“또 바른 길로 인도하사 거주할 성읍에 이르게 하셨도다” (시107:7)

하나님께서 이스라엘 백성들을 애굽으로부터 인도하셨을 때, 그분은 그들을 블레셋 사람의 땅의 길로 인도하지 않으셨습니다. 그 길이 약속의 땅으로 가는 더 짧은 길이었음에도 불구하고 말입니다. 성경은 하나님께서 그 길을 피하셨다고 말합니다. 그분은 이스라엘 백성들이 전쟁을 위해 훈련받지 않았고, 따라서 적이 그들을 대적할 때 두려워서 도망칠 것이라는 것을 아셨기 때문입니다. 그들은 애굽에서 노예였고, 전쟁을 위해 훈련받지 않았고 준비되지 않았습니다.
결과적으로 주님은 그들을 홍해를 지나 광야의 더 긴 길로 인도하셨고, 그곳에서 그들은 하나님의 표적과 기사를 목격하고 그분의 공급을 경험했습니다. 이 여정을 통해 하나님은 그들에게 그들의 치유자 여호와 라파와 그들의 목자 여호와 로히로 자신을 나타내셨습니다. 그들이 결국 전투를 마주했을 때, 그들은 하나님을 그들을 위해 싸우시는 그들의 깃발 여호와 닛시라고 불렀습니다.

제가 15세에 처음으로 집회를 열었던 기억이 납니다. 저는 집회 전에 집집이 방문하고, 거리에서 복음을 전하며, 복음을 전할 수 있는 곳이면 어디든지 갔습니다. 저는 직장인들의 점심시간에, 학교에서 어린아이들에게, 그리고 저와 같은 또래의 사람들에게 복음을 전했습니다. 모든 사람이 제 말을 들은 것은 아니었지만, 그것은 중요하지 않았습니다. 예수님께서 전파하라고 말씀하셨고, 저는 그분께 순종했습니다.
당시 저는 좋은 결과를 냈지만, 오늘날 우리가 경험하는 것과 비교할 수는 없었습니다. 제가 성장해야 했기 때문입니다. 그때 하나님께서는 제가 한 번에 2만 명에게 설교하도록 하지 않으셨습니다. 제가 준비되지 않았기 때문입니다. 그 정도의 숫자에 도달하기 위해서는 더 많은 것이 필요했고, 저는 그 능력으로 성장해야 했습니다. 그러나 오늘날 저는 한 번에 수백만, 수십억 명의 사람들에게 사역합니다.
우리는 종종 일이 빨리 진행되기를 원합니다. 그래서 우리는 더 빠른 자동차와 컴퓨터를 만듭니다. 그러나 하나님은 태초부터 계신 분이십니다. 그분은 신성한 방식, 때, 목적에 따라 일하시며, 우리 앞에 놓인 일들을 준비하십니다.

HE PREPARES AND TRAINS YOU

“And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation” (Psalm 107:7).

When God brought the children of Israel out of Egypt, He didn’t lead them through the way of the Philistines, although it was the shorter route to the Promised Land. The Bible says God avoided that path because He knew the people hadn’t been trained for war and therefore would flee in fear when the enemy confronted them. They were slaves in Egypt, untrained and unprepared for battle.
As a result, the Lord led them through the longer way of the wilderness by the Red Sea, where they witnessed His signs and wonders and experienced His provision. Through this journey, God revealed Himself to them as Jehovah Rapha, their healer, and Jehovah Rohi, their shepherd. When they eventually faced battles, they called Him Jehovah Nissi, their banner who fights for them.
This progression shows that God prepares and trains His people, building their faith and confidence in Him before they confront greater challenges. You might find yourself wondering why certain things are happening in your life. Perhaps you’ve been born again for several years, and yet some situations seem inexplicable despite your prayers. Relax and trust His process. Declare, “I am learning and growing. I am on my way!” Glory to God!
I remember holding my first crusade at the age of fifteen. Before the crusade, I went from house to house, in street evangelism, sharing the Gospel wherever I could. I preached during workers’ break times, in schools to little kids, and to people my own age. Not everyone listened, but that didn’t matter. Jesus said to preach, and I obeyed.
Though I saw good results then, they didn’t compare to what we experience today because I needed to grow. Back then, God didn’t bring together twenty thousand people for me to preach to at once because I wasn’t ready. Reaching such a number required a lot more, and I had to grow into that capacity. But today I minister to millions and billions of people at a time.
We often want things to move fast, don’t we? That’s why we create faster vehicles and computers. But God is the Ancient of Days. He works according to His divine patterns, timing and purpose, preparing us for what lies ahead.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for leading me in the way I should go and preparing me for the life of victory and excellence you’ve ordained for me. I trust in your divine wisdom and timing as I grow in competence and capacity to fulfil your purpose for my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

