우리 안에 있는 영광

The Glory In Us

“하나님이 그들로 하여금 이 비밀의 영광이 이방인 가운데 얼마나 풍성한지를 알게 하려 하심이라 이 비밀은 너희 안에 계신 그리스도시니 곧 영광의 소망이니라”(골 1:27)

오늘의 본문 구절 가운데 강력한 부분을 잘 보십시오. “너희 안에 계신 그리스도시니 곧 영광의 소망이니라” 이 구절은 “당신과 함께 있는 그리스도” 혹은 “하늘에 계신 그리스도”라고 말하지 않습니다. 이것이 비밀입니다. 성경 전체에 걸쳐 일관성 있게 유지되는 계시입니다.

우리는 창세기에서 바람이 불 때 동산에 거니시는 하나님의 음성을 들은 아담과 하와에 대해 읽을 수 있습니다(창 3:8). 하나님은 아브라함, 이삭, 야곱과 같은 사람들에게 여러 차례 나타나셨습니다. 하나님이 자신을 나타내실 때마다 그분을 만난 사람들은 하나님을 만난 장소를 상징하는 제단을 쌓았습니다.

하지만 그런 만남은 자주 일어나지 않았습니다. 그들은 하나님과 지속적인 교제 관계에 있지 않았습니다. 그러나 하나님은 새로운 계획을 가지고 계셨습니다. 하나님은 모세에게 자신을 나타내시고 여호와 – 장막 안에 계신 주님 – 그분의 백성들의 하나님이라고 소개하셨습니다. 하나님은 모세에게 백성들을 만날 수 있는 장막을 지을 것을 지시하셨습니다. 주님의 영광이 성막에 있었고, 모세는 그곳에서 하나님과 교제했습니다.

백성들은 여정을 다니는 내내 여호와의 임재를 상징하는 성막을 가지고 다녔습니다. 이후, 다윗은 하나님을 위한 영구적인 성전을 건축하기 원했습니다. 그러나 하나님은 다윗의 아들인 솔로몬에게 그 계획을 맡기셨습니다. 솔로몬은 웅장한 성전을 건축했고, 하나님은 성전이 완성되자 그곳을 하나님의 영광으로 채우셨습니다(대하 7:1-3).

그러나 하나님께 감사드립니다. 오늘날 솔로몬의 성전에 나타난 것보다 더 큰 영광이 있습니다. 모세가 하나님의 임재 안에서 산에서 본 것보다 더 큰 영광이 우리 안에 거합니다. 할렐루야! 낮에는 구름기둥, 밤에는 불기둥으로 나타나셨던 성령님이 이제 우리 안에 거하십니다. 오, 우리가 얼마나 영광스러운 존재가 되었는지요!

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 내 심령 안에 있는 당신의 놀라운 임재에 감사드립니다. 내 안에 계신 그리스도는 영광의 소망이십니다! 나는 모든 상황을 다스리고 통치할 은혜와 능력을 받았습니다. 나는 나에게 힘주시는 그리스도를 통해 모든 것을 할 수 있습니다. 내 안에 계신 그리스도는 지속적인 승리와 끝이 없는 성공에 대한 나의 보장이십니다. 하나님을 송축합니다!

THE GLORY IN US

“To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27).

Observe the powerful construction in the verse above; it says, “Christ in you, the hope of glory.” It doesn’t say, “Christ with you” or “Christ from Heaven.” This is the mystery—a revelation that remains consistent throughout Scriptures.

In the book of Genesis, we read of God’s voice walking in the garden in the cool of the day, as Adam and Eve heard His voice (Genesis 3:8). At various times, God appeared to individuals like Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Whenever He revealed Himself, they built altars as symbols of the places where they met with Him.

However, such encounters were occasional; they were not in constant fellowship with Him. But God had a new plan. He revealed Himself to Moses and introduced His name as Jehovah—the Lord in the camp—God among His people. He instructed Moses to build a tent, where He would meet with them. The glory of the Lord entered the Tabernacle, and Moses communed with God there.

As they journeyed, the tabernacle was carried with them, symbolizing the presence of the Lord. Later, David desired to build a permanent house for God, but God gave the plans to Solomon, David’s son. Solomon constructed the magnificent temple, and when it was completed, God filled it with His glory (2 Chronicles 7:1-3).

