당신의 유업을 소유하십시오

Take Possession Of Your Inheritance

“오직 시온 산에서 피할 자가 있으리니 그 산이 거룩할 것이요 야곱 족속은 자기 기업을 누릴 것이며”(옵 1:17)

주님께서는 모세를 통하여 여호수아와 갈렙에게 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “네가 발로 밟은 땅은 네 유산이 될 것이다. 영원히 너와 네 자손의 유산이 될 것이다. 네가 온전히 하나님을 위해 살았기 때문이다”(수 14:9, 메시지성경).

주님은 특별히 갈렙에게 “헤브론은 너의 것이 될 것이다”라고 말씀하셨지만, 당시 헤브론에는 큰 성벽의 도시에 살고 있는 거인 아낙 사람들이 있었습니다. 갈렙은 동요하지 않았습니다. 그는 오히려 45년 전에 그 땅을 정탐했을 때와 마찬가지로 그 땅을 소유할 만큼 강하다고 공언했습니다. 정말 영감을 주는 이야기입니다!

갈렙은 유업을 소유물로 바꾸었습니다. 그는 헤브론을 차지했고 오늘날까지도 그와 그의 가족의 땅이 되었습니다(수 14:13-14). 유업을 받은 것과 그것을 소유하는 것은 또 다른 일입니다. 유업이 당신에게 할당될 수는 있으나, “거인들”이 와서 당신이 그 유업을 차지하는 것을 막으려고 할 수도 있습니다. 그렇지만 믿음으로 굳게 서서 이렇게 선언해야 합니다. “예수 이름으로, 나는 그리스도 예수 안에서 내게 속한 모든 것을 소유한다!”

주님은 빛 가운데서 성도의 영광스러운 유업에 참여할 자격을 당신에게 주셨습니다(골 1:12). 어떤 것도 당신을 속여 하나님의 가장 좋은 것을 빼앗지 못하게 하십시오. 성령의 능력과 당신 입술에 있는 하나님의 말씀을 가지고, 환경에 상관없이 그리스도 안에 있는 당신의 모든 것을 소유하십시오.

말씀을 공부하고 묵상할 때, 당신은 그리스도 안에서 자신의 유업을 발견할 뿐만 아니라 하나님께서 허락하신 모든 것을 누리기 시작할 것입니다. 유업은 이미 당신의 것이지만 하나님 말씀의 지식과 당신의 믿음 가득한 말을 통해 소유하십시오! 할렐루야!

TAKE POSSESSION OF YOUR INHERITANCE

“But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions”(Obadiah 1:17).

The Lord spoke through Moses concerning Joshua and Caleb and said, “The land on which your feet have walked will be your inheritance, you and your children’s, forever. Yes, you have lived totally for GOD” (Joshua 14:9 MSG).

The Lord had said specifically to Caleb, “Hebron shall be yours,” but Hebron had Giants—the Anakims—who were in large walled cities. Caleb was unfazed; he professed that he was just as strong to possess the land as he was forty-five years prior when he spied out the land; very inspiring!

Caleb converted the inheritance to a possession; he took possession of Hebron and it became his and his families’ land to this day (Joshua 14:13-14). It’s one thing to have an inheritance, but it’s another thing to have it in your possession. An inheritance can be allotted to you, but “the giants” might try to prevent you from taking possession of it. But you should stand your ground in faith and declare, “In the Name of Jesus, I take possession of all that belongs to me in Christ Jesus!”

The Lord has qualified and made you fit to become a partaker of the glorious inheritance of the saints in light; there’s an inheritance for you (Colossians 1:12). Let nothing cheat you out of God’s best. By the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God in your mouth, take full possession of all that’s yours in Christ, irrespective of the circumtances.

As you study and meditate on the Word, not only will you discover your inheritance in Christ, but you’ll also begin to relate with and enjoy all that God has made available to you. The inheritance was already yours, but through the knowledge of God’s Word and your faith-filled words you take possession! Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for making me a partaker of the glorious inheritance of the saints in light! My understanding is enlightened today, to know the hope of your calling, and the riches of the glory of your inheritance for me, in Christ Jesus. Amen.

DEMONSTRATING YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS IN GIVING

“Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything —every moment and in every way. He will make you overflow with abundance in every good thing you do”(2 Corinthians 9:8 TPT).

