섬김을 위해 부름 받았습니다
Called Out To Service
“만일 내가 지체하면 너로 하여금 하나님의 집에서 어떻게 행하여야 할지를 알게 하려 함이니 이 집은 살아 계신 하나님의 교회요 진리의 기둥과 터니라”(딤전 3:15)
신약 성경에서 교회는 실제로 “에클레시아”(부름)로부터 “부름 받은 자들”을 의미합니다. 우리가 하나님의 부름 받은 자들이라고 말할 때 그것은 세상에서 하나님께로 부름 받은 것을 의미하지 않습니다. 실제로 우리는 집에서 나와 섬기도록 부름 받았다는 뜻입니다.
히브리서 13:13에서 이러한 내용을 볼 수 있습니다. “그런즉 우리도 그의 치욕을 짊어지고 영문 밖으로 그에게 나아가자” 여기 나오는 “영문 밖으로”에 주목하십시오. 이는 진영 밖이라는 뜻입니다. 우리는 진영 밖에서 그분을 섬기도록 부르심을 받은 사람들입니다
이는 성경이 예수 그리스도께서 성문 밖에서 십자가에 못 박히셨다고 말한 내용을 반영합니다. 그러므로 우리도 그분의 치욕을 짊어지고 영문 밖으로 그에게 나아가자고 말씀하십니다. 이어지는 14절에서는 이에 대해 좀 더 명확하게 설명합니다. “우리가 여기에는 영구한 도성이 없으므로 장차 올 것을 찾나니” 다른 말로, 그분의 일을 하자는 것입니다.
우리가 교회로서 모일 때 목적이 있습니다. 우리는 주님께서 우리에게 명령하신 것을 행하기 위해 그분을 찬양하러 모입니다. 주님은 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “또 이르시되 너희는 온 천하에 다니며 만민에게 복음을 전파하라”(막 16:15) 진짜 사역은 진영 밖에 있습니다. 우리는 주님의 구원하는 능력의 소식을 땅끝까지 전하도록 보냄 받았습니다.
기도
나는 목적과 섬김의 사명을 위해 부름 받았습니다. 따라서 나는 하나님이 나를 부르신 섬김의 일에 근면하고 신실하여 복음이 전해지지 않은 사람들에게 가서 복음의 메시지로 세상을 가득 채우는 일에 헌신합니다. 나는 그 일을 목적과 열정으로 성취합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

CALLED OUT TO SERVICE
“But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth” (1 Timothy 3:15).
The word Church in the New Testament really means “the called out ones”; from the “Ecclesia” (a calling out). And when we say we’re God’s called-out ones, it doesn’t refer to being called out of the world unto God. What actually happens is that we’re called out from home to service.
We find this captured in Hebrews 13:13, which says, “Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.” Mark the expression, “without the camp”; it means outside the camp. We’re the called out ones to serve Him outside the camp.
It mirrors what the Bible says, that Jesus Christ was crucified outside the gates, outside the city gates. So He says let us also go forth therefore unto Him outside the camp, bearing His reproach. It’s about our work of service, our evangelical work to the whole world. The ensuing verse 14 clarifies it some more; it says, “…For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come. In other words, get to work, do His work.
When we gather as the Church, it’s for a purpose; we come to praise Him for the purpose of going to do what He told us to do. He said: “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). The real work is outside the camp. We’ve been sent to spread the news of His saving power to the ends of the earth.
PRAYER
I’m called out to a purpose, to a mission of service. Therefore, I commit myself to be diligent and faithful in the work of service you have called me to, to reach the unreached and saturate the world with the message of the Gospel. I fulfil it with purpose and passion, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
