You Own The World
“너희가 그리스도의 것이면 곧 아브라함의 자손이요 약속대로 유업을 이을 자니라”(갈 3:29)
로마서 8장 16-17절은 우리가 하나님의 자녀이며, 하나님의 상속자이고, 그리스도와 함께 한 공동상속자임을 알게 합니다. 오늘의 본문 구절을 다시 읽어보십시오. “너희가 그리스도의 것이면 곧 아브라함의 자손이요 약속대로 유업을 이을 자니라” 당신은 이 부분을 읽을 때 기쁨으로 소리칠 것입니다. 당신이 이 세상을 소유하고 있다는 것을 의미하기 때문입니다. 하나님은 온 세상을 아브라함과 그의 씨에게 주셨습니다. 그 씨는 그리스도이며, 당신이 그리스도에게 속했다면 당신은 아브라함의 자손이고 약속에 따른 상속자입니다.
이제 당신은 성경에서 “도둑질하는 자는 다시 도둑질하지 말고 돌이켜 가난한 자에게 구제할 수 있도록 자기 손으로 수고하여 선한 일을 하라”(엡 4:28)고 말하는 이유를 더 잘 이해할 수 있습니다. 온 세상이 당신에게 속했다면 어떻게 당신이 무언가를 훔칠 수 있겠습니까? 땅과 토지를 두고 싸우는 사람이 되지 마십시오. 당신은 이 세상을 소유하고 있습니다! 당신이 이 세상을 소유한다는 증거는 하나님의 말씀입니다.
고린도전서 3장 21-22절은 말합니다. “…만물이 다 너희 것임이라 바울이나 아볼로나 게바나 생명이나 사망이나 지금 것이나 장래 것이나 다 너희의 것이요” 이러한 의식을 가지십시오. “나는 이 세상을 소유하고 있다. 만물이 나의 것이다!”라고 자신감을 가지고 자주 선포하십시오. 이 선포의 효력에 관한 법적 문서는 하나님의 말씀입니다. 그러므로 누군가가 당신에게 도전해오거나 당신을 비웃더라도 문제 없습니다. 당신은 여전히 이 세상을 소유하고 있습니다.
당신은 실제로 넘치도록 풍성한 영역에 있습니다. 당신은 “은도 내 것이요 금도 내 것이라…”(학 2:8), “이는 삼림의 짐승들과 뭇 산의 가축이 다 내 것이며”(시 50:10)라고 말씀하신 분으로부터 상속받은 유업을 가지고 있습니다. 그분은 온 우주를 다스리는 분이시며, 당신은 그분의 상속자입니다.
이 세상의 모든 부, 즉 보석, 광물, 석유 그리고 사람들이 소유하고 있다고 믿는 모든 것은 사실 당신의 공동 상속자인 주님께 속했습니다. 그러므로 당신의 부는 제한이 없고, 헤아릴 수 없으며, 측량할 수 없습니다. 날마다 당신이 더없이 부유하고 축복 받았음을 선포하십시오. 할렐루야!
고백
하늘에 계신 아버지, 그리스도와 공동 상속자가 된다는 것이 얼마나 큰 축복인지요! 세상은 나에게 속했습니다. 당신이 나의 목자시니 나는 아무것도 부족하지 않습니다. 나의 부는 제한이 없으며, 헤아릴 수 없고, 측량할 수 없습니다. 나의 번영은 성령님께 속해 있으므로 끝이 없습니다. 하나님을 송축합니다!

YOU OWN THE WORLD
And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise (Galatians 3:29).
Romans 8:16-17 lets us know that as God’s children, we’re heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ. Read our opening scripture again; it says, “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” You couldn’t read this and not shout for joy, for it means you own this world. God gave the whole world to Abraham and his seed. That seed is Christ; and if you belong to Christ, you’re Abraham’s seed and therefore an heir according to the promise.
Now you can better understand why the Bible says, “Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth” (Ephesians 4:28). How could you steal when the whole world belongs to you? Don’t be among those who are fighting over lands and estates; you own this world! And the proof that you do, is the Word of God.
1 Corinthians 3:21-22 says, “…For all things are yours; Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours.” Have this consciousness. Every so often, affirm with confidence, “I own this world; all things are mine!” There’s a legal document to that effect—God’s Word. Therefore, it makes no difference if anyone challenges you or sneers at you; you still own this world.
You actually dwell in the realm of superabundance. You have an inheritance, bequeathed to you by the One who said, “The silver is mine, and the gold is mine…” (Haggai 2:8). “For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills” (Psalm 50:10).
All the wealth in this world: the precious stones, minerals, oil and everything that men believe they own, actually belong to the Lord, with whom you’re a joint�heir. Your wealth, therefore, is limitless, inestimable, and unquantifiable. Declare every day that you’re rich and blessed beyond measure. Hallelujah!
CONFESSION
Dear heavenly Father, what a blessing it is to be a joint-heir with Christ! The world belongs to me. I don’t lack anything, because you’re my Shepherd. My wealth is limitless, inestimable, and unquantifiable; my prosperity is of the Spirit; therefore, it’s unending. Blessed be God!
