늘어난 지혜
Wisdom With Increased Capacity
“또 어려서부터 성경을 알았나니 성경은 능히 너로 하여금 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 믿음으로 말미암아 구원에 이르는 지혜가 있게 하느니라”(딤후 3:15)
하나님의 지혜는 하나님의 말씀에 압축되어 있습니다. 하나님의 지혜는 모든 것을 아우르며 삶의 모든 분야에서 당신을 인도합니다. 잠언 4:7은 지혜의 중요성을 강조하며 당신의 삶에서 가장 먼저 추구할 것을 권면합니다. “지혜가 제일이니 지혜를 얻으라 네가 얻은 모든 것을 가지고 명철을 얻을지니라”
오늘의 본문 구절을 보면 성경은 우리를 구원에 이르도록 지혜롭게 하는 독특한 능력을 가지고 있습니다. 이것은 당신이 반드시 말씀을 묵상해야 하는 이유 중 하나입니다. 여호수아 1:8은 말합니다. “이 율법책을 네 입술에서 떠나지 않게 하며, 밤낮으로 그것을 묵상하고, 그것을 관찰하여 기록된 대로 행하라. 그러면 네가 너의 길을 번영하게 만들 것이며, 지혜롭게 행하고, 좋은 성공을 하게 될 것이다.”(확대번역본)
말씀 묵상이 당신을 번영하게 하고 지혜롭게 행하게 한다고 말한 부분에 주목하십시오. 이는 말씀이 당신을 분별력 있고 건전하게 만든다는 뜻입니다. 골로새서 3:16은 말합니다. “그리스도의 말씀이 너희 속에 풍성히 거하여 모든 지혜로 피차 가르치며 권면하고 시와 찬송과 신령한 노래를 부르며 감사하는 마음으로 하나님을 찬양하고”
당신이 말씀에 푹 잠겨 그 진리를 소화하고 자신의 영에 스며들게 할 때, 말씀은 당신을 훨씬 더 지혜롭게 하고 당신의 역량과 능력을 증가시킬 것입니다. 베드로후서 1:2 말씀을 떠올려 보십시오. “하나님과 우리 주 예수를 앎으로 은혜와 평강이 너희에게 더욱 많을지어다”
배가되거나 증가된 은혜는 하나님께서 당신에게 더 많은 책임을 맡기실 수 있다는 것을 의미합니다. 당신이 더 지혜로워졌기 때문입니다. 하나님께서는 당신 안에 역사하는 그분의 지혜의 결과를 아십니다. 당신은 건전한 판단과 선택을 내리게 될 것입니다.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 하나님의 말씀에 담긴 지혜에 감사드립니다. 내가 성경에 집중할 때, 나는 신성한 지혜가 나에게 지속해서 부어지는 것에 스스로를 내어드립니다. 말씀은 내 선택과 행동을 인도합니다. 나는 특별한 통찰력을 가지고 있습니다. 나는 개념, 주제, 상황, 신비에 대해 명확하고 깊은 이해를 가지고 있습니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

WISDOM WITH INCREASED CAPACITY
“And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 3:15).
The wisdom of God is encapsulated in His Word; it is all-encompassing and will guide you through every aspect of life. Proverbs 4:7 emphasizes the importance of wisdom, making it the primary pursuit in your life. It says, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.”
The Scriptures, as read in our theme verse, have the unique ability to make us wise unto salvation. It’s one reason you must meditate on the Word. Joshua 1:8 AMPC says, “This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.”
Notice that it says meditating on the Word will make you prosperous, and cause you to deal wisely; that means it’ll make you discerning and sound. Colossians 3:16, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
As you immerse yourself in the Word, digesting its truths and allowing it to permeate your spirit, the Word will make you several steps wiser and broaden your capacity and capability. It reminds of what the Bible says in 2 Peter 1:2, “Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord.”
Multiplied or increased grace means God can entrust you with even greater responsibilities because you’re wiser. He knows that as a result of His wisdom at work in you, you’ll make sound judgments and choices.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the wisdom found in your Word. As I give attention to the Scriptures, I open myself to a continuous impartation of divine wisdom. The Word guides my choices and actions. I have uncommon insight; a clear, deep, and sudden understanding of concepts, subjects, situations and mysteries, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
