Cut Off Satanic Influences

사도행전 13장은 사탄이 복음을 어떻게 대적하려고 하는지, 특히 복음이 지도자의 위치에 있는 사람들에게 전해질 때 어떻게 대적하는지에 대해 명확하게 보여줍니다. 사도행전 13장 6절에서는 사울(바울)과 바나바가 바보 섬을 지나며 복음을 전할 때의 예시를 볼 수 있습니다. 성경은 총독 서기오 바울을 “지혜 있는 사람”이라고 묘사하며, 그가 하나님의 말씀을 듣고 싶어 바나바와 사울(바울)을 불렀다고 말합니다(행 13:7). 그는 예수 그리스도에 대해 더 알고 싶어 했습니다.

성경은 말합니다. “바울이라고 하는 사울이 성령이 충만하여 그를 주목하고 이르되 모든 거짓과 악행이 가득한 자요 마귀의 자식이요 모든 의의 원수여 주의 바른 길을 굽게 하기를 그치지 아니하겠느냐”(행 13:9-10) 바울은 의심이나 감정으로 말한 것이 아닙니다. 그는 성령님이 주신 영감으로 말했습니다. 바울은 그가 진짜 어떤 사람인지 말했습니다. 그는 마귀의 자식이며 모든 의의 원수였습니다.
많은 세계 지도자들은 그들 주변에 진리로부터 그들을 혼란스럽게 하고 하나님의 말씀을 듣지 못하게 하는 사람들이 있습니다. 그래서 우리는 열방의 지도자들이 그러한 영향을 받지 않도록 기도로 그들을 지켜야 합니다.

CUT OFF SATANIC INFLUENCES

“And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Bar-jesus” (Acts 13:6).

Acts 13 gives us a clear picture of how Satan tries to resist the Gospel, especially when it’s about to reach those in positions of leadership. An example is seen in Acts 13:6 when Saul (Paul) and Barnabas went through the Isle of Paphos, preaching the Gospel. The proconsul, Sergius Paulus, whom the Bible describes as “a prudent man,” desired to hear the Word of God and sent for Barnabas and Saul (Paul) (Acts 13:7). He wanted to know more about Jesus Christ.
But there was someone closely associated with him who wouldn’t let that happen; Acts 13:6-8 the Amplified Classic version reveals it: “When they had passed through the entire island of Cyprus as far as Paphos, they came upon a certain Jewish wizard or sorcerer, a false prophet named Bar-Jesus. He was closely associated with the proconsul, Sergius Paulus, who was an intelligent and sensible man of sound understanding; he summoned to him Barnabas and Saul and sought to hear the Word of God [concerning salvation in the kingdom of God attained through Christ]. But Elymas the wise man–for that is the translation of his name [which he had given himself]–opposed them, seeking to keep the proconsul from accepting the faith.” He resisted and tried to stop the leader from receiving the Word.
Then the Bible says, “…Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him, and said O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord” (Acts 13:9-10)? Paul wasn’t speaking by suspicion or emotion; he spoke by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. He called him who he truly was: a child of the devil, an enemy of all righteousness.
Many world leaders have such people around them who distract them from the truth and keep them from hearing the Word of God. This is why we take our stand in prayer, to cut off such influences from the leaders of nations.
Every so often, in praying for the leaders of nations, governments and institutions of this world, declare that the counsels of the “Elymases” of this world are frustrated and silenced; cut off their influence from the leaders. Pray that all around the world, the hearts of presidents, kings, governors, lawmakers, and decision-makers are open to hear and receive the Word of God and the Gospel is producing results in their lives.
Pray also that the Spirit grants them discernment to recognise deception, and that righteous influences surround them, creating access for the Gospel to be preached, received freely, and spread rapidly all around the world. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
The Word of God prevails in the hearts of leaders and decision makers across the nations today. Every Satanic influence to resist the Gospel and turn them away from the truth is cut off by the power of the Holy Spirit. God’s wisdom and righteousness dominate the nations, and His truth is established without resistance, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

어제 말씀의 실재에서 우리는 다윗의 아들 압살롬이 어떻게 그의 아버지 다윗을 상대로 강력한 음모를 꾸몄는지 보았습니다. 아히도벨은 하나님으로부터 말하는 자로 크게 존경받았지만, 압살롬의 편에 서서 다윗을 대적하는 음모에 힘을 더했습니다. 그 결과, 다윗은 주님께 아히도벨의 지혜를 어리석음으로 바꿔 달라고 기도했습니다.