One of the ways to live a life of influence, honour and impact in the Kingdom of God is to be a real giver, generous to the cause of the Gospel. It’s so inspiring to see those who are filled with the utmost zeal to spread the Gospel into every nook and cranny of the world. See yourself as responsible for reaching everyone in your world and in regions beyond with the Gospel before the Lord’s return.

Think about the impressive testimony of the Rhapsody of Realities devotional being available in all known and active languages of the world, making it the most translated material in the whole world. This happened because many around the world made themselves available, giving their time and resources to see that billions of people can read the message of the Gospel in their native language. You can choose to be a part of this today.

The Bible says, “(As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)” (2 Corinthians 9:9-10).

Giving is righteousness, and by sowing seeds of righteousness, you produce fruits of righteousness. He says, “his righteousness remaineth forever.” Yes, Christ has made you righteous, but there’re fruits of righteousness and they come from your works of righteousness. Works of righteousness are seeds of righteousness, and being manifested primarily in your giving, they’ll return in an abundant harvest. Amen.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for making all grace—every favour and earthly blessing—come to me in abundance, so that I may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need, be self-sufficient, possessing enough to require no aid or support, furnished in abundance, for every good work, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

The Cure For Deception

“속고 오해하지 말라! 악한 동무들(교제, 사귐)은 선한 행실과 도덕과 성품을 더럽히고 부패시키느니라”(고전 15:33, 확대번역본)

주 예수님께서는 우리에게 속임수를 조심하라고 경고하셨습니다. 마태복음 24:4에서 그분은 이렇게 경고하셨습니다. “…너희가 사람의 미혹을 받지 않도록 주의하라.” 사도 바울은 서신서에서 속임수의 위험성에 대해 반복해서 경고했습니다. 오늘의 본문 구절에서 바울이 “속고 오해하지 말라.”고 말한 것을 주목하십시오. 속는 것은 쉽게 일어나는 일이기 때문입니다.

하와가 탈선하도록 하는 사탄의 전략이 바로 속임수였습니다. 고린도후서 11:3에서 바울은 이를 발견하고 이렇게 말합니다. “뱀이 그 간계로 하와를 미혹한 것 같이 너희 마음이 그리스도를 향하는 진실함과 깨끗함에서 떠나 부패할까 두려워하노라.”

그러므로 당신은 사탄이 어떻게 하와를 속였는지를 이해함으로써 사탄보다 한발 앞서 자신과 다른 사람이 속지 않도록 통찰력을 얻을 수 있습니다.

바울이 하나님의 백성들에게 이렇게 말한 사실을 기억하십시오. “깨어 의를 행하고 죄를 짓지 말라 하나님을 알지 못하는 자가 있기로…”(고전15:34). 하나님의 지식은 당신의 마음이 바른 곳에 있게 합니다. 그러므로 올바른 것에 당신의 마음을 두고, 올바른 방향으로 당신의 심령을 두십시오!

따라서 속임수에 대한 해결책은 곧 진리에 대한 지식, 즉 말씀에 대한 정확한 지식입니다. 말씀은 누구든지 속임수로부터 그를 인도하고 보호할 것입니다.

사도행전 17:11에서 베뢰아 사람들이 한 일을 기억하십시오. “베뢰아에 있는 사람들은 데살로니가에 있는 사람들보다 더 너그러워서 간절한 마음으로 말씀을 받고 이것이 그러한가 하여 날마다 성경을 상고하므로.”

또한 디모데를 향한 바울의 훈계를 주목하십시오. “너는 진리의 말씀을 옳게 분별하며 부끄러울 것이 없는 일꾼으로 인정된 자로 자신을 하나님 앞에 드리기를 힘쓰라”(딤후 2:15).

THE CURE FOR DECEPTION

“Do not be so deceived and misled! Evil companionships (communion, associations) corrupt and deprave good manners and morals and character”(1 Corinthians 15:33 AMPC).

The Lord Jesus warned us to be wary of deception. In Matthew 24:4, He cautions, “…Take heed that no man deceive you.” In the epistles, the Apostle Paul repeatedly warned of the dangers of deception. Notice what he said in the opening text, “Do not be so deceived and misled,” because it’s easy to be deceived.

Satan’s capital strategy in derailing Eve was deception. In 2 Corinthians 11:3, Paul captures it; it says, “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.”

Therefore, by understanding how Satan deceived Eve, you can gain insight into how to stay ahead of him and prevent yourself and others from being deceived.

