yourself in this light. You weren’t merely set free from sin; you have a life, a nature that’s sin-free.

These are some of the realities for the one who’s born again. You didn’t do anything to achieve any of these; it’s simply the result of what Christ has done; and that’s good news. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I continually walk in the reality of my heritage and identity in Christ. I’m righteous, healthy, prosperous and victorious. I walk in the newness of life, enjoying the fullness of the blessings of Christ.

말씀을 적용하고 상황을 바로잡으십시오

Apply The Word And Put The Situation Right

“너희는 말씀을 행하는 자가 되고 듣기만 하여 자신을 속이는 자가 되지 말라”(약 1:22)

오늘날 신약에서는 더 이상 하나님께서 무엇을 하실 수 있는지가 아니라, 당신이 무엇을 할 수 있는지가 중요하다는 것을 아십니까? 하나님께서는 그리스도 안에서 변화를 일으키셨고 우리에게 무엇이든 변화시킬 수 있는 통치권, 권세, 능력을 주셨습니다. 따라서 당신이 원하는대로 자신의 삶을 영광스럽게 만드는 것은 이제 당신에게 달렸습니다. 핵심은 말씀을 따라 행하는 것, 즉 하나님의 말씀을 적용하는 것입니다.

많은 사람들이 하나님께서 그들의 상황에 개입하셔서 상황을 변화시켜 주시기를 “기다리기” 때문에 계속해서 고통스러운 상황 가운데 있습니다. 해가 뜰 때부터 질 때까지 하나님께서 길이 없는 곳에 길을 마련하실 것이라고 소리치고 노래하더라도, 당신의 상황은 바뀌지 않을 것입니다. 그분께서 이미 2천년 전에 길을 만드셨고, 당신이 거듭났을 때 “그 길”을 당신에게 주셨기 때문입니다.

당신은 “구원받았습니다.” 당신은 그 실제적인 그림을 가지고 있어야 합니다. 주님께서는 우리를 “구원자들”(옵 1:21)이라고 부르십니다. 그분께서 당신을 구원하시고 당신을 구원자로 만드셨습니다. 많은 하나님의 백성들이 이 진리를 잘 알아야 합니다. 그들은 하나님께서 무엇을 하실 수 있는지에 대해 알고 싶어하지만, 하나님께서 그들이 할 수 있다고 말씀하신 것들에 대해 더 잘 알아야 합니다.

오히려 주님께서는 우리 손에 열쇠를 맡겨주셨습니다. 그분께서는 우리에게 산에 대고 말하라고 말씀하셨습니다. 다시 말해, 문제를 해결 하라는 것입니다. 당신의 입을 사용하십시오. 믿음 충만한 말을 하십시오. 마가복음 11:23은 말합니다. “내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 누구든지 이 산더러 들리어 바다에 던져지라 하며 그 말하는 것이 이루어질 줄 믿고 마음에 의심하지 아니하면 그대로 되리라”

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 하나님의 말씀을 통해 어떤 상황이든지 바꿀 수 있도록 내게 주신 권세와 능력에 감사드립니다. 나는 하나님의 말씀을 행하는 자입니다. 그리고 나는 믿음 충만한 말로 내 상황을 바꾸며 그 상황이 내 삶을 향한 하나님의 완전한 뜻과 일치되게 합니다. 나는 모든 상황에 하나님의 말씀을 효과적으로 적용하고 항상 승리 가운데 삽니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

APPLY THE WORD AND PUT THE SITUATION RIGHT

“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves” (James 1:22).

Did you know that today, in the New Testament, it’s no longer a question of what God can do but what YOU can do? He made the change in Christ and gave us the dominion, the authority and the power to change anything. So it’s up to you today to make your life as glorious as you want it to be; the key is acting on the Word—applying the Word of God.

Many have remained in distressing conditions because they’re “waiting” for God to come into their situation and change things. Even if you shout or sing from sun up to sun down that God will make a way where there is no way, this won’t change your situation. That’s because He already made a way almost two thousand years ago, and made you “the way” when you were born again.

You’re “the saved.” You need to get the real picture. He calls us “saviours” (Obadiah 1:21); He saved you and made you a saviour. Many of God’s children need to become more acquainted with this truth. They’re inspired and excited to know what God can do, but they need to be more acquainted with what God says they can do.

