Understanding Helps You Apply The Word Correctly
“어리석은 자들아 너희는 명철할지니라 미련한 자들아 너희는 마음이 밝을지니라”(잠 8:5)
하나님의 말씀을 이해하는 것은 말씀을 우리 삶에 효과적으로 적용하는 데 중요합니다. 성경은 “지혜가 제일이니 지혜를 얻으라 네가 얻은 모든 것을 가지고 명철을 얻을지니라”(잠 4:7)고 말합니다. 주 예수님께서는 마태복음 13:3-8에서 씨 뿌리는 자의 비유를 말씀하시면서 이해의 중요성을 강조하셨습니다.
예수님께서는 씨 뿌리는 자의 비유를 통해 씨 뿌리는 사람이 씨를 뿌리러 나갔을 때, 씨들이 각기 다른 땅에 떨어졌다고 설명하셨습니다. 어떤 씨는 길가에 떨어져 공중의 새들이 와서 가져갔기 때문에 그 씨는 자라날 기회가 없었습니다. 주 예수님께서는 그러한 사람들의 문제가 그들이 들은 말씀을 이해하지 못하는 것이라고 강조하셨습니다. “아무나 천국 말씀을 듣고 깨닫지 못할 때는 악한 자가 와서 그 마음에 뿌려진 것을 빼앗나니 이는 곧 길 가에 뿌려진 자요”(마 13:19)
하나님의 말씀의 실제적 적용은 당신의 이해에 달려있습니다. 당신은 이해하지 못한 하나님의 말씀을 실천할 수 없습니다. 이해하지 못한다면 성경적 원리와 가르침을 일상 생활에 효과적으로 적용하는 것은 어려워집니다.

디모데후서 2:15은 말합니다. “하나님께 인정받는 자(어려움을 통해 시험을 치른 자), 부끄러울 것이 없는 일꾼으로, 진리의 말씀을 바르게 분별하고 바르게 가르치는 자 [올바르게 다루고 능숙하게 가르치는 자]가 되기 위해 공부하고, 갈망하고, 최선을 다하십시오.”(확대번역본) 하나님의 말씀을 이해하는 것을 최우선으로 하여 확신있게 그리고 신실하게 하나님의 말씀을 당신의 삶에 적용하십시오. 이해를 통해 성경의 진리를 온전히 받아들이고 진리를 따라 행동할 수 있음을 아십시오.

사랑하는 아버지, 하나님의 말씀을 통해 나에게 지혜와 이해를 주시니 감사합니다. 왕국의 진리와 신비에 대한 깊은 통찰력을 주시는 성령님께 감사드립니다. 왕국의 원리를 이해하고 일상 생활에서 바르게 적용할 수 있는 분별력을 주시니 감사합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

UNDERSTANDING HELPS YOU APPLY THE WORD CORRECTLY
“O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart” (Proverbs 8:5).
Understanding God’s Word is crucial to applying it effectively in our lives. The Bible says, “Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding” (Proverbs 4:7). The Lord Jesus Himself emphasized the significance of understanding in Matthew 13:3-8 when He told the parable of the sower.
In His illustration, He explained that as the sower went forth to sow his seeds, they fell into different grounds. Some fell by the wayside and the birds of the air came and picked them up and they had no chance to grow. The Lord Jesus however highlighted the problem of this group of people to be their lack of understanding of the Word they heard: “When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.”
The practical application of God’s Word hinges on your understanding of it. You can’t put to work God’s Word that you don’t understand. Without understanding, it becomes challenging to implement biblical principles and teachings effectively in your daily life.

PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the wisdom and understanding you grant me through your Word. Thank you for the Holy Spirit who grants me deep insight into the truths and mysteries of the Kingdom. Thank you for granting me a discerning heart to comprehend and rightly apply the principles of the Kingdom in my daily life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
