의의 열매
Fruits Of Righteousness
“예수 그리스도(기름부음 받은 자)로 말미암은 (하나님 앞에 설 수 있고 바른 일을 하게 하는) 의의 열매들로 가득하여 [하나님의 영광이 나타나고 인식되도록] 하나님의 영광과 찬양이 되기를 구하노라.”(빌 1:11, 확대번역본)
우리가 의의 나무라는 사실을 아십니까? 이사야 61:3은 말합니다. “무릇 시온에서 슬퍼하는 자에게 화관을 주어 그 재를 대신하며 기쁨의 기름으로 그 슬픔을 대신하며 찬송의 옷으로 그 근심을 대신하시고 그들이 의의 나무 곧 여호와께서 심으신 그 영광을 나타낼 자라 일컬음을 받게 하려 하심이라” 우리는 주님께서 의의 열매를 맺도록 심으신 의의 나무입니다. 할렐루야!
이는 요한복음 15:5에서 주님께서 하신 말씀을 생각나게 합니다. “나는 포도나무요 너희는 가지라 그가 내 안에, 내가 그 안에 거하면 사람이 열매를 많이 맺나니 나를 떠나서는 너희가 아무 것도 할 수 없음이라” 주님께서는 8절에서 이어서 말씀하십니다. “너희가 열매를 많이 맺으면 내 아버지께서 영광을 받으실 것이요 너희는 내 제자가 되리라” 우리의 삶이 풍성한 의의 열매, 즉 의의 일들로 가득 차 있을 때, 우리가 그분의 제자라는 사실이 드러납니다.
당신이 어디에 있든지 의의 열매를 나타내십시오. 의의 일을 하십시오. 당신은 그리스도 예수 안에서 하나님의 의이기 때문입니다. 당신은 자신의 정체성을 드러내게 될 것입니다. 압박 가운데 있을 때 당신은 자신 안에 있는 것을 드러내게 될 것입니다.
따라서 당신이 의의 나무, 곧 그리스도 안에서 하나님의 의이므로 의 안에서 행하고 의의 일을 하는 것은 당신의 본성입니다. 마태복음 10:8에서 예수님께서는 의의 열매와 일들을 값없이 나타내라고 명하셨습니다. “병든 자를 고치며 죽은 자를 살리며 나병환자를 깨끗하게 하며 귀신을 쫓아내되 너희가 거저 받았으니 거저 주라”
에베소서 4:24-25은 말합니다. “하나님을 따라 의와 진리의 거룩함으로 지으심을 받은 새 사람을 입으라 그런즉 거짓을 버리고 각각 그 이웃과 더불어 참된 것을 말하라 이는 우리가 서로 지체가 됨이라” 그리고 에베소서 5:1-2, 8-10은 말합니다. “그러므로 사랑을 받는 자녀 같이 너희는 하나님을 본받는 자가 되고 그리스도께서 너희를 사랑하신 것 같이 너희도 사랑 가운데서 행하라 그는 우리를 위하여 자신을 버리사 향기로운 제물과 희생제물로 하나님께 드리셨느니라 … 너희가 전에는 어둠이더니 이제는 주 안에서 빛이라 빛의 자녀들처럼 행하라 빛의 열매는 모든 착함과 의로움과 진실함에 있느니라 주께 기쁘시게 할 것이 무엇인가 시험하여 보라”
기억하십시오. 우리는 그분의 작품이며 그리스도 안에서 선한 일을 위하여 창조되었습니다(엡 2:10).
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 나를 의의 열매를 맺도록 의의 나무로 만들고 심어주시니 감사합니다. 내 삶은 하나님의 의를 나타내며 세상을 향한 하나님의 선하심에 대한 증거입니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

FRUITS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
“May you abound in and be filled with the fruits of righteousness (of right standing with God and right doing) which come through Jesus Christ (the Anointed One), to the honor and praise of God [that His glory may be both manifested and recognized]” (Philippians 1:11 AMPC).
Did you know that we’re trees of righteousness? Isaiah 61:3 says, “To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.” We’re trees of righteousness, planted by the Lord to produce fruits of righteousness. Hallelujah!
It brings to mind the words of the Master in John 15:5, “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” In the 8th verse, He continued, “Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples” (John 15:8). We show ourselves to be His disciples when our lives are filled with abundant fruits of righteousness; the works of righteousness.
Everywhere you find yourself, manifest the fruits of righteousness; produce works of righteousness, because you’re the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Who you are is what you’ll manifest. Whatever is inside you is what will manifest under pressure.
Therefore, because you’re a tree of righteousness—the righteousness of God in Christ—it’s your nature to walk in righteousness and do works of righteousness. In Matthew 10:8, the Lord Jesus charged us to freely manifest fruits and works of righteousness when He said, “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.”
Ephesians 4:24-25 (NIV) says, “and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbour, for we are all members of one body.” And Ephesians 5:1-2 & 8-10 (NIV) says, “Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God… For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord.”
Remember, we’re His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works. (Ephesians 2:10).
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for making me a tree of righteousness, planted by you to produce fruits of righteousness. My life is a reflection of your righteousness, and a testimony of your goodness to the world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
