본보기와 모형
SAMPLES AND PATTERNS
“무엇이든지 전에 기록된 바는 우리의 교훈을 위하여 기록된 것이니 우리로 하여금 인내로 또는 성경의 위로로 소망을 가지게 함이니라”(롬15:4)
성경을 공부할 때, 원리와 본보기, 그리고 모형을 부지런히 관찰하십시오. 믿음의 조상, 선지자, 사도들의 놀라운 삶에 대해 읽을 때, 당신은 믿음의 본보기와 그들이 어떻게 말씀으로 삶의 방향을 설정했는지 발견하게 됩니다. 고린도전서 10:11은 말합니다. “그들에게 일어난 이런 일은 본보기가 되고 또한 말세를 만난 우리를 깨우치기 위하여 기록되었느니라.”
킹제임스 번역에서 사용된 “본보기(ensamples)”라는 단어의 사용은 “예시(example)”와 정확히 동일한 뜻은 아닙니다. 오히려 이 단어는 실제로 “샘플(sample)”과 같습니다. 샘플은 표본, 즉 당신에게 원본을 보여주며 “이렇게 생겼습니다” 라고 알려주는 것입니다. 이는 당신에게 주어진 모형이나 청사진과 같습니다.
히브리서 11장은 우리에게 모형을 제공합니다. 성경은 말합니다. “믿음은 바라는 것들의 실상이요 보이지 않는 것들의 증거니 선진들이 이로써 증거를 얻었느니라”(히11:1-2) 히브리서 11장을 더 읽어보면 당신은 그들의 탁월한 성취와 그들의 믿음이 하나님의 왕국을 위해 이룩한 일들에 동기부여 될 것입니다(히11:32-33).
이 믿음의 챔피언들은 왕국을 정복하고 그들의 시대에 놀라운 일을 행했습니다. 그들은 자신의 세상을 다스렸습니다! 하지만 이것이 다가 아닙니다! 히브리서 11:3은 말합니다. “믿음으로 모든 세계가 하나님의 말씀으로 지어진 줄을 우리가 아나니 보이는 것은 나타난 것으로 말미암아 된 것이 아니니라.” 다시 말해서, 여러 시대가 하나님의 말씀(하나님의 ‘레마’)로 지어졌다는 것입니다. 여기에서 쓰인 그리스어 ‘레마(Rhema)’는 사람의 입술을 통해 선포된 하나님의 말씀을 뜻합니다.
이 구절에서 하나님께서 “세상(아이온)”을 세우지 않으셨다는 사실에 꼭 주목하십시오. 오히려 믿음의 남성들과 여성들이 하나님의 말씀을 고백함으로 이 세상의 사회경제적 구조와 환경을 다스리는 제도를 세웠습니다. 할렐루야! 이는 당신이 오늘날 무엇을 할 수 있는지 보여줍니다. 당신은 하나님의 말씀을 말함으로 당신의 삶과 세상을 하나님의 완전한 뜻과 일치하도록 세워갈 수 있습니다.
기도
나는 이미 나타난 믿음의 모형과 선포된 말씀을 따라갑니다. 내 마음은 말씀에 의해 새롭게 되었고, 나는 삶과 환경을 변화시킬 수 있는 바른 생각과 바른 말을 합니다. 내 삶의 구조와 방식은 나를 향한 하나님의 완벽한 뜻과 완벽하게 일치합니다. 나는 매일 건강과 평화와 풍요 안에 거합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

SAMPLES AND PATTERNS
“For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.”(Romans 15:4)
When studying the Bible, be diligent to observe principles, samples and patterns. As you read about the amazing life of the fathers, prophets and apostles, you’ll see samples of faith, and how they framed the course of their lives with the Word. 1 Corinthians 10:11 tells, “Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.”
The use of the word “ensamples” in the King James isn’t exactly the same thing as “example”; it actually means “samples.” A sample is a specimen, an original that’s shown to you, like you say, “This is what it’s supposed to be.” It’s like a pattern or print given to you.
Hebrews 11 gives us a pattern. The Bible says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report” (Hebrews 11:1-2). When you read further in Hebrews 11, you’ll be inspired by their extraordinary feats; what their faith accomplished for the Kingdom of God (Hebrews 11:32-33).
These champions of faith subdued kingdoms and did wondrous things in their time; they ruled their world! That’s not all! Hebrews 11:3 says, “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” In other words, the various eras were framed by the Word of God (the ‘Rhema’ of God). The use of the Greek ‘Rhema’ here, indicates that the word of God referred to was spoken through the lips of men.
It’s vital to note in this verse that God didn’t frame the “aions”; rather, through faith, the world’s systems, with respect to socio-economic structures and environmental managements were programmed through God’s Word that came out of these men and women of faith. Hallelujah! It shows what you can do today: you can frame things in your life and in your world to synchronize with God’s perfect will by speaking forth God’s Word.
PRAYER
I follow the prescribed pattern of faith and the spoken word. My mind is renewed by the Word to think the right thoughts and speak the right words that transform my life and circumstances. The structure and administration of my life are perfected in line with God’s perfect will for me, and I dwell in health, peace and abundance every day, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