But thanks be unto God; today, a greater glory than what was manifested in the temple of Solomon; a greater glory than the one Moses saw on the mountain in the presence of God resides in us. Hallelujah! The Holy Spirit, who manifested as the pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night, now dwells within us. O, how glorious we have become!

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for your amazing presence, in the quarters of my heart. Christ in me, the hope of glory! I’ve been granted the grace and ability in Christ to reign and rule over all circumstances! I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Christ in me is my assurance of a life of continuous victory and unending success. Blessed be God!

Faith Always Wins

성령님은 에베소서 6:16에서 사도 바울을 통해 우리에게 놀라운 영적 무기인 믿음을 사용하라고 말씀하십니다. “모든 것 위에 믿음의 방패를 가지고 이로써 능히 악한 자의 모든 불화살을 소멸하고” 당신의 믿음은 방패입니다.

성령님이 하신 말씀이 틀림없음을 집중해서 보십시오. 성령님은 믿음의 방패로 악한 자의 모든 불화살을 소멸할 수 있다고 말씀하십니다. 그러므로 “주님, 제가 겪은 시련이 너무 힘들어서 뭘 해야 할지 잘 몰랐습니다. 그래서 저는 포기해버렸습니다.”라고 말하지 마십시오. 포기하지 마십시오. 겁먹지 마십시오. 당신의 믿음을 사용하십시오. 믿음은 항상 승리합니다.

FAITH ALWAYS WINS

“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses” (1 Timothy 6:12).

The Spirit, through the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 6:16, instructs us to use an amazing arsenal of the spirit—faith: “Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.” Your faith is a shield.

Observe the certainty of the Spirit’s communication. He says with the shield of faith, you shall be able to extinguish ALL the fiery darts of the wicked. So, don’t say, “Lord, the trials became too much and I didn’t know what to do, so I gave up.” No! Don’t quit. Don’t cower. Use your faith. Faith always wins.

It doesn’t matter how, or from what direction the devil throws his darts at you; use your shield of faith. The “darts” could create some trouble or pain in your body; stand your ground. Extinguish all the fiery darts of the wicked with your shield of faith. And while at it, remember the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:17).

The sword of the Spirit is the Word of God from your lips. It doesn’t matter the debilitating challenges in your life, don’t be quiet. Keep affirming the Word. Just as the Word prevailed in Ephesus (Acts 19:20), it’ll prevail over that predicament. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I refuse to be discouraged or overwhelmed by the challenges of life, rather, I see them as opportunities to exercise my faith, and prove the power in the Word. My faith is the victory that overcomes the world. I neutralize, quench, put out, and extinguish the fiery dart of the adversary. The Word of God on my lips prevails in every area of my life, family, city, and nation, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Everything God Made Can Hear His Voice

“그분께서 그들에게 이르시되, 너희는 온 세상에 가서 모든 창조물에게 복음을 선포하라.”(막 16:15, 한글흠정역)

주 예수님께서 “오직 사람에게만 복음을 선포하라”고 말씀하지 않으셨다는 사실은 많은 가르침을 줍니다. 그분은 “모든 창조물에게 복음을 선포하라”고 말씀하셨습니다. 모든 창조물에는 지능이 있으므로 당신은 주변의 모든 사람과 모든 것에 하나님의 말씀을 선포할 수 있다는 의미입니다.

하나님이 만드신 모든 것은 그분의 음성을 듣고 인식합니다. 예수님은 이 사실이 참되다는 것을 증명하셨습니다. 그분은 나무에게 말씀하셨고, 그 나무는 뿌리부터 말라버렸습니다(막 11:12-14, 20-21). 그분은 불구가 된 팔 다리, 마른 팔, 심지어 죽은 사람에게도 말씀하셨습니다. 이는 마태복음 17:5에서 하나님이 예수님에 관해 말씀하신 절대적인 선언이 생각납니다. “… 이는 내 사랑하는 아들이요 내 기뻐하는 자니 너희는 그의 말을 들으라 하시는지라”

마가복음 11:23에 있는 예수님의 말씀을 기억하십시오. “내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 누구든지 이 산더러 들리어 바다에 던져지라 하며 그 말하는 것이 이루어질 줄 믿고 마음에 의심하지 아니하면 그대로 되리라” 당신이 말한다면 그것을 가지게 될 것입니다.