HE ALWAYS PRESERVES HIS PURPOSE

“And one told David, saying, Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O LORD, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness” (2 Samuel 15:31).

In our previous study, we referenced how Absalom, David’s son, led a strong conspiracy against David, his father. Ahithophel was greatly revered as one who spoke from God, but he joined Absalom’s camp, strengthening the conspiracy against David even further. As a result, David prayed to the Lord to turn Ahithophel’s wisdom to foolishness.
But something remarkable followed David’s prayer. The Bible says David went up to the top of the mount where he worshipped God, and right there, Hushai the Archite came to meet him. God’s answer showed up in the form of a man, a strategic placement.
David immediately understood what that meant and what to do. He told Hushai to return to the city and present himself to Absalom as a servant, just as he had served Him, David. The purpose was clear: Hushai would be positioned where he could counter and defeat the counsel of Ahithophel from within Absalom’s camp.
This is a striking picture of how God preserves His purpose. Even when satanic strategies rise through subtle counsellors, God has His own people, His own instruments of wisdom and righteousness who can frustrate and dismantle those plots.
Thus, if you’re a leader, it matters who’s in your cabinet or inner circle, those who have access and can influence your decisions. They must be those who stand as voices for righteousness and truth; those who’ll cause God’s purpose to prevail and keep prevailing in our world.
God, in His wisdom, always has His “Hushais” among the leaders of nations; men and women positioned by the Spirit to frustrate wicked counsel, and ensure that the will of God is done. Always pray that the leaders recognize these men and women He has positioned strategically to help them preserve righteousness and advance His purpose in the nations. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, your wisdom and righteousness prevails in the nations, as your children uphold the truth of the Gospel and establish righteousness around the world. Your will is done in the earth, and your dominion spreads unhindered, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT IN LEADERSHIP

“And the counsel of Ahithophel, which he counselled in those days, was as if a man had enquired at the oracle of God: so was all the counsel of Ahithophel both with David and with Absalom” (2 Samuel 16:23).

Scripture repeatedly warns us about the danger of bad counsel. The Bible reveals this in the story of Ahithophel, a man whose counsel carried such weight that it was regarded as though one had inquired at the oracle of God (2 Samuel 16:23).
He was esteemed, trusted, and relied upon, not only by David but later also by Absalom. Yet, despite his reputation, he became a part of an evil conspiracy. When Absalom rebelled against his father, David, the conspiracy gained strength, and the people increased continually with Absalom (2 Samuel 15:12). In the midst of that uprising, Ahithophel joined himself to Absalom.
Then the report reached David: “Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom” (2 Samuel 15:31). The presence of Ahithophel in Absalom’s camp meant strategic advantage, because his counsel was powerful, persuasive, and influential. But David didn’t panic or try to outmanoeuvre Ahithophel by human strategy. He simply prayed, “O LORD, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness” (2 Samuel 15:31).
That prayer reveals a vital truth: no matter how intelligent a counsel appears, if it’s aligned against God’s purpose, it can be defeated. This is why discernment is essential for leaders. Not every voice around leaders is sent to help. Some counsellors present themselves as wise, but their intent is to mislead, divide, and destroy.
They push out the good, speak against the righteous, and attempt to plant ideas that weaken what God is building. But they’re not beyond the reach of divine judgment. The Lord can expose them, silence them, and turn their wisdom into foolishness.
As Christians, we must understand and take advantage of our authority in Christ to affect nations and their leaders, families, and destinies. Therefore, always pray with understanding, that those in authority may be guided by truth, surrounded by righteous counsel, and strengthened to fulfil God’s purpose. Pray that the Spirit of God will continually grant them discernment to identify and prevail over deceptive agendas, and walk in the wisdom of God. Praise God!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the wisdom of your Spirit at work in me and in your Church. I pray for leaders in nations and institutions, that they be surrounded with righteous counsel and guided by truth. Every deceptive influence is exposed, and every counsel that opposes your purpose is turned into foolishness. Your wisdom prevails, and your will is established in the earth, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

