당신이 그리스도 안에 들어올 때, 당신은 영생, 의, 그분 안에 있는 당신의 정체성 등과 같은 신성한 실재를 접하게 됩니다. 그러나 이러한 실재는 공부하고, 이해하고, 의식적으로 살아야 합니다. 당신이 그것에 대해 들었거나 읽었다고 해서 자동으로 당신의 경험이 되는 것은 아닙니다. 당신은 더 많이 알기 위해 성경을 공부해야 합니다.

THE PURSUIT OF DIVINE KNOWLEDGE

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15).

When you come into Christ, you’re introduced to such divine realities as eternal life, righteousness, your identity in Him, etc. But these realities must be studied, understood and consciously lived. They don’t automatically become your experience simply because you’ve heard or read about them. You have to study the Scriptures to know more.
There’s a responsibility placed on you to search, to understand, and to live the truth, and the Word of God is truth (John 17:17). The Bible says, “Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD” (Hosea 6:3). No wonder the Apostle Paul prayed, “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ…may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him” (Ephesians 1:17).
This shows that knowing God and His truths is progressive. There’s depth, and you have to constantly search the Scriptures as the Lord said, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life…” (John 5:39). Consider the importance of eternal life. The Bible says, “…. God hath given to us eternal life…” (1 John 5:11).
If this is the life you’ve received, then it’s vital to understand it, how it functions, and how to live it. The same applies to righteousness. The Word declares, “For he hath made him to be sin for us…that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (2 Corinthians 5:21). These are profound realities that must be studied, understood, and lived from God’s perspective.
Christianity calls you into depth, knowledge, understanding, and application. You don’t follow assumptions; you grow and live consciously by the Word of God. When you study the Word, you’re not merely gathering information but discovering who you are. You’re building your spirit. You’re discovering the life in you and learning how to function in the realities of the Kingdom.
This removes uncertainty, eliminates confusion, and establishes you in God’s truths. You become confident, effective, and productive in your walk with Him. Therefore, go beyond sense-knowledge and surface-level understanding of the Word of God. Do a deep study. Make full proof of the life God has given you by knowing more about it, understanding it, and living it every day.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the privilege of knowing you through Your Word. As I study, you grant me insight, understanding, and revelation. I grow in the knowledge of eternal life, righteousness, and my identity in Christ, and I walk in the fullness of the blessings of the Gospel, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

IF YOU HAVE JESUS, YOU HAVE LIFE

“And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son” (1 John 5:11).

Christianity is the unveiling of a present reality: Christ in you; His life, glory, righteousness, wisdom, dominion and grace unveiled and revealed in and through you. This is real. Christianity isn’t a religion. It’s the very life and nature of God imparted to you in Christ and lived through the power of the Holy Spirit.
This life isn’t something you’re going to get when you get to heaven. The Apostle John states it as a present truth in our opening scripture: “God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.” Then he continues in the 12th verse, “He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” This is absolute.
You can’t have eternal life any other way. If you have Jesus, you have it. Read His words in John 17:3 “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” He had said earlier in John 5:24, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
Then He made a most profound declaration in the 26th verse, “For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself.” This helps to understand why Jesus is Himself, eternal life, and the only One who can give it: “…we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life” (1 John 5:20).
Remember His words in John 14:6, “…I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Being born again, you’ve come to the Father through Jesus Christ and have received His life. Therefore, be ever conscious of His divine life in you (1 John 5:13). Let it go beyond doctrine to consciousness and experience. Eternal life is what makes you superior to Satan and the limitations of this world. It’s why you have the capacity to live above sin, sickness and death, and live from God instead of trying to reach Him.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the reality of eternal life in me. I don’t live by assumptions but by the truth of your Word. I walk in the consciousness of this divine life, expressing your nature and manifesting your glory, righteousness, grace and truth, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

ABOVE THE ELEMENTS OF THIS WORLD

“Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances?” (Colossians 2:20).

