세상에 대한 승리
Victory Over The World
“무릇 하나님께로부터 난 자마다 세상을 이기느니라 세상을 이기는 승리는 이것이니 우리의 믿음이니라”(요일 5:4)
우리가 방금 읽은 구절이 사도 요한에 의해 쓰였다는 사실을 생각해 보십시오. 하나님께서 그에게 그 지혜와 계시를 주셨습니다. 요한은 그저 예언한 것이 아닙니다. 그는 우리가 그리스도 안에서 가진 생명, 그와 나머지 사도들이 살았던 생명에 대해 썼습니다. 이것이 사도들이 가졌던 사고방식입니다. 그들은 오직 승리만 생각하도록 양육되었습니다.
그들은 예수님과 함께 있었고 신성한 생명의 메시지를 이해하게 되었습니다. 하나님으로부터 난 것은 무엇이든지 세상을 이기고 세상을 다스립니다. 이는 당신이 하나님으로부터 났기 때문에 세상을 다스리는 능력을 가지고 있다는 뜻입니다. “그가 그 피조물 중에 우리로 한 첫 열매가 되게 하시려고 자기의 뜻을 따라 진리의 말씀으로 우리를 낳으셨느니라”(약 1:18)
“영접하는 자 곧 그 이름을 믿는 자들에게는 하나님의 자녀가 되는 권세를 주셨으니 이는 혈통으로나 육정으로나 사람의 뜻으로 나지 아니하고 오직 하나님께로부터 난 자들이니라”(요 1:12-13) 당신은 하나님으로부터 태어났기 때문에 세상을 정복했습니다. 당신은 세상을 이겼습니다. 당신은 이를 위해 노력할 필요가 없었습니다. 당신이 하나님으로부터 태어남으로 인해 그 일은 일어났습니다. 할렐루야!
당신은 세상과 세상의 시스템과 부패한 영향력을 정복했습니다. 이 세상에는 당신에게 불리한 것이 없습니다. 이것이 당신의 사고방식이어야 합니다. 스스로에 대해 이렇게 생각하고 훈련해야 합니다. 삶의 압박이 당신을 덮칠 때, 자신이 누구인지 기억하고 이 세상과 그 압박, 역경, 타락을 다스리는 권세를 가지고 있다고 말하십시오. 당신은 사탄과 아픔, 질병, 연약함을 다스리는 권세를 가지고 있습니다. 그리스도에 대한 당신의 믿음이 당신에게 승리를 주었습니다. 할렐루야!
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 세상을 이기는 나의 믿음에 감사드립니다. 나는 상황에 따라 움직이기를 거절합니다. 나는 하나님의 영의 능력과 말씀을 통해 이 세상의 시스템, 압력, 역경, 타락, 부패한 영향력에 승리하며 다스립니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

VICTORY OVER THE WORLD
“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith” (1 John 5:4).
Think about the fact that the verse we just read was written by the apostle John. God gave him that wisdom, that revelation. He wasn’t just prophesying; he was writing about the life that we have in Christ, the life he and the rest of the apostles lived. This was the mentality they had. They were raised to think victory only.
They had been with Jesus and had come to understand the message of the divine life: whatsoever is born of God has victory over the world and subdues the world. This means you have power over the world because you’re born of God: “Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures” (James 1:18).
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God” (John 1:12-13). Because you’re born of God, you’ve conquered the world. You’ve prevailed over the world. You didn’t need to make an effort; it happened simply by your being born of God. Hallelujah!
You’ve conquered the world and its systems and corrupting influences. Nothing in this world is to your disadvantage. This must be your way of thinking. You have to train and see yourself in this light. When the pressures of life come against you, remember who you are and affirm that you have power over this world, its pressures, adversities and decadence. You have power over Satan, sicknesses, diseases and infirmities. Your faith in Christ has given you the victory. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for my faith that gives me victory over the world. I refuse to be moved by circumstances. I live triumphantly and reign victoriously over the systems of this world, its pressures, adversities, decadence and corrupting influences, by the power of your Spirit and through the Word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
