Don’t Say It’s Not Working
“선한 사람은 마음에 쌓은 선에서 선을 내고 악한 자는 그 쌓은 악에서 악을 내나니 이는 마음에 가득한 것을 입으로 말함이니라”(눅 6:45)
당신이 말하면, 일이 일어납니다. 당신의 말은 강력합니다. 당신의 말은 무언가를 창조하거나 파괴합니다. 성경은 죽고 사는 것이 혀의 힘에 달렸다고 말합니다(잠 18:21). 그래서 우리는 올바르게 말하는 것을 강조합니다. 모든 상황에 하나님의 말씀을 선포하는 것입니다. 당신은 자신이 말하는 바를 얻게 됩니다.
우리가 방금 읽은 오늘의 본문 구절에 대해 생각해 보십시오. “선한 사람은 마음에 쌓은 선에서 선을 내고 악한 자는 그 쌓은 악에서 악을 내나니 이는 마음에 가득한 것을 입으로 말함이니라” 당신이 자신이 하는 말을 통해 선 혹은 악, 생명 혹은 사망, 건강 혹은 아픔, 부 혹은 가난을 낳게 됩니다. 이는 당신에게 달렸습니다. 당신이 무엇을 말하는 지에 달렸습니다.
당신은 “말했지만 아무 일도 일어나지 않았습니다”고 말할 수 있습니다. 누가 당신에게 아무 일도 일어나지 않았다고 말했습니까? 그것은 마치 씨앗을 심고, 미처 자라기 전에 그 씨앗을 땅에서 파내는 것과 같습니다. 씨앗은 하룻밤 사이에 싹이 트지 않습니다. 그러나 그 씨앗이 좋은 환경 가운데 심겨졌다면 반드시 자라날 것입니다. 말은 씨앗입니다.
따라서 당신은 계속해서 말씀을 말해야 합니다. 우리가 종종 말하듯이 “계속 말씀을 말하십시오. 멈추지 마십시오!” 당신이 말씀을 선포할 때, 그 말씀이 역사합니다. 이사야 55:10-11에서 주님께서는 “이는 비와 눈이 하늘로부터 내려서 그리로 되돌아가지 아니하고 땅을 적셔서 소출이 나게 하며 싹이 나게 하여 파종하는 자에게는 종자를 주며 먹는 자에게는 양식을 줌과 같이 내 입에서 나가는 말도 이와 같이 헛되이 내게로 되돌아오지 아니하고 나의 기뻐하는 뜻을 이루며 내가 보낸 일에 형통하리라”(사 55:10-11)”고 말씀하셨습니다.
이 구절은 하나님의 말씀의 능력, 불변성, 무너지지 않음, 오류 없음을 보여줍니다. 당신의 말이 이와 같은 능력을 가지고 있다는 것을 아십니까? 기억하십시오. 당신은 그분과 같습니다. 당신은 그분의 형상과 모습을 따라 창조되었습니다. 당신은 주께서 그러하심과 같이 이 세상에서 그러합니다(요일 4:17). 당신의 입에 있는 하나님의 말씀은 하나님께서 말씀하시는 것입니다.
말씀이 역사하지 않는다고 생각하기를 멈추십시오. 사탄이 당신을 거짓된 허상을 보도록 감각의 영역으로 끌어들이는 것을 허락하지 마십시오. 성경은 말합니다. “거짓되고 헛된 것을 숭상하는 모든 자는 자기에게 베푸신 은혜를 버렸사오나”(욘 2:8)
고백
내가 말할 때, 그것은 이루어집니다. 내 말은 강력하기 때문입니다. 나는 내가 말하는 바를 생산해냅니다. 나는 하나님으로부터 말하고, 하나님의 말씀을 말하기 때문입니다. 내 삶은 하나님의 선하심, 사랑, 자비, 은혜의 증거입니다. 나는 그분의 공의로움의 증거이며, 그분의 의, 신성한 건강, 번영, 평안, 기쁨 가운데 삽니다. 아멘!

DON’T SAY IT’S NOT WORKING
“A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh” (Luke 6:45).
When you speak, things happen. Your words are powerful; they create or destroy. The Bible says death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). This is the reason we emphasize speaking right; affirming God’s Word on all occasions. What you say is what you get.
Ponder again what we read in our opening scripture. It says, “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.” Through the words you speak, you bring forth good or evil, life or death, sickness or health, poverty or wealth. It’s up to you. It’s about what you say.
You may say, “I’ve been speaking, but nothing has been happening.” Who told you nothing has been happening? That’s like planting your seeds and digging them out of the ground before they grow. Seeds don’t germinate overnight; but once they’re planted in the right environment, they most certainly will grow. Words are seeds.
Therefore, you have to keep speaking the Word. Like we often say, “Keep saying it; don’t stop talking it!” When you affirm the Word, it works. In Isaiah 55:10-11, the Lord said, “For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”
This shows the power, immutability, impregnability and infallibility of the Word of God. Are you aware that your words hold the same power? Remember, you’re like Him; you’re created in His image and in His likeness. As He is, so are you in this world (1 John 4:17). The Word of God in your mouth is God talking.
Quit thinking it’s not working. Don’t allow Satan to get you into the sense-realm of trying to observe lying vanities. The Bible says, “They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy” (Jonah 2:8).
CONFESSION
When I speak, it comes to pass, because my words are powerful; they produce what I say, because I speak from God and speak His Word. My life is a testimony of God’s goodness, love, mercy and grace; I’m the proof of His equity, and I walk in His righteousness, in divine health, prosperity, peace and joy. Amen!