“태초에 말씀이 계시니라 이 말씀이 하나님과 함께 계셨으니 이 말씀은 곧 하나님이시니라” (요 1:1)

오늘의 본문 구절에서 “말씀”은 “로고스”(그리스어)입니다. 로고스는 말, 아이디어, 생각, 메시지를 모두 포함하여 지칭하는 더 일반적인 용어입니다. “로고스”의 핵심은 메시지의 실체입니다. 당신이 “내가 너에게 메시지를 보냈다”고 말하는 것과 같습니다. 그것은 당신이 단어를 보냈다는 의미입니다.
요한복음 1:1-14을 읽어보면 예수 그리스도가 하나님의 “로고스”, 즉 하나님의 메시지임을 알 수 있습니다. 하나님의 모든 생각, 아이디어, 의견이 예수님 안에 담겨 있습니다. 예수님은 하나님의 생각의 표현입니다. 예수님은 아버지의 마음을 드러내십니다. 하나님이 무엇을 생각하시는지 알고 싶다면, 예수님이 그 표현이십니다. 할렐루야!
요한복음 1:9-11은 우리에게 놀라운 사실을 알려줍니다. “참 빛 곧 세상에 와서 각 사람에게 비추는 빛이 있었나니 그가 세상에 계셨으며 세상은 그로 말미암아 지은 바 되었으되 세상이 그를 알지 못하였고 자기 땅에 오매 자기 백성이 영접하지 아니하였으나” 하나님의 말씀, 그분의 메시지가 세상에 왔습니다. 그분은 자기 땅에 오셨지만, 자기 백성이 그분을 영접하지 않았습니다. 그분은 어떻게 오셨습니까?
그분은 모세, 사무엘, 예레미야, 이사야, 에스겔과 같은 선지자들을 통해 오셨지만, 세상은 그 말씀을 받지 않았습니다. 성경은 말합니다. “말씀이 육신이 되어 우리 가운데 거하시매 우리가 그의 영광을 보니 아버지의 독생자의 영광이요 은혜와 진리가 충만하더라”(요 1:14) 하나님께서 하신 일을 보십시오! 말씀이 사람이 되셨습니다. 그분은 바로 그리스도 예수이십니다.
예수님이 오시기 전에도 하나님의 메시지를 받고 언젠가 죽은 자 가운데서 일어나 영생을 얻을 것이라고 믿은 사람들이 있었습니다. 아브라함은 믿었습니다. 다윗도 믿었습니다. 선지자들은 이에 대해 말했습니다. 그들은 그 날이 올 것을 알고 믿었습니다. 천사는 다니엘에게도 이 메시지를 전했습니다. 천사는 다니엘에게 영원한 복으로 일어날 자들과 영원히 정죄를 받을 자들에 대해 말했습니다(단 12장).

복되신 예수님, 주님은 위대하시며 크게 찬양 받으실 분입니다. 주님은 육신을 입은 말씀이시며, 신성의 충만이시며, 하나님의 생각, 아이디어, 의견의 표현이십니다. 주님은 사람에게 나타난 영원한 생명이십니다. 주님은 아버지의 심장, 의, 사랑, 은혜, 선하심, 자비의 나타남이십니다. 주님은 영원한 하나님의 말씀이시며, 나는 지금 그리고 언제나 주님을 사랑합니다. 아멘.