주변의 모든 것에게 예언하고 말씀을 말하십시오. 당신의 돈과 소유물에 말씀을 선포하십시오. 이 원리를 적용한다면 당신은 반드시 간증을 하게 될 것입니다.

EVERYTHING GOD MADE CAN HEAR HIS VOICE

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15).

Isn’t it instructive that the Lord Jesus didn’t say, “Preach the Gospel to human beings only?” Rather, He said, “Preach the Gospel to every creature.” It means you can proclaim God’s Word to anything and everything around you, because everything has intelligence.

Everything God made can hear and recognise His voice. Jesus proved this to be true. He spoke to a tree and it withered from its roots (Mark 11:12-14, 20-21). He spoke to maimed limbs, a withered arm, and even corpses. It brings to mind the sovereign declaration of almighty God in Matthew 17:5 when He said concerning Jesus, “…This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.”

Everything in heaven, in the earth, and under the earth, living and non-living have been commanded to hear and obey Jesus. This also extends to us because He’s the head, and we are His body. We live in Him—in His Name and in His authority. 1 John 4:17 says as He is, so are we in this world. We’re one with Him. Therefore, everything in life has been commanded to hear and obey us.

Remember the words of Jesus in Mark 11:23, “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” You will have it, if you say it.

Prophesy and speak the Word to everything around you. Proclaim the Word to your money and the things you own. Put this principle to work and you’ll surely have a testimony.

CONFESSION

Lord, I’m fruitful and productive, and my life is excellent. Everything and everyone that’s connected to me experience the grace of God and are influenced by your righteousness, glory and grace that I bear. Thank you for the glorious life of abundance and dominion that I have in Christ. Amen.

Brought To Nought

“자녀들은 혈과 육에 속하였으매 그도 또한 같은 모양으로 혈과 육을 함께 지니심은 죽음을 통하여 죽음의 세력을 잡은 자 곧 마귀를 멸하시며”(히 2:14)

당신이 무언가를 무(無)로 만든다는 것은 그것을 쓸모 없게 만들고, 아무것도 아닌 것으로 만든다는 뜻입니다. 이것이 바로 예수님이 죽음의 권세를 잡은 자인 마귀에게 행하신 일입니다. 모든 그리스도인은 이 사실을 이해해야 합니다. 주 예수 그리스도는 자신의 죽음을 통해 사탄을 멸하셨습니다. 예수님은 마귀를 짓밟으셨습니다!

바울은 골로새서 2:15에서 예수님이 어떻게 지옥에서 사탄과 끔찍한 싸움을 벌이고 그와 모든 어둠의 세력을 물리치셨는지에 대한 설명을 해줍니다. “통치자들과 권세들을 무력화하여 드러내어 구경거리로 삼으시고 십자가로 그들을 이기셨느니라” 이 구절을 코니비어 번역은 이렇게 표현합니다. “그분은 자신을 대적하는 정사와 권세를 무장 해제시켰습니다.”

정사와 권세가 무장 해제되고 완전히 무력해졌습니다. 그들은 아무것도 아니게 되었습니다. 할렐루야! 모팻 번역은 고린도전서 2:6에서 흥미로운 진리를 밝혀줍니다. “우리는 성숙한 사람들과 ‘지혜’에 대해 논합니다. 그 지혜는 이 세상의 지혜 혹은 자리에서 쫓겨난 통치자들의 지혜가 아닙니다.”

위 구절은 그 권세들이 땅에서는 다스릴지라도 영적인 영역에서는 쫓겨났음을 알려줍니다. 따라서 이 땅에서의 진정한 권세는 비길 데 없는 예수 이름에 있습니다.

성경에서 “이러므로 하나님이 그를 지극히 높여 모든 이름 위에 뛰어난 이름을 주사 하늘에 있는 자들과 땅에 있는 자들과 땅 아래에 있는 자들로 모든 무릎을 예수의 이름에 꿇게 하시고”(빌 2:9-10)라고 말하는 것은 놀라운 일이 아닙니다. 예수 이름에 부여된 권세는 만물에게 미칩니다.

우리 모두는 예수 이름을 사용하고 그 고유한 능력을 사용할 특권을 가지고 있습니다. 사탄과 어둠의 세력, 도전적인 상황에 맞서 예수 이름을 사용한다면, 그것들은 당신에게 반응할 것입니다.

