하나님은 사랑 그 자체이십니다
He’s All Love
“사랑하지 아니하는 자는 하나님을 알지 못하나니 이는 하나님은 사랑이심이라”(요일 4:8)
종종 우리는 하나님은 사랑이 많으신 분이라고 말합니다. 맞습니다. 하지만 사랑이 그분의 소유하고 있는 성품 중 하나라고만 생각해서는 안 됩니다. 하나님은 사랑을 가지고 계신 것이 아니라 사랑 그 자체 이십니다. 하나님은 사랑이십니다. 사랑은 하나님의 본성입니다. 하나님께서 행하시는 모든 것은 사랑에서 비롯됩니다.
에베소서 2:4-5은 하나님의 크고 놀라운 사랑에 대해 말합니다. “긍휼이 풍성하신 하나님이 우리를 사랑하신 그 큰 사랑을 인하여 허물로 죽은 우리를 그리스도와 함께 살리셨고 (너희는 은혜로 구원을 받은 것이라)”
예수님은 맹인의 시력을 회복시키셨고, 귀머거리를 고치셨고, 절름발이를 걷게 하셨고, 불구의 팔다리를 가진 사람을 회복시키셨고, 죽은 사람을 살리셨습니다. 이 모든 것은 사랑의 행위였습니다. 예수님은 육신을 입고 온 사랑이셨습니다. 사랑이 의인화가 된 존재이셨습니다. 성경은 우리에게 12년 동안 혈루증을 앓던 한 여자가 예수님의 옷자락에 손을 대기 위해 어떻게 군중 속을 헤치고 들어갔는지 보여줍니다. 그녀는 예수님께 닿기 위해 목숨을 걸고 군중을 헤치며 나아갔습니다. 기억하십시오. 율법은 혈액 문제가 있는 사람이 다른 사람과 신체적 접촉을 하는 것을 금기했습니다. 그녀는 발견되었다면 돌에 맞아 죽었을 수도 있습니다.
그러나 성경은 그녀가 속으로 “그의 옷에 손가락만 대어도 낫겠다”고 생각했다고 말합니다. 그녀는 생각을 행동으로 옮겼고 즉시 고침을 받았습니다. 예수님의 모든 존재와 그분이 나타내는 모든 것은 사랑이십니다. 예수님의 말과 행동은 모든 사람에게 하나님의 사랑을 알려줍니다. 예수님은 하나님의 사랑의 나타남 이셨습니다.
예수님은 요한복음 15:9(메세지성경)에서 말씀하셨습니다. “내 아버지가 나를 사랑하신 것 같이 나도 너희를 사랑했다. 나의 사랑 안에 편히 머물러라.” 하나님은 무조건적으로, 분명히 당신을 사랑하십니다. 하나님의 사랑이 오늘 그리고 항상 당신에게 영감을 주며, 당신 안에서 그에 합당한 용감한 믿음을 불러일으키게 하십시오.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 나는 나를 향한 아버지의 사랑을 인식하며 감사를 드립니다. 나는 아버지께서 내가 그리스도 안에서 나의 운명을 이루고, 번영하며, 건강하고, 언제나 승리하며 살기 원하신다는 것을 압니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

He’s All Love
“He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love”(1 John 4:8).
Oftentimes, we say that God is loving; yes, He is. But it’s important to understand that love isn’t just a quality He possesses; it’s who He is. God is love. Love is His nature. Everything He does is love-inspired.
Ephesians 2:4-5 talks about His great and amazing love. It says, “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;).”
When Jesus restored sight to the blind, healed the deaf, made the lame to walk, restored maimed limbs and raised the dead; they were all acts of love. He was love made flesh; love personified. The Bible tells us how a certain woman who suffered haemorrhage for twelve years pressed through the crowd to touch the hem of His garment for healing. She pressed through the crowd at the risk of her life to get to Jesus. Remember, the Law forbade her to make physical contact with others during a blood issue; she’d have been stoned to death if discovered, because of her condition.
But the Bible says she thought to herself, “If I can just put a finger on his robe, I’ll get well.” She did and was healed instantly. Everything Jesus is and represents is love. His communication and actions pointed everyone to the Father’s love. He was the revelation of God’s love.
He said in John 15:9 (MSG), “I’ve loved you the way my Father has loved me. Make yourselves at home in my love.” He loves you unconditionally and unequivocally. Let this inspire you today and always, and provoke in you such audacity of faith.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I’m conscious and grateful for your love for me. I know that above all things, you desire that I fulfil my destiny in Christ, prosper, walk in health, and live triumphantly today, and always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
