Respond Rightly To The Spirit
“예수께서 그 당할 일을 다 아시고 나아가 이르시되 너희가 누구를 찾느냐 대답하되 나사렛 예수라 하거늘 이르시되 내가 그니라 하시니라 그를 파는 유다도 그들과 함께 섰더라 예수께서 그들에게 내가 그니라 하실 때에 그들이 물러가서 땅에 엎드러지는지라” (요 18:4-6)
하나님의 능력 아래 쓰러지는 일이 있습니다. 이것은 실재입니다. 그러나 때때로 안수하거나 사역 중에 쓰러졌다고 해서 자동적으로 무언가를 받았다는 뜻은 아닙니다.
능력은 나타날 수 있고, 흘러갈 수 있고, 사람들이 그 능력에 육신적으로 반응할 수 있지만, 그럼에도 불구하고 의미 있는 영적인 부어짐을 받지 못할 수도 있습니다. 결과를 보면 알 수 있습니다. 예를 들어, 요한복음 18장 4-6절은 주 예수님이 체포되던 밤에 어떤 일이 일어났는지 알려줍니다. 그분은 자신을 잡으러 온 사람들 앞에 서서 물으셨습니다. “너희가 누구를 찾느냐?”
그들은 “나사렛 예수”라고 대답했습니다. 예수님은 “내가 그니라”고 말씀하셨습니다. 성경은 그들이 뒤로 물러가 땅에 엎드려졌다고 말합니다. 그들은 능력 아래 쓰러졌습니다. 그것은 실제 능력이었습니다. 그러나 그들이 받은 것은 무엇입니까? 아무것도 없습니다! 그들은 여전히 예수님을 체포했습니다. 능력의 나타남이 영적인 변화를 받았다는 의미는 아니었습니다.
사도행전 9장 3-7절은 다마스커스로 가는 길에 있던 사울의 또 다른 예시를 보여줍니다. 하늘에서 빛이 비추었고, 음성이 들렸습니다. “사울아 사울아 네가 어찌하여 나를 박해하느냐” 바울은 그 음성을 듣고 자신과 동행자들이 모두 땅에 엎드렸다고 증언했습니다. 그러나 주님께서 말씀하신 바의 의미를 들은 사람은 단 한 명, 나중에 바울이 된 다소의 사울이었습니다.
나머지 사람들은 쓰러졌다가 일어나서 도시로 갔습니다. 그들에게도 능력이 임했지만, 그들은 아무것도 받지 못했습니다. 성령님은 지혜로운 분이심을 기억하십시오. 그분은 어떤 사람이 그분의 영향력 아래 있음에도 여전히 아무것도 받지 못할 수 있음을 아십니다. 그러므로 당신은 믿음과 이해를 통해 성령님께 바르게 반응하는 법을 배워야 하며, 그분의 축복과 부어주심을 받아야 합니다.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 지혜와 능력으로 나에게 사역하시고 나를 통해 역사하시는 성령님께 감사드립니다. 내 마음은 그분을 받아들이고, 내 영은 주의를 기울이며, 성령님께서 나에게 사역하실 때 지속적인 변화를 일으키는 신성한 축복을 받습니다. 내 삶은 지속적인 열매를 맺고, 나는 그리스도의 충만한 축복 가운데 삽니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

RESPOND RIGHTLY TO THE SPIRIT
“Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye? They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he… As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground” (John 18:4-6).
There’s such a thing as falling under the power of God. It’s real. But sometimes, that people fell under the power when hands were laid on them or when they were ministered to doesn’t automatically mean they received something.
Power can be present, power can flow, and people can respond physically to that power, yet receive no meaningful spiritual impartation. You can tell by the results. For example, John 18:4-6 tells us what transpired on the night the Lord Jesus was arrested. He stood before the men who came for Him and asked, “Whom do you seek?”
They answered, “Jesus of Nazareth.” And He said, “I am he.” The Bible says they staggered backwards and fell to the ground. They fell under the power. It was real power. But what did they receive? Nothing! They still arrested Him. The manifestation of power didn’t mean a spiritual deposit was received.
Acts 9:3-7 shows us another example of Saul on the road to Damascus. A light shone from heaven, and a voice spoke, “Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?” Paul testified that on hearing that voice, he and his companions all fell to the earth. Yet only one heard the meaning of the words that the Lord spoke—Saul of Tarsus, who later became Paul.
The rest fell down, got up, and went into the city. There was power, but they received nothing. Remember that the Holy Spirit is intelligent. He knows a person can be under His influence and still receive nothing. Therefore, you must learn to respond correctly to the Spirit, by faith and understanding, to receive His blessings and impartations.
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for your Spirit who ministers to me and through me with wisdom and power. My heart is receptive, my spirit is attentive, and I receive divine deposits that produce lasting transformation as the Spirit ministers to me. My life bears lasting fruits, and I walk in the fullness of the blessings of Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