As a child of God, you’re not subject to the elements of this world. This isn’t mere rhetoric; it’s the revelation of your nature and position in Christ. The Bible says you’re dead with Christ to the rudiments, the elemental principles of this world. That means they don’t govern you; you reign over them.
Always remember that being born again, you’re not of this world. You’re superior to Satan and the disabling influences of this world. You’re not subject to the same limitations of the unregenerate man. There’s a higher law by which you live; the law of the Spirit of life, and it overrides the natural laws of this world.
For example, when faced with harsh weather conditions, the natural response for the natural man is to yield and say, “It’s too cold,” or “It’s unbearably hot,” and then adapt to such natural elements. But faith responds differently. You rise above it. You declare your dominion over the elements of this world.
When you’re confronted with an unfavourable condition in your health or finances, don’t accept them as final. Don’t live by the projections of so-called economic and medical experts. Rather, respond on the basis of God’s Word. The Word of God is the governing principle of the divine life in you; it overrides the natural laws and elements of this world.
The Apostle John affirms, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them…” (1 John 4:4). Act on the Word. Refuse to be limited by natural conditions. You don’t have to deny their existence, but you must prohibit their authority over you. The Lord Jesus said, “…be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).
He overcame the world, its systems and elements. And when He did, you were in Him. Walk in this consciousness and consistently manifest victory, dominion and excellence over the systems, structures, and elements of this world.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the life of victory you’ve given me in Christ. I’m not subject to the elements of this world, for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus is at work in me. I walk in dominion and exercise authority over the circumstances, systems, structures, and principles of this world today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

EXPRESS YOUR FAITH

“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:10).

Faith isn’t passive; it’s something you practice. If you don’t act your faith, it will not work. Faith is more than “believing,” so don’t stop at believing. The Word shows that believing is from the heart, but its expression must be deliberate: with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
There’ll be no salvation until you vocalise your faith. And salvation is much more than salvation from sin. It includes all the blessings that the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ consummated for us. So, when you receive truth from God’s Word, don’t wait for circumstances to align before acting on it. Respond immediately.
Express your faith by aligning your thoughts, your words, and your actions with what God has said. God’s Word tells you who you are, what you have, and your ability in Christ Jesus; act accordingly and don’t wait for sensory confirmation. The Bible says, “…For we walk by faith, not by sight” (2 Corinthians 5:7).
This means your life isn’t governed by what you see, feel, or experience in the natural; it’s governed by what you believe, and believing must be practiced. If the Word says you have eternal life, then you live like one who has eternal life. If it says you’ve overcome the world, then you function from that position of victory.
The Word says you’re the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus; make that your constant confession. Faith is expressed in words and action. Don’t negotiate with feelings or circumstances; establish the Word. Affirm your faith. Some people acknowledge the Word but don’t practice it. But faith works through expression.
James 1:22 makes it clear, “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only….” Doing the Word is practicing your believing, expressing your faith. It brings the reality of the Word into manifestation in your life. It strengthens your faith to produce greater results. This doesn’t mean you’re trying to make God’s Word true; it’s already true. You’re simply aligning yourself with it and allowing its power to be manifested in your life.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for your Word, which builds my faith and directs my life. I express my faith today by aligning my thoughts, words and actions with your Word. I walk by faith and not by sight, and I see your Word produce results in my life continually, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

You Don’t Have Two Natures

YOU DON’T HAVE TWO NATURES

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

One of the most important truths about the New Birth is this: you don’t have two natures. You’re not partly human and partly divine. The Bible is clear: old things are passed away, and all things have become new. That includes the old nature. The Bible says, “Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures” (James 1:18).
You’re vitally born of God. The life you received from Him wasn’t added to your human life; it replaced it. That’s why the Lord Jesus said, “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit” (John 3:6). Your origin has changed. The New Birth translated you from death to life. Hallelujah!
The Apostle Paul expresses this reality powerfully: “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me…” (Galatians 2:20). The “I” that was sustained by the old life has been brought to an end. What you have now is the life of Christ in you. The idea that a Christian has two natures suggests a constant inner conflict between opposing natures within the same person. But that’s not the picture the Scriptures present.
The Word says, “Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him…” (Romans 6:6). Notice it doesn’t say, “Our old man is being crucified”; the only thing ongoing is the renewing of your mind: “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…” (Romans 12:2).
Your spirit is already recreated in righteousness and true holiness (Ephesians 4:24). You’re now a partaker of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4). Stop trying to suppress an old nature that doesn’t exist. Galatians 5:24 says, “And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.” Therefore, don’t struggle to be righteous; live righteously because that’s who you are.
Live in the consciousness of this truth and your life will consistently reflect the dominion and excellence of Christ.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for recreating me in Christ. I don’t have two natures; I have your divine nature in me. I live in the reality of who I am, expressing righteousness, dominion, and excellence every day, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

하나님께서 당신에게 영생을 주셨을 때, 휴면 상태이거나 수동적인 것을 주신 것이 아닙니다. 그분은 당신에게 고유한 생명, 스스로 재생산하고 표현하는 생명을 주셨습니다. 주 예수님은 요한복음 5장 26절에서 마음을 사로잡는 말씀을 하셨습니다. “아버지께서 자기 속에 생명이 있음 같이 아들에게도 생명을 주어 그 속에 있게 하셨고”

POWER TO IMPART LIFE

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also…” (John 14:12).

