성령으로 빛나십시오
Lambent By The Holy Ghost
“너희가 전에는 어둠이더니 이제는 주 안에서 빛이라 빛의 자녀들처럼 행하라”(엡 5:8)
에베소서 1:18에 주목할 만한 내용이 있습니다. “너희 마음의 눈을 밝히사 그의 부르심의 소망이 무엇이며 성도 안에서 그 기업의 영광의 풍성함이 무엇이며” 여기 등장하는 “밝히다”라는 단어는 “포티조”(그리스어)입니다. 빛을 비추다, 어떤 것에 빛을 밝히다, 불을 켠다는 뜻입니다. 바로 이것이 당신의 삶에서 성령님이 하시는 사역입니다.
성령님의 사역을 통해 우리는 빛나게 됩니다. 그리고 이것은 단지 한 부분에 불과합니다. 동일한 성령님으로 말미암은 말씀의 사역을 통해 우리 안에서 일어나는 일이 또 다른 부분입니다. 성령님은 그분의 사역을 통해 말씀으로 우리가 깨닫게 하시고 빛나게 하십니다. 우리가 말씀을 묵상할 때 이런 일이 일어납니다.
빛나게 되는 것과 빛이 되는 것은 다릅니다. 당신은 말씀을 통해 빛으로 태어났기 때문에 당신은 빛이 되었습니다. 당신의 빛은 말씀 없이는 희미합니다. 하나님의 말씀은 빛입니다(시 119:105). 성경이 그리스도의 말씀이 당신 안에 풍성히 거하게 하라고 말한 것은 놀라운 일이 아닙니다(골 3:16).
당신의 영이 말씀으로 가득 채워질수록, 더 많은 당신의 빛이 비치고, 당신은 더 빛을 발하게 됩니다. 주 예수님은 마태복음 5:16에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “이같이 너희 빛이 사람 앞에 비치게 하여 그들로 너희 착한 행실을 보고 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지께 영광을 돌리게 하라”
당신 안에 말씀이 있으면 불이 타오르게 되고 당신은 빛나게 됩니다. 당신은 모든 곳을 밝힙니다. 당신은 가족 뿐 아니라 당신의 도시, 나라, 열방의 빛입니다. 지금도 두 손을 들고 이렇게 선포하십시오. “나는 열방의 빛입니다. 나는 내 안에 계신 성령님으로 말미암아 빛납니다. 나는 주 안의 빛입니다. 그리고 나는 빛의 자녀로 행합니다. 나는 밝게 빛나고 있습니다.” 하나님을 송축합니다!
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 나를 빛나게 만드는 말씀으로 나를 비추시는 성령의 은사에 감사드립니다. 나는 열방의 빛입니다. 내 심령을 빛으로 가득하게 하셔서 그리스도 안에 있는 목적을 알고 성취하게 하시니 감사합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

LAMBENT BY THE HOLY GHOST
“For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light”(Ephesians 5:8).
There’s a remarkable thought in Ephesians 1:18; it says, “The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.” The word enlightened is “photizo” (Greek). It means to shine the light on, to turn light on something or light up. This is the ministry of the Holy Spirit in your life.
Through the ministry of the Spirit, we’re illuminated, and that’s just one part. The second part is what happens in us through the ministry of the Word by the same Spirit. The Holy Spirit, through His ministry, enlightens us with the Word to become luminous—lambent. This happens in meditation.
It’s one thing to be illuminated, but it’s another thing to become lambent. You become a light, because you were born to be a light through the Word. Without the Word, your light is dim. The Word of God is light (Psalm 119:105). No wonder the Bible says to let the words of Christ dwell in you richly (Colossians 3:16).
The more you inundate your spirit with the Word, the more your light shines, the more lambent you become. The Lord Jesus said in Matthew 5:16, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
With the Word inside you, the fire burns, you become incandescent; you light up everywhere. You’re not only a light to your family, you’re a light to your city, your nation and the nations of the world. Even now, lift your hands and declare, “I’m a light to the nations. I’m lambent by the Holy Ghost that dwells in me. I’m a light in the Lord, and I walk as a child of light. I’m shining brightly.” Blessed be God!
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit, who enlightens me with the Word to become luminous—lambent. I’m a light to the nations. Thank you for flooding my heart with light so that I may know and fulfil my purpose and destiny in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
