You Can Cast Out Demons From Anywhere

“병든 자를 고치며 죽은 자를 살리며 나병환자를 깨끗하게 하며 귀신을 쫓아내되 너희가 거저 받았으니 거저 주라”(마 10:8)

“각 사람에게서 귀신들을 쫓아낼 수는 있지만, 한 도시 전체에서 귀신들을 쫓아낼 수는 없습니다.”라고 말하는 사람들이 있습니다. 그러나 그것은 사실이 아닙니다. 우리는 마가복음 5장에서 예수님이 귀신을 쫓아내는 일을 통해 그분의 권위를 보여주신 매우 흥미로운 이야기를 읽을 수 있습니다. 예수님은 무덤 사이에 살며 한 군단의 귀신이 그 안에 살고 있는 귀신 들린 사람을 마주치셨습니다.

그 사람이 멀리서 예수님을 봤습니다. 귀신은 그 사람을 통해 “지극히 높으신 하나님의 아들 예수여 나와 당신이 무슨 상관이 있나이까 원하건대 하나님 앞에 맹세하고 나를 괴롭히지 마옵소서”(막 5:7)라고 말했습니다. 성경은 귀신이 “자기를 그 지방에서 내보내지 마시기를 간구”(막 5:10)했다고 말합니다.

귀신들조차 예수님이 그들을 그 지방에서 쫓아낼 수 있다는 것을 알았고, 즉시 그분께 간구하기 시작했습니다. “지방”이 시골, 지역 혹은 영역 중 무엇을 의미하는지 별 상관이 없습니다. 그들은 예수님이 자신들을 그곳에서 쫓아낼 수 있다는 사실을 알았습니다. 귀신들은 그때도 그 사실을 알았고, 오늘날에도 여전히 알고 있습니다! 우리는 귀신들을 쫓아낼 동일한 권세를 받았습니다.

예수님은 “믿는 자들에게는 이런 표적이 따르리니 곧 그들이 내 이름으로 귀신을 쫓아내며 새 방언을 말하며”(막 16:17)라고 말씀하셨습니다. 예수님은 우리에게 귀신을 쫓아내는 권세를 주셨습니다. 그분은 장소의 제한을 두지 않으셨습니다. 우리는 어느 곳에서나 귀신들을 쫓아낼 수 있습니다. 할렐루야!

당신의 도시, 주, 나라에 대한 주도권을 가지십시오! 당신의 나라에서 사탄의 영향력을 끊어내십시오. 당신의 나라에서 사탄을 쫓아내십시오! 어떤 지역에 혼란, 무정부 상태, 소란이 있을 때, 많은 사람들이 그런 부정적인 일들의 배후에 사탄이 있음을 깨닫지 못합니다. 그러나 당신은 예수 이름으로 자신의 세상을 책임지고, 정복하고, 다스리기 위해 하늘과 땅의 모든 능력과 권세를 받았습니다. 할렐루야!

기도

YOU CAN CAST OUT DEMONS FROM ANYWHERE

“Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give”(Matthew 10:8).

There’re those who say, “You can cast demons out of individuals but you can’t cast them out of a city.” But that’s not true. In Mark 5, we find a very interesting story of Jesus demonstrating His authority in casting out devils. He came across a demoniac who lived among tombs, and had a legion of demons.

When the man saw Jesus from afar, the demon, speaking through him, said, “What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not” (Mark 5:7). The Bible says the demon “besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country” (Mark 5:10).

Even the demons knew Jesus could send them out of the country and they immediately began to plead with Him. Whether “the country” means countryside, a region or a territory, it makes no difference. They understood that Jesus could send them out of the place; they knew it then, and they still know it today! We’ve been given that same authority to put them to flight.

Jesus said, “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues” (Mark 16:17 NKJV). Jesus gave us authority to cast out demons; He didn’t limit it to any place. We can cast out devils from anywhere. Hallelujah!

Take control of your city, state, and country! Cut off the influence of Satan in your country. Run him out of your country! Oftentimes, when there’s chaos, anarchy and turmoil in a place, many don’t realise that it’s the devil that’s behind such negative activities. But you’ve been vested with all power and authority in heaven and in earth to subdue, dominate and take charge of your world, using the Name of Jesus. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

The devil is a fully defeated foe, and I’ve been vested with all power and authority in heaven and in earth to subdue, dominate and take charge of my world. I therefore demand, in the Name of Jesus Christ that the demons that influence and cause violence, shortage and opposition to the Gospel cease and desist from their operations in my nation. Amen.

사도행전 3:1-16에 등장하는 태어날 때부터 앉은뱅이로 태어나 성전 미문에서 구걸하던 사람을 떠올려봅시다. 주 예수님도 그 성전에 여러 번 계셨음에도 불구하고 그 사람의 상태는 바뀌지 않았습니다.