The ball is in your court. You’re the one to do something about your situation. How? By learning the Word of God and applying it to the situation you’re facing. When you study the life of the Master, His words, His prayer life, and the instructions He gave, He never suggested for one moment that we should whine, beg and cry to God for anything.

Rather, He put the keys in our hands. He told us to speak to the mountain; in other words, solve the problem; use your mouth; speak faith-filled words. Mark 11:23, “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the authority and power you’ve given me to change any situation through your Word. I’m a doer of your Word, and with my faith-filled words I alter circumstances and cause them to align with your perfect will for my life. I apply your Word effectively in every circumstance, and I walk in victory always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Our Limitless Wealth

“측량할 수 없는”이라는 단어의 그리스어 원어는 영어로는 제대로 전달하기 어려운 깊이를 가지고 있습니다. 확대번역본은 이 단어에 대해 보다 포괄적인 설명을 제시합니다. “… 그리스도의 끝없는(무한하고, 헤아릴 수 없고, 잴 수 없고, 다함이 없는) 풍성함 [어떤 인간도 본 적이 없는 부]…”

이 설명은 그리스도의 부, “그리스도의 풍성함”의 놀라운 정도에 대한 생생한 그림을 제공합니다. 인간의 이해를 뛰어넘은 특별한 풍성함입니다.

OUR LIMITLESS WEALTH

“Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ” (Ephesians 3:8).

The term “unsearchable” in Greek encompasses a depth that is difficult to properly communicate in English. The Amplified Classic version offers a more comprehensive understanding. It says, “…the unending (boundless, fathomless, incalculable, and exhaustless) riches of Christ [wealth which no human being could have searched out].”

This description paints a vivid picture of the amazing magnitude of Christ’s wealth, “…the riches of Christ!” These are extraordinary riches, beyond the grasp of human exploration.

How can we even begin to search out Christ’s riches? Where would we start, and where would we end? It all depends on the one being described. And if Christ is indeed God, then we are dealing with riches that are truly beyond measure. Remember, we’re one with Him. Thus, our heritage is one of unimaginable wealth and abundance in Christ!

The Lord Jesus is designated as the heir and lawful owner of all things: “[But] in the last of these days He has spoken to us in [the person of a] Son, Whom He appointed Heir and lawful Owner of all things, also by and through Whom He created the worlds and the reaches of space and the ages of time [He made, produced, built, operated, and arranged them in order]” (Hebrews 1:2 AMPC). According to Matthew 13, He purchased the entire field, and thus, the entire world belongs to Him.

In Romans 8:16-17, the Bible says, “The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ.” This means everything that belongs to Jesus belongs to us. This is our inheritance, and it’s important that you lay hold of it. We walk in the footsteps of Abraham, for the Bible says, “…if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:29). The entirety of the earth belongs to us in Christ. It clarifies Paul’s bold assertion in 1 Corinthians 3:21 that “all things are yours.”

CONFESSION

I walk in the fullness of the unending, boundless, fathomless, incalculable, and exhaustless riches of Christ; I was born into it when I was born again. I have unlimited access to all the treasures and resources of the Kingdom, which is beyond the grasp of human exploration. I live in abundance and manifest the glory and righteousness of the Kingdom of God everywhere I go. Amen.

You Have Something To Do With It

바울의 모든 서신에서 매우 주목할 만한 점은 하나님의 은혜와 평강에 대한 바울의 의식입니다. 그가 교회에 쓴 각 서신의 도입부를 보면, 로마서 1:7의 “하나님 우리 아버지와 주 예수 그리스도로부터 은혜와 평강이 있기를 원하노라”와 같은 표현을 볼 수 있습니다.

당신이 얼마나 평안과 번영을 누릴지는 당신에게 달려 있습니다. “오 하나님, 내 삶에 당신의 은혜와 평안이 더해지게 하옵소서.”라고 기도한다고 해서 그런 일이 일어나지 않습니다. 하나님께서는 이미 당신에게 무엇을 해야 할지 보여주셨습니다. 하나님을 더욱 친밀하게 알아가십시오. 하나님의 말씀을 공부하고 묵상하십시오. 이 사실에 대해 숙고해 보십시오. 할렐루야!

YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT

“Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the…Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father…Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied” (1 Peter 1:1-2).

Something very remarkable in all of Paul’s epistles is his consciousness of the grace and peace of God. At the beginning of each of the epistles he wrote to the churches, you’d find expressions such as the one in Romans 1:7: “Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.”

You also find the same with Peter and even John; they understood the importance and power of grace and peace in the lives of God’s people. But then Peter takes a step further to show us something quite striking about this. At the beginning of his first epistle, as read in our theme scripture, he said, “Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.”

But at the beginning of his second epistle, he pinpoints how this grace and peace can be multiplied in your life: it’s through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. 2 Peter 1:2: “Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord.”

Multiplied grace in your life means increased capacity, speed, and accuracy to perform. It means more favours and greater excellence in your life with prosperity, dominion and power over adversity. Hallelujah!

But for these to happen, you have to have the knowledge of God; knowledge here is “epignosis” (Greek); which is correct and precise knowledge: a knowledge that relates with that which is known.

It’s up to you how much prosperity with peace you want to enjoy. It’s not going to happen by you praying, “Oh God, multiply your grace and peace in my life; no! He’s already shown you what to do: get to know God more intimately. Study and meditate on His Word. Be deliberate about this. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the abundance of grace and peace that you have made available to me through the knowledge of your Word. My knowledge of you deepens as I meditate on your Word, thus causing your grace and peace to be multiplied in my life, leading to increased capacity, dominion, and prosperity, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Preparing For Our Eternal City

“또 내가 새 하늘과 새 땅을 보니 처음 하늘과 처음 땅이 없어졌고 바다도 다시 있지 않더라 또 내가 보매 거룩한 성 새 예루살렘이 하나님께로부터 하늘에서 내려오니 그 준비한 것이 신부가 남편을 위하여 단장한 것 같더라”(계 21:1-2)

우리가 이 세상에 존재하는 가장 큰 이유는 다른 세상을 준비하기 위해서 라는 사실을 아십니까? 이 세상은 결코 하나님의 마지막 꿈이 아니었습니다. 이곳은 준비하는 곳입니다. 우리가 이 땅에서 하는 모든 일은 영원한 도성을 준비하는 것입니다. 우리는 하나님으로부터 말미암은 영원한 도성으로 옮겨져 새 땅에 심겨질 것입니다.

하나님의 뜻은 우리가 하늘로 옮겨져 그곳에서 영원히 사는 것이 아니었습니다. 하나님의 계획은 다른 도성과 다른 땅이었습니다. 성경은 현재의 이 땅이 불태워져 완전히 무너지고 새 땅으로 대체되며, 그 위에 새 땅을 조성하기 위한 새 하늘이 있을 것이라고 말합니다.

새 땅에는 당신과 제가 주님과 그분의 거룩한 천사들과 영원히 함께 할 거대한 도성이 있을 것입니다. 그 도성의 높이는 길이와 같습니다. 도성의 높이가 6시간 동안 비행을 해야 도달할 수 있는 거리라고 한다면, 그 도성의 길이 역시 그럴 것입니다. 얼마나 대단한 도성입니까! 그러나 모든 사람들이 그 도성에 있지는 않을 것입니다. 그 도성은 오직 하나님의 성도들을 위한 것입니다.

도성 밖에 있을 육신적인 남성들과 여성들이 있습니다. 인간의 국가들이 있을 것입니다. 성경은 그들이 왕을 경배하기 위해 정기적으로 성문으로 올 것이라고 말합니다. 그러나 성도인 우리들은 항상 새로운 예루살렘이라는 도성 안에서 그분과 함께 할 것입니다. 할렐루야. 그곳은 본부가 될 것이며, 우리는 그 본부에서 그분과 함께 살 것입니다.

그러므로 이 땅에서의 당신의 삶은 그 영원한 도성을 준비하는 것입니다. 주님을 위해 계속 일하십시오. 주님께서 당신에게 시키신 일들을 계속하고 부족하다고 여겨지지 않도록 하십시오. 그분께서 당신을 부르신 일들을 완수하십시오. 그분께 가장 중요한 것은 영혼들입니다. 예수님은 영혼들을 위해 오셨습니다. 따라서, 계속해서 영혼들을 구원하고 복음으로 당신의 세상에 영향을 끼치십시오. 때가 오면 그들도 우리의 위대하고 영원한 도성에서 주님과 함께 영원히 살 수 있도록 그들을 준비시키십시오.

