“또 우리에게는 더 확실한 예언이 있어 어두운 데를 비추는 등불과 같으니 날이 새어 샛별이 너희 마음에 떠오르기까지 너희가 이것을 주의하는 것이 옳으니라”(벧후 1:19)
하나님의 자녀로서 우리는 삶에서 승리하려고 애쓰지 않습니다. 우리가 직면하는 모든 상황은 실시간으로 벌어지는 일이 아닙니다. 우리는 대본대로 행동할 뿐입니다. 그 대본에 따르면 당신은 승리했다고 쓰여 있습니다. 당신이 대본을 따르지 않을 때만 문제가 생길 것입니다. 그 대본은 하나님의 말씀입니다.
하나님의 말씀인 대본을 따를 때 무슨 일이 일어나든지 상관없습니다. 이렇게 담대하게 선포하십시오. “아닙니다, 나는 이 모든 것에서 정복자보다 나은 자입니다!” 당신은 항상 동요하지 않을 것입니다. 왜 그렇습니까? 당신은 무엇을 경험하든지 상관없이 말씀이 더욱 신뢰할 만하다는 확실한 예언의 말씀을 이미 가지고 있기 때문입니다.

말씀을 붙잡고 있을 때 당신은 “긴장을 풀어라. 모든 것이 괜찮다.”라고 말씀하시는 성령의 음성을 듣게 됩니다. 할렐루야! 어두워 보이는 곳에도 하나님의 말씀이 있고 당신이 직면하는 도전은 지나갑니다. 그러므로 포기하거나 낙담하기를 거절하십시오.

나는 삶의 상황들로 인해 동요하거나 흔들리지 않습니다. 끊임없이 이기고, 항상 성장하며, 진보하고, 넘어지지 않는 비결을 알고 있기 때문입니다. 나를 대적하여 무슨 일이 일어나든지 말씀이 나의 확신이자 유익입니다! 할렐루야!

HOLD ON TO THE WORD
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts (2 Peter 1:19).
As God’s children, we’re not trying to win in life; whatever trouble comes to us isn’t “Live”; we’re only acting out a script. In that script, it’s written that you won. You’re only going to have a problem if you don’t follow the script. The script is God’s Word. It doesn’t matter what comes at you when you follow the script—the Word—you’d boldly declare, “Nay, in all these things I’m more than a conqueror!” You’ll always be unmoved. Why? You already have the sure word of prophecy that no matter your experiences, the Word is more dependable!
Read our theme verse again; it reveals the secret of keeping afloat, the secret of winning continually, growing always and ever making progress. No matter who you are, no matter what your experiences may have been, it says, “Take heed to the Word of God as a light that shines in a dark place.”
Let’s suppose you’re currently in a dark place in your life and your experiences are so terrible; everything seems to be completely against your knowledge of the Word of God. You’re praying and it’s like nothing is changing; God says, “Look at that word of prophecy which may be like a flicker of light, and hold on to it! Hang in there, unwavering, until the day dawns, and the day star arises in your heart.” Hallelujah!
As you hold on to the Word, you’d hear the voice of the Spirit telling you, “Relax, everything is all right.” Hallelujah! In that seemingly dark place, God’s Word is there; the challenge came to pass. Therefore, refuse to give up or be dismayed.
CONFESSION
I have a more sure word of prophecy with which I make war and subdue ircumstances. I’m unperturbed by the circumstances of life because I have the secret of keeping afloat; the secret of continually winning, growing always, making progress and never going down. Whatever comes against me, the Word is my confidence and advantage. Hallelujah!