Remember that Paul was speaking to God’s people when he said, “Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God…” (1 Corinthians 15:34). The knowledge of God keeps your heart in the right place. So, get your mind on the right subject, get your heart in the right direction!

The cure for deception, therefore, is the knowledge of the truth; the accurate knowledge of the Word; this will both deliver and protect anyone from deception.

Keep in mind what the Bereans did in Acts 17:11: “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”

Also, note Paul’s admonition to Timothy, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15).

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the knowledge of your Word in my heart, causing me to walk in faith, dominion, glory and power. Through the revelation knowledge of your Word, I live above the deception, trickery, manipulation and lies of the adversary. I function in absolute victory, now and always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Communicating The Gospel Effectively

“우리 주 예수의 종은 마땅히 다투지 아니하고 모든 사람에 대하여 온유하며 다른 이들이 진리를 볼 수 있도록 가르치기에 뛰어나며…”(딤후 2:24, 더패션성경)

몇 년 전, 열 살도 안 된 어린 아이들에게 설교를 하던 기억이 납니다. 훈련을 잘 받은 어린이 전도자가 저를 초대했고, 제가 아이들에게 설교할 때 그는 뒤에 서 있었습니다. 아이들에게 말씀을 가르치고 있다가 그 전도자를 보니 많이 울고 있었습니다.

왜 우는지 의아해하자, 그 어린이 전도자가 제게 다가와 말했습니다. “목사님께서는 여기에 있는 어린 아이들에게만 예수님을 가르치신 것이 아니라, 저에게도 예수님을 가르쳐 주셨습니다.” 그날 어린 아이들을 위한 제 말과 설교는 설득력 있는 사람의 지혜가 아닌 성령의 나타나심과 능력이었습니다(고전 2:4).

그리스도인으로서 살아가며 성장함에 따라, 당신이 복음을 명확하고 효과적으로 전달하는 방법을 알아가는 것이 중요합니다. 젊은 설교자였을 때, 제 관심은 이 부분에 있었습니다. 저는 제가 정확히 전달하지 않으면 사람들이 제대로 듣지 못할 것을 알고 있었습니다.

복음을 효과적으로 전달하려면 먼저 하나님의 말씀을 연구하는 일에 자신을 내어드려야 합니다. “너는 진리의 말씀을 옳게 분별하며 부끄러울 것이 없는 일꾼으로 인정된 자로 자신을 하나님 앞에 드리기를 힘쓰라”(딤후 2:15). 당신이 말씀을 공부하고 그것이 당신의 영에 들어가면, 그 말씀은 당신을 감동시키고, 변화시키고, 정보를 주고, 교육하고, 양육합니다.

또한 말씀을 전할 때 당신을 도우셔서 사람들의 삶을 바꿀 말씀을 전하게 하실 성령의 능력을 신뢰해야 합니다. 주 예수님께서 말씀하셨습니다. “나를 믿는 자는 성경에 이름과 같이 그 배에서 생수의 강이 흘러나오리라 하시니”(요 7:38). 이는 당신을 통해 부어지는 성령을 의미합니다.

말씀이 우리에게 성령으로 충만하라고 명령하므로 그대로 하십시오. 에베소서 5:18-20은 말합니다. “술 취하지 말라 이는 방탕한 것이니 오직 성령으로 충만함을 받으라 시와 찬송과 신령한 노래들로 서로 화답하며 너희의 마음으로 주께 노래하며 찬송하며 범사에 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 항상 아버지 하나님께 감사하며.”

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 아버지의 의는 항상 내 안에서, 나를 통해 나타납니다. 내 말은 성령의 능력과 지혜로 나타나며, 듣는 이들의 마음에 믿음과 희망과 사랑을 불러일으킵니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

COMMUNICATING THE GOSPEL EFFECTIVELY

“For a true servant of our Lord Jesus will not be argumentative but gentle toward all and skilled in helping others see the truth…”(2 Timothy 2:24 TPT)

I remember years ago I was preaching to a class of little children less than ten years old. A trained child evangelist had invited me, and he stood at the back as I preached to the children. While sharing the Word with them, I turned over to the evangelist and saw him weeping profusely.

As I wondered why he was crying, he walked up to me and said, “You just preached Jesus, not only to these children in here, but also to me.” My speech and my preaching to those kids wasn’t with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power (1 Corinthians 2:4).