JESUS IS GOD’S MESSAGE

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1).

“Word” in the scripture above is “Logos” (Greek). It’s the more general term used for word because it encompasses speech, idea, thought and message. The key thing about “Logos” is the substance of the message. It’s like when you say, “I sent you a message”; that means you sent a word.
When you read John chapter one from the first verse all the way to verse fourteen, it lets you know that Jesus Christ is God’s “Logos”; God’s Message. All of God’s thoughts, all of God’s ideas, and all of God’s opinions are wrapped up or encapsulated in Jesus. He’s the expression of God’s mind. He’s the unveiling of the heart of the Father. If you want to know what God thinks, Jesus is the expression. Hallelujah!
John 1:9-11 tells us something remarkable. It says, “That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not.” God’s Word—His message came into the world; He came unto His own, and His own received Him not. How did He come?
He came through prophets such as Moses, Samuel, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Ezekiel etc., but the world didn’t receive the Word. Then the Bible says, “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth” (John 1:14 NIV). See what God did! The message became a man: the man, Christ Jesus.
Before Jesus came, there were some who received God’s message and believed that one day they would rise from the dead and have eternal life. Abraham believed. David believed. The prophets talked about it; they knew the day would come, and they believed it. The angel gave the message to Daniel as well. He told him about those who will rise to eternal blessings and those who will be eternally condemned (Daniel 12).
The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. This is extraordinary. The voice that Moses heard from the burning bush, the message that he wrote from God to the children of Israel, the writings of the prophets—all of these took on flesh and appeared to men. His name is Jesus—the living Word. Glory to His Name forever.

CONFESSION
Blessed Jesus, you’re great and greatly to be praised; you’re the Word in flesh, the fullness of the Godhead, and the expression of God’s thoughts, ideas and opinions. You’re life eternal, manifested to man. You’re the unveiling of the Father’s heart, His righteousness, love, grace, goodness and mercy. You’re the eternal Word of God, and I love you now and always. Amen.

Perfect and Complete In All The Will Of God

“너희 가운데 한 사람이며 그리스도의 종인 에파프라가 너희에게 문안하노라. 그는 항상 너희를 위하여 애써 기도하니, 이는 너희가 하나님의 모든 뜻 안에서 완전하고 온전하게 서도록 하기 위함이라.” (골 4:12, 한글 킹제임스)

오늘의 본문 구절에서 우리는 하나님의 영이 에바브라를 통해 골로새 교회가 하나님의 모든 뜻 안에서 완전하고 완벽하게 서도록 기도하고 있음을 알 수 있습니다. 그분은 그들이 그리스도와의 관계 안에서 성장하고 온전히 성숙하기를 원하셨습니다. 그분은 “완벽하다”라는 단어를 사용하셨는데, 이는 그리스어 “플레로오(plēroo)”에서 유래되었으며 가득 차거나 완전히 채워진 상태를 뜻합니다.

우리가 모든 지혜와 영적 이해 안에서 하나님의 뜻을 아는 지식으로 충만해지는 것이 이 땅에서 가능합니까? 당연히 가능합니다! 이것은 모든 하나님의 자녀들을 향한 성령님의 갈망입니다. 그렇다면 당신은 무엇을 해야 합니까? “네! 그것이 나의 삶입니다. 그것이 나의 경험입니다. 나는 하나님의 모든 뜻으로 가득 차고, 완전하고, 완벽합니다. 나는 모든 지혜와 영적 이해 안에서 하나님의 뜻을 아는 지식으로 충만합니다.”라고 말하십시오. 이 고백을 계속하십시오.
기억하십시오. 당신의 삶에서 하나님의 말씀의 능력을 활성화하는 방법은 반응하는 것입니다. 하나님의 진리를 인식하고 그에 따라 말하십시오. 빌레몬서 1:6은 말합니다. “이로써 네 믿음의 교제가 우리 가운데 있는 선을 알게 하고 그리스도께 이르도록 역사하느니라”

PERFECT AND COMPLETE IN ALL THE WILL OF GOD

“Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God (Colossians 4:12).