기도

BROUGHT TO NOUGHT

“Since then the children are sharers in flesh and blood, he also himself in like manner partook of the same; that through death he might bring to nought him that had the power of death, that is, the devil” (Hebrews 2:14 ASV).

When you bring something to nought, it means you make it useless, bring it to zero, zilch, nothing! That’s what Jesus did to the one who had the power of death, that is, the devil. This is something very crucial for every Christian to grasp: the Lord Jesus Christ, through his death, brought Satan to nought; He crushed him!

Paul in Colossians 2:15 reiterates this as he paints for us the picture of how Jesus engaged Satan in that awful combat in hell, and defeated him and all the cohorts of darkness: “And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” The Conybeare translation says, “He disarmed the principalities and powers, which fought against Him.”

The principalities and powers are disarmed, completely rendered powerless; they’re brought to nothing. Hallelujah! In 1 Corinthians 2:6, the Moffatt translation reveals an intriguing truth. It says, “We do discuss ‘wisdom’ with those who are mature; only it is not the wisdom of this world or of the dethroned Powers who rule this world.”

This brings to light the reality that although these powers may hold sway in the earthly realm, they have been dethroned in the spiritual realms. Thus, the true power in this world resides in the matchless Name of Jesus.

No wonder the Bible says, “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth” (Philippians 2:9-10). The authority vested in His Name extends over all things.

Every one of us has the privilege to employ that Name and access its inherent power. Use it against Satan, the forces of darkness, and challenging circumstances, and they’ll respond to you.

PRAYER

Thank you Father, for the privilege to use the most awesome and powerful Name of Jesus to effect changes in my life and in my world. I rule and reign over Satan and the principalities of darkness, rejoicing in the triumph and authority of Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Let’s Do More

“알지 못하고 맞을 일을 행한 종은 적게 맞으리라 무릇 많이 받은 자에게는 많이 요구할 것이요 많이 맡은 자에게는 많이 달라 할 것이니라”(눅 12:48)

사도행전과 교회사를 공부해보면 초대교회가 마귀뿐만 아니라 사람들로부터 극심한 핍박과 저항을 받았음에도 불구하고 점점 강해졌음을 알 수 있습니다.

초대교회는 로마 황제 아래서 심한 박해를 받았습니다. 그들은 모진 고문을 당했습니다. 어떤 사람은 산 채로 불에 타서 인간 횃불처럼 사용되기도 했습니다. 어떤 사람은 칼에 찔려 죽었고, 어떤 사람은 끓는 기름에 던져졌고, 돌과 몽둥이에 맞아 죽기도 했습니다. 그러나 초대교회의 사도들과 성도들은 이 모든 박해를 견뎠고, 교회는 대적과 반대자들보다 더 오래 살아 남았습니다.

초대교회는 큰 핍박을 받을 때 여전히 갓난 아이 수준이었다는 것을 기억하십시오. 그러나 그들은 기도와 믿음으로 예수 이름으로 사용하며 결국 로마를 함락시켰습니다. 그들은 모든 대적을 정복했습니다. “아기” 단계의 교회의 영향력은 부인할 수 없이 강력했습니다.

당신이 왜 기독교에 대해 조용하거나 안주할 수 없고, 그렇게 해서도 안 되는지 아십니까? 담대히 복음을 전파하며 어디서나 예수 이름을 선포하십시오. 지금은 당신의 때입니다. 복되신 하나님의 영광스러운 복음으로 당신의 세상에 영향을 끼치십시오. 이 일은 당신에게 맡겨졌습니다. 기억하십시오. 많이 받은 자들은 많이 요구 받을 것입니다(눅 12:48).

기도

LET’S DO MORE

“… unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more” (Luke 12:48).

When you study the Book of Acts, and also church history, you’d observe that the early Church, even though suffered intense persecution and opposition both from the devil and human adversaries, waxed greater and stronger.

The early Church suffered intense persecution under Roman Emperors; they were subjected to cruel tortures. Some were burnt alive and used as human torches. Some were stabbed to death, others were plunged into boiling oil, stoned and clubbed to death. Yet, the apostles and saints of the early church endured all these and the Church outlived its enemies and detractors.

Remember that the early Church was still in its infancy during the great persecution. But through their prayers and faith, using the Name of Jesus, they eventually brought down Rome. They subdued every adversity. The impact of that seemingly “baby” church was undeniable.

