The Truth About Our Adversary
“근신하라 깨어라 너희 대적 마귀가 우는 사자 같이 두루 다니며 삼킬 자를 찾나니”(벧전 5:8)
우리의 대적인 사탄에 대해 많은 의견과 추측이 있지만, 오직 하나님의 말씀만이 그의 진정한 정체를 드러냅니다. 성경은 영적 실재에 대한 가장 권위 있는 출처이며, 하나님께서는 성경을 통해 마귀의 기원, 본성, 활동 방식을 드러내십니다. 이 지식이 없으면 사람들은 무지 가운데 행하지만, 이 지식이 있으면 당신은 빛과 이해와 다스림 가운데 행합니다.
당신이 하나님을 믿는다면, 하나님께서 말씀하신 것도 믿어야 합니다. 성경에서 자신을 우리에게 계시하신 바로 그 하나님께서 마귀가 존재한다는 것도 분명히 말씀하고 계십니다. 그러므로 사탄의 존재를 부인하는 것은 하나님의 증거를 부인하는 것입니다. 성경은 마귀를 추상적인 개념으로 제시하지 않습니다. 성경은 그를 영적 존재로 드러냅니다.
성경은 심지어 사탄의 기원에 대해서도 말합니다. 그는 한때 천사였으나 나중에 하나님을 대적하여 반역하고 대적하는 자가 되었습니다. 누군가가 사탄의 존재를 부인할 때, 그들은 종종 사탄의 은밀한 정체와 그가 영향을 미치고, 속이고, 죽이고, 파괴하려고 시도하는 교묘한 방법들을 인식하지 못합니다.
그러나 말씀에 대한 지식은 당신에게 분별력, 확신, 그리고 삶에서 지혜롭고 영적으로 대처할 수 있는 우위를 줍니다. 말씀에 대한 지식은 사탄과 그의 어둠의 무리들을 끊임없이 다스리며 행하는 데 필요한 지식과 믿음을 갖추게 합니다.
그분은 “내가 너희에게 뱀과 전갈을 밟으며 원수의 모든 능력을 제어할 권능을 주었으니 너희를 해칠 자가 결코 없으리라”(눅 10:19)라고 말씀하셨습니다. 할렐루야!
그렇습니다. 당신에게는 대적인 마귀가 있습니다. 그러나 마귀는 이미 패배한 원수입니다. 마귀는 당신의 발 아래에 있습니다. 당신은 마귀의 손아귀에 있지 않습니다. 마귀는 그리스도 안에 있는 당신의 권세에 복종합니다. 당신은 마귀보다 우월합니다. 당신에게는 마귀를 쫓아낼 능력이 있기 때문입니다(마 10:8, 막 16:17). 이 사실을 알고 행하며 예수 이름으로 당신의 통치권을 행사하십시오.

THE TRUTH ABOUT OUR ADVERSARY
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8).
There’re many opinions and assumptions about Satan, our adversary, but only the Word of God reveals his true identity. The Bible is the most authoritative source on spiritual realities, and through it, God unveils the origin, nature, and operations of the devil. Without this knowledge, men walk in ignorance; but with it, you walk in light, understanding, and dominion.
If you believe in God, then you must also believe what He has said. The same God who reveals Himself to us in Scripture also clearly tells us that there is a devil. To deny the existence of Satan therefore, is to deny God’s own testimony. The Scriptures don’t present the devil as an abstract idea; they reveal him as a spiritual personality.
The Bible even tells us about his origin. He was once an angel who later rebelled against God and became the adversary. When someone dismisses the existence of Satan, they often fail to recognize his incognito and the subtle ways he attempts to influence, deceive, kill, and destroy.
But the knowledge of the Word gives you discernment, confidence, and the advantage to deal wisely and spiritually in life. It equips you with the knowledge and faith necessary to walk in constant dominion over Satan and his cohorts of darkness.
He said, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19). Hallelujah!
Yes, you have an adversary, the devil; but he’s a defeated foe. He’s under your feet. You’re not at his mercy; he’s subject to your authority in Christ. You’re superior to him, for you have the power to cast him out (Matthew 10:8, Mark 16:17). Walk in this knowledge and exercise your dominion in Jesus’ Name.
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the light of your Word that gives me understanding of spiritual realities. My mind is enlightened through the Scriptures, and I walk in wisdom, discernment, and victory. I’m alert, grounded in your truth, manifesting the authority and dominion I have in Christ over Satan and the kingdom of darkness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