In the verse of scripture above, we observe that the Spirit of God, through Epaphras, was praying for the church in Colossae to stand perfect and complete in all the will of God. He wanted them to grow in their relationship with Christ and be fully mature. He used the word “complete,” which is from the Greek “plēroo” and it means to be full or to be fully loaded.
So, you’re to be replete or fully loaded with all the will of God. This is God’s plan for your life. Hallelujah! That means you’re never in doubt or confused as to the will of God concerning anything, because you’re replete or fully loaded with the knowledge of His will. It reminds of another prayer of the Spirit in Colossians 1:9, “For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding” (Colossians 1:9). Blessed be God!
Is this possible in the earth, for us to be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding? Emphatically yes! It’s the Spirit’s desire for all God’s children. So what are you supposed to do? You say, “Yes! That’s my life; that’s my experience; I’m replete, perfect and complete in all the will of God. I’m filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. Make this your constant confession.
Remember, the way to activate the power of God’s Word in your life is to respond; you acknowledge His truths and speak accordingly. Philemon 1:6 says, “That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.”
The communication of your faith—that is, the way you live out and share your Christian faith—becomes effective, productive and powerful when you acknowledge every good thing that is in you in Christ Jesus. One of these good things is that you’re fully loaded in all the will of God; replete with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for making me complete in Christ Jesus. I acknowledge every good thing that you have deposited and placed in me as a result of my position in Christ Jesus. I’m fully loaded with your grace, power, and wisdom; replete with health, strength, prosperity, and victories. I’m filled with the knowledge of your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

교회에 머물며 헌신하십시오

“그는 몸인 교회의 머리시라 그가 근본이시요 죽은 자들 가운데서 먼저 나신 이시니 이는 친히 만물의 으뜸이 되려 하심이요” (골 1:18)

어떤 사람들은 다른 사람들이 자신에게 한 말이나 행동에 상처를 받아 교회에 가는 것을 멈췄습니다. 그러면 안 됩니다. 어떤 것도 당신이 교회에 가는 것을 막거나 교제에서 멀어지게 하지 마십시오. 교회에 머물며 주님을 섬기십시오.
안타깝게도 어떤 사람들은 자신의 가정에서 자라며 갖게 된 태도를 교회에서도 그대로 가지고 있습니다. 그들의 부모님이 그들을 꾸짖거나 그들이 좋아하지 않는 일을 했을 수도 있습니다. 그래서 그들은 집을 떠나 다시는 돌아가지 않기로 선택했을 수도 있습니다. 그들은 교정이나 용서에 대한 거부감을 키우며 살았고, 교회에서도 동일한 성향을 보입니다. 그러나 그리스도 안에서 우리는 겸손과 사랑으로 교정과 지시를 받고, 상처를 받았을 때 용서하는 법을 배웁니다.
구원은 예수님이 당신 삶의 주인이심을 의미합니다. 당신은 더 이상 자신이 선택한 대로만 할 수 없습니다. 당신은 더 이상 자신의 삶을 책임지는 사람이 아닙니다. 주 예수님은 “내가 내 교회를 세우리니 음부의 권세가 이기지 못하리라”(마 16:18)고 말씀하셨습니다. 예수님은 그분의 교회에 구조를 세우셨습니다.
성경은 말합니다. “그가 어떤 사람은 사도로, 어떤 사람은 선지자로, 어떤 사람은 복음 전하는 자로, 어떤 사람은 목사와 교사로 삼으셨으니 이는 성도를 온전하게 하여 봉사의 일을 하게 하며 그리스도의 몸을 세우려 하심이라 우리가 다 하나님의 아들을 믿는 것과 아는 일에 하나가 되어 온전한 사람을 이루어 그리스도의 장성한 분량이 충만한 데까지 이르리니”(엡 4:11-13) 교회에는 질서가 있고, 그리스도인으로서 우리는 그 질서를 따릅니다. 예수님이 우리의 주님이시기 때문입니다.
영적 성장은 지시와 영적 인도를 받고 따르는 법을 배우고, 훈계를 받아들이는 것을 포함합니다. 이것들은 당신의 마음이 새로워지고 당신의 삶이 변화되었다는 증거입니다. 따라서 교회 안에서 당신은 말씀으로부터 받는 교정, 지시, 인도를 통해 성장하고 더욱 효과적으로 그리스도인의 삶을 살게 됩니다.
“목사님이 하신 말씀에 상처를 받았으니 교회에 출석하지 않겠습니다.”라고 말하지 마십시오. 주님께서 친히 그분의 교회를 책임지고 계시며 당신은 그분을 따르고 있음을 기억하십시오(요 10:4). 그분의 주되심에 순종하는 것은 그분이 교회에 세우신 권위에 순종하는 것입니다.