그러자 사탄은 “너희가 결코 죽지 아니하리라”(창 3:4)고 대답했습니다. 그는 하나님께 정면으로 반박했습니다. 그러나 그것으로 끝나지 않았습니다. 다음 구절은 사탄이 계속해서 말한 더 깊은 내용을 드러냅니다. “너희가 그것을 먹는 날에는 너희 눈이 밝아져 하나님과 같이 되어 선악을 알 줄 하나님이 아심이니라”(창 3:5)
사탄은 하나님의 말씀을 반박하며 그분을 속임수의 신으로 고발했습니다. 오늘날에도 마찬가지입니다. 속임수의 대가들은 다른 사람들을 잘못된 정보로 비난합니다. 사탄은 하나님을 잘못된 정보로 비난했습니다. 사탄은 하나님이 “진짜 진리”를 알고 계셨지만 아담과 하와에게 숨기셨다고 말했습니다. 속임수의 대가가 진실을 말하는 척한 것입니다.

GUARD AGAINST DECEPTION

“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ” (2 Corinthians 11:3).

Genesis chapter 3 exposes a recurring and dangerous pattern of deception that has persisted throughout history. It begins with Eve faithfully recounting to Satan what God had said about the tree of knowledge of good and evil that was in the garden of Eden: “We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God had said, You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die” (Genesis 3:2–3).
Then Satan responded, “Ye shall not surely die…” (Genesis 3:4). He contradicted God directly. But it didn’t end there. The next verse reveals something deeper as Satan continues, “For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof then your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be as gods, knowing good and evil” (Genesis 3:5).
With that statement, Satan moved from contradicting God to accusing Him of deception. It’s the same thing today; those who are masters of deception accuse others of misinformation. Satan accused God of misinformation. His suggestion was that God knew the “real truth” but withheld it from Adam and Eve. This is the master of deception pretending to tell the truth.
This pattern of satanic manipulation of truth through subtlety echoes in other biblical narratives. For example, in 2 Samuel 13, we see a similar deception at play. The story began with Amnon, the son of King David who developed a lustful obsession for his sister Tamar.
The Septuagint clarified that this was a lust-driven love, not genuine affection. His obsession intensified, and he became sick with longing. The danger emerged when Amnon’s friend Jonadab, described as “a very subtle man,” intervened. Jonadab was a cunning advisor who manipulated Amnon into destructive actions that ultimately led to tragedy and death.
You must guard your heart against deception by staying with what God has said in His Word. Refuse Satan’s contradictions and perverted truths. Reject every voice that questions the veracity of God’s Word. When your heart is established in God’s truths, you become unmovable, discerning, and protected. You recognise deception for what it is, and you remain grounded in the integrity of God’s Word.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for your Word that keeps me established in truth. My heart is guarded by your wisdom, and I walk in discernment by the Holy Spirit, who secures my path in your light, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

방금 읽은 본문 구절에서 사도 요한은 “자녀들”, 즉 영적으로 어린 사람들과 죄를 연관시켰다는 점에 주목하십시오. 그러나 많은 사람이 “모든 사람은 죄를 짓는다”고 말하며 죄는 피할 수 없는 것처럼 말합니다. 그렇지 않습니다! 성경은 “하나님께로부터 난 자마다 죄를 짓지 아니하나니…”(요일 3:9)라고 말합니다.
또한 성경은 죄를 인간의 관점이 아닌 하나님의 관점에서 설명하고 정의합니다. 당신이 인간의 눈으로 죄를 본다면 결코 그리스도 안에 있는 자신의 최고의 잠재력까지 성장할 수 없습니다. 우리가 살고 있는 이 땅은 죄와 정죄로 가득 차 있습니다. 인간은 반역적인 불순종의 행위로 인해 본질상 죄인이 되었습니다.
로마서 5장 12절은 말합니다. “그러므로 한 사람으로 말미암아 죄가 세상에 들어오고 죄로 말미암아 사망이 들어왔나니 이와 같이 모든 사람이 죄를 지었으므로 사망이 모든 사람에게 이르렀느니라” 이것이 바로 주 예수님께서 오셔서 우리를 대신한 그분의 대속적 희생으로 단번에 죄 문제를 해결하신 이유입니다. 두 번째 아담이신 예수님은 우리를 위해 죄가 되셨고, 죄인이 아니셨습니다. 그분은 죄에 대한 모든 형벌을 치르시고 우리를 죄의 영향력에서 자유케 하셨습니다.
거듭난 오늘날, 죄는 당신을 지배하지 못합니다(롬 6:14). 고린도후서 5장 21절은 말합니다. “하나님이 죄를 알지도 못하신 이를 우리를 대신하여 죄로 삼으신 것은 우리로 하여금 그 안에서 하나님의 의가 되게 하려 하심이라” 따라서 성경이 “하나님께로부터 난 자는 다 범죄하지 아니하는 줄을 우리가 아노라”(요일 5:18)라고 말할 때, 이는 그분으로부터 태어난 당신이 죄를 짓지 않는 그분의 생명과 본성을 가지고 있기 때문입니다. 이것이 바로 그리스도 안에 있는 새로운 피조물의 생명입니다!

