예수님 사역의 영원성
The Eternal Nature Of His Ministry
“내가 네 갈 길을 가르쳐 보이고 너를 주목하여 훈계하리로다”(시 32:8)
만일 모세, 다윗, 이사야, 욥, 솔로몬, 미가, 또는 구약 시대의 선지자 중 누군가가 오늘 나타난다면 우리에게 어떤 말을 해줄 것 같습니까? 만일 오늘 사도 베드로, 바울, 야고보, 요한이 당신에게 나타나서 사역한다면, 그들은 어떤 말을 할 것 같습니까?
나는 그들이 당신에게 무슨 말을 할 지 압니다. 그들은 자신들이 쓴 글에 있는 내용을 정확히 말해 줄 것입니다. 그들의 사역은 자신이 쓴 글들에 담겨 있으므로 그 이상 말하지 않을 것입니다. 그들은 더할 수 없습니다. 그러나 주 예수님의 경우는 다릅니다.
예수님의 죽음은 그분의 사역을 끝내거나 봉인하지 않았습니다. 그분은 살아나셔서 지금까지 그분의 사역을 지속하십니다. 따라서 만일 주 예수님께서 오늘 당신에게 나타나신다면, 그분은 새로운 말씀을 하실 수도 있습니다. 그러나 그분께서 이미 하신 말씀과 일관될 것입니다. 요한복음 16:12-14은 말합니다. “내가 아직도 너희에게 이를 것이 많으나 지금은 너희가 감당하지 못하리라 그러나 진리의 성령이 오시면 너희를 모든 진리 가운데로 인도하시리니 그가 스스로 말하지 않고 오직 들은 것을 말하며 장래 일을 너희에게 알리시리라 그가 내 영광을 나타내리니 내 것을 가지고 너희에게 알리시겠음이라”
주 예수님과 옛 선지자 및 사도들의 차이점은 예수님 사역의 영원성입니다. 예수님은 우리 가운데 그분의 사역을 지속하기 위해 성령님을 보내셨습니다. 주님의 말씀은 시간과 상황을 초월하는 영원한 관련성을 가지고 있습니다. 주님은 성령님에 대해 “내 것을 가지고 너희에게 알리시겠음이라”고 말씀하셨습니다.
성령님은 예수님 사역의 본질을 우리에게 전하시고, 우리를 가르치고, 우리에게 말씀하시고, 우리를 모든 진리 가운데로 인도하십니다. 이 신성한 관계는 주 예수님의 특별한 사역이 우리 안에서, 우리를 통해, 우리 가운데, 심지어 이 시대에 지속되게 합니다. 할렐루야!
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 주님의 사역의 영원성에 감사드립니다. 나는 세상의 소란 속에서도 주님의 음성을 분별하며, 주님의 진리에 대한 더 깊은 계시로 인도하시는 성령님께 나 자신을 내어드립니다. 나는 주님의 사랑과 은혜의 통로입니다. 주님께서 나를 통해 지속해서 사람들을 변화시키시고 영향을 끼치십니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

THE ETERNAL NATURE OF HIS MINISTRY
“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye” (Psalm 32:8).
If Moses, David, Isaiah, Job, King Solomon, Micah, or any of the prophets of old were to show up on the scene today, what will they say to us? If the apostles Peter, Paul, James, or John were to appear to you today, to minister to you, what would they say?
I can tell you what they would say to you. They would say to you exactly what’s in their writings. They wouldn’t say anything more because their ministries were sealed with those writings. They can’t add to it. But with the Lord Jesus, it’s different.
The difference with Jesus is that His death didn’t end or seal His ministry. He arose and continued His ministry till this day. So, if the Lord Jesus were to appear to you today, He could say new things, but they’ll be consistent with what He already said. John 16:12-14 says, “I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.”
The difference between the Lord Jesus and the prophets and apostles of old is the eternal nature of His ministry. He sent the Holy Spirit to continue His ministry among us. His words possess an eternal relevance that transcends time and circumstances. He said of the Holy Spirit, “He shall take of mine and show it to you.”
The Holy Spirit imparts the essence of Jesus’ ministry to us, teaching us, speaking to us, and guiding us into all truth. This divine partnership ensures that the extraordinary ministry of the Lord Jesus endures in us, through us, and among us, even in this present age. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the eternal nature of your ministry. I discern your voice amidst the clamour of the world, and I yield myself to the Holy Spirit, who guides me into deeper revelation of your truth. I’m indeed a conduit of your love and grace as you continue to transform and impact lives through me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