사랑하는 주 예수님, 내 삶의 주인이 되어 주셔서 감사합니다. 나는 주님의 인도와 교회에 세우신 질서에 순종합니다. 나는 어떤 불쾌함도 주님과 동행하는 일이나 주님 안에 있는 형제자매들과의 교제를 방해하도록 허락하지 않습니다. 내가 듣고, 성장하고, 주님을 신실하게 따르도록 가르쳐 주셔서 감사합니다. 아멘.

STAY AND BE COMMITTED IN CHURCH

“And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the pre-eminence” (Colossians 1:18).

Some people have stopped going to church because they were offended by what others said or did to them. That shouldn’t be. Never let anything keep you from going to church or withdraw from fellowship. Stay and be committed in church, serving the Lord.
Sadly, some people carry the same attitude they grew up with at home into the church. Maybe their parents reprimanded them or did something they didn’t like, so they left home and chose never to return. They developed a resistance to correction, or unforgiveness and they brought that same disposition into the church. No; in Christ, we receive corrections and instructions in humility and love, and we learn to forgive when offended.
Salvation signifies that Jesus is the Lord of your life. You can’t just do what you choose anymore; you’re no longer in charge of your own life. The Lord Jesus said, “I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18). In His church, He has set structures in place.
The Bible says, “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:11-13). There’s an order in the Church, and as Christians, we adhere to that order because He is our Lord.
Spiritual growth involves learning to receive and follow instructions, spiritual guidance, and accept discipline. These are evidence that your mind is being renewed and your life has been transformed. So in church you grow and become more effective in your Christian walk through the corrections, instructions and guidance you receive from the Word.
Don’t say, “I was offended by what the Pastor said, so I’m going to stop attending the church.” Remember that the Lord Himself is in charge of His Church and you follow Him (John 10:4). And part of submitting to His lordship is submitting to the structures He has established in His Church.

KEEP A DIARY OF SOULS

“Here’s my concern: that you care for God’s flock with all the diligence of a shepherd…” (1 Peter 5:2 MSG).

