하나님은 말씀을 통해 우리를 세우십니다
He Builds Us Through His Word
“또 내가 네게 이르노니 너는 베드로라 내가 이 반석 위에 내 교회를 세우리니 음부의 권세가 이기지 못하리라”(마 16:18)
이 말씀은 주님의 입으로부터 나왔습니다. 그분은 자신의 교회를 세우는 것에 대해 직접적인 책임을 지셨습니다. 주님은 어떻게 교회를 세우셨습니까? 주 예수님은 하늘에 계시지만, 성령님이 우리와 함께 또 우리 안에 계심으로 이 땅에서 주님의 사역을 이어 가고 계십니다. 그러므로 주님은 그분의 교회를 하나님의 말씀의 사역과 성령의 도움을 통해 세우십니다.
하나님의 말씀이 전부입니다. 하나님은 말씀으로 당신을 낳으셨으므로 말씀이 당신을 살아가게 합니다. 베드로전서 1:23은 말합니다. “너희가 거듭난 것은 썩어질 씨로 된 것이 아니요 썩지 아니할 씨로 된 것이니 살아 있고 항상 있는 하나님의 말씀으로 되었느니라” 야고보도 우리에게 같은 것을 말합니다. “그가 그 피조물 중에 우리로 한 첫 열매가 되게 하시려고 자기의 뜻을 따라 진리의 말씀으로 우리를 낳으셨느니라” 말씀이 당신의 생명입니다. 그러므로 당신은 세움과 공급을 받기 위해 말씀에 자신을 내어드려야 합니다.
말씀은 영과 혼과 몸 모두에서 우리의 삶을 변화시키고 세우는 유일한 재료입니다. 하나님의 말씀은 당신의 영에 들어가서 그 말씀이 말하는 바를 당신 안에 만들어 냅니다. 예를 들어 가장 첫 번째 단계인 구원의 말씀이 있습니다. 로마서 1:16은 말합니다. “내가 복음을 부끄러워하지 아니하노니 이 복음은 모든 믿는 자에게 구원을 주시는 하나님의 능력이 됨이라…” 이 구절이 말하는 바는 사람을 구원하는 하나님의 능력이 그리스도의 복음, 즉 그분의 구원의 말씀에 있다는 것입니다.
바울은 사도행전 20:32에서 말합니다. “지금 내가 여러분을 주와 및 그 은혜의 말씀에 부탁하노니 그 말씀이 여러분을 능히 든든히 세우사 거룩하게 하심을 입은 모든 자 가운데 기업이 있게 하시리라” 말씀을 공부하는 자가 되어 당신의 삶을 지속적으로 발전시키기로 결정하십시오. 이는 당신이 성공과 지속적인 승리를 경험하는 효과적인 삶을 살게 할 것입니다!
고백
복되신 아버지, 내 삶에 있는 당신의 말씀의 능력에 감사드립니다. 나는 성령 안에서 위대함과 기쁨의 삶을 위해 당신의 말씀으로 지어지고 공급받습니다. 당신의 말씀의 능력과 영광으로 지금도 나의 생각은 새로워지고 나의 삶은 변화됩니다. 할렐루야!

HE BUILDS US THROUGH HIS WORD
And I say also unto thee…I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it (Matthew 16:18).
These words above came from the very lips of the Master; He’s personally responsible for building His Church. But how’s He doing it? We know that the Lord Jesus is in heaven, but the Holy Spirit is with us, and in us, continuing His ministry here in the
earth. So, He builds His Church through the ministry or instrumentality of God’s Word.
The Word of God is everything; that’s what gave birth to you, and therefore it’s what will sustain you. 1 Peter 1:23 says, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” James tells us the same thing: “Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures” (James 1:18). The Word is your life, therefore you must yield yourself to the Word to build and nourish you. Study the Word voraciously. Meditate on the Scriptures. That way, you’re submitting yourself to the Lordship of the Word.
The Word is the only ingredient that can transform and build our lives on all three levels: spirit, soul and body. When the Word of God gets into your spirit, it produces in you what it talks about. For example, the Word of salvation, which is the very first step. Romans 1:16 says, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth….” That means God’s power
to save anyone is in the Gospel of Christ—His Word of salvation.
In Acts 20:32, Paul writes, “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.” Make the important decision to keep improving your life by being a student of the Word. It’ll cause you to have an effectual life of success and constant victories. Hallelujah!
CONFESSION
Blessed Father, thank you for the power of your Word in my life; I’m built and nourished by your Word for a life of greatness and joy in the Holy Ghost. My mind is renewed and my life transformed even now, by the power and glory of your Word. Hallelujah!
