사람들에게 알리는 것은 당신의 일입니다
It’s Your Job To Let Them Know
“누구든지 주의 이름을 부르는 자는 구원을 받으리라 그런즉 그들이 믿지 아니하는 이를 어찌 부르리요 듣지도 못한 이를 어찌 믿으리요 전파하는 자가 없이 어찌 들으리요”(롬 10:13-14)
전 세계의 많은 사람들은 여전히 죄의 통치권 아래 살고 있으며, 예수 그리스도께서 그들을 죄의 권세에서 해방하기 위해 오셨다는 사실을 모르고 있습니다. 그들은 하나님께서 원하시는 대로 의롭게 살도록 그들에게 생명을 주시고자 예수 그리스도께서 오셨다는 사실을 모릅니다. 그들에게 이 사실을 알리는 것이 바로 우리의 일입니다.
우리는 다른 사람들이 진리를 찾도록 돕고 구원의 길로 인도하도록 성령을 받았습니다. 그것이 당신이 이곳에 있는 이유입니다. 하나님의 영은 당신을 통해 당신의 세상에 그분의 말씀을 알리기 위해 당신의 삶을 하나님의 임재와 능력과 은혜로 가득 채우셨습니다.
모든 사람은 자신의 세상을 가지고 있습니다. 당신이 살고 있는 세상, 당신이 접촉할 수 있는 영역이 있습니다. 누군가가 당신의 세상에 들어오면 그들은 예수님에 대해 알게 되어야 합니다. 그들은 오직 당신을 통해서만 예수님께서 얼마나 친절하고 자애로우신지, 그리고 예수님께서 그들을 위해 어떤 일들을 행하셨는지 알게 될 것입니다.
당신의 세상은 사람들이 자신의 삶을 변화시키기 위해 하나님의 말씀을 듣고 받아들이는 곳이어야 합니다. 그래서 저는 당신에게 다음과 같은 질문을 하겠습니다. 당신의 세상에서는 어떤 일이 일어나고 있습니까? 당신의 세상에서 그리스도를 알리고 있습니까? 아니면 다른 일에 우선순위를 두고 있습니까? 사람들에게 예수님에 대해 이야기하고, 그분의 임재를 느끼게 하십시오.
성령님은 이 땅에 계시지만 몸을 가지신 것이 아니므로 우리의 몸을 사용하신다는 점을 이해하십시오. 예수님께서 이 땅에 계실 때, 성령님께서는 예수님의 몸에 사셨습니다. 예수님께서는 성령님을 “내 안에 거하시는 아버지”(요 14:10)라고 부르셨습니다. 그분이 바로 성령님이십니다.
성령님이 기능하시기 위해서는 당신의 몸을 필요로 하십니다. 당신이 그분께 자신을 내어드린다면, 그분은 당신의 세상에 들어오셔서 당신의 세상을 축복하실 것입니다. 그분께서는 당신의 세상에 있는 사람들의 삶을 변화시키실 것입니다. 그분은 그런 일을 행할 능력을 가지고 계십니다. 성경은 말합니다. “… 하나님으로서는 다 하실 수 있느니라”(막 10:27) 그분은 무엇이든 하실 수 있지만, 그분 자신을 나타내시기 위해 당신을 필요로 하십니다.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 제 주변 사람들에게 구원의 메시지를 전하고 아버지의 영원한 축복의 전달자가 될 수 있는 특권을 주셔서 감사드립니다. 저를 통해 더 많은 사람들이 진리를 알게 될 것이며, 그들의 삶은 변화될 것이며, 그들이 당신과 떼려야 뗄 수 없는 하나됨을 완전히 깨닫게 될 것입니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

IT’S YOUR JOB TO LET THEM KNOW
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved…and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?” (Romans 10:13-14).
Many around the world are still living under the dominion of sin, unaware that Jesus Christ came to set them free from the power of sin. They don’t know He came to give them life so they can live righteously as God wants them to. It’s however our job to let them know.
We’ve been given the Holy Spirit to help others find truth and to lead them in the way of salvation. That’s why you’re here; the Spirit of God has filled your life with the presence, power and the grace of God to make His Word known through you to your world.
Everyone has his world. There’s a world you live in, your sphere of contacts. When someone comes into your world, they should learn about Jesus. Only through you will they know how kind and gracious He is and all that He’s done for them.
Your world should be a place where people come to hear and receive God’s Word to transform their lives. So, I ask you: What’s happening in your world? Are you making Christ known to your world or are you prioritizing some other things? Talk about Him and make His presence available to them.
Understand that though the Holy Spirit is here on earth, He doesn’t have His own body, so He uses our bodies. When Jesus walked the earth, the Holy Spirit lived in the body of Jesus. He was the one Jesus called, “my Father that lives in me” (John 14:10). That’s the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit needs your body to function. If you’ll yield to Him, He’ll come into your world and bless it. He’ll change their lives; He has the power to do it. The Bibles says, “…for with God all things are possible” (Mark 10:27). He can do anything, but He needs you to express Himself.
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the privilege to share the message of salvation with those around me, and be a conduit of your eternal blessings. Through me, many more will come into the knowledge of the truth, their lives will be transformed, and they’ll become fully aware of their inextricable oneness with you, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