PREPARING FOR OUR ETERNAL CITY

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband” (Revelation 21:1-2).

Did you know that the major reason we’re in this world is to prepare for another world? This world was never God’s final dream. This is the place of preparation. Everything we do here, in this earth, is all in preparation for the eternal city. We will be moved into this eternal city, which will come from God and be planted in the new earth.

God’s intention was never for us to relocate to heaven and live there forever. God’s plan is to have another city and another earth. The Bible tells us that this current earth will be burnt up—completely destroyed and replaced with a new one—with new heavens over it, to regulate its conditions.

There’ll be a city in that new earth where you and I will be with the Lord and his holy angels forever—a massive city. The height of the city is as the length of it; think about that. The height is like taking a six-hour flight; that’s the distance, both in length as well as in height. What a city! Everybody isn’t going to be there; it’s for only the saints of God.

There’ll be natural men and women who’ll populate the earth outside the city. There’ll be nations of men. The Bible says they will come regularly through the gates of the city to worship the King. But we, the saints, will always be with Him in the city; the New Jerusalem. Hallelujah. That’ll be the headquarters, and we’ll be functioning with Him at the headquarters.

So, your life here on earth is in preparation for that city, that eternal city. Keep working for the Lord. Keep doing what He’s asked you to do and don’t be found wanting. Do everything He’s called you to do, and finish it. The most important thing to Him is the human soul. That’s why Jesus came. So, keep winning souls and impacting the lives of those in your world with the Gospel. Prepare them to also live eternally with the Lord in our great and eternal city when the time comes.

PRAYER

Thank you blessed Father for the blessing, privilege and honour of serving you and living soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world, as we look forward to the glorious appearing of our great God and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Thank you for the grace to fulfil your destiny for my life and finish the work that you called me to do, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

An Excellent Mind

“끝으로 형제들아 무엇에든지 참되며 무엇에든지 경건하며 무엇에든지 옳으며 무엇에든지 정결하며 무엇에든지 사랑 받을 만하며 무엇에든지 칭찬 받을 만하며 무슨 덕이 있든지 무슨 기림이 있든지 이것들을 생각하라”(빌 4:8)

거듭난 당신은 탁월한 마음을 가지고 있습니다. 성경에서 우리가 그리스도의 마음을 가졌다고 말하기 때문입니다(고전 2:16). 탁월한 마음은 하나님의 말씀으로 거룩하게 되어 참되고, 정직하고, 의롭고, 순수하고, 좋은 평판과 덕과 칭찬할 만한 것들을 생각하는 마음입니다.

탁월한 마음은 누구에게도 원한을 품지 않고 진심으로 다른 사람을 사랑합니다. 탁월한 마음은 험담과 소문을 퍼뜨리는 쓰레기장이 아닙니다. 탁월한 마음에는 부정적인 정보가 스며들지 않습니다.

당신이 바른 생각을 하도록 스스로 결정해야 합니다. 탁월한 마음을 가지십시오. 올바른 말만 듣도록 결단하십시오. 그러면 올바른 생각을 할 수 있습니다. 탁월한 삶을 살고 싶다면 당신은 반드시 자신의 생각을 잘 걸러내야 합니다.

AN EXCELLENT MIND

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things” (Philippians 4:8).

As one who’s born again, you have an excellent mind because the Bible says we have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16). That’s a mind that’s sanctified by the Word of God to think on things that are true, honest, just, pure, of good report, virtuous and praiseworthy.

An excellent mind doesn’t begrudge anyone but genuinely loves people. It isn’t a garbage dump for gossip and tale-bearing. An excellent mind is impermeable to negative information.

One of the decisions you must make for yourself is to think the right thoughts. Have an excellent mind. Make up your mind to only give hearing to the right things, so you can think the right thoughts. You must filter your thoughts if you want to live an excellent life.