As you grow in your Christian walk, it’s important for you to know how to articulately and effectually communicate the Gospel. As a young preacher, that was one of my biggest concerns; I knew if I didn’t communicate right, people wouldn’t hear me right. If they didn’t hear me right, they wouldn’t believe right. And if they didn’t believe right, their faith would be in jeopardy.

To communicate the Gospel effectively, you have to first give yourself to the study of God’s Word: “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). When you study the Word and it gets into your spirit, it inspires, transforms, informs, educates, and cultures you.

Also, you have to trust the power of the Holy Spirit to help you convey the message in a way that’ll transform lives. The Lord Jesus said, “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water” (John 7:38). This refers to the Holy Spirit pouring out through you.

As the Word enjoins us to be filled with the Spirit, do accordingly. Ephesians 5:18-20 says, “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; 

Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

PRAYER

Dear Father, your righteousness is revealed in and through me always. My words are conveyed in the power and wisdom of the Spirit, inspiring faith, hope and love in the hearts of my hearers in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Our Divine Nature

“그러나 너희는 택하신 족속이요 왕 같은 제사장들이요 거룩한 나라요 그의 소유가 된 백성이니 이는 너희를 어두운 데서 불러 내어 그의 기이한 빛에 들어가게 하신 이의 아름다운 덕을 선포하게 하려 하심이라”(벧전 2:9)

어떤 사람들은 당신이 스스로를 하나님의 자녀라고 말하는 것에는 쉽게 동의하지만, 당신이 스스로가 신성하다고 말하면 그들은 잠시 멈춘 뒤 너무 지나치다고 경고합니다. 그러나 하나님의 자녀가 신성하다는 사실에 동의하지 않는 것은 모순되지 않습니까?

하나님의 자녀가 된다는 것은 단순한 종교적인 비유가 아닙니다. 이는 당신이 하나님과 같은 종류의 존재라는 의미입니다. 당신은 하나님처럼 만들어진 남자 혹은 여자입니다. 성경은 말합니다. “이로써 그 보배롭고 지극히 큰 약속을 우리에게 주사 이 약속으로 말미암아 너희가 정욕 때문에 세상에서 썩어질 것을 피하여 신성한 성품에 참여하는 자가 되게 하려 하셨느니라”(벧후 1:3-4).

위 성경 구절의 시제를 주의 깊게 보면 이것이 약속이 아님을 알 수 있습니다. 하나님께서는 이미 그 일을 완성하셨습니다. 그분은 우리를 신성한 성품에 참여하게 하셨습니다. 그리스어 원문은 “인류(mankind)”를 표현하는 단어와 같이 “하나님과 같은 부류(associates of the God-kind)”의 존재라고 말합니다. 그렇다면 진짜 당신은 누구입니까?

만약 당신이 거듭났다면, 당신은 하나님과 같은 종류가 되었습니다. 신성한 혈통 안으로 들어왔습니다. 신성한 생명을 가지고 있습니다. 요한일서 5:13은 말합니다. “내가 하나님의 아들의 이름을 믿는 너희에게 이것을 쓰는 것은 너희에게 영원한 생명이 있음을 너희가 알게 하고.”

하나님께서는 당신이 영생을 가지고 있음을 알게 되길 원하십니다. 이것이 예수 그리스도의 복음입니다. 당신이 부모님으로부터 태어나 받은 생명은 영생으로 대체되었습니다. 이제 모든 아픔, 질병, 고통을 쫓아내고 지워내는 신성한 생명을 가지고 있습니다. 이 생명이 우리를 삶에서 천하무적으로 만듭니다. 이 생명은 어둠과 가난과 실패와 죽음을 쫓아냅니다. 할렐루야!

고백

나는 하나님과 같은 종류의 존재이며, 신성과 뗄 수 없는 하나가 되어 연합을 이루고 있습니다. 나는 사탄과 어둠의 세력보다 우월합니다. 내가 하나님의 신성한 혈통 안으로 들어왔기 때문입니다. 신성함이 내 안에서 역사하고 있습니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

OUR DIVINE NATURE

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:”(1 Peter 2:9).

Some people will easily agree with you when you describe yourself as a child of God, but when you say you’re divine, they pause and warn you of going too far. But, isn’t it contradictory to disagree that a child of God is divine?