그런데 어느 날 베드로와 요한이 지나갈 때, 그가 돈을 구걸했습니다. 그러자 베드로가 그를 쳐다보며 “우리를 보라”고 말했습니다. 그 사람은 무엇을 얻을까 하여 관심을 보였습니다. 그리고 나서 베드로는 “은과 금은 내게 없거니와 내게 있는 이것을 네게 주노니 나사렛 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 일어나 걸으라”(행 3:6)고 선포했습니다.

베드로가 그 사람의 오른손을 잡아 그를 일으켜 세웠습니다. 즉시 그 앉은뱅이의 발과 발목에 힘이 생겼습니다. 만일 베드로가 그를 당기려고 했을 때, 그가 저항했다면 어떤 일이 일어났을 지 상상해 보십시오. 아마 그는 기적을 받지 못했을 것입니다. 그 사람의 삶에 기적적인 변화가 일어난 이유는 그가 행동하라는 요청에 응했기 때문입니다. 그는 말씀과 일치하는 행동으로 말씀을 받았습니다.

ACT YOUR FAITH AND EXPERIENCE THE MIRACULOUS

“So also faith, if it does not have works (deeds and actions of obedience to back it up), by itself is destitute of power (inoperative, dead)” (James 2:17 AMPC).

Let’s consider the example of the man in Acts 3:1-16, who was lame from birth and begged for alms at the gate of the temple called, Beautiful. The Lord Jesus Himself had been in that very temple multiple times, yet the man’s condition didn’t change.

But on a certain day, as Peter and John walked by, he begged them for money. Then, the Bible says that Peter looked at him intently and said, “Look on us.” Expecting to receive something, the man gave them his attention. Peter then declared, “Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have, give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.”

Peter then took the man by the right hand and lifted him up. Immediately, the lame man’s feet and ankle bones received strength. Imagine if the man had resisted as Peter was trying to yank him up; he probably wouldn’t have received his miracle. The miraculous change in the man’s life occurred because the call to action was answered. He received the Word with corresponding action.

When you receive the Word about your prosperity and finances, for example, it’s important to back it up by the right actions. Without taking action, your situation may remain the same. For example, 2 Corinthians 8:7 (NIV) says, “But just as you excel in everything–in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us–see that you also excel in this grace of giving.” What do you do when you meditate on this truth?

First, understand that the Word has the power to change your situation. The Word brings you transformation through the power and Spirit of God. Therefore, when the Word comes to you like what we read in 2 Corinthian 8:7 above, recognize the call to action that accompanies it and respond.

Whenever you get a prompting from the Word or in your spirit as a result of the Word, don’t hesitate or wait. Seize the moment and respond immediately. By acting in faith, you position yourself to experience the miraculous blessings of the Word.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the glory of your Word and the transformation I experience even now as your Word takes root in my spirit, producing in me fruits of righteousness. I respond and take action on your Word; therefore, your glory is seen in my life, and I experience the fullness of your blessings and abundant provisions, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

A Call To Action

죄인들에게 구원의 메시지를 전할 때, 그들에게 믿음을 행하고 구원받을 기회를 주어야 합니다. 믿음을 행동하라는 요청이 있어야 합니다. 그들에게 메시지에 근거한 믿음을 실천할 기회를 주지 않는다면, 그들의 심령에 심겨진 씨앗은 사라질 것입니다. 사탄은 심령에 심긴 씨앗을 훔쳐갈 수 있습니다(마 13:18-19).

하나님의 말씀의 씨앗이 사람의 마음에 뿌리를 내렸다는 증거는 그의 믿음의 반응과 행동입니다. 그가 믿음으로 반응할 때까지는 말씀을 제대로 듣지 못했다고 말할 수 있습니다. 말씀을 제대로 들으면 그 안에 믿음이 생깁니다.

믿음은 들음에서 납니다(롬 10:17). 그리고 믿음은 하나님의 말씀에 대한 인간 영의 반응입니다. 따라서 반응은 매우 중요합니다. 아픈 사람들을 섬길 때도 마찬가지입니다. 바울이 루스드라에서 한 일을 예시로 보겠습니다. 태어날 때부터 불구였던 사람이 바울의 가르침을 열심히 들었습니다. 성경은 바울이 그 사람에게 치유 받을 만한 믿음이 있다는 것을 알았다고 말합니다. 바울은 그에게 눈을 고정하고 “일어나 너의 발로 서라!”고 명령했습니다. 그 사람은 벌떡 일어나 걸었고, 영광스럽게 치유되었습니다!

