믿음을 무효화하지 마십시오
Don’t Void Your Faith
“만일 율법에 속한 자들이 상속자이면 믿음은 헛것이 되고 약속은 파기되었느니라”(롬 4:14)
믿음이 무효화될 수 있습니까? 물론입니다! 자신의 믿음을 무효화하고 하나님의 약속들을 자신의 삶에서 효과 없게 만드는 사람들이 있습니다. 예를 들어 마가복음 7:13에서 예수님은 자신들의 전통으로 인해 하나님의 말씀을 영향력 없게 만든 유대인들을 책망하셨습니다. 여기서 말하는 “전통”은 삶의 방식이나 개인적인 문화 혹은 당신이 믿는 바를 뜻합니다. 만약 이런 것들이 하나님의 말씀과 일치하지 않는다면, 당신은 하나님의 말씀을 삶에서 영향력이 없게 만들고 당신의 믿음을 무효화하는 것입니다.
어떤 사람들은 그들의 믿음이 역사하게 하려고 노력하지만 잘 되지 않습니다. 이는 그들이 자신들의 “전통”으로 믿음을 무효화하기 때문입니다. 그들이 해야 할 일은 그들의 “전통”을 바꾸고 새로운 사고방식 곧 하나님의 지혜의 사고방식을 받아들이는 것입니다.
자신의 행위를 신뢰하는 것 역시 믿음을 무효화합니다. 당신이 어떤 일을 잘 해서 지금 건강하고 성공했고 축복받았다고 생각한다면, 당신은 그 전통이 당신의 축복을 지속시켜 준다고 생각하기 때문에 그 행위를 신뢰하며 종교적으로 행하게 됩니다. 그러면 당신의 믿음은 무효화됩니다. 사도 바울이 한 말을 기억하십시오. “우리가 행한 의로운 행위에 의하지 않고 그의 자비하심에 따라… 우리를 구원하셨으니”(딛 3:5)
갈라디아서 2:16은 말합니다. “사람이 의롭게 되는 것은 율법의 행위로 말미암음이 아니요 오직 예수 그리스도를 믿음으로 말미암는 줄 알므로 우리도 그리스도 예수를 믿나니 이는 우리가 율법의 행위로써가 아니고 그리스도를 믿음으로써 의롭다 함을 얻으려 함이라 율법의 행위로써는 의롭다 함을 얻을 육체가 없느니라.” 당신의 믿음은 항상 그리스도가 성취하신 일에 근거해야 합니다. 그분의 믿음으로 사십시오(갈 2:20). 할렐루야!
기도
나의 믿음은 효과가 있으며 항상 승리합니다. 상황은 나의 믿음으로 가득 찬 고백에 일치하게 변화되며, 나는 나의 세상을 믿음으로 다스리고 통치하며 지배합니다. 나는 그리스도의 복음의 충만한 복 안에서 행하고 영원한 왕국의 실재를 누립니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

DON’T VOID YOUR FAITH
For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect (Romans 4:14).
Can faith be made void? Absolutely! There’re people who have made their faith void and the Word of God of non-effect in their lives. For example, in Mark 7:13, Jesus rebuked the Jews for making God’s Word of non-effect by their tradition. “Tradition” here refers to your way of life, your personal culture, and the things you believe. If these things are inconsistent with the Word of God, you make the Word of non-effect in your life, and your faith is made void.
Some people are putting their faith to work all right, but it’s not working, because they’ve made it void by their “traditions.” What they ought to do is change their “traditions”; adopt a new mind-set; the mindset of God’s wisdom.
Trusting in your own works also voids your faith. If you think you’re healthy and successful and blessed just because you’re doing some things right, and now you trust so much in those things and do them religiously because you think that ritual is the sustenance of your blessing, then your faith has been made void. Remember the words of Paul the apostle: “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us…” (Titus 3:5). Galatians 2:16 say, “Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.” Your trust must always be in the finished works of Christ; live by His faith (Galatians 2:20). Hallelujah!
PRAYER
My faith is active and always prevailing! Circumstances align with my faith-filled confessions and I rule, reign and dominate my world by my faith. I walk in the full blessings of the Gospel of Christ and enjoy the eternal realities of the Kingdom, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