When God gave you eternal life, He didn’t give you something dormant or passive; He gave you inherent life, a life that reproduces and expresses itself. The Lord Jesus said something that boggles the mind in John 5:26, “For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself.”
This is why Jesus could give eternal life. Eternal life is the very life and nature of God, and inherent in it is the capacity to impart it. Consider the words of the Lord Jesus: “These signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils… they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” (Mark 16:17–18).
Why is this possible? It’s because you emit and evince eternal life. The life of Christ is revealed and manifested in and through you. You’re a life-giver. The Apostle Paul understood this when he said, “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death” (Romans 8:2). That life in you is superior to sickness, death, and every contrary force. And because it’s in you, it can flow through you.
You can impart life through your words, through the laying on of hands, and through your actions. You’re a carrier and a distributor of eternal life. And as you consciously release that life, you’ll see its power at work, bringing healing, deliverance, and transformation to those around you.

CONFESSION
I have the life of God in me, and it’s active and coursing through every fibre of my being, even now. That life impacts everything around me, bringing healing, deliverance, and transformation to many. I walk in boldness and manifest the glory of God; I’m a life-giving spirit, dispensing life everywhere in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

새로운 탄생의 본질
The Essence Of The New Birth

“내가 그리스도와 함께 십자가에 못 박혔나니 그런즉 이제는 내가 사는 것이 아니요 오직 내 안에 그리스도께서 사시는 것이라…” (갈 2:20)

새로운 탄생은 인간 생명의 도덕적 개선이나 영적 발전이 아닙니다. 옛 것을 대체하는 새로운 생명의 전이입니다. 기독교는 자연인을 정제하는 것이 아닙니다. 인간 생명을 대체하는 신성한 생명이 도입되는 것입니다.
예수님은 명확하게 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 네게 거듭나야 하겠다 하는 말을 놀랍게 여기지 말라”(요 3:7) 거듭난다는 것은 새로운 기원을 받는 것입니다. 새로운 피조물의 탄생입니다. 당신이 그리스도 안에서 받은 생명은 당신이 태어날 때 받은 인간 생명과 공존하지 않습니다. 그 생명은 인간 생명을 대체합니다.
그래서 사도 바울은 “내가 그리스도와 함께 십자가에 못 박혔나니 그런즉 이제는 내가 사는 것이 아니요 오직 내 안에 그리스도께서 사시는 것이라”(갈 2:20)라고 선포합니다. 인간 생명으로 유지되던 옛 정체성은 끝이 났습니다. 이제 당신 안에서 작동하는 생명은 하나님의 생명입니다. “또 증거는 이것이니 하나님이 우리에게 영생을 주신 것과 이 생명이 그의 아들 안에 있는 그것이니라”(요일 5:11)

THE ESSENCE OF THE NEW BIRTH

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me…” (Galatians 2:20).

The New Birth isn’t a moral upgrade or a spiritual enhancement of the human life; it’s the impartation of a new life that replaces the old. Christianity isn’t about refining the natural man; it’s the introduction of the divine life that supplants the human life.
The Lord Jesus made it unequivocal: “Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again” (John 3:7). To be born again is to receive a new origin. It’s the birth of a new creation. The life you received in Christ doesn’t coexist with the human life you were born again with; it supplants it.
That’s why the Apostle Paul declares, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me.” The old identity, sustained by human life, has been brought to an end. Now, the life that’s operative in you is the God-life: “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son” (1 John 5:11).
You don’t have two natures functioning side by side. You have one nature—the divine nature—because the former life has been supplanted. This aligns with 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
Many live below this truth because they’re more conscious of the human life than the divine life within them. But when you understand that the God-life in you has replaced the old life, your thinking changes. You no longer approach life as a mere man; you function from your divine nature, living in righteousness, dominion, and victory without struggle.
This is the essence of the New Birth—God in you, expressing Himself fully, naturally, and consistently through you.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the reality of my new life in Christ. I rejoice, knowing that the human life has been supplanted by your divine life in me. I live in the consciousness of this truth, expressing your nature, walking in righteousness, and manifesting your glory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

A Conscious Awareness

“내가 하나님의 아들의 이름을 믿는 너희에게 이것을 쓰는 것은 너희로 하여금 너희에게 영생이 있음을 알게 하려 함이라…” (요일 5:13)

A CONSCIOUS AWARENESS

“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life…” (1 John 5:13).

