예수님은 인간으로 사셨습니다
He Lived As A Man
“너희 안에 이 마음을 품으라 곧 그리스도 예수의 마음이니 그는 근본 하나님의 본체시나 하나님과 동등됨을 취할 것으로 여기지 아니하시고 오히려 자기를 비워 종의 형체를 가지사 사람들과 같이 되셨고” (빌 2:5-7)
예수님은 하나님의 아들이셨지만, 이 땅에서 그분의 하늘의 영광 안에 살지 않으셨습니다. 그분은 인간으로 사셨습니다. 그래서 예수님은 우리의 대리자이자 본보기가 되실 수 있었습니다. 성경은 예수님을 “사람이신 그리스도 예수라”(딤전 2:5)고 부릅니다. 그분은 사람의 모양으로 나타나셨으며, 이것이 오늘의 본문 구절에서 읽은 내용입니다.
또한 이것은 그분이 시험을 받을 수 있었던 이유입니다(마 4:1-11, 막 1:12-13, 눅 4:1-13을 읽어보십시오). 그분은 인간이었기 때문에 시험에 굴복할 수도 있었습니다. 그렇지 않았다면 진정한 시험이 아니었을 것입니다. 히브리서 4:15은 말합니다. “우리에게 있는 대제사장은 우리의 연약함을 동정하지 못하실 이가 아니요 모든 일에 우리와 똑같이 시험을 받은 이로되 죄는 없으시니라”
기억하십시오. 예수님께서 겟세마네 동산에서 기도하실 때 “내 아버지여 만일 할만하시거든 이 잔을 내게서 지나가게 하옵소서 그러나 나의 원대로 마시옵고 아버지의 원대로 하옵소서 하시고”(마 26:39) 라고 말씀하셨습니다. 예수님은 고통을 느끼셨습니다. 그분은 우리와 같이 배고프셨고(마 4:2), 음식을 드셨습니다(눅 24:42-43). 그분은 피곤하실 때 주무셨습니다(막 4:38). 그분은 금식하셨습니다(마 4:2). 그분은 하나님께 순종하기 원하셨기 때문에 육신을 복종하게 하셨습니다.
첫 번째 아담은 하나님께 불순종하여 타락했습니다. 두 번째 아담인 예수 그리스도는 하나님께 순종하기로 결단하셨습니다. 빌립보서 2:8은 말합니다. “사람의 모양으로 나타나사 자기를 낮추시고 죽기까지 복종하셨으니 곧 십자가에 죽으심이라.” 예수님은 우리에게 하나님을 기쁘시게 하는 삶을 사는 방법을 알려주고 싶으셨습니다. 그분은 우리의 본이 되셨습니다. 그분은 우리에게 하나님과 같은 생명을 보여주셨습니다. 이제 우리는 그분이 하신 것처럼 의 안에서, 상황을 다스리는 통치권 안에서, 아버지의 뜻에 절대적으로 순종하며 살 수 있습니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 내가 상황을 다스리며 항상 하나님의 목적에 맞춰 행하게 하시니 감사합니다. 나는 성령의 능력으로 예수님처럼 의 안에서 살며 모든 일에서 하나님을 기쁘시게 합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

HE LIVED AS A MAN
“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men” (Philippians 2:5-7).
Even though Jesus was the Son of God, He didn’t live on earth in His heavenly glory. He lived as a man. It’s the reason He could be our substitute and also our example. The Bible calls Him the “man, Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2:5); He was made in the likeness of men; that’s part of what we read in our opening verse.
It’s the reason He could be tempted (read Matthew 4:1-11, Mark 1:12-13, Luke 4:1-13). Being a man, it was possible for Him to yield to temptation, otherwise, it wouldn’t have been a bona fide temptation. Hebrews 4:14 says, “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”
Remember, when He prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane, He said, “…O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt” (Matthew 26:39). So, He felt pain. He was hungry like the rest of us (Matthew 4:2), and He ate food like any man would (Luke 24:42-43). He slept when He felt tired (Mark 4:38). He fasted (Matthew 4:2); He kept the flesh under subjection because He wanted to obey God.
The first Adam fell because he disobeyed God. The second Adam, Jesus Christ, made up His mind to obey God. The Bible says in Philippians 2:8, “And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.” He wanted us to know how to live and please God. He was our example; He rehearsed the God-life to us. Now we can live as He did—in righteousness, dominion over circumstances and absolute submission to the will of the Father. Glory to God!
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for making it possible for me to live in dominion over circumstances, and to walk in alignment with your purpose at all times. By the power of the Holy Spirit, I live as Jesus did, in righteousness, pleasing you in all things, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