In the previous study, we reviewed the importance of conclusive evangelism. Only conclusive evangelism allows you to have a record. When you lead someone to Christ, you should keep track of their journey in Christ. Five years later, for example, you should still remember them and keep praying for them. Consider keeping a diary of the people you lead to Christ, and you’ll be amazed at how long that list will become over time.
As you lead people to Christ, encourage them to do the same. Tell them, “When you lead someone to Christ, let me know. You can send me their names and addresses. I’ll be praying for them.” As your list grows, take time to bow your knees before the Father and pray for everyone on your list.
The Spirit, through the Apostle Paul, said in Galatians 4:19 “My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you.” Pray like this for those whose names are on your list. Be strategic with your intercession for them, that they’re established in the faith, doing the will of the Father, active in the work of the ministry, and bringing glory to God always.
Pray also for other new converts whom the Lord has added to the church, that they’re established in the Word, firmly rooted and grounded in the faith, and that the Lord is perfecting His work in their lives for His glory. Pray for them to be more and more passionate, committed, and fearless labourers of the end-time harvest, and that through them, more souls receive the Gospel gladly and are converted to the Kingdom.
In John 17:12, Jesus said, “…those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost….” This should always be your testimony concerning all those you lead to Christ or those whom the Lord adds to your local assembly through your evangelical efforts. Remember that evangelism has to be a conscious effort. It must be a sincere and personal ministry; it’s not a one-time event. It is a continuous, deliberate effort to bring others into God’s Kingdom and follow them up until they’re nurtured and grounded in the Faith.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the opportunity to partner with you in the ministry of reconciliation. I take personal responsibility for those I lead to Christ. I remain fervent in prayer for their growth and dedication to spiritual things. Thank you for the joy and fulfilment of seeing lives transformed for your glory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

MAKE YOUR EVANGELISM COMPLETE

“As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious” (1 Peter 2:2-3).

When you lead people to Christ to receive salvation, at that moment, they’re still spiritual babies that must begin to learn the Word of God. The Word of God is the food for the human spirit; it’s the only material that guarantees spiritual growth. Therefore, new converts must be taught the Word and given the opportunity to learn the Word of God.
This is where going to church plays a key role. When you win souls, immediately introduce them to the local church where they can participate in the things of God and be trained and well-nurtured spiritually. When you fail to bring them into the church, you’re like a woman who gives birth to a baby, leaves the baby at the hospital’s maternity ward and goes home. That’s absurd.
It’s important to take those you’ve led to Christ to your church. Don’t tell them to go to any nice church. That’s like having a child and saying, “This child can go to any mother.” Instead, guide them to the church where you are. If the person believed your message about Jesus, they ought to know you came from somewhere.
When you bring them to your church, you can guarantee their spiritual growth because you know what they’re going to hear. Connect them with someone from your church—a leader or even the pastor. Let them know you’re excited about their salvation, and that others will be excited about it too.
Make your evangelism conclusive. Help them see that their growth in Christ is a priority and that the church is the best environment for them to flourish spiritually. REAL SPIRITUAL GROWTH

“Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:13).

Every one of us was born into this world by someone, isn’t that right? You came in as a baby, but from the moment you were born, you were a complete human being. However, you had to grow to become an adult. You didn’t grow to become “more human,” but to become mature. And as you matured, you gained wisdom, understanding, and the ability to do the things that human beings do, better than when they’re children.
It’s the same thing spiritually. When you were born again, you were born with the nature of God. You didn’t become “more like God” over time; you were born in His image and in His likeness; you were born to look like Him and to function like Him from the very moment of your spiritual birth. You were born of the Word of God and by the Spirit of God, possessing His divine nature from day one. But then you must grow to spiritual maturity.
Spiritual growth enables you to manifest the fullness of the God-life in you. The more spiritually mature you are, the more effectively you can fulfil God’s plan for your life and operate in His power. This is why, at times, some Christians don’t see the results they desire despite their efforts; certain spiritual responsibilities and manifestations require growth to be sustained.
Some things may happen randomly, but they may not last because they require your spiritual maturity to make them permanent. It’s the reason we’re admonished to “…grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18). Ephesians 4:15 instructs us to “…grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.”
As you feed on the Word and mature spiritually, you’ll walk in the fullness of God’s purpose for your life and produce lasting results in the Kingdom. So, grow in the Word and the knowledge of God and be diligent in prayer and fellowship with the Spirit. 1 Peter 2:2 says, “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word that ye may grow thereby.”
To grow spiritually and mature in the Word, you must not only study it but also act on it: “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves” (James 1:22). It’s the Word that you do that remains in you. Simply memorizing Scriptures will not lead to maturity. Real growth comes from doing the Word—living it out in your daily life.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for imparting your divine nature to me at the New Birth. I commit to growing in the knowledge of your Word and walking in the Spirit every day. I walk in the full blessing of the Gospel, fulfilling your purpose for my life, as I grow in Christ, in and by the Word, consistent in fellowshipping with the Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

ASSOCIATES OF THE GOD-KIND

“I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High” (Psalm 82:6).

