Life Through The Son—Jesus Christ
“또 증거는 이것이니 하나님이 우리에게 영생을 주신 것과 이 생명이 그의 아들 안에 있는 그것이니라” (요일 5:11)
영생은 추상적인 개념이 아니며, 미래를 위해 보류된 것도 아닙니다. 영생은 한 곳, 즉 하나님의 아들이신 예수 그리스도 안에 위치하고, 정의되고, 경험됩니다. 성령님의 언어를 주목하십시오. 그것은 의도적이고, 정확하고, 절대적입니다. 성령님께서는 하나님이 우리에게 영생을 주실 것이라고 말씀하지 않으시고, 우리에게 영생을 주셨다고 말씀하셨습니다.
그리고 그분은 더 나아가십니다. “아들이 있는 자에게는 생명이 있고 하나님의 아들이 없는 자에게는 생명이 없느니라”(요일 5:12) 이것은 확정적인 진리입니다. 이것은 의견이나 배경, 또는 인간적인 관계의 문제가 아닙니다. 결정적인 요인은 간단합니다. 당신은 아들을 가지고 있습니까? 만일 그렇다면 당신은 영생을 가지고 있습니다.
13절은 성령님의 의도를 더욱 계시합니다. 당신이 영생을 가지고 있다는 것을 추측하거나, 바라거나, 짐작하는 것이 아니라 알게 하기 위함입니다. “내가 하나님의 아들의 이름을 믿는 너희에게 이것을 쓰는 것은 너희로 하여금 너희에게 영생이 있음을 알게 하려 함이라”(요일 5:13)
영생은 단순히 끝없이 지속되는 존재가 아닙니다. 영생은 새로운 탄생 때 당신의 영에 전이된 하나님의 생명과 본성 그 자체입니다. 이 생명은 당신이 부모로부터 태어났을 때 받은 인간 생명을 대체합니다. 인간 생명과 공존하지 않습니다. 그래서 주 예수님은 당신이 거듭나야 한다고 말씀하셨습니다(요 3:7). 당신은 발전한 것이 아니라 재창조된 것입니다.
이 생명이 진정으로 당신 안에 있다면, 그 생명은 반드시 표현되어야 합니다. 영생은 생명을 나누어 줄 수 있는 능력을 가지고 있습니다. 그래서 당신은 질병, 두려움, 이 세상의 요소들을 초월하여 살 수 있습니다. 당신은 혈통으로나 육정으로나 사람의 뜻으로 나지 아니하고 오직 하나님께로부터 난 자입니다(요 1:13). 당신은 신성한 생명으로 살아 움직입니다. 이러한 인식을 가지고 살 때, 당신은 평범함을 초월하여 하나님의 비범한 생명을 나타낼 것입니다.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 내 영에 영생을 부여하시고 나를 신성한 본성에 참여하게 하시니 감사합니다. 나는 내 안에 있는 이 신성한 생명을 의식하며 살고, 하나님의 본성을 나타내고, 하나님의 영광을 드러내고, 상황을 다스리며 행합니다. 나는 그리스도 안에 있는 내가 누구인지에 대한 실재 가운데 행하며, 내 안에 있는 하나님의 신성한 생명으로 내 세상에 영향을 끼칩니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

LIFE THROUGH THE SON—JESUS CHRIST
“And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son” (1 John 5:11).
Eternal life isn’t an abstract idea, nor is it something reserved for the future. It’s located, defined, and experienced in one place—the Son of God—Jesus Christ. Notice the language of the Spirit; it’s deliberate, precise, and absolute. He didn’t say God will give us eternal life, but that He has given us eternal life.
Then He goes further: “Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life” (1 John 5:12 NIV). This is definitive. It’s not a matter of opinion, background, or human association. The determining factor is simple: do you have the Son? If you do, then you have eternal life.
Verse 13 further reveals the Spirit’s intention: it’s for you to know, not assume, hope, or speculate that you have eternal life: “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life” (NIV).
Eternal life isn’t just an endless duration of existence; it’s the very life and nature of God imparted to your spirit at the New Birth. This life supplants the human life you were born with from your parents; it doesn’t coexist with it. That’s why the Lord Jesus said you must be born again (John 3:7). You’re not improved; you’re recreated.
If this life is truly in you, then it must find expression. Eternal life has the capacity to impart life. It’s why you can live above sickness, fear, and the elements of this world. You’re not born or sustained by blood, the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man; you’re born of God (John 1:13); you’re animated by divine life. When you live with this awareness, you’ll rise above the ordinary and manifest the extraordinary life of God.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for imparting eternal life to my spirit and making me a partaker of the divine nature. I live with the consciousness of this divine life in me, expressing your nature, manifesting your glory, and walking in dominion over circumstances. I walk in the reality of who I am in Christ, impacting my world with your divine life in me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