죄인, 병든 사람, 억압받는 사람, 우울한 사람, 그 어떤 사람에게 사역할 때이든지 우리는 그들의 믿음이 활성화되도록 명확한 행동 지침을 주어야 합니다. 단지 말씀만 전하고 그들이 다음에 무엇을 해야 할지 모르는 상태에 두지 마십시오. 그들이 받은 말씀을 소화하고, 자신의 믿음을 행할 수 있게 하십시오.

A CALL TO ACTION

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Romans 10:9).

When we preach the message of salvation to sinners, we must give them the opportunity to act their faith and receive salvation. There must be a call to action. If we don’t give them an opportunity to act their faith on the message, the seed sown in their hearts could be lost; Satan can steal it from their hearts (Matthew 13:18-19).

The proof that the seed of God’s Word has taken root in someone’s heart is their response and action of faith. Until a person responds in faith, it can be said that they have not truly heard the Word. When the Word is truly heard, it produces faith within the individual.

Faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17); and faith is the response of the human spirit to the Word of God. So the response is so important. It’s the same when we minister to the sick. Take what Paul did in Lystra as an example. A man who had been crippled since birth listened intently to Paul’s teachings. The Bible says Paul perceived that the man had faith to be healed and locked eyes with him, and then commanded, “Stand up on your feet!” The man jumped to his feet and walked; gloriously healed!

In ministering to people, be it the sinner, the sick, the oppressed or the depressed, we must provide clear instructions for their faith to be activated. Don’t just preach the Word and leave them wondering what to do next; put them through and let them act their faith on the words they’ve received.

Even now, while reading this, if you’ve never been born again, turn to the “Prayer of Salvation” on page 79; pray that prayer, mean it with all your heart and immediately, you’ll be saved, translated into the kingdom of God. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, your Word is life to me, and as I hear and receive your Word, I’m compelled to respond, because I’m a doer of the Word. My faith prevails as I walk in the consciousness of all that the death, burial, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ consummated for me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Be Spiritually Sensitive

“근신하라 깨어라 너희 대적 마귀가 우는 사자 같이 두루 다니며 삼킬 자를 찾나니”(벧전 5:8)

수년 전, 한 여성으로부터 귀신을 쫓아내고 있었습니다. 그때 귀신은 저항하면서 “나는 나가지 않을거야. 그녀의 자궁관을 없애는 건 내 일이야!”라고 말했습니다.

물론 저는 귀신과 대화하려고 애쓴 것이 아닙니다. 그저 “귀신아, 예수 이름으로 지금 당장 나와라!”고 말했습니다. 그러자 귀신은 비명을 지르며 그 여성으로부터 나왔습니다. 나중에 그 여성은 어떻게 잘못된 진단을 받고 양쪽 난관 절제술을 받았는지 저에게 설명해주었습니다. 그녀는 그 고통스러운 실수에 대한 책임이 귀신에게 있다는 것을 몰랐습니다.

이런 일이 많은 사람들에게 일어났습니다. 전혀 필요하지 않았던 수술을 받은 사람들이 있습니다. 어떤 사람들은 수술 중에 사망했습니다. 많은 병원들은 귀신의 영들이 머물며 의사들에게 잘못된 일을 하도록 영향을 끼치고 있는 죽음의 덫입니다. 우리는 극심한 영적 갈등과 전쟁의 시대에 살고 있습니다.

아홉 살쯤 된 어린 소녀가 귀신에 사로잡혔습니다. 소녀의 행동이 갑자기 바뀌고 건강이 위태로워졌습니다. 그 누구도 소녀에게 무슨 일이 일어났는지 알 수 없었습니다. 소녀는 “여왕”과 또래의 다른 소녀들과 함께 강바닥에 있는 자신을 발견하는 아주 이상한 꿈을 꾸기 시작했습니다.

소녀의 삶은 엉망이 되었습니다. 시간이 흘러 이 모든 일이 학교에서 일어났다는 사실이 밝혀졌습니다. 귀신들린 소녀의 친구가 특별한 선물을 소녀에게 주었고, 그때 귀신이 소녀에게 들어가게 되었습니다. 삶은 영적입니다. 당신이 눈으로 볼 수 있고 자연적인 영역에서 연관되는 모든 것은 영적인 영역으로부터 왔습니다.

영적으로 민감하여 적이 나타날 때마다 분별하고 결단력 있게 대처하는 것이 중요합니다. 깨어 있으십시오. 주 예수님은 우리에게 깨어 기도하라고 권고하셨습니다(막 13:33). 자주 방언으로 말하십시오. 당신이 방언으로 기도할 때, 영적인 실재들이 당신의 영에 드러나 원수의 계략을 알게 되기 때문입니다. 당신은 어떤 상황이든지 “진짜” 진리를 보게 되고 알게 될 것입니다. 하나님을 찬양합니다!

