Protect Your Heart With God’s Truth
“내 아들아 너는 듣고 지혜를 얻어 네 마음을 바른 길로 인도할지니라”(잠 23:19)
어떤 사람들은 자신도 모르는 새에 자신의 삶에 마귀를 초대합니다. 그들은 특정 종류의 음악, 춤 등을 통해 마귀의 영향을 받습니다. 예를 들어, 음란물 웹사이트를 방문하는 그리스도인들은 마귀에게 자기 자신을 열어주는 것입니다. 구약에서 하나님은 그분의 백성들이 다른 사람의 벌거벗은 모습을 보는 것을 금하셨습니다. (레위기 18장을 읽어보십시오.)
하나님은 그런 일들을 받아들이지 않으십니다. 그런 일들은 의의 생명과 일치하지 않습니다. 생각해 보십시오. 그리스도가 어떻게 사람의 심령 안으로 들어오셨습니까? 당신이 예수 그리스도를 믿고 그분의 주되심을 고백할 때, 그분은 즉시 당신의 심령 안으로 들어오십니다. 이와 동일한 방식으로 한 사람이 마귀의 영감을 받은 것들에 스스로를 노출시킨다면, 그는 자신의 심령을 마귀에게 열어준 것과 같습니다.

하나님의 말씀은 깨끗케 합니다. 말씀을 묵상할 때 당신은 모든 불의로부터 깨끗해집니다. “너희는 내가 일러준 말로 이미 깨끗하여졌으니”(요 15:3) 그리스도인 답게 사십시오. 오늘의 본문 구절은 자신의 마음을 바른 길, 하나님의 진리로 인도하라고 말합니다. 말씀으로 당신의 생각과 영을 보호하십시오.
잠언 23:26에서 하나님은 “내 아들아 네 마음을 내게 주며 네 눈으로 내 길을 즐거워할지어다” 라고 말씀하셨습니다. 당신의 마음이 그분의 말씀과 그분의 의 안에서 기뻐하게 하고, 그분께 합당한 삶을 살며 모든 방면에서 그분을 기쁘게 하십시오. 할렐루야!
고백
이 세상의 신인 사탄은 내 안에 아무것도 가지고 있지 않습니다! 주님은 나에게 육신을 다스릴 수 있는 통치권을 주셔서 내 심령과 생각을 부지런히 지키게 하셨습니다. 건전하지 못한 생각은 내 마음에 뿌리를 내릴 수 없습니다. 내 영과 생각과 몸은 날마다 말씀에 내어져 있고 말씀으로 깨끗케 됩니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

PROTECT YOUR HEART WITH GOD’S TRUTH
“My child, listen and be wise. Keep your heart on the right course” (Proverbs 23:19 NLT).
There’re things that some people do that invite demons into their lives without them knowing. They yield themselves to the influence of demons through certain kinds of music, dance, among several other things. For example, Christians who visit pornographic websites open themselves to demons. In the Old Testament, God forbade His children from looking at the nakedness of others (Read Leviticus 18).
Such things aren’t acceptable to God. They’re not consistent with the life of righteousness. Think about it: How does Christ come into the heart of a man? When you believe in Jesus Christ and confess His lordship, He comes into your heart in an instant. That’s the same way a man can open his heart to demons when he exposes himself to things that are inspired by demons.
Protect and keep yourself from all unrighteousness. The Bible says, “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness” (Romans 1:18). Refuse to harbour unclean thoughts. Use the Word to purify your heart of anger, bitterness and malice.
The Word of God is a cleanser. As you meditate on the Word, you’re cleansed from ALL unrighteousness: “Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you” (John 15:3). Live as a Christian. Our theme verse says to keep your heart on the right course, on God’s truth. Protect your mind and spirit with the Word.
In Proverbs 23:26 (NIV), God says, “My son, give me your heart and let your eyes delight in my ways.” Let your heart delight in His Word, in His righteousness, and live a life worthy of Him—pleasing Him in every way. Hallelujah!
CONFESSION
Satan, the god of this world, has nothing in me! The Lord has given me dominion over the flesh, to guard my heart and mind with all diligence. No unwholesome thought can take root in my heart. My spirit, my mind and my body are yielded to the Word and purified by the Word every day, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