LITTLE CHILDREN, YOUNG MEN AND FATHERS

“I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake. I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one” (1 John 2:12-13).

Notice that in the scripture we just read, the Apostle John only associated sin with “little children,” spiritual toddlers. Yet, many speak as though sin is inevitable for everyone, saying, “Everybody sins”; no! The Bible says, “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin…” (1 John 3:9).
Moreover, the Bible describes sin and defines sin from God’s perspective, not man’s perspective. If you look at sin through the eyes of men, you’ll never rise to your best potential in Christ. The earth around us is thick with sin and condemnation. Man became a sinner in nature, after his actions of treasonable disobedience.
Romans 5:12 says, “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.” It’s the reason the Lord Jesus came and solved the sin-problem once and for all through His vicarious sacrifice in our behalf. As the second Adam, He became sin for us, not a sinner, and therefore paid the full penalty for sin, ridding us of its effects.
Today, being born again, sin has no dominion over you (Romans 6:14). 2 Corinthians 5:21 says, “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” So, when the Bible says, “Whoever has been born of God does not sin” (1 John 3:9 NKJV), it’s because being born of Him, you have His life and nature that doesn’t sin. That’s the life of the new creation in Christ!
What if you sin? While that shows you’re still a child, he already said to the children, “Your sins are forgiven for His Name sake.” But better than that, He also made provision for your automatic cleansing: “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin” (1 John 1:7 NKJV).
Knowing and walking in the light of God’s Word is the key. It shows you’ve matured spiritually. That’s the life of the fathers; walking in the light of your righteousness—in the light of who you are in Christ—above sin, Satan and the elements of this world. Praise God!

CONFESSION
I have the life and nature of God in me; I live the higher life in Christ. I walk in strength, victory, and righteousness. I walk in the light of my identity and heritage in Christ, above sin, Satan and the elements of this world. Glory to God!

It’s The Same Anointing

“우리를 너희와 함께 그리스도 안에서 굳건하게 하시고 우리에게 기름을 부으신 이는 하나님이시니 그가 또한 우리에게 인치시고 보증으로 우리 마음에 성령을 주셨느니라” (고후 1:21-22)

우리에게는 여러 차이점이 있지만, 그 차이점이 성령의 하나되심을 무효화하지 않습니다. 차이점은 믿음, 부르심, 은사, 은혜, 직분에 있습니다. 우리의 부르심은 다릅니다. 우리의 은사는 다릅니다. 하나님께서는 다양한 은혜를 주시고, 전도자, 선지자 등 다양한 직분을 주셨습니다. 그러나 동일한 성령의 기름부음이 역사하고 있습니다.
성령을 받았을 때, 당신은 그리스도의 기름부음을 받았습니다. 따라서 당신은 성령을 받을 때 받은 기름부음보다 더 큰 기름부음이 필요하지 않습니다. 고린도후서 1장 21절은 말합니다. “우리를 너희와 함께 그리스도 안에서 굳건하게 하시고 우리에게 기름을 부으신 이는 하나님이시니”

IT’S THE SAME ANOINTING

“Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts” (2 Corinthians 1:21–22).

