동등한 소유권
Equal Ownership
“성령이 친히 우리의 영과 더불어 우리가 하나님의 자녀인 것을 증언하시나니 자녀이면 또한 상속자 곧 하나님의 상속자요 그리스도와 함께 한 상속자니 우리가 그와 함께 영광을 받기 위하여 고난도 함께 받아야 할 것이니라”(롬 8:16-17)
어떤 성경 번역가들은 사도 바울이 우리를 그리스도와 함께한 “공동상속자(joint-heirs)”라고 했을 때, 사도 바울을 통해 나타난 성령의 언어에 대해 고심했습니다. 그들의 신학에 비해 너무 큰 개념이었기 때문입니다. 따라서 몇몇은 원어인 그리스어 “소클레로노모스(sugkleronomos)”의 뜻인 “공동상속자(joint-heirs)”라는 단어 대신 “분할상속자(co-heirs)”라고 번역했습니다.
“분할상속자”는 상속을 공유하지만, 공동 소유권은 갖지 않습니다. 분할상속자들과 달리 공동상속자들은 상속된 유산을 함께 소유하며, 전체 상속에 대해 동등한 권리를 가집니다. 한번 이렇게 설명해 드리겠습니다. 분할상속자들은 30:70, 60:40, 혹은 다른 비율로 상속을 나누지만, 공동상속자의 경우, 함께 하는 다른 사람 없이는 하나도 얻지 못합니다. 그들은 전체 100%에 대해 동등한 소유권을 가지고 있습니다.
그리스도와 함께 한 공동상속자가 된다는 것은 예수님께 속한 모든 것이 같은 방식과 정도로 당신에게 주어졌음을 의미합니다. 말씀이 그리스도 안에서 만물이 당신 것이라고 한 것은 당연합니다(고전 3:21). 하나님을 찬양합니다!
어떻게 이 사실을 알고도 인생에서 제한을 받을 수 있습니까? 어떤 것도 당신을 제한해서는 안 됩니다. 당신의 직업이나 사업도 당신을 제한할 수 없습니다. 어떤 것도 당신을 재정적으로 제한해서는 안 됩니다. 당신은 하나님의 상속자요, 그리스도와 함께한 공동상속자이기 때문입니다. 예수님께서 소유하신 것을 떠올려보십시오. 그러면 당신은 자신에게 속한 부요와 자원이 얼마나 무한하고 측량할 수 없는지 알게 될 것입니다.
당신은 생명과 경건에 속한 모든 것을 가지고 있습니다(벧후 1:3). 그러므로 어깨를 펴고 구름 위를 쳐다보며 하나님처럼 생각하십시오. 무한한 삶을 사십시오. 오늘 당신이 그리스도와 함께 한 공동상속자라는 진리를 묵상하십시오. 그러면 당신의 창의성, 독창성, 기발함, 혁신성이 살아날 것입니다. 당신은 문제에 대한 해결책을 제시하는 사람입니다!

EQUAL OWNERSHIP
“The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together”(Romans 8:16-17).
Some Bible Translators grappled with the Spirit’s communication through the apostle Paul in our opening scripture when He referred to us as “joint-heirs” with Christ. It was too big for their theology. Therefore, some of them decided to translate it as “co-heirs” instead staying with the original Greek rendering which is “sugklēronomos”; joint-heirs.
A “Co-heir” shares in the inheritance, but not in joint-ownership. Unlike co-heirs, joint-heirs own the inheritance jointly, with undivided interest; they have equal rights to the entire inheritance. Let’s put it this way: while co-heirs can share it thirty-seventy or sixty-forty, or some other relevant fractions, the case with joint heirship is that, no one gets anything without the other; they have equal ownership over the whole hundred percent.
To be a joint heir with Christ means everything that belongs to Him belongs to you, in the same way and degree that it belongs to Him. No wonder the Word declares that in Christ, all things are yours (1 Corinthians 3:21). Praise God!
How can you know this and be limited in life? Nothing should limit you; not your job or business. Nothing should get you hemmed in financially, because you’re an heir of God, and a joint-heir with Christ. Think about what He owns, then you’ll know how limitless and unsearchable your riches and resources are.
You have all things that pertain to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). Therefore, lift your head above the clouds, and think like God; live a limitless life. Meditate on this truth today that you’re a joint heir with Christ, and your creativity, ingenuity, inventiveness, and innovativeness will come alive; you’ll become a solution provider!

I’m a joint heir with Christ, and an heir of God’s Kingdom of blessings! I have all things that pertain to life and godliness.
