Cultivating The Right Mindset
“너희는 이 세대를 본받지 말고 오직 마음을 새롭게 함으로 변화를 받아 하나님의 선하시고 기뻐하시고 온전하신 뜻이 무엇인지 분별하도록 하라”(롬 12:2)
종종 사람들이 직면하는 문제들은 그들의 사고방식의 결과입니다. 사고방식이란 무엇입니까? 사고방식은 주어진 상황에 대한 사람의 반응과 해석을 미리 결정하는 고정된 태도나 성향입니다. 사고방식은 사람이 어떻게 행동하는지를 결정하는 확립된 생각의 방식입니다.
거듭난 당신은 의인의 지혜를 가지고 있습니다. 그러나 당신은 말씀을 통해 그 지혜를 발전시켜야 합니다. 말씀을 지속적으로 공부하고 묵상할 때, 당신의 생각은 그리스도의 방식으로 생각하도록 성장합니다. 당신은 생명, 승리, 풍성함을 위해 올바르게 프로그램됩니다.
그러나 당신의 환경도 중요한 역할을 합니다. 부정적인 것과 세상의 영향으로 가득 찬 잘못된 환경은 결국 당신의 사고방식을 형성할 것입니다. 질병, 가난, 연약함, 패배가 대화를 지배하는 분위기에 머물 때, 그런 생각들이 당신의 생각에 영향을 미치기 시작할 수 있습니다.
이는 인간이 듣고, 보고, 함께 사는 사람들로부터 끊임없이 프로그래밍이 되기 때문입니다. 오늘날 당신의 모습은 지난 몇 년 동안 당신이 받은 프로그래밍의 결과입니다. 당신이 속한 환경과 받아들인 정보가 현재 당신의 사고방식에 영향을 미쳤습니다.
따라서 올바른 영적 환경을 선택하는 것이 필수적입니다. 당신의 마음이 하나님의 말씀의 영향을 지속적으로 받고 새로워지는 환경이어야 합니다. 오늘의 본문 구절은 그 과정을 보여줍니다. 당신의 몸을 하나님께 산 제물로 드리고, 당신의 마음을 변화시키십시오. 하나님의 말씀이 당신의 옛 사고방식을 대체하도록 하십시오. 당신의 생각을 하나님의 생각으로 바꾸십시오.
갑자기 당신은 어떤 생각과 표현이 더 이상 당신과 일치하지 않는다는 것을 발견하게 될 것입니다. 당신은 하나님의 사고방식을 받아들이고 그분의 말씀이 당신의 사고방식을 형성하도록 내어드렸기 때문에 완전한 변화를 경험하게 됩니다. 이 변화는 당신이 하나님의 완전한 뜻을 증명하고 실천할 수 있게 합니다. 당신의 생각이 그분의 생각과 일치하기 때문입니다.

사랑하는 아버지, 말씀을 통해 나에게 의인의 사고방식을 주시니 감사합니다. 내 생각은 하나님의 진리와 일치합니다. 나는 세상에 동화되기를 거절합니다. 내 마음은 탁월함, 승리, 가능성을 생각하도록 계속 새로워집니다. 내 마음은 하나님의 완전하신 뜻을 증명하고 행하도록 새로워집니다. 내 생각이 하나님과 일치하기 때문입니다. 할렐루야!

CULTIVATING THE RIGHT MINDSET
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (Romans 12:2).
Oftentimes, the challenges that people face are a result of their mindset. What’s a mindset? A mindset is a fixed mental attitude or disposition that predetermines a person’s responses and interpretations regarding any given situation. It’s an established way of thinking that governs how one behaves.
Being born again, you have the wisdom of the righteous, but you have to nurture it through the Word. As you continuously study and meditate on the Word, your mind is cultured to reason the Christ-way. You’re programmed aright for life, victory, and fruitfulness.
However, your environment also plays a critical role. A wrong environment, saturated with negativity and worldly influences, will eventually shape your mindset. When you remain in an atmosphere where sickness, poverty, weakness, or defeat dominates conversations, those ideas may begin to influence your thinking.
That’s because humans are constantly being programmed by the things they hear, see, and those amongst whom they live. The way you are today is a result of the programming you received these past years of your life. Your environment and the kind of information that you accepted contributed to your present mentality.
This is why choosing the right spiritual environment is essential; an environment where your mind is continually influenced and renewed by God’s Word. Our opening scripture shows us the process: present your body to God as a living sacrifice, and then transform your mind. Let the Word of God replace your old way of thinking; exchange your thoughts for God’s thoughts.
Suddenly, you’ll discover that certain thoughts and expressions no longer align with who you are; you’ve accepted God’s way of thinking and allowed His Word to frame your mindset, resulting in a metamorphosis—a complete change of your state and estate. This transformation enables you to prove and live out God’s perfect will, because your thoughts align with His.
CONFESSION
Dear Father, thank you for granting me the mindset of the righteous through your Word. My thoughts align with your truth. I refuse worldly conformity; my mind is continually renewed to think excellence, victory, and possibilities. My mind is renewed to prove and live out your perfect will, because my thoughts align with yours. Hallelujah!