There are differences among us, but they don’t cancel the oneness of the Spirit. The differences are in faith, calling, gifts, grace, and office. Our callings are different. Our gifts differ. God gives different graces, and there’re different offices, whether evangelist, prophet, or otherwise. Yet, it’s the same anointing of the Holy Spirit at work.
When you received the Holy Spirit, you were anointed with the anointing of the Christ. Therefore, you’ll never need a greater anointing than the one you received when you received the Holy Spirit. 2 Corinthians 1:21 says, “Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God.”
Some think you can be anointed with the Holy Spirit and then later be anointed with power, but it’s not true. It is one and the same thing. The language of Paul, like the language of the prophet Isaiah, often uses two expressions for the same reality. So, when the Bible says, for example, in Acts 10:38 that God anointed the Lord Jesus with the Holy Ghost and with power, it’s not dealing with two separate things.
When you’re anointed with the Holy Ghost, you’re anointed with power. Acts 1:8, the words of the Master, “Ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you….” He had said in Luke 24:49, referring to the same Holy Ghost experience they were going to have, “Tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” This means the coming of the Holy Ghost is the enduement with power.
When you received the Holy Spirit, you were separated unto Him and consecrated with the anointing of the Christ. He empowered you to do the work of God and to live for Him. He opened your understanding to Kingdom realities and enabled you to walk in the wisdom of God. O, the blessedness of being filled with the Holy Ghost!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the anointing of the Holy Spirit that I have received. I walk in the consciousness of the grace and power of the Spirit at work in and through me. I’m empowered to live for you and fulfil your purpose. I function in the power and wisdom of the Spirit for the work of the Kingdom. Through me, your graces and blessings are ministered to others, and your glory is manifested in every place, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

주 예수님이 진정 어떤 분이신지 알기 전까지는 그분을 섬기거나 그분과 동행할 수 없습니다. 그분이 당신에게 정의되지 않은 “하나님의 아들”로 남아있는 한, 그분은 추상적인 존재로 남아있을 것이며, 당신은 그분과 올바르게 관계를 맺을 수 없을 것입니다.
많은 사람이 예수님을 부르는 방식은 그들이 무엇을 알고 있는지 드러냅니다. 예수님에 대해 말하는 것과 예수님께 말하는 것에는 차이가 있습니다. 예수님에 대해 말할 때는 “예수님”이라고 말할 수 있지만, 그분께 말할 때는 주님이라고 불러야 합니다.

주님께서 “나는 네가 박해하는 예수라”(행 9:5)고 대답하셨을 때, 사울은 그분을 아무렇게나 부르며 대답하지 않았습니다. 그때부터 사울은 그분을 주님으로 대했습니다. 동일한 진리는 요한의 경험에서도 볼 수 있습니다. 요한계시록 1장 17절은 말합니다. “내가 볼 때에 그의 발 앞에 엎드러져 죽은 자 같이 되매”
이것은 영광스럽게 된 그리스도였습니다. 능력이 나타났고 요한은 그 능력 아래 쓰러졌습니다. 그러자 주님께서 요한에게 오른손을 얹으시고 축복의 말씀을 하셨습니다. “두려워하지 말라 나는 처음이요 마지막이니”(계 1:17)
당신이 그분을 주님으로 인식할 때, 그분과의 교제가 더 풍성해집니다. 당신의 경외심이 깊어집니다. 그분의 영광에 대한 인식이 증가합니다. 그리고 몇 마디의 말로도 당신의 기도가 강력해진다는 것을 발견합니다. 그분이 진정 어떤 분이신지 알기 때문입니다. 그분은 주 예수 그리스도이십니다.

KNOW AND WORSHIP HIM AS LORD

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Romans 10:9).

Until you come to terms with who the Lord Jesus really is, you can’t serve Him or walk with Him. As long as He is to you “the Son of God” without a definition, it remains abstract, and you won’t relate with Him rightly.
Even the way many address Him reveals what they know. There’s a difference between talking about Him and talking to Him. You can say “Jesus” when you’re talking about Him, but when you’re talking to Him, you address Him as Lord.
After His resurrection and ascension, no one ever addressed Him casually as Jesus, but as Lord Jesus. When you know Him, you recognise His lordship. Some people say Jesus appeared to them, but if they truly saw Him, there would be a change in their reverence and honour.
Saul of Tarsus had an encounter on the road to Damascus. A light struck him down, and he heard a voice calling his name: “Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?” (Acts 9:4). His response was immediate: “Who art thou, Lord?” (Acts 9:5). He recognised that the One who manifested such power could only be Lord.
When the Lord answered, “I am Jesus whom thou persecutest” (Acts 9:5), Saul didn’t respond by addressing Him casually. From then on, he related to Him as Lord. The same truth is seen in the experience of John. In Revelation 1:17, he says, “And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead” (Revelation 1:17).
This was the glorified Christ. Power was present, and John fell under that manifestation. Then the Lord laid His right hand upon him and spoke words of blessing: “Fear not; I am the first and the last” (Revelation 1:17).
When you recognise Him as Lord, your fellowship with Him becomes richer. Your reverence deepens. Your consciousness of His glory increases. And you discover that even with a few words, your prayer becomes full of power, because you’re relating with Him as He truly is: the Lord Jesus Christ.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for unveiling to me the reality of the lordship of Jesus Christ. I honour Him with reverence, and I relate with Him with the consciousness of His glory, majesty, and authority. My fellowship with Him is deep and rich, and I walk in the power of His Name and the dominion of His Kingdom, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The Incontrovertible Certainty Of His Deity

