Build Your Life With The Word
“너희가 거듭난 것은 썩어질 씨로 된 것이 아니요 썩지 아니할 씨로 된 것이니 살아 있고 항상 있는 하나님의 말씀으로 되었느니라”(벧전 1:23)
기독교는 흥미진진한 삶이며 말씀을 통한 승리의 삶입니다. 진정한 기독교 안에서는 성령님께서 당신이 하나님을 기쁘게 하는 믿음의 삶을 살도록 도와주시기 때문에 당신이 하나님을 기쁘시게 하기 위해서 고군분투할 필요가 없습니다. 당신이 해야 할 일은 말씀을 통해 그분께 집중하는 일뿐입니다. 그분의 말씀 가운데 거하고, 말씀으로 사십시오.
하나님의 말씀에 따라 생활할 때, 당신이 하나님을 기쁘시게 하고 있는지 알기 위해 자신의 삶을 지켜볼 필요가 없습니다. 믿음이 없이는 하나님을 기쁘시게 할 수 없고(히 11:6), 믿음은 말씀을 따라 행동하는 것입니다.
주 예수님은 우리를 위해 하나님의 말씀에 따라 행동하는 사람의 삶과 지혜를 설명해 주셨습니다. 그분은 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다 “집을 짓되 깊이 파고 주추를 반석 위에 놓은 사람과 같으니 큰 물이 나서 탁류가 그 집에 부딪치되 잘 지었기 때문에 능히 요동하지 못하게 하였거니와”(눅 6:48)
이는 우리가 야고보서 1:22-25에서 볼 수 있는 내용과 유사합니다. “너희는 말씀을 행하는 자가 되고 듣기만 하여 자신을 속이는 자가 되지 말라 누구든지 말씀을 듣고 행하지 아니하면 그는 거울로 자기의 생긴 얼굴을 보는 사람과 같아서 제 자신을 보고 가서 그 모습이 어떠했는지를 곧 잊어버리거니와 자유롭게 하는 온전한 율법을 들여다보고 있는 자는 듣고 잊어버리는 자가 아니요 실천하는 자니 이 사람은 그 행하는 일에 복을 받으리라”
당신의 삶이 말씀 위에 지어진다면 가장 심한 폭풍우 속에서도 당신은 강하고 클 것입니다. 당신의 삶을 말씀으로 지으십시오. 하나님의 말씀은 당신의 고군분투 없이도 당신을 그분이 원하시는 존재로 만들 것입니다. 마태복음 4:19에서 예수님께서 하신 말씀을 기억하십시오. “나를 따라오라 내가 너희를 사람을 낚는 어부가 되게 하리라”
그들이 해야했던 유일한 일은 그분을 따르는 것이었고, 그분은 그들을 성공으로 만드실 수 있으셨습니다. 말씀은 당신을 건강과 힘과 승리로 이끌고, 당신은 유례없는 진보와 평안과 번영을 경험하게 될 것입니다.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 당신의 자애롭고 계시를 주며 나를 고무시키는 말씀에 감사 드립니다. 말씀은 나를 지속적으로 세우며 위로 향하는 길로 인도합니다. 나는 말씀을 공부하고 묵상함으로 말씀의 사역에 나를 완전히 내어드립니다. 그러므로 나는 건강, 힘, 승리, 평안, 번영 가운데 삽니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

BUILD YOUR LIFE WITH THE WORD
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever (1 Peter 1:23).
Christianity is an exciting life—a life of victory through the Word. In true Christianity, you don’t need to struggle to please God, because the Holy Spirit helps you live the faith life that pleases Him. All you have to do is pay attention to Him through the Word. Live in, and by His Word.
When you live according to the Word of God, you won’t need to keep watching your life to know whether or not you’re pleasing God. It takes faith to please Him (Hebrews 11:6), and faith is acting on the Word.
The Lord Jesus described for us the life and wisdom of the one who acts on God’s Word. According to the Master, “He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock” (Luke 6:48).
It parallels what James 1:22-25 says: “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.”
When your life is built on the Word, you’ll forever stand strong and tall, even in the midst of the harshest of storms. The Word of God will make you what God wants you to be, without you having to struggle. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 4:19; He said, “…Follow me and I will make you fishers of men.” All they had to do was to follow, and He’ll make them a success. The Word will keep you in health, strength, and victory, and you’ll experience unprecedented progress, peace and prosperity in your life.
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for your gracious, enlightening, and inspiring Word, which continually builds me up and sets me on an upward course. I’m completely yielded to the ministry of the Word, in study and meditation; therefore, I walk in health, strength, and victory, peace and prosperity, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
