사랑 – 하나님의 의의 나타남
Love – The Righteousness Of God At Work
“사랑하지 아니하는 자는 하나님을 알지 못하나니 이는 하나님은 사랑이심이라 하나님의 사랑이 우리에게 이렇게 나타난 바 되었으니 하나님이 자기의 독생자를 세상에 보내심은 그로 말미암아 우리를 살리려 하심이라”(요일 4:8-9)
우리가 하나님의 사랑에 대해 말할 때, 이는 곧 하나님의 의를 내보이는 것임을 뜻합니다. 하나님의 사랑은 하나님의 의가 역사하고 있는 상태입니다. 하나님은 왜 사랑하십니까? 바로 그분의 의 때문입니다! 오늘의 본문 구절은 “하나님은 사랑이시라”고 말합니다. 사랑하는 것은 의의 행동이므로 하나님은 사랑이십니다.
사랑은 사랑하는 대상이 없다면 표현될 수 없습니다. 또한, 사랑을 받고 보답할 수 있는 존재에게만 사랑을 표현할 수 있습니다. 따라서, 하나님의 의가 그분의 사랑의 본성이 발현되게 하여 밖으로 나타나게 합니다. 활성화되지 않은 사랑은 사랑이 아닙니다.
하나님의 의가 나타나는 곳에는 하나님의 사랑이 나타납니다. 그러므로 만약 형제자매가 사랑 안에서 행하지 않는다면, 이는 그들이 하나님의 의를 깨닫지 못했기 때문입니다. 그리고 그들이 하나님의 의를 이해하지 못했기 때문에 의 안에서 살고 있지 않는 것입니다. 진짜 문제는 그들과 관계적으로 문제가 있는 사람들이 아닌 그들과 하나님 간의 관계 자체에 있습니다.
주님을 더 알면 알수록 그분의 의를 더 많이 이해하게 됩니다. 그 결과, 주님의 사랑이 당신에게, 당신을 통해 더 많이 드러납니다. 하나님께서 행하신 일을 기억하십시오. 하나님은 그리스도 안에서 당신을 하나님의 의의 표현으로 만드셨습니다. 이것이 사실이라면 당신이 어떻게 사랑 안에 거하지 않을 수 있습니까?
하나님은 사랑이십니다. 다시 말해, 사랑이 하나님의 정체성이며 본성입니다. 의도 마찬가지입니다. 하나님은 의로우십니다. 의는 하나님의 본성입니다. 따라서 우리가 사람들에게 사랑 안에서 행하는 것에 대해 가르치는 것은 진실로 그리스도 안에 있는 어린 아이들을 위한 것입니다. 사랑 안에서 행하지 않는다면 그리스도 안에서 진정으로 성숙한 자가 될 수 없고, 하나님의 의를 이해하고 그 안에 거하지 않는다면 사랑 안에서 행할 수 없습니다.
기도
사랑하는 아버지, 친절하신 성령님을 통해 나를 사랑과 의와 참된 거룩함의 길로 인도해 주셔서 감사합니다. 주님을 더 알수록 나는 이 땅과 사람들의 심령에 당신의 의를 세우는 일에 대해 더 이해하고 추구하게 됩니다. 내 안에서, 그리고 나를 통해 드러난 당신의 사랑에 감사드립니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

LOVE—THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD AT WORK
“He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him”(1 John 4:8-9).
When we talk about the love of God, it’s actually the demonstration of the righteousness of God. The love of God is the righteousness of God at work. Why does God love? It’s because of His righteousness! Our opening text says, “God is love.” He is love because it is righteous to love.
If there’s no object of love, love can’t be expressed. Moreover, you can only express love to a being that can receive and reciprocate love. So, the righteousness of God causes the nature of love to emanate from Him and be expressed from Him. Love that is inactive is not love.
Wherever the righteousness of God is in manifestation, the love of God is experienced. Therefore, when you see a brother or a sister who’s not walking in love, it’s because they don’t understand the righteousness of God. And because they don’t understand it, they’re not living in it. Their problem begins with their very relationship with God, not even with the person or the people they have trouble with.
The more you know the Lord, the more you understand His righteousness, and the more His love is reflected back to you and from you. Remember what He did: In Christ Jesus, He made you the righteousness of God; you’re the expression of His righteousness. If that’s true, how can you not walk in love?
God is love; in other words, that’s who He is; that’s His nature. The same is true of righteousness; God is righteous; that’s His nature. So when we teach people about walking in love, that’s really for the babes in Christ. You haven’t matured in Christ until you’re really walking in love, and you will not walk in love until you understand and live in the righteousness of God.
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for guiding me by your sweet Holy Spirit in the way of love, righteousness and true holiness. The more I know you, Lord, the more I understand and seek the establishment of your righteousness in the earth and in the hearts of men. Thank you for your love that’s revealed in and through me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