많은 사람은 만약 그들이 주 예수님이 이 땅에 계실 때 그분을 육신으로 보았다면 즉시 그분을 알아보고 사랑했을 것이라고 생각합니다. 그러나 성경은 놀라운 사실을 알려줍니다. 그분을 대면한 사람들이 자동적으로 그분을 믿은 것은 아니었습니다. 바리새인, 사두개인, 서기관들은 그분의 사역을 보고, 그분의 말씀을 듣고, 그분의 기적을 목격했지만 여전히 그분의 정체성을 거부했습니다.
선지자 이사야는 이미 이렇게 예언했습니다. “…고운 모양도 없고 풍채도 없은즉 우리가 보기에 흠모할 만한 아름다운 것이 없도다”(사 53:2). 주 예수님은 사람들로 하여금 그분의 신성을 인정하도록 만드는 외모를 가지고 오시지 않았습니다. 많은 사람이 그분의 주장에 대해 시험에 드는 것은 이상한 일이 아니었습니다.
이러한 사실은 예수님이 체포되신 상황에서도 분명하게 드러납니다. 유다는 제사장들의 하속들에게 예수님을 표시로 알려줘야 했습니다. 주님은 겉으로 보기에 제자들과 구별되지 않았기 때문입니다(마 26:48-49). 예수님의 영향력은 널리 알려졌지만, 그분의 외모는 그분을 무리와 구별시키지 못했습니다.
유대 지도자들은 예수님의 출처를 알지 못한다고 주장하며 그분의 메시지를 거부했습니다(요 9:29). 그들은 맹인이 태어날 때부터 눈이 멀었던 사람의 기적을 본 후에도 진리보다 불신앙을 택했습니다. 치유받은 사람의 간증은 분명했지만, 그들은 경멸로 반응하며 그를 완전히 무시했습니다(요 9:30-34).
그러나 예수님은 그분이 주장하신 대로 진정 하나님의 아들이셨습니다. 예수님은 인간의 몸 안에 있는 영생이셨습니다. 그분은 인간의 몸 안에 거하시는 하나님의 사랑이셨습니다. 더욱 충격적인 사실은 예수님을 거절한 사람들이 종교 지도자들만이 아니었다는 것입니다. 예수님의 가족들도 그분을 거절했습니다. 성경은 “이는 그 형제들까지도 예수를 믿지 아니함이러라”(요 7:5)고 분명히 말합니다.
그러나 이러한 반응 중 그 어떤 것도 예수님의 정체성을 바꾸지 못했습니다. 예수님은 하나님이시며, 길이시며, 진리이시며, 생명이시며, 모든 사람을 비추는 참 빛이셨습니다. 그리스도에 대한 확신은 겉으로 보이는 인상에 근거하는 것이 아니라 영적인 실재에 근거합니다.
예수님의 신성에 대한 확신은 불변하며 논쟁의 여지가 없습니다. 예수님은 그분이 주장하신 그대로입니다. 그리스도, 참 하나님, 영원한 생명이십니다. 당신이 계시로 말미암아 예수님을 알 때, 당신의 확신은 견고해지고, 당신의 믿음은 흔들리지 않게 되며, 당신의 삶은 그분의 주되심에 대한 살아있는 증거가 됩니다.

THE INCONTROVERTIBLE CERTAINTY OF HIS DEITY

“And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life” (1 John 5:20).