Now think about the fact that the early Church didn’t have the kind of knowledge and revelation of God and the Scriptures as we do today. They didn’t have the expositions of Paul, or the beautiful compilations from Peter, John, and the other apostles. Yet, they did great exploits. So we have no excuse. We must do more.

Those who came before us, without the resources that we have today, lived faithfully and triumphantly. If they used the Name of Jesus to raze kings and kingdoms, establish God’s righteousness in the earth, what then is expected of us?

Do you see why you can’t and must not be quiet or complacent about your Christianity? Preach the Gospel boldly, and proclaim the Name of Jesus everywhere. This is your time. Impact your world with the glorious Gospel of the blessed God, which has been committed to your trust. Remember, to whom much is given, much is also required (Luke 12:48).

PRAYER

Dear Father, I’m empowered by your Spirit to do more with the great grace and resources you have given me to preach the Gospel. By the power in the Name of Jesus, we, the Church, make a lasting impact and establish your righteousness in the earth. We’re strengthened, ever-victorious, ever-courageous, transforming our world with the glorious Gospel of Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

고린도전서 11:23-26에서 바울은 주님으로부터 받은 중요한 계시를 나눕니다. 그는 주 예수님이 배반당하신 밤에 일어난 일들을 말하며 성찬의 중요성을 강조합니다. 그날 밤에 대한 요한의 기록은 성찬에 대해 직접적으로 언급하진 않지만, 다른 중요한 사건들에 대한 귀중한 통찰을 제공합니다.

A FORMAL PROCLAMATION OF HIS DEATH

“Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you” (John 6:53).

In 1 Corinthians 11:23-26, Paul shares an important revelation he received from the Lord. He recounts the events of the night the Lord Jesus was betrayed, highlighting the profound significance of the Holy Communion. Although John’s account of that night does not explicitly mention the Communion, it provides valuable insights into other significant events.

On that night, Paul narrates: Jesus took bread, gave thanks, broke it, gave it to His disciples and said, “Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”

Similarly, He took the “Cup” after supper, saying, “This cup is the New Testament in my blood. As often as you drink it, do it in remembrance of me.” Through partaking in the Communion, we announce or proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes again: “For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come” (1 Corinthians 11:26).

The word “shew” in the verse above carries a profound meaning. It is translated from the Greek word “kataggello,” which goes beyond simply displaying or showing something. It conveys the idea of “declaring” or “announcing.” When we eat the bread and drink the cup, we’re making a formal declaration and proclamation.

The significance of the communion lies in its connection to the last testament or will of Jesus Christ. The last will of a person before their death holds tremendous importance. Therefore, when we partake of the bread and cup, we are not only participating in a symbolic act but also declaring and announcing the New Testament—the final will of the Lord.

In that will, Jesus bequeaths His wealth, rights, and privileges to us. He delivered everything to us. That will is now in force. The beauty of it all lies in His resurrection; the resurrection of Jesus ensures that no one can cheat us out of the blessings and provisions of His will. Blessed be God!

PRAYER

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for your vicarious sacrifice and the New Testament established through your blood. Therefore, I emphasize my victory over Satan, the world and its elements. I have eternal victory and dominion over sin, sickness, disease, death, and the devil. Amen.

Walk In Wisdom

“너희는 하나님으로부터 나서 그리스도 예수 안에 있고 예수는 하나님으로부터 나와서 우리에게 지혜와 의로움과 거룩함과 구원함이 되셨으니”(고전 1:30)

어떤 그리스도인들은 본문 구절을 읽을 때 매우 기뻐하고는 야고보서 1:5을 읽고서 혼란스러워 합니다. “너희 중에 누구든지 지혜가 부족하거든 모든 사람에게 후히 주시고 꾸짖지 아니하시는 하나님께 구하라 그리하면 주시리라”(약 1:5) 그리스도께서 우리에게 지혜가 되셨는데 왜 여전히 지혜를 구해야 하는지 의문을 갖게 됩니다.

이 두 구절은 전혀 모순되지 않습니다. 다만, 그리스도 안에서의 성숙도에 따라 적용이 달라진다는 것을 보여줍니다. 성경을 공부하다 보면 성숙도에 따라 다른 지침이 있다는 것을 알게 됩니다. 그리스도 안에서 미숙한 아기들을 위한 지침이 있고, 성숙해지는 과정에 있는 자들을 위한 지침이 있으며, 또 그리스도 안에서 성숙한 ‘아버지들’을 위한 지침이 있습니다.