고백

나는 주 안에서 그리고 그분의 힘의 능력 안에서 강합니다. 나는 항상 그분의 말씀을 내 마음과 내 입에 두어 마귀의 모든 전략, 계략, 책략, 조작을 무력화합니다. 내가 방언으로 말할 때 영적인 실재들이 내 영에 드러나며, 어떤 상황에 대해서도 “진짜” 진리를 보고 알게 됩니다. 할렐루야!

BE SPIRITUALLY SENSITIVE

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8).

Many years ago, while casting a devil out from a dear lady, the demon, trying to put up some resistance, said, “I’m not coming out; I’m responsible for the removal of her fallopian tube!”

Of course, I didn’t bother to engage the demon in a dialogue; I simply said, “You’re coming out right now, in the Name of Jesus!” And he screamed and came out of the lady. Later on, the lady began to explain to me how she was given the wrong diagnosis and underwent a bilateral salpingectomy. She didn’t know demons were responsible for that cruel mistake.

This has happened to a lot of people. There’re people who have had to go through surgeries they never needed; some died in the process. Many hospitals are deathtraps, where demon spirits lodge and inspire doctors to do the wrong things. We’re living in the days of intense spiritual conflicts and warfare.

A young girl of about nine years became demon-possessed; her behaviour suddenly changed and her health became unstable. No one could understand what happened to her. She started having very strange dreams where she’d find herself at the bottom of a river with a “queen” and other girls of her age.

Her life became a mess. It was later discovered that it all happened at her school when her friend, who was demon-possessed, gave her a particular gift item, and the devil entered into her. Life is spiritual; everything you can see with your optical eyes and relate physically with, came from the realm of the spirit.

It’s essential for you to be spiritually sensitive to discern and decisively deal with the enemy whenever he shows up. Be on the alert. The Lord Jesus warned us to watch and pray (Mark 13:33). Speak in tongues often, because as you pray in tongues, spiritual realities are unveiled to your spirit and you won’t be ignorant of the devices of the enemy. You’ll see and will be able to relate with the “real” truth concerning any situation. Praise God!

CONFESSION

I’m strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. I keep His Word in my heart and in my mouth always and therefore discomfit all the stratagems, schemes, manoeuvres, and manipulations of the devil. And as I speak in tongues, spiritual realities are unveiled to my spirit, and I see and relate with the “real” truth concerning any situation. Hallelujah!

열방을 향한 빛

Light To The Nations

“모든 일을 원망과 시비가 없이 하라 이는 너희가 흠이 없고 순전하여 어그러지고 거스르는 세대 가운데서 하나님의 흠 없는 자녀로 세상에서 그들 가운데 빛들로 나타내며”(빌 2:14-15)

세상에는 존재해서는 안 될 가난이 너무 많이 있습니다. 가난은 하나님으로부터 온 것이 아닙니다. 가난은 사람이 만든 것입니다. 세상의 가난과 악함은 사람의 이기심 때문입니다. 사탄이 사람의 마음에 그 이기심을 심어 놓았기 때문입니다. 이 세상의 어둠에 대한 책임은 사탄에게 있습니다.

그러나 하나님께 감사드립니다! 성경은 어둠이 땅을 덮을지라도, 캄캄함이 만민을 덮을지라도 우리는 일어나서 빛을 발해야 한다고 말합니다(사 60:1-3). 하나님은 우리(예수 그리스도의 교회)를 열방을 향한 빛으로 보내셨습니다. 이 마지막 때에 우리는 최대치로 빛날 것입니다.

지금은 하나님의 백성인 우리가 하나님께서 우리에게 주신 것을 사용하여 세상의 빛으로 자리잡아야 하는 때입니다. 성경은 “… 무릇 땅의 어두운 곳에 포악한 자의 처소가 가득하나이다”(시 74:20)라고 말합니다. 그러나 우리가 자리를 차지하게 되면, 지구상에 우리를 이길 수 있는 세력, 대적, 상대는 없습니다.

그러니 일어나 빛을 발하십시오. 당신의 세상에 영향을 끼치십시오. 당신은 세상이 필요로 하는 소망이자 해결책입니다. 주님은 당신 주변 사람들의 삶에 영광, 탁월함, 의미를 주기 위해 당신을 보내셨습니다. 당신은 당신의 세상을 향해 뻗은 하나님의 사랑, 자비, 긍휼함의 손입니다. 할렐루야!

고백

나는 세상이 필요로 하는 소망이자 해결책입니다. 주님께서 내 주변 사람들의 삶에 영광, 탁월함, 의미를 주기 위해 나를 보내셨기 때문입니다. 나는 세상을 향해 뻗은 하나님의 사랑, 자비, 긍휼함의 손입니다. 하나님을 찬양합니다!

“Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world” (Philippians 2:14-15).