Many assume that if they had seen the Lord Jesus physically, when He walked the earth, they would have recognised Him instantly and loved Him immediately. Yet, the Scriptures reveal something striking: those who saw Him face to face didn’t automatically believe in Him. The Pharisees, Sadducees, and scribes watched His ministry, heard His words, and witnessed His miracles, but still rejected His identity.
The prophet Isaiah already prophesied, saying, “…he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him” (Isaiah 53:2). The Lord Jesus didn’t come with outward features that compelled men to acknowledge His deity. No wonder many stumbled at His claims.
This is evident even in the circumstances of His arrest. Judas had to identify Him to the priests’ officers with a sign, because the Master wasn’t visually distinct from His disciples (Matthew 26:48–49). Though His influence was widely known, His appearance didn’t separate Him from the crowd.
The Jewish leaders insisted they didn’t know His origin, and therefore refused His message (John 9:29). Even after the miracle of the man born blind, they chose unbelief over truth. The healed man’s testimony was clear, yet they answered him with contempt and dismissed him completely (John 9:30–34).
Yet, Jesus was truly the Son of God as He claimed. He was eternal life encased in a human body. He was God’s love tabernacled in a human body. Even more sobering is the fact that His rejection didn’t come only from religious leaders. It was present in His own household. The Bible states plainly, “For neither did his brethren believe in him” (John 7:5).
Nonetheless, none of these reactions changed His identity. He was, and remains, God, the Way, the Truth, the Life, and the True Light that lights all men. The certainty of Christ is not built on outward impressions but on spiritual reality.
The certainty of His deity is immutable and incontrovertible. He’s exactly who He claimed to be; the Christ, the true God and eternal life. When you know Him by revelation, your conviction becomes firm, your faith becomes unshakable, and your life becomes a living testimony of His lordship.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for unveiling Christ to my heart by your Spirit. My conviction is established in the truth of who the Lord Jesus is, and I walk in the certainty of His lordship and divine identity. My faith is strengthened, my understanding is enlightened, and I live as a bold witness of this reality, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The Complete Revelation Of God’s Love

“사랑하지 아니하는 자는 하나님을 알지 못하나니 이는 하나님은 사랑이심이라” (요일 4:8)

많은 사람이 사랑에 대해 자신만의 정의를 가지고 있습니다. 사랑이라는 단어는 예수님이 오시기 전부터 존재했기 때문입니다. 사람들은 이 단어를 일상적으로 사용했습니다. 이 단어는 예수님이 오셨을 때 만들어진 것이 아닙니다. 그리스어로 사랑은 “아가페”로 번역되며 이미 알려진 단어였습니다. 그들은 일상 대화에서 이 단어를 사용했기 때문에 이미 사랑에 대한 자신만의 생각을 가지고 있었습니다.
그러나 주 예수 그리스도는 하나님의 사랑에 대한 참된 정의이십니다. 예수님은 이 땅에 계실 때 눈에 보이는 하나님의 사랑의 표현이자 나타남이셨습니다. 성경은 하나님이 사랑이시라고 말합니다. 그 사랑은 인간의 육신 안에 거하셨고, 예수님을 통해 우리에게 나타났습니다. 예수님이 이 땅에 계실 때, 그분은 사랑으로 행하시고, 말씀하시고, 만지시고, 삶을 변화시키셨습니다.
예수님은 성전에 들어가 설교하실 때, 하나님의 사랑을 설교하셨습니다. 예수님은 아픈 사람들을 고치실 때, 하나님의 사랑으로 그들을 치유하셨습니다. 예수님이 채찍을 만드시고 성전에서 돈 바꾸는 사람들의 상을 뒤집으셨을 때도 하나님의 사랑이 나타난 것입니다.
이것에 대해 오해하지 마십시오. 당신이 인간적으로 정의한 사랑이 하나님의 사랑을 결정할 수 없습니다. 예수 그리스도는 하나님의 사랑이 육신으로 우리에게 임하신 것입니다. 요한복음 1장 14절은 말합니다. “말씀이 육신이 되어 우리 가운데 거하시매 우리가 그의 영광을 보니 아버지의 독생자의 영광이요 은혜와 진리가 충만하더라”

THE COMPLETE REVELATION OF GOD’S LOVE

“He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love” (1 John 4:8).