WALK IN WISDOM

But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30).

Some Christians get very excited when they read our opening verse, and then get confused when they read James 1:5 which says, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” Since Christ has been made unto us wisdom, why then should one still ask for wisdom? they wonder.

Those two references aren’t contradictory at all; rather, it’s about levels of maturity in Christ. As you study the Scriptures, you’ll find that there’re different instructions for different groups of Christians on the basis of their maturity. Some are addressed to the babes in Christ; others, to the maturing in Christ, and then there’re instructions for the “fathers” or the spiritually mature in Christ.

The one who’s still a babe in Christ may quote and confess that Christ is his wisdom, yet he hasn’t really caught it. His words and actions may still be incongruous with the Word and wisdom of God.

He isn’t yet manifesting wisdom, which is a fruit of righteousness. He still acts and thinks like the rest of the world, like those without wisdom. So, James admonishes those in that class to ask for wisdom. Remember, it’s “children” that ask for things. Jesus said, “…Ask, and it shall be given you”; He related it to children asking their father for bread (Luke 11:9-12).

The spiritually mature don’t ask for anything, because they lack nothing in Christ. This is the level God wants you to grow into, where you know that all things are yours; you’re not asking for wisdom, but walking in wisdom. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for your wisdom that’s at work in my spirit, which is also increased even now through the Word that I’ve received today. I live out the Word, and therefore walk in your glory, fulfilling your perfect will and bringing many to righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

WISDOM FOR A GREAT LIFE

How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver! (Proverbs 16:16).

1 Corinthians 1:30 says, “But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom….” Christ Jesus is your wisdom; and who is Jesus? The Word; and the Word of God is the wisdom of God. To ignore God’s Word would be to ignore wisdom.

The Bible says, “Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed…” (Proverbs 13:13). God’s wisdom is the key to a great life. In Ephesians 1, the Spirit, through the Apostle Paul, prayed for the church at Ephesus that God would grant them “…wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him” (Ephesians 1:17).

It doesn’t matter the books you’ve read or who your advisers are; for you to be a true success in life, you must walk in divine wisdom. The best part is that Christ, in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, lives in you. Therefore, you have insight into mysteries and secrets of life and of the Kingdom.
Acknowledge this about yourself always.

Even now, declare that you make wise choices and decisions, because the Spirit of wisdom is at work in you. Affirm that divine wisdom is heard and seen in you today. Affirm that your actions and words are in sync with God’s plan, purpose and will, for you function by divine insight. Glory to God!

CONFESSION

In Christ are stored all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and that same Christ is alive in me. Therefore, I have access to all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge! I’m sound, sagacious and perspicacious. I talk and deal wisely today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

And they said, Nothing.” It shows that when God sends you on an assignment, He sees to it that everything you require to accomplish it is available to you. Therefore, be determined that there’ll be no limit to how far you’re willing to go in spreading the Gospel around the world.

As far as God is with you and has made your body His living tabernacle, the Gospel won’t be limited. That’s the kind of commitment we see in the Apostle Paul, and it’s worth emulating. He said, “Woe unto me, if I don’t preach the Gospel” (1 Corinthians 9:16).

Some people have committed their time and resources to ensuring the Gospel reaches every nation of the world. They do great exploits in advancing God’s agenda, making up for the lack or short-comings of others. They give so much money to the furtherance of the Gospel; and the more they give, the more the Lord channels resources their way so they can accomplish greater things for Him. He’ll supply all you ever require to fulfil His purpose of soul winning.