Being a child of God isn’t merely a religious rhetoric. Rather, it means you’re an associate of the God-kind. You’re a God-man or God-woman. The Bible says, “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” (2 Peter 1:3-4).

If you follow the tenses carefully, you’ll realize that this isn’t a promise; He’s already done it. He’s made us partakers of the divine nature. The actual Greek rendering says, “Associates of the God-kind,” like when you say “mankind.” So, who really are you?

If you’re born again, you’ve been brought into the God-kind: a divine pantheon. You have the divine life. The Bible says in 1 John 5:13 NIV, “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.”

God wants you to know you have eternal life. That’s the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The life you got from your parents when they gave birth to you has been supplanted by eternal life. You now have the divine life that dispels and obliterates all sicknesses, diseases, and afflictions. This is what makes us invincible in life. This life dispels darkness, poverty, failure and death. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I’m an associate of the God-kind, in vital, inseparable oneness and union with divinity. I’m superior to Satan and over the forces of darkness, because I’ve been brought into the God-kind, a divine pantheon. Divinity is at work in me. Glory to God!

Begin With The Message Of Love

복음을 전할 때, 어떤 그리스도인들은 주로 죄에 집중해서 말하며 죄를 회개하는 것에 대해 강조합니다. 회개의 말씀은 유대인들에게 맞는 방법입니다. 그들은 율법 아래 있었기 때문입니다. 그들이 율법에 따라 해야 했던 행동은 죄를 지었을 때 잘못된 길에서 돌아서 하나님께로 오는 것이었습니다.

그러나 유대인이 아닌 사람들, 곧 이방인들은 돌이킬 것이 없습니다. 그들은 자신을 정죄할 수 있는 율법 아래 있던 적이 한 번도 없었기 때문입니다. 성경은 말합니다. “죄가 율법 있기 전에도 세상에 있었으나 율법이 없었을 때에는 죄를 죄로 여기지 아니하였느니라”(롬 5:13).

그러나 로마서 3:23은 말합니다. “모든 사람이 죄를 범하였으매 하나님의 영광에 이르지 못하더니” 여기서 모든 사람은 유대인과 이방인 모두를 포함합니다. 만약 율법이 이방인에게 주어진 적이 없기 때문에 그들이 한 번도 어긴 적이 없다면, 그들의 죄는 어디서 난 것입니까?

우리는 창세기를 통해 하나님께서 아담과 하와를 창조하셨을 때, 그들이 거룩하신 하나님의 임재 안에 있었다는 것을 배웁니다. 아담과 하와는 하나님의 영광 가운데 살았습니다. 하지만 아담이 하나님께 죄를 지었을 때, 그들은 하나님의 영광에서 끊어졌습니다.

BEGIN WITH THE MESSAGE OF LOVE

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”(John 3:16).

When preaching the Gospel, some Christians focus primarily on the subject of sin, emphasizing the need for people to repent of their sins. The message of repentance was apt for the Jews because they were under the Law. What was required of them was to turn away from wrong when they sinned, unto God.

However, non-Jews—the Gentiles—had nothing to turn away from because they were never under the Law, which in itself, was their condemnation. The Bible says, “For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law” (Romans 5:13).

But then, the Bible says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). This includes both Jews and Gentiles. If the Gentiles didn’t break the Law because it wasn’t given to them, where then was their sin?

We learn in the book of Genesis that when God created Adam and Eve, they were in the presence of a holy God. They lived in His glory. But they were cut off from that glory when Adam sinned against God.

Romans 5:19 says, “For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.” Through one man’s offense, all men fell short of the glory, but now, in Christ, the glory is restored. “…Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27). Hallelujah!

This is why your approach of the Gospel shouldn’t begin with the issue of sin; rather, it should begin with the message of love. That’s the key; that’s how Jesus puts it in our opening scripture. Love was His motivation.

Notice in that verse that He said nothing about sin. That’s the Gospel of Christ. It’s a message of love and a message of life—the life and nature of God—that His death, burial and resurrection has made possible and available to everyone who believes.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for your love that’s expressed, unveiled, and embraced as many all around the world hear and receive the true Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the resultant gift of righteousness. Today, they experience your steadfast and everlasting love, the glory of your grace, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Take The Communion With Understanding

TAKE THE COMMUNION WITH UNDERSTANDING

“When we drink the cup of blessing, aren’t we taking into ourselves the blood, the very life, of Christ? And isn’t it the same with the loaf of bread we break and eat? Don’t we take into ourselves the body, the very life, of Christ?”(1 Corinthians 10:16).

