말씀으로 정결케 되었습니다
Purified By The Word
“너희 가운데 이 같은 자들이 더러 있었으나 너희가 우리 하나님의 영을 통해 주 예수님의 이름으로 씻기고 거룩히 구별되어 의롭게 되었느니라.”(고전 6:11, 한글킹제임스)
사도 바울은 고린도전서 6:11에서 고린도 지역의 그리스도인들의 정체성에 대해 말하며, 그들이 주 예수 그리스도의 이름과 성령으로 말미암아 씻겨지고, 거룩히 구별되고, 의롭게 되었음을 강조합니다. 매우 심오한 내용입니다!
성령께서 바울을 통해 말씀하신 내용에 주목하십시오. 그분은 “너희 가운데 이 같은 자들이 있다”라고 말씀하지 않으셨습니다. 오히려 그분은 9절과 10절에 나열된 불의한 인물들을 언급하면서 “… 너희 중에 이와 같은 자들이 더러 있었으나”라고 말씀하셨습니다. 그렇지만 그들은 어떻게 성령으로 씻긴 것입니까? 바로 말씀을 통해서 가능했습니다!
주 예수님은 요한복음 15:3에서 제자들에게 다음과 같이 말씀하셨습니다. “너희는 내가 일러준 말로 이미 깨끗하여졌으니.” 예수님은 말씀으로 제자들을 정결케 하셨습니다. 예수님이 거룩함과 의의 말씀을 선포하실 때, 제자들은 그 말씀을 듣고 정결케 되었습니다. 하나님을 송축합니다! 오늘날에도 우리가 하나님의 말씀을 나눌 때 동일한 일이 일어납니다. 말씀을 들을 때, 그들의 마음이 모든 불의로부터 정결케 됩니다.
많은 사람들이 하나님의 말씀을 들을 때나 성경 구절을 묵상할 때 갑자기 영 안으로 옮겨지는 것 같다고 간증합니다. 그들은 하나님의 축복과 사랑에 푹 빠집니다. 말씀은 모든 불완전하고, 불건전하고, 부정한 것들을 제거합니다. 얼마나 놀랍습니까! 우리는 말씀으로 정결케 되었습니다. 할렐루야!
기도
말씀은 나에게서 불완전하고, 불건전하고, 부정한 모든 것을 제거합니다. 말씀은 내 삶에서 질병, 가난, 죄, 그리고 모든 어둠의 일들을 제거합니다. 나는 주 예수 이름과 하나님의 영으로 씻겨지고, 거룩해지고, 의로워집니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

PURIFIED BY THE WORD
“And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God”(1 Corinthians 6:11).
The Apostle Paul, in the 11th verse of 1 Corinthians 6 makes a striking statement to establish the present state of the Corinthian Christians, emphasizing that they were washed, sanctified and justified in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and by the Spirit of our God. How profound!
Observe the Spirit’s communication through Paul; He didn’t say, “Such are some of you”; rather, He said, “…and such were some of you,” referring to the unrighteous characters listed in verses 9 and 10. But how were they washed by the Spirit? Through the Word!
In John 15:3, the Lord Jesus addressing His disciples said, “Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.” He purified them by His Word. As He spoke His words of sanctification and righteousness to them while they listened, they were purified. Blessed be God! The same thing happens today as we share the Word of God; as the people listen, their hearts are purified from all unrighteousness.
Many have testified that as they listened to us share the Word of God or as they meditated on the scriptures, suddenly, they seemed to have been transported in the spirit. They felt enraptured in His bliss and love. The Word got rid of everything unwholesome, unpleasant, or unclean. How wonderful! We’re made pure by the Word. Hallelujah!
CONFESSION
The Word rids me of anything that’s unwholesome, unpleasant, or unclean. It obliterates sickness, poverty, sin, and all of the works of darkness from my life. I’m washed, sanctified, and justified in the Name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God! Glory to God!
