당신은 필요한 모든 것을 가지고 있습니다
You Have Everything You Need
“이 후에 여호와의 말씀이 환상 중에 아브람에게 임하여 이르시되 아브람아 두려워하지 말라 나는 네 방패요 너의 지극히 큰 상급이니라”(창 15:1)
오늘의 본문 구절에서 밑줄 친 부분은 하나님께서 아브라함에게 말씀하신 내용이며, 이는 그분이 민수기 18:20에서 아론에게 하신 말씀을 떠오르게 합니다. “… 내가 이스라엘 자손 가운데서 네 몫이요 네 유업이니라.”(한글킹제임스) 성경을 통해 우리는 주님께서 레위 지파를 제외한 이스라엘의 지파들에게 유업을 나누어 주셨음을 알 수 있습니다. 그리고 주님은 레위 지파에게 “내가 너의 유업이다”라고 말씀하셨습니다.
주님이 당신의 유업이라면 당신이 얼마나 부유하겠습니까? 얼마나 영광스러운 삶이겠습니까? 시편 24:1은 말합니다. “땅과 거기에 충만한 것과 세계와 그 가운데에 사는 자들은 다 여호와의 것이로다.” 이 말씀은 진리이기 때문에 땅과 그곳에 속한 모든 것은 당신의 소유입니다. 당신은 그분의 상속자이기 때문입니다. 바울은 이것을 이해하였기에 “만물이 다 너희 것임이라”(고전 3:21)고 말했습니다.
이제 당신은 기도시간을 하나님께 필요한 것들을 요청하는 데 쓰면 안 되는 이유를 이해할 수 있을 것입니다. 이미 당신에게 그분 자신을 포함하여 모든 것을 주신 분께 무엇을 더 구하겠습니까? 당신은 그리스도를 가졌고, 그리스도는 모든 것입니다. 이 진리가 당신의 사고방식과 삶을 영원히 바꿔야 마땅합니다.
힘이 필요합니까? 성경은 주님이 당신의 힘이라고 말합니다! 그러므로 시편 기자처럼 증언하십시오. “여호와는 내 생명의 능력이시니”(시 27:1) 지혜가 필요합니까? 성경은 그리스도가 당신의 지혜라고 말합니다(고전 1:30).
당신은 생명과 경건에 속한 모든 것을 받았습니다. 당신의 영광스럽고 탁월하며 풍성한 삶은 시작되었습니다. 시편 기자가 이렇게 말한 것은 당연합니다. “내게 줄로 재어 준 구역은 아름다운 곳에 있음이여 나의 기업이 실로 아름답도다”(시 16:6). 모든 것이 당신의 것입니다!
기도
그리스도 안에서 하늘에 속한 모든 신령한 복을 주신 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 하나님 아버지는 복되십니다. 나는 생명과 경건에 속한 모든 것을 받았습니다. 나는 그리스도와 그분의 복음의 헤아릴 수 없는 풍성함으로 나의 세상을 축복합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

YOU HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED
After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward (Genesis 15:1).
The underlined words spoken by God to Abraham in our opening verse reminds of what He said later to Aaron in Numbers 18:20: “…I am thy part and thine inheritance among the children of Israel.” We understand from the Scriptures that the Lord apportioned inheritance to the different tribes of Israel except the Levites, to whom He said, “I am your inheritance.”
How rich can you get when the Lord is your inheritance? How glorious would your life be? Psalm 24:1 says, “The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” Since this is true, then the earth and everything in it belongs to you because you’re His heir. Paul understood this and said, “…all things are yours” (1 Corinthians 3:21).
Now you can understand why your prayer times shouldn’t be spent asking God for things for yourself.
What do you want to ask of one who’s already given you everything, including Himself? You have Christ, and Christ is everything. This truth should change your mentality and life forever.
Is it strength you require? The Bible says He’s your strength! Therefore, testify like the Psalmist, “…the LORD is the strength of my life…” (Psalm 27:1). Is it wisdom you think you need? The Bible says Christ is your wisdom (1 Corinthians 1:30).
You’ve been granted all that you require for life and godliness; you’ve been launched into a life of glory, excellence and superabundance. No wonder the Psalmist exclaimed, “The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage” (Psalm 16:6). All things are yours!

I’ve been granted all that I require for life and godliness, and I bless my world with the unsearchable riches of Christ and His Gospel that I bear, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