The Holy Communion is a very important sacrament in the Church, but many take it without understanding its spiritual import and impact. When you take the Holy Communion, you aren’t only fellowshipping with the body and blood of Christ, you’re administering life to your body; it has curative powers! It is more potent than any medication.

In explaining the parable of the sower to His disciples in Matthew 13:3-4, 18-19, the Lord Jesus revealed that the ones who received seed by the wayside represented those who hear the Word but don’t understand it. As a result of their lack of understanding, Satan comes immediately and steals the Word sown in their hearts, and they lose out.

God’s Word mixed with understanding produces divine results. Henceforth, have the understanding that when we “break bread,” we’re commemorating the vicarious death of Christ, the sacrificial Lamb that was given up for you. Also, the “Cup” signifies the New Testament sealed in His blood. His divine blood was shed for us for the remission of sins, so that sin should not have dominion over us.

So, today, it doesn’t matter what the condition has been; you might have been diagnosed with lung, kidney, heart, stomach or skin problems; take the Communion and declare, “No cancerous growth, weakness, disease, infirmity or sickness can thrive or survive in my body. I’m healthy, vibrant and strong” Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the body of Jesus that was broken for me so that I’ll never be broken, sick, weak, or defeated. Thank you for His blood that was shed for the remission of sins, and by which I’ve become a partaker and distributor of divine life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

마태복음 26:26-28, 마가복음 14:22-24, 누가복음 22:19-20은 예수님께서 배반당하시던 날 밤에 하신 말씀을 담고 있습니다. 누가복음 22:19-20은 말합니다. “또 떡을 가져 감사 기도하시고 떼어 그들에게 주시며 이르시되 이것은 너희를 위하여 주는 내 몸이라 너희가 이를 행하여 나를 기념하라 하시고 식후의 잔도 이와 같이 이르시되 이 잔은 너희를 위하여 흘리는 내 피로 세우는 새 언약이니.”

TESTIFY OF HIS DEATH

“For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come”(1 Corinthians 11:26).

The synoptic Gospels, Matthew 26:26–28, Mark 14:22–24, and Luke 22:19–20 capture for us the words of Jesus the night He was betrayed. Luke 22:19–20 tells us, “And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.”

The Apostle Paul, by the Spirit, reiterated this in 1 Corinthians 11:23-26, part of which we read in our theme scripture. Notice the underlined word “shew”; it’s the Greek “kataggellō,” which means to proclaim, declare, and make known. As often as you take communion, you’re announcing, proclaiming, declaring, and making known the Lord’s death. What is the benefit of that?

First, understand the significance of His blood—which we will forever talk about—that He shed for us; that’s the blood that purges, cleanses and speaks for you when anything goes wrong. When we talk about “His blood,” we’re actually referring to His death.

1 John 2:2 says “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.” The blood of Jesus Christ purifies you; it reconciles us to God by which we receive life, because He gave His life so that we might have life.

He made a new will—the New Testament in His blood. And a will is of no effect until the Testator dies. So, we proclaim His death, because we know God raised Him from the dead; but He died that we might live. His death is the ratification of the will or testament of Jesus Christ, the seed of Abraham and son of God.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I’m forever grateful for the blood of Jesus Christ that was shed for me, which purges, cleanses, rids me of all unrighteousness! Thank you for Christ’s vicarious death in my behalf and by whose resurrection I’m now an associate of the God-kind, ushered into the divine life of unending victory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

We’re His Holy Sanctuary

“땅이 진동하며 하늘이 하나님 앞에서 떨어지며 저 시내 산도 하나님 곧 이스라엘의 하나님 앞에서 진동하였나이다”(시 68:8)

성경은 말합니다. “너희는 너희가 하나님의 성전인 것과 하나님의 성령이 너희 안에 계시는 것을 알지 못하느냐”(고전 3:16). 이 말씀은 곧 당신이 하나님의 집이고 그분의 거룩한 성소라는 뜻입니다.

히브리서 3:1은 말합니다. “그러므로 함께 하늘의 부르심을 받은 거룩한 형제들아…” 또한 골로새서 1:22은 말합니다. “…자기 육체의 몸으로 화해를 이루사 너희를 그분의 눈앞에서 거룩하고 흠 없고 책망할 것이 없는 자로 드리려 하셨으니.” 이 말씀들을 생각해보십시오!