Furthermore, an excellent mind is creative and innovative; it completely shuns mediocrity. It does excellent things as a personal policy; no half-measures. Don’t say, “I’m just the cleaner where I work”; let your mind soar. Become more innovative, forward-thinking, and inventive in the way you clean. Do some more research on the best cleaning techniques available.

Then, most importantly, pray a lot in tongues about your work, and the Holy Spirit will flood your mind with the most creative measures and strategies to deploy in taking your work to the next level.

God wants to commit so much into the hands of excellent characters. Therefore, show yourself worthy through your appreciation and application of His Word and you’d be excellent in all things and ready for the much more that the Lord will entrust to you. Amen.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I yield my thoughts and mental processes to your Word and Spirit, choosing to focus on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and of good report. I maintain an excellent mind that is creative, innovative, and free from negativity. My thoughts and actions reflect the excellence of my divine nature, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Talk To Your Body And It Will Hear You

말씀은 세상에서 가장 중요한 것입니다. 또한 세상에서 가장 강력한 힘입니다. 하나님은 모든 것을 말씀으로 지으시고, 모든 것을 말씀 즉 그분의 능력의 말씀으로 보존하십니다(히 1:3). 그리고 우리가 오늘의 본문 구절을 통해 보듯이 말은 당신의 영원한 거주지를 결정합니다. 죽고 사는 것이 말에 달렸습니다(잠 18:21).

그렇다면 당신은 말로 어떤 일들을 했습니까? 말을 어떻게 사용했습니까? 당신이 연습해야 할 일 중 하나는 당신의 육신에게 말하는 것입니다. 당신의 육신이 건강하고 온전하게 유지하도록 당신의 말을 사용하십시오. 당신이 강건하고, 건강하고, 성령으로 말미암아 당신의 온 존재와 생체기관이 완전하다고 자주 선포하십시오.

TALK TO YOUR BODY AND IT WILL HEAR YOU

“For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned” (Matthew 12:37).

Words are the most important things in the world. They’re also the most potent forces on earth. God made everything with words and sustains everything with words—the word of His power (Hebrews 1:3). And as read in our theme scripture, words would determine where you live eternally. Death and life are based on words (Proverbs 18:21).

So, what have you done with words? How do you use words? One of the things you have to practise is talking to your body—using your words to keep your body in health and perfection. Every so often, declare that you’re strong; you’re in health; every fibre of your being and organ in your body is perfected by the Holy Spirit.

Talk to your body and it will hear you. The human body is like an “animal” that needs to be trained. Insist on what you want your body to do and it will start yielding to you. Every part of your body has intelligence; give your body instructions and insist that it obeys you, and in the process of time, it’ll get used to listening to you.

This is something you have to consciously practise if you haven’t been doing it. Talk to your brain, your head, your lungs, your liver, your kidneys, your heart, your blood, etc. If any part or organ in your body has been hurting or seems to have an issue, tell it to be healed and it will comply.

Remember what the Bible says in James 3; you can control and tame your whole body with your words: “For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. Behold, we put bits in the horses’ mouths, that they may obey us…Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things (James 3:2-5).

Keep your body in health by speaking life to it. The Bible says the wholesome tongue is a tree of life. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you and has given life to your physical body. He’s brought you into life and immortality. Make these and similar affirmations every so often. You say, “The Holy Spirit is the life of my body; therefore, I live free of sickness, disease, infirmities and the elements of this world.” Blessed be God!

CONFESSION

My physical body is alive and inundated with the pulsating life of God. As a result, I walk in divine health and vitality. I live free of sickness, disease, infirmities and the elements of this world. Hallelujah!

The Word Is Your Compass

“주의 말씀은 내 발에 등이요 내 길에 빛이니이다”(시 119:105)

하나님의 말씀은 빛이며, 빛은 방향을 제시합니다. 당신의 삶을 향한 하나님의 목적과 방향성을 알고 싶다면 말씀을 보십시오. 하나님의 말씀을 공부하십시오. 말씀은 당신의 나침반입니다. 말씀을 따라가면 결코 길을 잃지 않을 것입니다. 당신은 결코 실패하지 않을 것입니다. 하나님의 말씀은 진리이며 신뢰할 수 있습니다. 하나님의 말씀에 당신의 인생 전체를 걸 수 있습니다.

