영원히 열매 맺고 축복받았습니다
Ever Fruitful…Ever Blessed
“가시떨기에 떨어졌다는 것은 말씀을 들은 자이나 지내는 중 이생의 염려와 재물과 향락에 기운이 막혀 온전히 결실하지 못하는 자요”(눅 8:14)
오늘의 본문 구절에 나온 “온전함”이라는 단어는 헬라어 “텔레스포레오(telesphoreo)”에서 파생되었습니다. 이 단어는 합성어이며, 성경에서는 위의 구절에만 등장합니다. 이 단어는 결실을 맺는다는 의미로, 완전히 익은 상태에 이르다 혹은 결과를 촉진시키는 성숙한 단계에 이른다는 뜻입니다.
본문 구절은 온전함에 이르는 열매를 맺지 못하는 자들에 대해 말하고 있지만, 이 구절은 우리에게 하나님의 계획과 생각을 알려줍니다. 그분은 우리가 항상 열매 맺고 생산적이기를 원하시며, 온전한 결실을 맺는 자들이 되길 원하십니다.
어떤 일을 시작하지만 절대 끝을 내지 못하는 사람들이 있습니다. 그들은 항상 중간에 그만둡니다. 그들은 결코 일을 완수하지 못합니다. 그들은 언제나 왜 자신들이 일을 마무리하지 못했는지에 대한 이유가 있습니다. 그들의 프로젝트는 도중에 중단되고 과정은 축소됩니다. 그러나 당신은 다릅니다. 당신은 열매 맺는 포도나무이므로 결실을 맺으며 당신의 프로젝트가 온전함에 이르게 합니다. 당신이 하는 일이 무엇이든지 열매 맺도록 하나님의 영이 당신 안에서 역사하십니다. 날마다 당신에 대해 이런 고백을 하십시오. 당신이 하나님의 말씀의 빛 안에서 주님과 동행한다면, 당신의 아이디어가 도중에 중단되는 것은 물론이고 심지어 육체의 임신에 있어서도 유산되는 일이 없을 것입니다. 이것은 하나님의 자녀로서 당신의 유업입니다.
말씀 안에서 주님과 동행하는 것의 또 다른 아름다운 점은, 당신이 언제든지 열매를 생산한다는 것입니다. 당신은 항상 열매 맺고 생산적입니다. “…그는 강가에 심겨진 나무 같아서 계절을 따라 열매를 맺으며, 그의 잎사귀는 마르지 아니하리니, 그가 무엇을 하든지 번성하리로다.”(시 1:1-3, 한글킹제임스) 얼마나 대단한 삶입니까! 하나님을 송축합니다!

사랑하는 아버지, 지속적으로 증가하는 영광을 주셔서 감사드립니다. 이것은 끊임없는 생산성이며 영원한 축복의 생명입니다. 그러므로 나의 계획과 프로젝트와 꿈은 결코 중단되지 않습니다. 나는 성령의 능력으로 온전한 열매를 맺습니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

EVER FRUITFUL…EVER BLESSED
And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection (Luke 8:14).
The word “perfection” in the scripture above, which is from the Greek, “telesphoreō” is a compound word, and it appears in only that verse of the Bible. It means to bring to fruition, to come to a ripened state, to come to a mature state where it triggers a result.
Incidentally, the verse above actually refers to someone who didn’t bring fruits unto perfection. But it gives us God’s plan, His idea, which is the fact that He wants us to be ever fruitful and productive—bringing our fruits to perfection.
There’re lots of people who start something and never finish. They’re always stopping in the middle of something; they just never get through. They always have a story to tell as to why they didn’t finish. Their projects are aborted, and processes truncated. But your story is different. You’re a fruitful vine, bearing fruits, and carrying your projects to perfection. Whatever it is that you do, the Spirit of God is at work in you to bring it to fruition. Affirm this about you always. As you walk with the Lord in the light of His Word, there’ll be no aborting of your ideas or even of physical pregnancy.
This is your heritage as a child of God.
Another beautiful thing about this is that you produce fruits in and out of season. You’re ever fruitful and productive, “…standing firm like a flourishing tree planted by God’s design, deeply rooted by the brooks of bliss, bearing fruit in every season…never dry, never fainting, ever blessed, ever prosperous”(Psalm 1:3 TPT). What a life! Blessed be God!

Dear Father, I thank you for giving me a life of ever�increasing glory; a life of blessings evermore and consistent productivity. There’s no abortion of my plans, projects and dreams; I carry them to fruition, producing results to perfection, by the power of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
