The Power Of Impartation
“내가 너희 보기를 간절히 원하는 것은 어떤 신령한 은사를 너희에게 나누어 주어 너희를 견고하게 하려 함이니”(롬 1:11)
사도 바울은 로마서에서 놀라운 말씀을 합니다. “내가 너희 보기를 간절히 원하는 것은 어떤 신령한 은사를 너희에게 나누어 주어…” 이것은 성령의 역사에 관한 중요한 진리를 드러냅니다. 영적 은사는 전달될 수 있습니다.
이것은 바울에게 단순한 바람이 아니었습니다. 이것은 신성한 능력에 대한 의식이었습니다. 바울은 자신이 그들에게 갔을 때 무언가가 전달될 것임을 알고 있었습니다. 바울은 더 나아가 이렇게 말합니다. “이는 곧 내가 너희 가운데서 너희와 나의 믿음으로 말미암아 피차 안위함을 얻으려 함이라”(롬 1:12)
이는 그 부어짐이 그들의 믿음, 즉 바울의 믿음과 그들의 믿음이 함께 작용함으로써 일어날 것임을 의미합니다. 성령의 일들은 우연히 일어나지 않습니다. 그것들은 믿음, 즉 의식적이고 능동적인 믿음에 의해 활성화됩니다. 다른 내용에도 주목하십시오. 바울은 “내가 가면 우리가 기도하여 하나님께서 너희에게 무언가를 주시도록 구할 것이다”라고 말하지 않았습니다. 그렇지 않습니다. 그는 그리스도 안에서 이미 가능하게 된 것의 관점에서 말했습니다.
이것은 우리가 오늘날 가지고 있는 것과 동일한 이해입니다. 예를 들어, 우리가 사람들에게 성령을 받도록 사역할 때, 우리는 하나님께 간청하지 않습니다. 성경은 “너희가 악할지라도 좋은 것을 자식에게 줄 줄 알거든 하물며 너희 하늘 아버지께서 구하는 자에게 성령을 주시지 않겠느냐 하시니라”(눅 11:13)라고 말합니다. 따라서 우리는 확신을 가지고 사역하며 “성령으로 충만하라”라고 선포합니다. 그것이 이미 하나님의 뜻이기 때문입니다. 할렐루야!
성경은 또한 말합니다. “네 속에 있는 은사 곧 장로의 회에서 안수 받을 때에 예언을 통하여 받은 것을 가볍게 여기지 말며”(딤전 4:14) 더 나아가 디모데후서 1장 6절에서 바울은 “그러므로 내가 나의 안수함으로 네 속에 있는 하나님의 은사를 다시 불일듯 하게 하기 위하여 너로 생각하게 하노니”라고 말했습니다. 이것들은 영적 은사가 전달된다는 것을 명확히 보여줍니다. 그러나 오늘의 본문 구절에서 읽은 목적을 주목하십시오. “너희를 견고하게 하려 함이라” 이러한 전달은 안정을 가져옵니다. 그것은 당신을 강하게 하고 하나님과 동행하는 데 있어 당신을 세워줍니다.

THE POWER OF IMPARTATION
“For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established” (Romans 1:11).
The Apostle Paul makes a remarkable statement in his letter to the Romans. He says, “I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift…” This reveals something vital about the operation of the Spirit: spiritual gifts can be imparted.
This wasn’t a casual desire for Paul; it was a consciousness of divine ability. He knew that when he came to them, something would be transmitted. He goes further to say, “That I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me” (Romans 1:12).
This means the impartation would take place through the working together of their faith; his faith and theirs. The things of the Spirit don’t happen by chance; they are activated by faith—conscious, active faith. Notice something else: Paul didn’t say, “When I come, we’ll pray and ask God to give you something.” No. He spoke from the standpoint of what had already been made available in Christ.
This is the same understanding we have today. For example, when we minister to people to receive the Holy Spirit, we don’t beg God. The Bible says, “…how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?” (Luke 11:13). Therefore, we minister with certainty and declare, “Be filled with the Holy Ghost,” because it’s already God’s will. Hallelujah!
The Bible also says, “Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands…” (1 Timothy 4:14). Furthermore, in 2 Timothy 1:6, Paul said, “…stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.” These show clearly that there’s a transmission of spiritual endowment. But notice the purpose as read in our opening scripture, “…to the end ye may be established.” Such impartations bring stability. They strengthen you and build you up in your walk with God.
Therefore, value moments of spiritual intimacy and impartation. When the Word is taught, when hands are laid on you, and when there’s an atmosphere of faith, open your spirit and respond with faith; that’s how you receive. Also, grow in your own consciousness of the Spirit. You’re not limited; you’re a channel of blessing. You can minister life, grace, and spiritual endowments to others as you yield to the Holy Spirit.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the ministry of the Holy Spirit in my life and the impartations I receive from your Word that strengthen and establish me in the faith. I walk in the consciousness of the power of the Holy Spirit at work in me, as a channel of blessing to others, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
