Nothing Can Limit You
“그들에게 이르시되 삼가 모든 탐심을 물리치라 사람의 생명이 그 소유의 넉넉한 데 있지 아니하니라 하시고”(눅 12:15)
창세기 37장에서 우리는 어떻게 요셉의 형제들이 요셉을 대적하여 그를 노예로 팔아버렸는지 볼 수 있습니다. 보디발의 집에서 노예였던 요셉은 그의 형제들이 그에게 한 일들에 대해 억울해하면서 투덜거리거나 울고 있을 수도 있었습니다. 그가 불평하는 것은 어느 정도 타당할 수도 있었지만, 그는 실패에 대해 어떤 변명도 하지 않았습니다. 성경은 말합니다. “여호와께서 요셉과 함께 하시므로 그가 형통한 자가 되어 그의 주인 애굽 사람의 집에 있으니”(창 39:2)
보디발의 집에서 노예로 있던 요셉이 번영하였다면, 이는 진정한 번영은 돈에 달려있는 것이 아니라는 의미입니다. 그러므로 당신의 번영은 당신이 소유한 돈에 달려있지 않습니다. 다른 사람들이 당신에게 빚진 돈이나, 당신의 은행 계좌에 있는 돈과는 상관이 없습니다. 당신의 번영은 당신의 심령 안에 있습니다. 어떤 사람들은 “빌려준 돈을 제대로 받았다면 내가 이런 끔찍한 재정상황에 처하지 않았을 텐데.”라고 말하기도 합니다. 아닙니다. 그런 식으로 생각하거나 말하지 마십시오. 그 무엇도 당신이 파산하거나 가난해질만큼 당신에게서 돈을 빼앗을 수 없습니다. 당신은 하나님의 상속자이며 그리스도와 함께 한 공동 상속자입니다. 당신은 절대 마르지 않는 공급에 연결되어 있습니다.
당신이 돈을 빌려주었다가 다시 받게 된다면 하나님을 찬양하십시오. 그러나 당신이 돈을 빌려준 그 순간, 그 돈에 연연하지 마십시오. 예수님은 누가복음 6:35에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “오직 너희는 원수를 사랑하고 선대하며 아무 것도 바라지 말고 꾸어 주라 그리하면 너희 상이 클 것이요 또 지극히 높으신 이의 아들이 되리니 그는 은혜를 모르는 자와 악한 자에게도 인자하시니라” 그분은 당신이 더 높은 차원의 것에 집중하길 원하십니다. 하나님의 부유함이 당신의 부유함입니다. 당신은 다른 사람들에게 그 부를 전달하는 자이며, 그 통로는 절대 막힐 수 없습니다. 그러므로 당신 삶의 재정적 번영에 관해 당신의 근원이신 주님께 집중하십시오. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!
고백
나는 하나님의 상속자이며 그리스도와 함께 한 공동 상속자이기 때문에 이 세상의 모든 부는 내게 속합니다. 은과 금이 내 것이고, 뭇 산의 가축이 다 내 것입니다. 그러므로 나는 세상의 그 어떤 것에도 제한 받기를 거절합니다. 나는 하나님의 부와 축복을 다른 사람들에게 막힘없이 전달하는 자입니다. 나는 끝없는 공급에 연결되어 있습니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

YOU ARE BOUNDLESS
And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth (Luke 12:15).
In Genesis 37, we read how Joseph’s brothers plotted against him and sold him into slavery. As a slave in the house of Potiphar, Joseph could have been whining and crying, bitter about what his brothers did to him. His complaints would have been valid, in a sense, but he wasn’t going to give any excuse for failure. The Bible says, “And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian” (Genesis 39:2).
If, while as a slave in the house of Potiphar, Joseph was still prosperous, then it means true prosperity isn’t about money. Therefore, your prosperity shouldn’t be dependent on how much money you have or don’t have; what others owe you or what you have in your bank account; your prosperity is in your heart. Someone says, “I would never have been in this terrible financial situation if not that someone I loaned money has refused to pay me back.” No; don’t think or talk like that. No amount of money could ever be taken from you, enough to make you broke or poor. You’re an heir of God, a joint-heir with Christ; plugged to a supply that never runs dry.
When you lend out money, if they pay you back, praise God; but the moment you give it out, rise above it. You are boundless. Jesus said in Luke 6:35, “…love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.” He’s getting your attention on something higher: God’s wealth is your wealth. You’re only a conduit—a free-flowing conduit—for passing it to others. Your flow can’t be blocked. So, in your life, with regard to your financial prosperity, focus on the Lord as your source. Glory to God!
CONFESSION
All the wealth in this world belongs to me, for I’m an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ. The silver and the gold are mine, including the cattle upon a thousand hills. Therefore, I refuse to be limited by anything in this world. I’m a free-flowing conduit of God’s wealth and blessings to others, and I’m plugged to an unending supply. Glory to God!