There’s so much poverty in the world that’s not supposed to be there. Poverty is not from God; it’s man-made. The poverty and wickedness in the world are because of the selfishness of man, and that’s because Satan introduced that selfishness into man’s heart. He’s responsible for the darkness in our world.

But thanks be unto God! The Bible says even though darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people, we’re to arise and shine (Isaiah 60:1-3). God sent us (the Church of Jesus Christ) as a light to the nations. And in these last days, we’ll shine with maximum intensity.

This is the time for us, as God’s people, to use what God has given us and take our place as the light of the world. The Bible says “…the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty” (Psalm 74:20). But when we take our place, there’s no force, adversary or adversity on earth that can withstand us.

So, arise and shine. Impact your world. You’re the hope and solution that the world needs. The Lord has sent you to bring glory, excellence and meaning to the lives of those around you. You’re His hands of love, mercy and compassion to your world. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

하나님이 우리에게 주신 생명

The Life He’s Given Us

“도둑이 오는 것은 도둑질하고 죽이고 멸망시키려는 것뿐이요 내가 온 것은 양으로 생명을 얻게 하고 더 풍성히 얻게 하려는 것이라”(요 10:10)

많은 사람들이 예수님이 왜 오셨는지 모릅니다. 예수님이 이스라엘 민족을 위해 오셔서 하신 일과 온 세상을 위해 오셔서 하신 일은 다릅니다. 그분은 온 세상에 생명을 충만하게 주려고 오셨습니다.

당신은 오직 자신이 가진 것만 줄 수 있습니다. 예수님은 생명을 가지셨을 뿐만 아니라 생명의 나타남, 곧 생명의 화신이셨습니다(요일 1:2). 성경은 말합니다. “아버지께서 자기 속에 생명이 있음 같이 아들에게도 생명을 주어 그 속에 있게 하셨고”(요 5:26) 이것이 예수님이 우리에게 생명을 충만하게 주실 수 있었던 이유입니다.

그분은 생명을 주는 분이십니다. “성경에 ‘첫 사람 아담은 산 영이 되었다’고 기록한 바와 같이, 마지막 아담은 생명을 주시는 영이 되셨습니다.”(고전 15:45, 새번역)

하나님께서 우리에게 주신 이 생명에는 특징이 있습니다. 바울은 로마서 8:2을 통해 우리가 이 생명에 대해 더욱 잘 이해할 수 있도록 도와줍니다. “이는 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 생명의 성령의 법이 죄와 사망의 법에서 너를 해방하였음이라”(롬 8:2) 바울은 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 생명의 성령의 법이 우리를 죽음으로부터 “해방시켰다”고 말한 것이 아닙니다. 그 법은 우리를 죄와 상관없는 자가 되게 해주었습니다.

THE LIFE HE’S GIVEN US

“The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)” (John 10:10 AMPC).

Many don’t know why Jesus came. There’s a difference between what He came to do for Israel as a nation and what He came to do for the whole world. For the whole world, He came to give life to the full.

You can only give what you have, and Jesus didn’t just have life, He was life personified—the embodiment of life (1 John 1:2). The Bible says, “For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself” (John 5:26). It’s the reason He could give us life to the full. He’s the life-giver: “…it is written, The first man Adam became a living soul. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit” (1 Corinthians 15:45 ASV).

There’s something about this life that He’s given us. Paul helps us understand it some more in Romans 8:2. It says, “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” Paul wasn’t saying the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has “freed” us from death, but that it’s made us death-free.

You’re untouchable by death. You’ve been translated from the realm of death into the realm of life.

CONFESSION

I’m a partaker of the divine nature, filled with the “maximum load” of God. I walk in divine health, prosperity, and victory every day. I am a living testimony of God’s grace, goodness, and love. I walk in the consciousness of my new life in Christ, knowing that I am more than a conqueror and victorious in every situation. Thank you, Father, for the glorious life you’ve given me in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

God Alive In You

“그(그리스도의 사랑의) 너비와 길이와 높이와 깊이가 어떠함을 깨달아 하나님의 모든 충만하신 것으로 너희에게 충만하게 하시기를 구하노라”(엡 3:19)

성경은 말합니다. “… 너희 안에 계신 그리스도시니 곧 영광의 소망이니라”(골 1:27) 당신 안에 계신 그리스도는 당신 안에 살아 계시고 일하시는 하나님을 의미합니다.

고린도후서 5:19은 말합니다. “곧 하나님께서 그리스도 안에 계시사 세상을 자기와 화목하게 하시며 그들의 죄를 그들에게 돌리지 아니하시고 화목하게 하는 말씀을 우리에게 부탁하셨느니라” 예수님이 거리를 거닐며 강력한 기적을 행하셨을 때, 그리스도 안에서 역사하신 분은 하나님이셨습니다.

