증인이 되도록 그분의 사랑으로 강권됩니다
Compelled By His Love To Be A Witness
“그리스도의 사랑이 우리를 강권하시는도다 우리가 생각하건대 한 사람이 모든 사람을 대신하여 죽었은즉 모든 사람이 죽은 것이라” (고후 5:14)
고린도후서 5:15도 마찬가지로 매우 감동적입니다. “그가 모든 사람을 대신하여 죽으심은 살아 있는 자들로 하여금 다시는 그들 자신을 위하여 살지 않고 오직 그들을 대신하여 죽었다가 다시 살아나신 이를 위하여 살게 하려 함이라” 이는 그리스도의 사랑에 강권되어 영혼 구원에 투자하는 목적 있는 삶을 사는 것에 관한 말씀입니다.
그리스도의 사랑이 당신의 심령을 사로잡을 때, 그 사랑은 당신의 열정을 불태우고 두려움을 없애버립니다. 그리스도의 사랑은 당신이 복음을 전파하도록 동기부여합니다. 성경이 말하는 바를 기억하십시오. 예수님은 모든 사람을 위해 죽으셨습니다. 이는 당신이 만나는 모든 사람이 하나님께 예수님과 같이 귀하다는 뜻입니다. 이것이 그리스도를 위한 효과적인 증인의 확신입니다.
성경은 말합니다. “… 이같이 그리스도가 고난을 받고 제삼일에 죽은 자 가운데서 살아날 것과 또 그의 이름으로 죄 사함을 받게 하는 회개가 예루살렘에서 시작하여 모든 족속에게 전파될 것이 기록되었으니 너희는 이 모든 일의 증인이라”(눅 24:46-48). 그렇다면 당신이 어떻게 잠잠할 수 있겠습니까? 당신이 만나는 사람들에게, 병원, 감옥, 학교, 마을, 어디에서든지 복음을 전하십시오.
복되신 주님의 영광스러운 복음이 당신에게 맡겨졌습니다(딤전 1:11). 이 복음은 진실하고 참됩니다. 이 복음은 믿는 자들에게 구원을 주시는 하나님의 능력입니다. 복음을 전파하도록 그분의 사랑으로 강권되십시오. 당신이 그분의 사랑으로 동기부여될 때, 변명은 사라집니다. 당신은 더 이상 등 떠밀려 하지 않을 것입니다. 당신은 그 사랑으로 움직일 것입니다. 그 사랑이 오늘 당신이 누군가에게 말하고, 누군가를 위해 기도하고, 누군가를 왕국으로 인도하도록 강권하게 하십시오.
고백
나는 그리스도의 사랑에 강권되며, 그분의 눈으로 사람들을 보고, 그분의 긍휼로 사람들에게 다가갑니다. 나는 담대하고, 사랑이 넘치고, 효과적인 영혼 구원자입니다. 나는 성령 인도에 민감하여 지친 자들에게 복음을 전하고 아픈 자들에게 치유와 건강을 가져다줍니다. 나는 하나님의 놀라운 도움을 받기 때문입니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

COMPELLED BY HIS LOVE TO BE A WITNESS
“For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died” 2 Corinthians 5:14 (NIV).
The ensuing 15th verse of 2 Corinthians 5 is equally very inspiring. It says, “And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.” This is about living a purposeful life, compelled by Christ’s love and invested in soul-winning.
When the love of Christ takes hold of your heart, it fuels your passion and dismantles fear. It motivates you to preach the Gospel. Remember what the Scripture says: Jesus died for all; that means every person you meet is as valuable to God as Jesus is. This is the conviction of an effective witness for Christ.
The Bible says, “… it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things” (Luke 24:46-48). How then could you be quiet? In your sphere of contact, be it a hospital, prison, school, village, wherever; preach the Gospel.
The glorious Gospel of the blessed Lord has been committed to your trust (1 Timothy 1:11). This Gospel is real and true; it’s the power of God unto salvation to those who believe. Be compelled by His love to preach it. When you’re motivated by His love, excuses dissolve. You won’t need to be pushed; you’ll be propelled. Let that love compel you today to speak to someone, pray for someone and lead someone into the Kingdom.
CONFESSION
I’m compelled by the love of Christ and I see people through His eyes and reach out with His compassion; I’m bold, loving, and an effective soul winner. I’m sensitive to the leading of the Spirit to minister the Gospel to the weary and bring healing and health to the sick, because I’m marvellously helped of God, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