Psalm 82:6 is a remarkable portion of scripture; this truth was echoed by the Lord Jesus Himself in John 10:34. He said, “Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?” What would this mean but what it says?
In John 1:12, the Bible tells us, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.” Then in 1 John 3:1, the Apostle John exclaimed excitedly, “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God.”
The Apostle Paul, in his beautiful letter to the Galatian Church, said, “And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ” (Galatians 4:6-7).
Therefore, when Jesus said we are gods, He unveiled the truth about our divine birth and nature. 2 Peter 1:4 declares, “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature.” This means you’re now an associate or sharer of the God-kind.
You’re a carrier or conveyor of the God-life. What a blessed reality! This, however, doesn’t mean we’re equal with God Himself but that He’s brought us into His divine class. The Lord Jesus is still the Lord of our lives, our King, and we serve Him.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the revelation of my identity in Christ. I’m an associate of the God-kind; I function from the standpoint of advantage, victory, dominion, and power, because I’m born of God and conscious of His life in me. I walk in the fullness of this understanding, living according to your will, always serving you as my Lord, Master, and King. Amen.

당신 안에 두려움이 설 자리가 없을 정도로 하나님의 능력, 지혜, 영광으로 가득 차 있다고 상상해 보십시오. 이것이 바로 우리가 그리스도인으로서 담대한 이유입니다. 우리는 하나님의 충만으로 충만하기 때문에 두려움을 받아들일 수 없습니다. 그리스어로 “충만하다”는 단어는 “플레로오(Pleroo)”이며, 이는 가득 차거나 최대 하중을 의미합니다. 즉, 우리는 하나님의 최대 하중으로 완전히 흠뻑 젖어 있다는 뜻입니다.
예수님은 이에 대한 본을 보이셨습니다. 그분은 “아버지께서 자기 속에 생명이 있음 같이 아들에게도 생명을 주어 그 속에 있게 하셨고”(요 5:26)라고 선포하셨습니다. 예수님은 신성한 본질이셨고, 하나님으로 충만하셨습니다. 하나님의 계획은 교회가 동일한 수준의 이해와 표현에 도달하는 것입니다. 그리스도의 몸인 우리는 이 의식을 가지고 하나님의 충만함 안에서 살아가야 합니다. 주님은 성숙한 상태의 교회를 휴거하실 것입니다. 우리는 신성한 연결에 대한 의식 안에서 이 세상을 떠날 것입니다.
이는 두려움이나 절망으로 인해 세상에서 도망치는 것이 아니라, 이 땅에서 하늘의 능력을 행사한 후 승리의 출발을 하는 것입니다. 주님은 점이나 주름 잡힌 것이 없는 영광스러운 교회를 위해 오십니다. 그 교회는 그분의 신성한 생명을 온전히 받아들이고 나타내는 교회입니다.
그러므로 이 이해를 가지고 일어나 이 의식으로 사십시오! 하나님은 그리스도 예수를 통해 우리 안에서 이루신 것을 우리가 나타내기를 기다리고 계십니다. 할렐루야!

고백

FILLED WITH THE TOTALITY OF THE DIVINE ESSENCE

“And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God” (Ephesians 3:19).