또한 골로새서 1:19은 “아버지께서는 모든 충만으로 예수 안에 거하게 하시고”라고 말합니다. 예수님이 이 땅에 계셨을 때 모든 신성이 그분 안에 거했습니다. 그분은 살아 계신 하나님이셨습니다. 인간의 몸 안에서 살고 말씀하셨습니다. 그러나 그것이 끝이 아닙니다. 그리스도 안에 계셨던 그 동일한 하나님이 지금 당신 안에 계십니다. 할렐루야!

성령을 받은 사람인 당신에게 하나님은 이제 당신 안에 사십니다. 당신은 그분의 성전입니다. 그분은 당신을 통해 당신의 세상에 영향을 미치십니다. 그분은 죄인들을 어둠에서 그분의 기이한 빛으로 인도하십니다. 당신은 오늘날 이 땅에 있는 그분의 확장입니다

그분의 말씀을 기억하십시오. “… 내가 그들 가운데 거하며 두루 행하여 나는 그들의 하나님이 되고 그들은 나의 백성이 되리라…”(고후 6:16) 오늘날 그분은 당신 안에서 말씀하시고, 당신 안에서 행하십니다. 당신이 누군가에게 예수님에 대해 사역할 때마다 하나님은 당신 안에서 그리고 당신을 통해 일하시고 살아 계십니다.

바로 이것이 당신이 영혼구원에 신실하고 부지런해야 하는 이유입니다. 아버지께서 당신을 통해 그분의 사랑과 의를 나타내시기 때문입니다. 주님은 마가복음 16:15에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “… 온 천하에 다니며 만민에게 복음을 전파하라” 하나님은 당신을 통해 그분의 신성한 임재의 영광으로 이 세상에 영향을 미치고, 성령의 성품을 나타내고, 그분의 영광에 대한 지식으로 땅을 채우고, 열방에 의의 비를 내리십니다. 할렐루야!

고백

나는 어디를 가든지 내 안에 영원히 사시는 아버지와 함께 갑니다. 아버지는 나를 통해 그분의 사랑과 의를 사람들에게 표현하십니다. 내가 그리스도 예수로 말미암아 이 땅에 그분을 나타내는 자이기 때문입니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

GOD ALIVE IN YOU

“And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God” (Ephesians 3:19).

The Bible says, “…Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27). Christ in you means God alive and at work in you.

2 Corinthians 5:19 says, “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” It was God working in Christ as He walked the streets in Bible days doing those mighty miracles that He did.

Also, Colossians 1:19 says, “For it pleased the Father that in him (Christ) should all fulness dwell.” When Jesus walked the earth, all of divinity was at home in Him. He was God alive—walking and talking in a man’s body. But that’s not the end. The same God is in you now as He was in Christ. Hallelujah!

Having received the Holy Spirit, God lives in you now; you’re His temple. Through you, He impacts your world. He brings sinners out of darkness into His marvellous light. You’re His extension in the earth today.

Remember His words, “…I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people” (2 Corinthians 6:16). He’s talking in you and walking in you today. Every time you’re ministering to someone about Jesus, that’s God at work and alive in you and through you.

It’s the reason you must be faithful and diligent in soul winning, because through you, the Father expresses His love and righteousness. He said in Mark 16:15, “…Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Through you, He impacts this world with the glory of His divine presence, demonstrates the character of the Spirit, fills the earth with the knowledge of His glory, and rains righteousness upon the nations. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

Everywhere I go, I go in and with the Father who lives permanently in me. Through me, He expresses His love and righteousness to others, for I’m His extension in the earth by Christ Jesus. Glory to God!

More Than Human

“또 증거는 이것이니 하나님이 우리에게 영생을 주신 것과 이 생명이 그의 아들 안에 있는 그것이니라 아들이 있는 자에게는 생명이 있고 하나님의 아들이 없는 자에게는 생명이 없느니라”(요일 5:11-12)

당신 안에 있는 그리스도는 당신 안에 있는 영원한 생명을 의미합니다. 영원한 생명은 하나님의 생명이자 본성입니다. 오늘의 본문 구절의 시제를 주목해서 보십시오. 하나님이 “우리에게 영생을 주신 것과”라고 말하고 있습니다. 이는 약속이 아니라는 뜻입니다. 하나님은 우리에게 영생을 “주실 예정”이 아니십니다. 당신은 그 생명을 지금 가지고 있습니다. 따라서 요한은 요한일서 5:13에서 다음과 같이 말했습니다. “내가 하나님의 아들의 이름을 믿는 너희에게 이것을 쓰는 것은 너희로 하여금 너희에게 영생이 있음을 알게 하려 함이라”

고백

그리스도는 내 안에 사십니다! 나는 그분의 실재, 은혜, 영광, 왕국, 능력, 인격의 형상입니다! 나는 그분의 충만의 나타남입니다. 그분은 나의 완전함 이십니다! 내가 어떤 어려움을 마주하든지 상관없습니다. 내 안에 어려움을 뚫고 나가는 힘, 능력이 역사하고 있습니다. 내가 필요로 하는 모든 것은 내 안에 살고 계신 위대한 분 안에 모두 있습니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

MORE THAN HUMAN

“And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life” (1 John 5:11-12).