Many people have their own definition of love, because the word love has been there even before Jesus came. People used it in their daily language. It was not created when Jesus arrived. Even in the Greek expression, love, which is translated “agape,” was a known word; they used it in their daily conversations, so they already had their idea of love.
But the Lord Jesus Christ is the true definition of God’s love. He was the visible manifestation and expression of the love of God when He walked the earth. The Bible says God is love; that love was tabernacled in human flesh and manifested to us in the person of the Jesus. When He walked the earth, it was love walking, talking, touching and changing lives.
When He entered the temple and preached, He was God’s love preaching. When He healed the sick, He was God’s love healing them. Even when He made whips and overturned the tables of the money changers in the temple, that was God’s love in manifestation.
Make no mistakes about it: your human definition of love will never decide for God what love is. Jesus Christ was God’s love come to us in the flesh. John 1:14 says, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
Fully God and fully man, He embodied everything love is. Therefore, to know love, you must know the Lord Jesus. To understand love, you must see it through Him. He is the perfect and complete revelation of God’s love to humanity.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for revealing your love to me in Christ Jesus. I walk in the consciousness of your love, expressing it with wisdom, truth, and power. My life reflects the love of Christ in action, bringing healing, righteousness, and transformation to my world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

성경은 창세기 37장부터 50장까지 요셉의 삶, 즉 밑바닥에서 궁전으로 가는 여정과 그의 삶에 임한 하나님의 축복에 대한 아름다운 이야기를 들려줍니다. 요셉은 형제들에 의해 노예로 팔려갔고, 나중에 보디발의 집안 관리를 맡게 되었을 때 새로운 기회를 얻은 것처럼 보였습니다.

많은 사람이 아직 이해하지 못한 진리가 있습니다. 당신의 직업이 중요한 것이 아닙니다. 당신 안에 있는 그리스도의 축복이 중요합니다. 그리스도 안에서 당신이 누구인지 이해할 때, 당신의 위치는 당신을 제한할 수 없습니다. 당신 안에 있는 축복은 당신이 어디에 있든지 드러날 것입니다. 당신은 아브라함의 씨이며, 축복의 운반자이자 전달자입니다. 축복은 당신을 생산적이고, 탁월하고, 번영하게 만듭니다. 하나님을 찬양합니다!

IT’S ABOUT THE BLESSING IN YOU

“And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian” (Genesis 39:2).

The Bible tells us a beautiful story in Genesis chapter 37 through 50, which recounts the life of Joseph, his journey from the pit to the palace, and the blessings of God upon his life. Having been sold by his brothers into slavery, he was later brought into what looked like a new opportunity when he became a housekeeper in Potiphar’s home.
Nevertheless, Joseph never lost consciousness of his identity. He knew he was Jacob’s son, the seed of Abraham; therefore, he refused to see himself as a victim of circumstances. That understanding shaped the way he lived and worked. Even in menial assignments, Joseph distinguished himself. He functioned with a difference. He carried himself as one who was blessed, and that blessing was evident in everything he did.
His excellence couldn’t be ignored, and his life stood out so distinctly that even Potiphar’s wife sought to seduce him. But Joseph refused her advances, recognising both the integrity required of him and the honour of his master’s trust. Regardless of the pressure from Potiphar’s wife for him to compromise, Joseph chose righteousness and fled.
His decision led to a false accusation and imprisonment. He was condemned despite his innocence. Yet, the prison didn’t redefine him. Joseph didn’t forget who he was and the blessing on his life continued to produce results. Right there in prison, he became a source of encouragement, giving hope to others and functioning with wisdom and grace until he was entrusted with leadership among the prisoners.
Then, by God’s design, Pharaoh required an interpretation of a dream, and Joseph was brought out from confinement. In a moment, the one who had been sold as a slave and treated as a criminal was elevated to become the prime minister of Egypt. His location changed, but the blessing had been consistent all along.
This is the truth many have not yet understood: it’s not about your job; it’s about the blessing of Christ in you. When you understand who you are in Christ, your location cannot limit you. The blessing in you will speak wherever you are. You’re the seed of Abraham, a carrier and dispenser of the blessing. The blessing makes you productive, excellent, and prosperous. Praise God!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the blessing of Christ at work in me. I walk in the consciousness of who I am, and I function with excellence everywhere I go. Your blessing makes me productive and prosperous, and I am a source of hope and answers to my world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
