찬양의 장막
THE TABERNACLE OF PRAISE
“이제 내 머리가 나를 둘러싼 내 원수 위에 들리리니 내가 그의 장막에서 즐거운 제사를 드리겠고 노래하며 여호와를 찬송하리로다”(시27:6)
다윗의 시대에는 두 개의 장막이 있었습니다. 하나는 기브온에, 하나는 예루살렘에 있었습니다. 역대상 16장은 이 두 장막에 대해 이야기합니다. 기브온에 있는 장막 곧 모세의 장막은 제사를 드리는 곳이었습니다. “제사장 사독과 그의 형제 제사장들을 기브온에 있던 산당에서 주의 성막 앞에 서게 하여 항상 아침저녁으로 번제 헌물 제단 위에 주께 번제 헌물을 드리며 주의 율법에 기록된 모든 것 즉 그분께서 이스라엘에게 명령하신 모든 것대로 행하게 하였고” (대상16:39-40)
예루살렘의 성막 곧 다윗의 장막에는 노래하는 레위인들이 있었고, 그들은 다윗의 임명을 받고 언약궤를 섬기고 있었습니다. “또 레위 사람을 세워 여호와의 궤 앞에서 섬기며 이스라엘 하나님 여호와를 칭송하고 감사하며 찬양하게 하였으니”(대상16:4) 레위인들은 밤낮으로 언약궤를 섬기며 주님을 경배했습니다.
기브온에서 수소와 염소로 제사를 드리는 동안, 예루살렘에서는 언제나 주님께 경배와 감사의 제사를 드렸습니다. 다윗은 말했습니다. “내가 노래로 하나님의 이름을 찬송하며 감사함으로 하나님을 위대하시다 하리니 이것이 소 곧 뿔과 굽이 있는 황소를 드림보다 여호와를 더욱 기쁘시게 함이 될 것이라”(시69:30-31)
여러 해가 지난 후, 신약에서 야고보는 일부 교회 장로들과 이방인을 향한 하나님의 계획에 대해 토론하면서 이러한 예언을 언급했습니다. “이후에 내가 돌아와서 다윗의 무너진 장막을 다시 지으며 또 그 허물어진 것을 다시 지어 일으키리니”(행15:16) 여기서 주님께서 “내가 모세의 장막을 다시 지으리라”고 말씀하지 않으셨음을 주목하십시오. 하나님은 경배가 끊이지 않는 다윗의 장막을 다시 세우겠다고 말씀하셨습니다.
이는 오늘날 우리가 교회에서 갖추고 있어야 하는 것이 무엇인지 알려줍니다. 바로 성소 안에서의 끝없는 경배입니다! 이 경배는 우리를 삶과 사역에서 더 높고 영광스러운 영역으로 높여줄 것입니다. 우리가 절대 무너지지 않을 살아있는 성전을 지었기 때문입니다.

사랑하는 아버지, 나는 언제나 당신의 이름을 송축할 것입니다. 당신을 향한 경배는 계속해서 내 입을 떠나지 않을 것이며, 나는 당신의 위대함을 온 땅에 선포하고 당신의 놀라움을 모든 세대에게 전할 것입니다. 내 삶에 있는 당신의 영광에 감사드립니다. 당신은 의롭고, 거룩하고, 은혜롭고, 인자하시며, 순결하십니다. 하나님의 왕국은 영원하며, 당신은 열방을 의로 다스리십니다. 오 주님, 당신의 이름을 영원히 송축합니다. 아멘.

THE TABERNACLE OF PRAISE
“And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the Lord”(Psalm 27:6).
In the days of David, there were two tabernacles: one was in Gibeon, while the other was in Jerusalem. 1 Chronicles 16 talks about both of them. The Tabernacle in Gibeon, which was the Tabernacle of Moses, was the place of sacrifice: “David left Zadok the priest and his fellow priests before the tabernacle of the Lord at the high place in Gibeon to present burnt offerings to the Lord on the altar of burnt offering regularly, morning and evening, in accordance with everything written in the Law of the Lord, which he had given Israel” (1 Chronicles 16:39-40 NIV).
The tabernacle in Jerusalem, which was the tabernacle of David, had Levitical singers whom David had appointed to minister before the Ark of God. “And he (David) appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the Lord, and to record, and to thank and praise the Lord God of Israel” (1 Chronicles 16:4). The Levites were to minister before the ark night and day, singing praises to the Lord.
While in Gibeon they were offering the sacrifices of bulls and goats, in Jerusalem, they offered sacrifices of praise and thanksgiving continually to the Lord. David said, “I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving. This also shall please the Lord better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs” (Psalm 69:30-31).
Many years later, in the New Testament, James, while debating with some Church elders about God’s plan for the Gentiles, quoted a prophecy: “After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up” (Acts 15:16). Notice the Lord didn’t say, “I will build again the tabernacle of Moses.” Rather, He said He would build again the tabernacle of David where was unending praise.
This tells us what we’re supposed to have in the Church today: unending praise in the sanctuary! It’ll usher us into a higher and more glorious arena of life and ministry, as we build a living tabernacle that will never be destroyed.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I’ll bless your Name at all times, and your praise shall continually be in my mouth, declaring your greatness in all the earth, and making known your wonders to all generations. Thank you for your glory in my life; you’re righteous, holy, gracious, kind and pure. Your Kingdom is everlasting, and you rule the nations in righteousness. Blessed be your Name forever, O Lord. Amen.
