당신의 삶은 신성한 목적을 가지고 있습니다
There’s A Divine Purpose For Your Life
“아킵보에게 이르기를 주 안에서 받은 직분을 삼가 이루라고 하라”(골 4:17)
몇 년 전 주님께서는 저에게 사람이 해야 할 가장 중요한 일은 자신의 목적을 발견하고 성취하는 것이라고 말씀하셨습니다. 하지만 대부분의 사람들은 결코 그렇게 살지 않습니다. 그렇기 때문에 그들은 공허한 인생을 살며, 자신을 향한 신성한 계획이 있다는 사실을 전혀 알지 못한 채 살아갑니다.
에베소서 2:10은 말합니다. “우리는 하나님께서 [직접] 손수 만드신 작품(그분의 솜씨)이며, [하나님께서 미리 준비해 놓으신 길을 따라] 그분께서 우리를 위해 예정하신 (사전에 계획하신) 선한 일을 하고, 그 안에서 [그분께서 미리 계획하시고 준비하신 좋은 삶을 살며] 행하도록 그리스도 예수 안에서 재창조된 [거듭난] 자입니다.”(확대번역본)
삶의 목적을 발견하는 것이 당신에게 얼마나 중요한 일인지요! 당신을 위해 예정된 길에서 자신을 발견하는 것이 당신 마음에 얼마나 큰 기쁨과 평안을 채울지 상상해보십시오! 하나님은 이유 없이 행동하지 않으십니다. 그분은 모든 일에 목적을 가지고 계십니다. 그분은 이 땅을 향한 목적을 가지고 계시며, 당연히 당신의 삶을 향한 목적도 가지고 계십니다. 따라서 당신을 향한 하나님의 목적을 찾는 것은 중요합니다.
하나님께서 모든 자녀를 향해 가지고 계신 목적은 우리가 그분의 영광을 위해 살아가는 것입니다. 우리는 하나님과 동행하고 그분께 영광을 돌리기 위해 태어났습니다. 오늘부터 이 기본적인 목적을 당신의 마음에 굳건히 세우십시오. 그리고 이렇게 선포하십시오. “주님, 감사합니다. 나는 당신의 영광을 위해 태어났습니다.”
하지만 그 외에도 당신이 이 땅에 창조되고 위치한 독특한 목적이 있습니다. 그 목적을 성취하는 것이 하나님께 진정한 영광과 경배를 드리는 것입니다.
만약 당신이 그 구체적인 목적을 아직 발견하지 못했다면, 오늘부터 시작할 수 있습니다. 담대하게 주님께 여쭈어 보십시오. 그러면 그분께서 말씀해주실 것입니다. 때때로 그분은 사도 바울에게 하신 것처럼 아주 분명하게 말씀하실 것입니다(사도행전 26:13-16을 읽어보십시오). 어떤 때는 그분이 당신을 그 길로 인도하실 것이며, 당신은 날마다 모든 일에서 그분의 말씀을 따라 믿음으로 걸으며 자신의 인생을 향한 그분의 목적을 점점 더 발견할 것입니다.
기도
아버지, 내가 창조되고 이 땅에 온 특별한 목적을 알려주셔서 감사합니다. 나는 이 땅에 있는 영혼들의 구원을 위해 아버지의 왕국에서 보내심을 받은 예수 그리스도의 복음의 증인입니다. 나의 열정은 곧 이 땅과 사람들의 마음에 하나님의 나라를 세우고 당신에게 영광과 경배를 드리는 것입니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

THERE’S A DIVINE PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE
“And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it”(Colossians 4:17).
Several years ago, the Lord told me that the most important thing for men to do is to discover their purpose and fulfil it, but most never do. Therefore, they live empty lives, never realizing that there was a divine plan for them.
Ephesians 2:10: AMPC says, “For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].”
How important it is for you to discover your purpose! What joy and peace will flood your heart when you find yourself in the preordained paths in which you were born to walk! God doesn’t just do things; He has a purpose for everything. He has a purpose for the world, and He sure has a purpose for your life. It’s important that you find out God’s purpose for you.
A generic purpose for all God’s children is that we were born for His glory; we were born to walk with God and bring Him honour. Let that basic purpose become established in your heart from today, and declare, “Lord, I thank you, because I was born for your glory.”
Beyond that, however, there’s a specific purpose for which you were created and placed on this earth. And it is in fulfilling that purpose that you truly bring glory and honour to God.
If you haven’t discovered that specific purpose, you can, starting today. Be bold to ask the Lord and He’ll tell you. Sometimes, He’ll speak expressly, as He did to Paul the Apostle (read: Acts 26:13-16). Other times, He’ll guide you into it, and every day, you’ll discover more and more of His purpose for your life, as you walk by faith in accordance with His Word in all things.
PRAYER
Thank you, Father, for revealing to me the specific purpose for which I was created and placed on this earth. I’m a witness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, sent from your heavenly Kingdom for the salvation of souls in the earth. My daily passion is to establish the Kingdom of God in the earth and in the hearts of men and thus bring you glory and honour, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
