기술과 재주 이상의 것
More Than Skill And Dexterity
“내가 그를 하나님의 영으로 충만케 하여 지혜와 명철과 지식과 여러 가지 기술로써…”(출 31:3, 한글킹제임스)
하나님의 일을 행하기 위해서는 기술과 재주 이상의 것들이 요구됩니다. 당신은 성령으로 충만해야 합니다! 우리가 읽은 본문 구절을 기억하십시오. 주께서 브살렐을 임무를 위해 특별히 지명하셨고, 그분은 먼저 그를 영으로 충만케 하셔야 했습니다.
교회 시설 유지팀, 음악 혹은 기술팀, 어린이 사역팀, 새신자팀, 안내팀, 목회팀, 셀사역팀 등은 모두 사역의 일부입니다. 당신은 그 일들을 육신을 통해서 할 수도 있지만, 성령으로 말미암아 할 수도 있습니다. 당신은 반드시, 언제나 당신이 하는 일들을 하나님의 전 안과 왕국 안에서 성령의 능력으로 해야 합니다. 그렇지 않으면 그 일들은 신성한 중요성이나 영향력이 없을 것입니다.
바울은 고린도후서 3:5-6에서 이렇게 말합니다. “… 우리의 만족은 오직 하나님으로부터 나느니라 그가 또한 우리를 새 언약의 일꾼 되기에 만족하게 하셨으니 율법 조문으로 하지 아니하고 오직 영으로 함이니 율법 조문은 죽이는 것이요 영은 살리는 것이니라” 살리는 것은 영입니다. 그러므로 하나님의 전에서 행하는 당신의 일과 섬김이 그분으로 말미암아 거룩해지도록 하십시오.
로마서 15:15-16에서 바울은 이방인들을 위한 하나님의 일꾼이 되도록 자신에게 주어진 은혜를 간증했습니다. 그 다음 그는 이렇게 기도했습니다. “… 이방인을 제물로 드리는 것이 성령 안에서 거룩하게 되어 받으실 만하게 하려 하심이라” 성령님 없이 하는 사역은 없습니다. 그분 없이는 그 무엇도 성공할 수 없습니다.
당신이 교회에서 리더나 일꾼으로서 일하는 자라면, 성령은 당신의 일을 거룩하게 해야 합니다! 스가랴 4:6을 말합니다. “만군의 여호와께서 말씀하시되 이는 힘으로 되지 아니하며 능력으로 되지 아니하고 오직 나의 영으로 되느니라”
주님과 동행할 때 당신에게 필요하며 당신이 반드시 경험해야 하는 지속적인 성령의 충만함이 있습니다. 에베소서 5:18-21을 읽고 항상 성령으로 충만해지는 법을 배우십시오.
기도
나는 모든 일을 하나님의 영의 능력으로 합니다. 나는 항상 성령으로 충만하며, 지혜와 건전한 판단과 지식과 영광과 다스림 가운데 있습니다. 그러므로 나는 거침없는 성공과 끊임없이 증가하는 영광을 경험합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

MORE THAN SKILL AND DEXTERITY
…I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship (Exodus 31:3).
It takes much more than skill and dexterity to do God’s work. You have to be filled with the Spirit! Recall what we read in our opening scripture. The Lord specifically appointed Bezaleel for an assignment, but He had to fill him with the Spirit first.
Church maintenance, the music or technical department, children’s ministry, the first timers’ ministry, the ushering department, pastoral care units, cell ministry, etc., are all aspects of pastoral work. You can’t do them through the flesh, but by the Spirit. You must, and always, do what you do in the house of God and in the Kingdom by the power of the Spirit, otherwise, it’ll be of no divine significance or impact.
Paul said in 2 Corinthians 3:5-6, “…our sufficiency is of God; Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.” It’s the Spirit that gives life; therefore, your work and service in the house of God must be sanctified by Him.
In Romans 15:15-16, Paul testified of the grace given to him to be a minister of God to the Gentiles. Then, he prayed “…that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.” There’s no ministry without the Holy Spirit. Nothing succeeds without Him.
If you function in any capacity as a leader or worker in the church, the Spirit must sanctify your work! Zechariah 4:6 says, “…Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.” There’s a constant infilling of the Spirit that you require, and must experience, as you walk with the Lord. Read Ephesians 5:18-21 to learn how to be filled with the Spirit, always.
PRAYER
I do all things by the power of God’s Spirit. I’m continually filled with the Spirit, in wisdom, sound judgement, knowledge, glory and dominion! Therefore, I experience unstoppable success and ever-increasing glory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