In our previous study, we learnt about the testimony, the witness, the undeniable reality that God has given us eternal life, and “this life” is in the Son. Whoever has the Son has life. In today’s study, observe something beautiful about God’s intention: He wants you to be consciously aware that you have eternal life.
That awareness is vital, because when you’re aware of a truth, you act accordingly. So, you ought to know with certainty that you have eternal life, not when you get to heaven but NOW! There’s a difference between having something and being conscious of it. You may possess a reality and yet not live in the good of it because you’re not aware.
Think about it: if you’re told something is extremely hot, even without touching it, you’ll handle it with caution. That awareness influences your actions. In the same way, when you become conscious that you have eternal life, it changes how you think, how you speak, and how you live.
You’re not a human being, trying to acquire the divine life, no; you were born divine, being born of God: “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God” (John 1:12-13). It helps you understand why He said through the psalmist, “I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High” (Psalms 82:6).
Take a hold of this truth. Refuse to be more conscious of the human life that’s subject to fear, limitations, and the elements of this world. The Word says, “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (2 Peter 1:4). The life in you is the transcendent life. When you’re conscious of it, your life will be the proof of its reality. You’ll manifest the God-life naturally, effortlessly, and consistently.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for my eternal life in Christ Jesus. I live with the consciousness that I have eternal life now, and I walk in this reality every day. Eternal life in me produces victory, excellence, and dominion in Christ Jesus. Amen.

LIFE THROUGH THE SON—JESUS CHRIST

“And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son” (1 John 5:11).

Eternal life isn’t an abstract idea, nor is it something reserved for the future. It’s located, defined, and experienced in one place—the Son of God—Jesus Christ. Notice the language of the Spirit; it’s deliberate, precise, and absolute. He didn’t say God will give us eternal life, but that He has given us eternal life.
Then He goes further: “Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life” (1 John 5:12 NIV). This is definitive. It’s not a matter of opinion, background, or human association. The determining factor is simple: do you have the Son? If you do, then you have eternal life.
Verse 13 further reveals the Spirit’s intention: it’s for you to know, not assume, hope, or speculate that you have eternal life: “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life” (NIV).
Eternal life isn’t just an endless duration of existence; it’s the very life and nature of God imparted to your spirit at the New Birth. This life supplants the human life you were born with from your parents; it doesn’t coexist with it. That’s why the Lord Jesus said you must be born again (John 3:7). You’re not improved; you’re recreated.
If this life is truly in you, then it must find expression. Eternal life has the capacity to impart life. It’s why you can live above sickness, fear, and the elements of this world. You’re not born or sustained by blood, the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man; you’re born of God (John 1:13); you’re animated by divine life. When you live with this awareness, you’ll rise above the ordinary and manifest the extraordinary life of God.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for imparting eternal life to my spirit and making me a partaker of the divine nature. I live with the consciousness of this divine life in me, expressing your nature, manifesting your glory, and walking in dominion over circumstances. I walk in the reality of who I am in Christ, impacting my world with your divine life in me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

DON’T TRY TO BECOME

“For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.” (Hebrews 10:14).

Many approach the Christian life as a process of “becoming”: trying to grow into righteousness, striving to attain perfection, and working toward a “glorious life” they believe lies ahead. But the Gospel presents a different picture. You’re not trying to become righteous; you are righteous. You’re not working towards perfection; you’ve been perfected in Christ. You’re not striving to have the life of God; you have it now. You must therefore align your thinking accordingly in agreement with God, for two can’t walk together except they’re in agreement.
Christianity isn’t a journey toward an uncertain destination; it’s the revelation of what has already been accomplished for you, in you, and through you in Christ Jesus. The moment you were born again, you were brought into the finished redemptive works of Christ. The Word says, “For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.”
The struggle many experience comes from trying to become what God has already made them. But the Bible says, “But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption” (1 Corinthians 1:30). Christ is your righteousness. He is your sanctification. He is your wisdom. Blessed be God!
Consider the profound truth penned by the Spirit through the Apostle John: “Beloved, now are we the sons of God…” (1 John 3:2). We’re not trying to become sons of God, we already are, and we reign in life (Romans 5:17). The world belongs to us because we’re joint-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17).
This understanding should change how you live. Don’t approach life from a place of lack or deficiency but with the mentality of abundance, completeness, dominion and power. Don’t struggle to please God; walk in the reality that you’re already accepted in Christ (Ephesians 1:6). When you understand this, your faith becomes bold and effective. You speak with certainty, act with confidence and live with assurance because you know all things are yours (1 Corinthians 3:21).
This is the power of the Gospel: you’re not trying to become anything; you’re expressing what God has already made you. You’re living the life He’s given you. He’s made you an associate of the God-kind (2 Peter 1:4). He’s blessed you with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:3). Live with this consciousness, and your life will reflect the glory, righteousness, and dominion of Christ.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for making me righteous, perfect, and complete in Christ. I live with the consciousness of who I am in Him, and my life is an unending stream of blessings and the miraculous, as I reign in life and express your divine nature in me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
