주님과 하나됨을 담대하게 말하십시오
Speak Boldly Of Your Oneness With Him
“나와 아버지는 하나이니라 하신대” (요 10:30)
요한복음 10:32-38에서 우리는 주 예수님과 그분을 신성모독죄로 고발하여 체포할 기회를 노리던 유대 지도자들의 회의적인 태도에 대해 읽습니다. 39절은 말합니다. “그들이 다시 그를 잡고자 하였으나 그들의 손에서 벗어나 나가시니라.”
이어서 “그들의 손을 벗어나”라는 부분에 주목하십시오. 어떤 사람들은 예수님이 두려워서 도망치셨다고 말합니다. 그것은 사실이 아닙니다. 예수님은 두려워하실 이유가 없었습니다. 기억하십시오. 예수님은 죽음을 마주하고도 피할 기회가 있었지만 피하지 않으셨습니다. 그러나 이때는 예수님의 희생의 때가 아니었기 때문에 예수님은 피하셨습니다.
만일 예수님이 그들이 자신을 해치도록 허락하셨다면, 아버지께서 개입하셨을 것이고, 그들은 멸망했을 것입니다. 예수님은 이를 아셨습니다. 예수님은 마태복음 26:53에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “너는 내가 내 아버지께 지금 청하면 그가 열두 군단 더 되는 천사를 보내시어 나를 위해 주실 수 없는 줄로 생각하느냐?” 이 말씀은 자신의 권세와 명령에 따라 움직이는 천사들의 능력을 완전히 알고 계신 하나님의 아들의 말씀이었습니다.
엘리사와 그의 종이 군대에 둘러싸였을 때를 생각해 보십시오. 종은 두려워했지만, 엘리사는 그에게 “두려워하지 말라 우리와 함께 한 자가 그들과 함께 한 자보다 많으니라”고 말했습니다. 그리고 엘리사가 기도했습니다. “주님, 그의 눈을 열어 그가 보게 하소서.” 그러자 그 젊은이는 산에 불말과 불병거가 가득하여 엘리사를 둘러싼 것을 보았습니다(왕하 6:16-17).
엘리사에게 그런 일이 일어났다면 주 예수님에 대해서는 생각해 보십시오. 예수님은 그분과 함께 수많은 천사들이 있다는 것을 아셨습니다. 그분의 행동은 목적이 있었고, 그분이 항상 통제권을 가지고 계셨음을 보여주었습니다. 그분은 압박 가운데서도 아버지의 뜻을 이루는 것에 집중하며 하나님의 계획에 대한 용기와 확신의 완벽한 본을 보여주셨습니다.
오늘날 동일한 예수님이 그분의 영으로 우리 안에 살고 계시며, 그분의 담대함은 우리의 담대함입니다. 당신은 예수님처럼 아버지를 완전히 신뢰하고, 그분의 사랑과 능력과 당신의 삶을 향한 완전한 목적을 확신하며 살아야 합니다. 시편 118:6은 말합니다. “여호와는 내 편이시라 내가 두려워하지 아니하리니 사람이 내게 어찌할까”
더욱이 사도 바울은 디모데후서 1:7에서 이 진리를 강조합니다. “하나님이 우리에게 주신 것은 두려워하는 마음이 아니요 오직 능력과 사랑과 절제하는 마음이니” 할렐루야! 그리스도 안에서 당신이 누구인지와 그분과의 하나됨을 담대하게 고백하십시오. 바로 이것이 유대인들을 화나게 했습니다. 그들의 종교적인 사고방식은 예수님이 아버지와 하나 되심을 말할 때의 담대함과 확신을 받아들이거나 공감할 수 없었습니다. 그리고 우리는 예수님과 동일합니다.
고백

SPEAK BOLDLY OF YOUR ONENESS WITH HIM
“I and my Father are one. John 10:30″ (Isaiah 41:10).
In John 10:32-38 we read about the Lord Jesus and the scepticism of the Jewish leaders as they accused Him of blasphemy, seeking an opportunity to arrest Him. Verse 39 says, “Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand” (John 10:39).
Now, notice the latter portion that says “he escaped out of their hand.” Some have said He escaped out of fear; that’s not true, because He didn’t have it in Him to fear. Remember, He faced death and refused to avoid it even when He had the chance. He escaped on this occasion because it wasn’t the appointed time for His sacrifice.
If He had allowed them to harm Him, the Father would have intervened, and they would have been destroyed. Jesus knew this. He said in Matthew 26:53, “Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?” This was the Son of God, fully aware of His authority and the power of angels at His command.
Consider Elisha and his servant, when they were surrounded by an army. The servant was afraid, but Elisha told him, “Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.” Then Elisha prayed, “Lord, open his eyes, that he may see,” and the young man saw that the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire around Elisha (2 Kings 6:16-17).
If that happened with Elisha, then think about the Lord Jesus. He knew He had myriads of angels with Him. His actions were purposeful, demonstrating that He was always in control. Even under pressure, He maintained His focus on fulfilling the will of the Father, showing us the perfect example of courage and confidence in God’s plan.
This same Jesus lives in us today by His Spirit, and His boldness is ours. Like Him, you must trust the Father completely, walking in the assurance of His love, power, and perfect purpose for your life. Psalm 118:6 says, “The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?”
Furthermore, the Apostle Paul in 2 Timothy 1:7 reinforces this truth: “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” Hallelujah! So be bold in affirming who you are in Christ and your oneness with Him. That was what got the Jews mad; their religious minds couldn’t accept or relate with the audacity and conviction with which Jesus spoke of His oneness with the Father. And we’re just like Him.
CONFESSION
I walk in the boldness and courage of Christ; fear has no place in me. I’m bold, courageous, daring and audacious in affirming my oneness with the Lord. I live boldly in Him, full of faith and confidence in His divine protection, guidance, and plan for my life. And I thank the Lord for the victory I have in Christ Jesus. Amen.