하나님의 말씀을 공부함으로써 얻는 것 중 하나는 영적인 계시와 초점입니다. 당신의 영적인 눈은 당신이 봐야할 것에 열리고, 하나님께서 당신을 향해 창조하신 미래에 초점을 맞추도록 인도받습니다.

당신은 하나님의 말씀으로 초점을 맞추고, 당신이 어디로 가야하고 어떻게 도달하는지 정확히 알게 됩니다. 삶은 더 이상 추측하는 영역이 아니며 어둠 속에서 뛰어다니는 것도 아닙니다. 이는 예수님의 말씀을 생각나게 합니다. “… 나는 세상의 빛이니 나를 따르는 자는 어둠에 다니지 아니하고 생명의 빛을 얻으리라”(요 8:12) 그분은 육신이 되신 말씀이심을 기억하십시오. 예수님을 따르는 방법은 그분의 말씀을 따르는 것입니다. 할렐루야!

하나님의 말씀을 믿고 그 안에 머무르는 것을 두려워하지 마십시오. 성경은 말합니다. “주의 말씀은 내 발에 등이요 내 길에 빛이니이다”(시 119:105) 말씀은 결코 당신을 잘못된 길로 인도하지 않을 것입니다. 잠언 3:5-6은 말합니다. “너는 마음을 다하여 여호와를 신뢰하고 네 명철을 의지하지 말라 너는 범사에 그를 인정하라 그리하면 네 길을 지도하시리라” 확대번역본은 여호수아 1:8을 다음과 같이 번역합니다. “이 율법책을 네 입에서 떠나지 말게 하며 밤낮으로 그것을 묵상하여라. 그것을 살펴보고 그 안에 기록된 모든 내용을 행하라. 그러면 너는 네 길을 번영케 만들 것이며, 상황을 지혜롭게 다스리고, 좋은 성공을 가지게 될 것이다.”

당신의 시선을 하나님의 말씀에 고정시키고 당신의 영적 비전을 하나님의 말씀이 계시하는 바에 맞추십시오. 이렇게 하면 당신의 미래를 향한 하나님의 목적을 성취하게 될 것입니다. 당신은 흔들리지 않는 초점을 가지고 자신의 목적지에 대한 명확한 그림과 그것을 성취하기 위한 방법을 알게 될 것입니다. 하나님을 찬양합니다!

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 내 발걸음을 인도하는 등불이자 내 길을 밝히는 빛인 하나님의 말씀을 선물로 주시니 감사합니다. 나는 하나님의 인도를 전적으로 신뢰하고 하나님의 말씀을 부지런히 따릅니다. 나는 하나님의 진리에 내 눈을 고정하며 그 진리가 성공과 끝없는 번영에 이르는 확실한 길임을 압니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

THE WORD IS YOUR COMPASS

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105).

God’s Word is light, and light gives direction. When you want to know God’s purpose and His direction for your life, go to the Word; study God’s Word. The Word is your compass; if you follow it, you’ll never lose your way; you’ll never fail. God’s Word is truth; it’s dependable; you can bet your whole life on it.

One of the things you gain from studying the Word of God is spiritual enlightenment and focus. Your spiritual eyes are open to what you should see, and then you’re guided to be focused on the future that God has created for you.

With the Word of God, you’re focused and know exactly where you’re going and how to get there. Life ceases to be a speculation, a leap in the dark. It reminds of the words of Jesus: “…I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life” (John 8:12). Remember, He’s the Word made flesh; the way to follow Him is to follow His Word. Hallelujah!

Don’t be afraid to believe and stay on God’s Word. The Bible says, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105). The Word will never lead you astray. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart….” Joshua 1:8 AMPC says, “This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.”

Fix your gaze on the Word of God and align your spiritual vision with what it reveals. Doing this will lead you to the fulfilment of God’s purpose for your future. With unwavering focus, you’ll gain clarity on your destination and the path to reach it. Praise God!

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the gift of your Word, which serves as a lamp to guide my steps and a light to illuminate my path. I wholly trust in your guidance and follow your Word diligently. I keep my eyes fixed on your truth, knowing that’s the sure path to success and unending prosperity, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