To be filled with the fullness of God means to be filled with the totality of the divine essence, His very being. Colossians 1:27 says, “Christ in you, the hope of glory”; this is what it means. It leaves no room for ambiguity; we’re replete with God. We’re associates of the God-kind, not when we get to heaven, but here and now in the earth, in this life.
Imagine being so full of God—His power, wisdom, and glory—that fear has no place in you. This is why we, as Christians, are bold. We cannot accommodate fear because we are loaded with the fullness of God. The Greek word for filled is “Plēroō” and it means the full or maximum load. That means we’re completely saturated with the maximum load of God.
Jesus exemplified this. He declared, “As the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself.” (John 5:26). Jesus was the divine essence, filled with God. God’s plan is for the Church to reach this same level of understanding and expression. We, as the Body of Christ must attain this consciousness, walking in the fullness of God. The Lord will rapture the church in this mature state. We’ll depart this world in a consciousness of divine connection.
This is not about an escape from the world due to fear or despair but about a victorious departure, having exercised the powers of heaven on earth. The Lord is coming for a glorious Church without spot or wrinkle, one that has fully embraced and is demonstrating His divine life.
So, rise to this understanding and live with this consciousness! God is waiting for us to demonstrate what He has accomplished in us through Christ Jesus. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
I’m filled with the fullness of God, with the totality of His divine essence, His very being. Christ in me is the hope of glory; I’m full of His power, wisdom, and glory and I walk in the consciousness of this truth, expressing His power, wisdom, and glory as I live victoriously, fulfilling God’s purpose for my life. Amen.

Divine Competence

“우리가 무슨 일이든지 우리에게서 난 것 같이 스스로 만족할 것이 아니니 우리의 만족은 오직 하나님으로부터 나느니라” (고후 3:5)

사도 바울은 고린도후서 3:5에서 “우리의 만족은 하나님으로부터 나느니라”는 중요한 선언을 합니다. 여기서 만족은 “히카노테스(hikanotes)”로 역량이나 능력을 의미합니다. 이는 하나님의 자녀로서 당신이 무능하지 않다는 뜻입니다. 당신은 신성하게 유능합니다. 당신의 능력은 하나님으로부터 옵니다. 이 진리를 인식하면 당신의 생각과 삶의 방식에 변화가 일어납니다.
오늘의 본문 구절에서 우리는 신성한 교환의 원리를 보게 됩니다. 하나님은 우리가 그분의 능력으로 기능하고 활동할 수 있도록 그분의 능력과 역량을 우리에게 주셨습니다. 말씀에 대한 고백은 이 과정의 핵심적인 부분입니다. 이 신성한 역량과 능력은 당신에게 주어졌습니다. 따라서 당신은 계속해서 고백해야 합니다. 당신이 기능하고 있는 능력은 하나님의 능력임을 항상 고백하십시오.

기도

DIVINE COMPETENCE

“Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God” (2 Corinthians 3:5).

The Apostle Paul makes an important declaration in 2 Corinthians 3:5 that “our sufficiency is of God.” The word for sufficiency here is “hikanotēs,” which means competence or ability. This means as a child of God, you are not incompetent; you’re divinely competent. Your ability comes from God, and recognizing this truth brings a transformation in the way you think and live.
In that scripture we see a principle of divine exchange: God has given us of His ability and competence so that we could function, operate with the ability of God. The confession of the Word is a key part of this process. This divine competence and ability has been imparted to you. Therefore, you must keep saying it. Always affirm that the ability with which you function is of God.
Just knowing about it or reading about it is not enough. It’s your confession that endorses it and activates the reality in your life. So, every so often, you say, “My sufficiency is of God; I’m divinely competent, which means I can carry out any task or assignment excellently.” You align yourself with God’s truth. This act allows God to work with you, guiding you by His Spirit to walk in the fullness of His divine power.
It’s also important to understand that while your confession immediately aligns you with God’s truth, growth is a journey. You may not instantly function competently in all areas of life, but as you remain consistent in your confession and follow the leading of the Spirit, God will guide you on the right path. He’ll bring the right opportunities and experiences to help you develop fully in His divine competence.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the divine competence and ability you have empowered me with. My ability is not of myself but from you; I’m therefore divinely empowered to function with your competence, equipped to succeed in all things. As I meditate on and confess your Word, I walk in the reality of my divine nature and fulfil all that you have called me to accomplish, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
