모두에게 주시는 하나님의 놀라운 선물
God’s Awesome Gift To All
“하나님이 말씀하시기를 말세에 내가 내 영을 모든 육체에 부어 주리니 너희의 자녀들은 예언할 것이요 너희의 젊은이들은 환상을 보고 너희의 늙은이들은 꿈을 꾸리라”(행 2:17)
성령님이 그리스도인만이 아닌 온 세상을 향한 하나님의 영광스럽고 은혜롭고 놀라운 선물이자 축복임을 알고 계셨습니까? 성령님의 축복은 모든 육체에 부어지게 되어 있습니다. 세상 어느 누구도 성령님의 확신 없이는 예수 그리스도를 영접할 수 없습니다. 사도행전 16:14에서 루디아에게 하신 것 같이 우리가 복음을 전파할 때 사람들의 마음을 여시는 분은 성령님이십니다. “두아디라 시에 있는 자색 옷감 장사로서 하나님을 섬기는 루디아라 하는 한 여자가 말을 듣고 있을 때 주께서 그 마음을 열어 바울의 말을 따르게 하신지라.”
고린도전서 2:12은 말합니다. “우리가 세상의 영을 받지 아니하고 오직 하나님으로부터 온 영을 받았으니 이는 우리로 하여금 하나님께서 우리에게 은혜로 주신 것들을 알게 하려 하심이라.” 성령님을 통해 우리는 하나님께서 값없이 주신 축복을 알고 누립니다. 성령님은 우리가 신성한 유산과 하늘의 축복의 실재 안에서 행하도록 보살피십니다.
또한 하나님의 말씀을 이해하기 위해서는 성령님이 필요합니다. “그러나 진리의 성령이 오시면 그가 너희를 모든 진리 가운데로 인도하시리니…”(요 16:13) 성령님은 당신에게 왕국의 신비와 비밀을 드러내시고, 당신이 속지 않도록 보호하십니다. 당신은 진리 안에 살고 있습니다.
예수 그리스도가 하나님의 아들이라는 것을 깨닫기 위해서는 성령님이 필요합니다. 인간의 추론으로는 예수님의 신성을 알아낼 길이 없습니다. 예수 그리스도께서 처녀로부터 태어나셨다는 사실과 그분의 대속적 죽음, 승리의 부활, 그리고 영광스러운 승천을 이해하고 받아들이는 일에는 성령님의 도움이 필요합니다.
오직 성령님만 예수 그리스도의 보혈이 우리의 구원을 위해 합당했다는 것에 대한 확신을 주실 수 있습니다. 성령님 없이는 우리가 이 진리의 실재를 깨닫고 그 안에서 걸을 수 있는 방법이 없습니다. 이러한 실재를 해석할 수 있는 인간의 방법은 없습니다. 따라서 당신이 그리스도와 복음에 관한 진리를 받아들일 때는 성령님이 당신에게 사역하셨다는 것을 이해하십시오. 할렐루야!
성령님을 당신 안에 모시고 산다는 실재의 영향, 축복, 영광을 더욱 의식하십시오. 성령님은 하나님께서 우리에게 주신 특별한 선물이자 축복입니다. 당신의 삶에서 그분의 사역을 인식하고 증가시키십시오. 그러면 당신은 언제나 통치와 승리 가운데 걸을 것입니다.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 내 삶에 놀라운 성령의 은사를 주셔서 감사합니다. 나는 그리스도 안에서의 나의 운명을 성취하기 위해 즐겁게 성령님의 인도를 따릅니다. 그 어느 때보다도 나는 성령님의 사역과 끊임없는 교제를 인식합니다. 성령님은 나를 하나님 왕국의 실재에 대한 더 깊은 이해와 경험으로 이끄십니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

GOD’S AWESOME GIFT TO ALL
“And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams”(Acts 2:17).
Did you know that the Holy Spirit is God’s glorious, gracious, awesome gift and blessing not just to us Christians but to the whole world? The blessing of the Spirit was to be poured upon all flesh. No one in the world could believe in Jesus Christ without the conviction of the Holy Spirit. It’s the Holy Spirit who opens the hearts of men to the Gospel that we preach, as He did with Lydia in Acts 16:14: “And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.”
1 Corinthians 2:12 says, “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.” Through Him, we know the blessings that are freely given to us by God and enjoy them. He sees to it that we walk in the reality of our divine heritage and heavenly blessings.
It also takes the Holy Spirit to give you the understanding of God’s Word: “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth…” (John 16:13). He unveils the mysteries and secrets of the Kingdom to you and sees to it that you’re not deceived; you’re walking in truth.
It takes the Holy Spirit for you to know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. There’s no way human reasoning can figure out the divinity of Jesus. It takes the Holy Spirit to help you understand and accept the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, His sacrificial death, His triumphant resurrection, and His glorious ascension.
Only the Holy Spirit can convince you that the blood of Jesus Christ was adequate for our salvation. Without the Holy Spirit, there’s no way we could have ever known and be able to walk in the reality of that truth. There’re no human parameters for deciphering such realities. So when you accept these truths about Christ and the Gospel, understand that the Holy Spirit has ministered to you. Hallelujah!
Become more conscious of the impact, blessing and glory of having the Holy Spirit live in you. He’s one of the extraordinary cardinal gifts and blessings of God to us. Recognize and encourage His ministry in your life and you’ll walk in dominion and victory always.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the awesome gift of the Holy Spirit in my life, and I willingly follow His guidance to fulfil my destiny in Christ. Now more than ever, I acknowledge His ministry and constant companionship and fellowship as He leads me in a deeper understanding and experience of the realities of the Kingdom of God, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