Christ in you means eternal life in you. Eternal life is the life and nature of God: the God-life. Notice the tenses in our theme scripture; it says God “has given us eternal life.” It’s not a promise. He’s not “going” to give us eternal life. You have that life NOW. As a result, John says in the 13th verse, “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life” (1 John 5:13).

He wants you to know that you’re more than human. Your human life has been supplanted by the life and nature of God. This divine life in you has made fellowship and oneness with God possible. You’re by no means an ordinary person. Recall the words of the psalmist in Psalm 82:6, “I have said, Ye are gods, and all of you are children of the most High.”

The same truth is referenced and reiterated by the Lord Jesus in John 10:35 when He said, “If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken.” We are gods, because God gave birth to us. We’re the offspring of the Word: “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever” (1 Peter 1:23). 1 John 4:17 says, “As He is, so are we in this world.”

CONFESSION

Christ lives in me! I’m the expression of His reality, His grace, glory, Kingdom, power and personality! I’m the expression of His fullness; He is my completeness! It makes no difference what challenges I face in life; there’s a force—an empowerment—at work in me to blaze through the barriers. Everything and anything I could ever need is inside the greater One that lives in me. Glory to God!

사탄을 쫓아내십시오

Cut Them Off

“그 때에 예수께서 그에게 말씀하셨다. ‘사탄아, 물러가라. 성경에 기록하기를 ‘주 너의 하나님께 경배하고, 그분만을 섬겨라’ 하였다.’”(마 4:10, 새번역)

주 예수님께서 성경 시대에 여러 사람들에게 사역하실 때 많은 귀신을 쫓아내시면서 사람들이 겪고 있는 많은 고통이 귀신 때문임을 보여주셨습니다. 그리고 마가복음 16:17에서 믿는 자들에게 따르는 표적들을 열거하셨습니다. 그 중 첫 번째 표적이 귀신을 쫓아내는 것입니다.

예수님은 광야에서 보낸 40일을 통해 우리에게 사탄과 그의 귀신들을 어떻게 다뤄야 하는지에 대한 통찰력을 주셨습니다. 사탄은 예수님을 시험하러 왔고, 예수님께 첫 번째 유혹은 돌에게 명령하여 빵이 되도록 만드는 것이었습니다. 그러나 예수님은 신명기를 인용하며 다음과 같이 말씀하셨습니다. “성경에 기록하기를 ‘사람이 빵으로만 살 것이 아니라, 하나님의 입에서 나오는 모든 말씀으로 살 것이다’ 하였다.”(마 4:4, 새번역)

성경에서는 두 번째 유혹으로 이 장면을 보여줍니다. “네가 하나님의 아들이거든, 여기에서 뛰어내려 보아라.”(마 4:6, 새번역) 예수님은 다시 한번 “또 기록되었으되 주 너의 하나님을 시험하지 말라 하였느니라”(마 4:7)고 대답하셨습니다.

그리고 마지막 유혹이 있었습니다. 사탄은 높은 산에서 세상 왕국들을 보여주며 만약 예수님이 그에게 엎드려 절하고 경배하면 그 왕국들을 주겠다고 말했습니다. 그러자 예수님은 “사탄아, 너는 여기서 물러가라!”(마 4:10, 한글흠정역)고 말씀하셨습니다. “여기서 물러가라”에 대한 히브리어 원어는 “사라지다”, “없어지다”라는 의미입니다. 즉, 마귀를 쫓아내는 것입니다!

예수님은 세 번의 유혹에 대해서 사탄에게 동일하게 “성경에 기록하기를…”이라고 말씀하셨습니다. 이를 분명히 밝히고 나서 “사탄아, 너는 여기서 물러가라!”고 말씀하셨습니다. 이것이 바로 사탄을 다루는 방법입니다. 당신은 사탄을 당신의 가정, 몸, 도시, 나라 등에서 쫓아내야 합니다.

만일 당신의 자녀가 아직 당신이 행동을 통제해야 하는 나이라면, 당신은 “사탄아, 이 아이는 내 자녀이다. 그 아이에게서 네 손을 떼라! 여기서 나가라!”고 말해야 합니다. 당신이 그리스도 안에 있는 권세를 행사하는 것이기 때문에 사탄은 당신의 말에 순종해야 합니다. 당신은 예수 이름을 사용하고 사탄과 그의 귀신들을 굴복시킬 법적인 권리와 위임된 능력을 가지고 있습니다. 그들을 쫓아내십시오! 하나님을 찬양합니다!

