당신의 고백이 일관되게 하십시오
BE CONSISTENT IN YOUR CONFESSION
“또 약속하신 이는 미쁘시니 우리가 믿는 도리의 소망을 움직이지 말며 굳게 잡고”(히10:23)
예수님은 말로 그분이 행하신 모든 기적들을 일으키셨습니다. 예수님이 빵 다섯개와 물고기 두 마리로 많은 사람을 먹이셨을 때도 그 일은 말로 일어났습니다! 성경은 예수님이 감사함으로 그 음식들을 축복하셨다고 말합니다(마14:19). 예수님은 말로 능력을 활성화시키셨습니다.
말은 “실체”입니다. 말은 창조적인 힘을 가지고 있습니다. 당신이 말할 때 그 힘이 풀어지면서 그것이 긍정적이든 부정적이든 말한 것을 실제로 나타냅니다. 성경은 “죽고 사는 것이 혀의 힘에 달렸나니”(잠18:21) 라고 말합니다. 무언가를 말하고는 그와 다른 말을 하며 당신의 영을 혼동시키지 마십시오.
야고보서 3:11에서는 단물과 쓴 물이 한 샘에서 나지 않는다고 말합니다. 당신의 고백이 일관되게 하십시오. 하나님의 진리에 대한 당신의 선포가 일관되게 하십시오. 진리는 일관됩니다. 일시적인 상황이나 환경에 근거하여 당신의 고백을 바꾸지 마십시오. 당신이 무엇을 느끼거나, 보거나, 듣든지 상관없습니다. 당신이 믿고 또 받은 것을 굳게 붙잡으십시오.
하나님의 말씀에 대한 당신의 고백을 굳게 붙드십시오. 사탄에게 기회를 주지 마십시오. 사탄이 당신에게 대적하여 보여주는 증거나 역경이 무엇이든지 상관없습니다. 다음과 같이 말하십시오. “나는 그리스도 예수 안에서 승리자다! 내 안에 계신 이가 세상에 있는 자보다 더 크다.” 이렇게 말한 뒤에 무슨 일이 일어나도 동요하지 마십시오. 당신의 믿음이 승리할 것입니다.
이것이 당신의 인생에서 환경과 상황들을 대하는 방법입니다. 당신은 믿음이 없어 하나님의 약속을 의심하지 않습니다. 오히려 당신은 믿음에 견고해져서 주님께 영광 돌립니다 (롬4:20). 믿음의 말씀을 항상 당신의 입에 간직하십시오. 그러면 당신은 언제나 승리할 것입니다. “내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 누구든지 이 산더러 들리어 바다에 던져지라 하며 그 말하는 것이 이루어질 줄 믿고 마음에 의심하지 아니하면 그대로 되리라”(막11:23).
고백
나는 상황이 내 삶의 결과를 좌지우지하는 것을 거절합니다. 나는 불신앙으로 하나님의 말씀을 의심하지 않습니다. 나는 항상 믿음 안에서 강건하며 하나님께 영광을 돌립니다! 어떤 아픔, 질병, 또는 연약함도 내 몸 안에서 번성할 수 없습니다. 내가 주님과 연결되어 있고, 그분과 한 영이기 때문입니다. 신성한 생명과 변함없는 건강과 힘이 나의 모든 세포 조직과 혈액, 모든 뼈에 가득합니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

Be Consistent In Your Confession
“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised)”(Hebrews 10:23).
Everything Jesus did—all the miracles He performed—He did with words. Even when He multiplied the five loaves of bread and two fish; it was with words! The Bible says He blessed it (Matthew 14:19) by giving thanks; He activated the power with words.
Words are “things”; they possess creative energy. When you talk, energy is released to cause what you’ve said to materialize, positive or negative. The Bible says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue” (Proverbs 18:21). Don’t confuse your spirit by saying one thing and obscuring it with another.
James 3:11 says sweet and bitter water don’t emanate from the same fountain. Be consistent in your confessions—in your declaration of God’s truths. Truth is consistent. Don’t change your confession on the basis of transient situations or circumstances. It makes no difference how you feel, what you see or hear; hold fast to what you’ve believed and received.
Hold fast to your confession of God’s Word. Don’t give Satan a chance. It makes no difference the contrary evidences and adversities he may stir against you; you say, “I’m a victor in Christ Jesus! Greater is He that’s in me than he that’s in the world.” Once you’ve said that, no matter what happens thereafter, refuse to waver. Your faith will prevail.
That’s how you deal with circumstances and situations in life: you stagger not at the promise of God through unbelief. Rather, you’re strong in faith, giving glory to the Lord (Romans 4:20). Keep the word of faith in your mouth always and you’ll always be victorious: “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith” (Mark 11:23).
CONFESSION
I refuse to allow circumstances dictate the outcome of my life. I don’t stagger at the Word of God through unbelief; I’m ever strong in faith, giving glory to God! No sickness, disease, or infirmity can thrive in my body because I’m joined to the Lord and I’m one spirit with Him. Divine life and unfailing health and strength are at work in every fibre of my being, in every cell of my blood, and in every bone of my body! Glory to God!
