The Knowledge Of Your Identity
“그러나 너희는 택하신 족속이요 왕 같은 제사장들이요 거룩한 나라요 그의 소유가 된 백성이니 이는 너희를 어두운 데서 불러 내어 그의 기이한 빛에 들어가게 하신 이의 아름다운 덕을 선포하게 하려 하심이라”(벧전 2:9)
말씀은 우리가 선택된 민족, 왕 같은 제사장, 구별된 나라, 하나님께서 친히 사신 특별한 백성이라고 선포합니다. 당신은 특별합니다. 당신은 하나님으로부터 태어났습니다. 따라서 당신은 거듭나지 않은 사람과는 전혀 다른 존재입니다. 당신은 신성의 유기적이고 실존적인 특성을 가지고 있습니다. 당신은 신성한 근원을 가지고 있습니다. 이것이 그리스도 안에 있는 당신의 정체성입니다.
하나님은 당신을 그분의 놀라운 행위를 나타내고, 그분의 덕과 완전함, 영광과 탁월함을 이 땅에 보여주기 위해 창조하셨습니다. 그분은 당신을 어둠에서 불러내어 그분의 놀라운 빛으로 들어가게 하시고, 당신의 세상에 그분을 나타내게 하셨습니다. 더 놀라운 사실은 당신이 그분의 의라는 것입니다(고후 5:21). 당신은 그분의 공의에 대한 증거입니다. 하나님을 송축합니다!
당신이 그리스도 안에서 자신의 정체성에 관한 진리를 알고 그에 따라 행하는 것은 중요합니다. 당신이 진정 누구인지 알기 위해 가장 좋은 방법은 하나님의 말씀을 공부하는 것입니다. 말씀, 특히 서신서는 그리스도 안에 있는 새로운 피조물의 사진첩입니다.
말씀을 통해 당신은 자신을 보고 알게 되며, 자신의 영의 본질과 성품을 알게 됩니다. 그리스도 안에서 우리는 다른 영을 가지고 있습니다. 우리는 은혜롭고, 사랑하고, 다정하고, 친절합니다. 우리는 왕족입니다. 오늘의 본문 구절을 다시 한번 생각해 보십시오. 이 구절은 당신이 누구인지, 무엇을 가지고 있는지, 그리스도 안에서 무엇을 할 수 있는지 알려줍니다.
당신의 정체성에 대한 계시가 당신의 영에 임하면, 그것은 당신의 의식이 됩니다. 당신은 말씀에 따라 담대하게 말하고 확신에 차서 행동할 것이며, 그 결과 간증, 승리, 끝없는 기쁨, 평안, 번영을 얻게 될 것입니다. 그리스도 안에 있는 당신의 정체성과 유업에 대한 지식은 당신의 발걸음을 가볍게 합니다. 그 지식은 당신이 항상 그분의 의와 다스림 안에서 행하게 합니다. 할렐루야!

나는 하나님의 특별한 보물입니다. 나는 거룩하고, 의롭고, 성화되고, 의롭다 하심을 받았습니다. 나는 나의 왕족 신분을 인식하며 행하고, 내 세상에 그리스도의 덕과 완전함을 나타냅니다. 하나님의 말씀은 나의 생명이므로 탁월함, 승리, 끝없는 기쁨은 내 삶의 특징입니다. 나는 그리스도의 복음의 충만한 복 가운데 걷습니다. 아멘.

THE KNOWLEDGE OF YOUR IDENTITY
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light” (1 Peter 2:9).
The Word declares that we are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, God’s own purchased special people. You’re special. You’re born of God; therefore, you’re taxonomically different from the unregenerate man. You have the organic and existential attributes of deity. You’re of a divine origin. This is your identity in Christ.
God created you to set forth His wonderful deeds and display His virtues and perfections, His glory and His excellence in the earth. He called you out of darkness into His marvellous light to reveal Him to your world. What’s more? You’re His righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21), you’re the proof of His equity. Blessed be God!
It’s important for you to know these and other truths about your identity in Christ so you can walk accordingly. You need to know who you truly are, and the best way for you to know is to study God’s Word. The Word, particularly the Epistles are the album of the new creation in Christ.
Through the Word you see and know yourself, you know the substance and character of your human spirit. In Christ, we’re of a different spirit. We’re gracious, loving, affectionate and kind. We’re royalty. Consider again what we read in our opening scripture; it unveils who you are, what you have, and what you can do in Christ.
When the revelation of your identity dawns on your spirit, it becomes your consciousness. You’ll speak boldly and act confidently in line with the Word, resulting in testimonies, victories, unending joy, and peace with prosperity. The knowledge of your identity and heritage in Christ puts springs in your steps. It causes you to walk in His righteousness and dominion always. Hallelujah!
CONFESSION
I am God’s peculiar treasure; holy, righteous, sanctified and justified. I walk in the consciousness of my royal identity and I manifest the virtues and perfections of Christ to my world. God’s Word is my life, therefore, excellence, triumph, and unending joy are the hallmarks of my life. I walk in the full blessings of the Gospel of Christ. Amen.