기도

CUT THEM OFF!

“Get out of here, Satan,” Jesus told him. “For the Scriptures say,`You must worship the Lord your God; serve only him’” (Matthew 4:10 NLT).

When the Lord Jesus ministered to different people in Bible days, He cast out a lot of demons, showing us that demons are responsible for most of the afflictions that people suffer with. And in Mark 16:17, He listed several signs to identify those who believe, and the very first of the signs is that they shall cast out demons.

But during His forty days in the wilderness, He gave us an insight into how to deal with Satan and demons. Satan had come to tempt Him, and the first temptation was for Jesus to command stones to be made bread. In response, Jesus quoted from the Book of Deuteronomy and said, “It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4).

For the second time, the Bible says, “Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple… cast thyself down…” (Matthew 4:6). Again, Jesus responded and said, “It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God” (Matthew 4:7).

Then came the last temptation. At a high mountain, Satan showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment, offering them to Jesus, if He would bow down and worship him: Jesus said, “Get out of here, Satan!” The original word in Hebrew for “Get out of here” signifies “sink out,” “disappear.” That’s casting out the devil!

In those three temptations, Jesus was consistent in emphasizing to Satan, “it is written…,” and after establishing that clearly, He said, “Get out of here!” That’s how to deal with Satan; you cast him out or cut him off from your home, your body, your city, nation, etc.

If it’s your child, and he or she is within the age where you’re still in control of what they do; you say, “Devil, this is my child; take your hands of my child; get out of here!” He’s got to obey, because you’re exercising your authority in Christ. You have the legal right, the power of attorney to use the Name of Jesus and subdue Satan and His demons. Cut them off! Praise God!

PRAYER

Satan has no right to run things in my life, in my home or in the lives of my loved ones; by my authority in Christ, I exercise dominion over him and his demons. I walk in power and in the glory of the Father in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

영광과 덕으로의 부르심

A Calling To Glory And Virtue

“그의 신기한 능력으로 생명과 경건에 속한 모든 것을 우리에게 주셨으니 이는 자기의 영광과 덕으로써 우리를 부르신 이를 앎으로 말미암음이라”(벧후 1:3)

오늘의 본문 구절은 하나님께서 우리를 영광과 덕으로 부르셨다고 말합니다. 이는 우리가 영광, 하늘의 위엄, 탁월함의 삶으로 부름 받았다는 뜻입니다. 어떤 상황에 처해 있든지 당신의 삶은 영광, 위엄, 탁월함의 삶입니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

확대번역본은 하나님께서 “… 그분의 영광과 탁월함(덕)으로 우리를 부르셨다.”고 말합니다. 탁월함이 당신 안에서 역사하고 있으므로 당신의 삶에 평범함이 있어서는 안 됩니다.

사도 바울은 “이는 너희를 부르사 자기 나라와 영광에 이르게 하시는 하나님께 합당히 행하게 하려 함이라”(살전 2:12)고 말했습니다. 하나님께서 우리에게 주신 삶이 얼마나 놀라운지요! 당신은 영광과 덕으로 부르심을 받았는데 어떻게 평범한 삶을 살 수 있겠습니까?

이 세상에 얼마나 어둡고 우울한 일이 일어나는 지와 상관없습니다. 당신의 삶은 오직 한 방향인 앞으로 그리고 위로만 가므로 동요하지 마십시오. 당신은 이 세상에 속하지 않습니다! 당신의 길은 다릅니다. 당신의 길은 영광, 탁월함, 번영, 성공, 평안, 기쁨의 길입니다. 할렐루야!

The verse above says God has called us to glory and virtue. That means we’ve been called to a life of honour, heavenly dignity and excellence. No matter what situation you find yourself in, your life is one of honour, dignity and excellence. Glory to God!

The Amplified Classic says He “…called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue).” There should be no more mediocrity in your life because excellence is working in you.

The Apostle Paul says, “We encouraged you, we comforted you, and we kept urging you to live the kind of life that pleases God, who calls you to share in his own Kingdom and glory” (1 Thessalonians 2:12 GNB). What a life He’s given us! How could you live an ordinary life, when you have a calling to glory and virtue?

It doesn’t matter how dark and gloomy things get in this world; be unruffled, because your journey in life is one direction only: upward and forward. You’re not of this world! Your path is different. It’s a path of glory and excellence, prosperity and success, peace and joy. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

My life is for the glory of God, and I experience His goodness and mercies today; my life is one of honour, excellence, praise, glory, and thanksgiving to the Lord at all times. Hallelujah!