Decide that through you, the Gospel will continue to prosper, and you’ll keep at it, until the rapture of the Church.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for entrusting me with the Gospel and giving me the resources, time, energy and ideas for its quick and unhindered spread around the

world. Through me, the knowledge of Christ spreads everywhere; the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ dispels darkness in the hearts of the unconverted, impacting them with the message of eternal life, establishing them in righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

성령님께 물어보십시오. 그러면 그분이 당신에게 장래, 다시 말해 당신이 영광에서 영광으로 성공하고 위대해지는 미래를 알려주실 것입니다. 그뿐만 아니라 그분은 그 미래로 당신을 안내하시고 이끄실 것입니다. 성령님과 함께라면 당신은 길을 놓치거나 어둠에 빠지지 않을 것입니다. 건강에 대해서도 그분을 신뢰할 수 있습니다. 때로 어떤 그리스도인들은 이 의사 저 의사를 찾아다니며 건강에 관해 알아봅니다. 많은 사람들이 두려움과 증상에 대한 진단의 노예가 됩니다. 성령님을 신뢰하십시오. 그분은 당신의 몸에 대해 모든 걸 이미 아십니다. 당신 안에 있는 그분의 임재로 인해 당신의 장기나 신체에선 어떤 비정상적인 것이나 결핍이 번성하지 못하며 당신의 건강은 완전하게 유지됩니다.

성령님이 당신을 인도하신다는 의미는 어떤 도전도 없을 것이라는 뜻이 아니라 그런 도전이 당신의 승진을 위한 것이라는 뜻입니다. 고린도후서 4:17은 말씀합니다. “우리가 잠시 받는 환난의 경한 것이 지극히 크고 영원한 영광의 중한 것을 우리에게 이루게 함이니” 누군가는 “성령님이 이 직장을 잡으라고 제게 말씀하셨지만, 그 직장을 다닌 후로도 이러저러한 도전이 있었습니다.”라고 말할지도 모릅니다. 안심하십시오!

동일한 성령님이 당신에게 승리하는 길도 보여주실 것입니다. 그분은 당신에게 안내해줄 비전을 주실 것입니다. 사도 바울을 통해 성령님이 하신 말씀을 떠올려보십시오. “…오직 하나님은 미쁘사 너희가 감당하지 못할 시험 당함을 허락하지 아니하시고 시험 당할 즈음에 또한 피할 길을 내사 너희로 능히 감당하게 하시느니라”(고전 10:13) 요한일서 4:4은 말씀합니다. “자녀들아 너희는 하나님께 속하였고 또 그들을 이기었나니 이는 너희 안에 계신 이가 세상에 있는 자보다 크심이라” 그리고 이사야 54:17도 말씀합니다. “너를 치려고 제조된 모든 연장이 쓸모가 없을 것이라…” 할렐루야!

사랑하는 하늘 아버지, 저의 선생님이자 안내자이신 성령님을 선물로 주셔서 감사드립니다. 성령님이 내주하심으로 저는 지혜롭게 선택하고 바른 결정을 내리도록 안내와 보호와 영감을 받습니다. 성령님께서 안에서부터 조언하시므로, 저는 그분의 정밀함과 정확성 가운데 행합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

HE GUIDES YOU IN THE REALITIES OF LIFE

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth…and he will shew you things to come (John 16:13).

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth. Truth means reality; so, the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of reality.

Having Him in your life is such a profound advantage because Jesus said He’d guide you into all reality; it’s His job. He’ll guide you into the reality of your situation, the reality of your family, the reality of your job, your finances, your future, your relationship with God; the reality of your transcendent life in Christ. Enquire of Him, and He’ll show you the future: the future of your success and greatness from glory to glory. Much more than that, He’ll guide and lead you in that future. With Him, you can never miss your way or walk in darkness. You can trust Him with your health. Sometimes, Christians journey from doctor to doctor, trying to find out about their health; many are enslaved by fear and their symptomatic diagnosis. Trust the Holy Spirit. He already knows everything about your body; His presence in you keeps you in perfect health, ensuring no anomalies or defects thrive in any of your organs or systems. Now, the Holy Spirit guiding you doesn’t mean there’ll be no challenges; but those challenges are definitely for your promotion. 2 Corinthians 4:17 says, “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.” Someone may say, “The Holy Spirit told me to get this job, but ever since I started the job, it’s been one challenge or the other.” Relax! The same Holy Spirit will show you the way of victory; He’ll give you visions for guidance. Remember the words of the Spirit through the Apostle Paul: “… God is faithful, who will…with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it”(1 Corinthians 10:13). 1 John 4:4: “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” Isaiah 54:17, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper….” Hallelujah!

PRAYER
Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit, my teacher and my guide. By reason of His indwelling, I’m guided, protected, and inspired to make wise choices, and the right decisions. He counsels me from within, thus I walk in the precision and accuracy of the Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