출애굽기 19장에서 모세가 하나님을 맞이하기 위해 백성들을 이끌고 진영에서 나왔을 때, 성경은 하나님이 무서운 권능으로 시내 산에 강림하셨다고 말합니다. 온 산이 크게 떨며 연기를 내뿜었고, 모든 백성들이 주님 앞에서 떨었습니다. 하나님께서는 그저 그 산을 밟으셨을 뿐인데, 그 산은 거룩한 산으로 선포되었습니다.

WE’RE HIS HOLY SANCTUARY

“The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel”(Psalm 68:8).

The Bible says, “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” (1 Corinthians 3:16). That means you’re God’s house, His holy sanctuary.

Hebrews 3:1: “Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling….” Colossians 1:22 (CEV) says, “…God made peace with you, and now he lets you stand in his presence as people who are holy and faultless and innocent.” Think about that!

Then in Ephesians 1:4, He says, “According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love” (Ephesians 1:4 NKJV). Hallelujah!

In Exodus 19, when Moses brought the people from the camp to meet God, the Bible tells us that God descended on Mount Sinai with a terrible display of power: the mountain shuddered in huge spasms, with smoke billowing from it, so much so, that the people trembled before the Lord. God only stepped on it and it was declared a holy mountain.

His presence made it holy. Now, think about the fact that He didn’t indwell the mountain, but He indwells you. Hallelujah! You’re more holy than Mount Sinai. No wonder He tells us in Ephesians 5:25-27 that Christ gave Himself for us—the Church—that He might sanctify and cleanse us with the washing of water by the Word, and present us to Himself glorious, not having spot or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that we should be holy and without blemish. Blessed be God!

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for your divine presence in me that makes me holy, unblameable and unreproveable in your sight. I walk in the light of this truth, and reign over sin, Satan and circumstances. I’m victorious all the way, serving you joyously in love, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Your Revelation Of The Gospel

이것이 바로 그리스도의 복음에 대한 정확한 지식을 갖는 것이 중요한 이유입니다. 복음을 어떻게 이해하고 있습니까? 그리스도를 향해 가지고 있는 당신의 생각은 무엇입니까? 그분은 어떤 분이시며, 당신은 그분의 무엇을 믿습니까?

제가 어린 시절에 스스로를 위해 한 일 중 하나는 “예수님에 대해 정말로 무엇을 믿는가?”라고 자문하는 것이었습니다. 제가 예수님에 대해 진정으로 믿는 것이 무엇인지 알아보기 위해 하나님의 말씀을 사용하여 제 마음을 들여다보며 그 대답들을 공책에 적었습니다.

YOUR REVELATION OF THE GOSPEL

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek”(Romans 1:16).

When you believed in Jesus Christ, you became a Christian and started living out your understanding of Christianity. Your life became a daily expression of your idea or perception of Christianity. Consciously or unconsciously, you became a reflection of your Gospel.

“My Gospel?” you may be wondering. Yes! Every one of us has a “Gospel.” Your gospel is your perception of Christ: who He is and what He came to do. You can’t live above your revelation of the Gospel. Whatever you believe about Jesus will affect your speech, thinking process, and outlook on life. You’ll see everything through your “Gospel screen,” as it were.

This is why it’s important to have an accurate knowledge of the Gospel of Christ. What’s your understanding of the Gospel? What’s your opinion of Christ? Who is He, and what do you believe about Him?

One of the things I did for myself in my early years was to ask myself, “What do you really believe about Jesus?” Using the Word of God, I began to probe my heart to find out what I truly believed about Jesus, and I wrote my answers in a notebook.

There’re things you need to address for yourself as a Christian because you can only give to others what you have. You may preach the Gospel to people, but have you preached it to “you”? Do you have personal convictions about it?

Paul said, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek” (Romans 1:16). Have you come to that conclusion about the Gospel?

If you truly believe and understand the Gospel, you’ll preach it with fervour and urgency. You won’t spare anything to ensure it permeates your community, city, country, and every man’s world. Let your convictions of Christ drive you.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for the privilege of taking the same message the apostles preached to my world. I have a clearer understanding of the Gospel, convinced that it’s the only hope and power there is for the salvation of men. I proclaim it with boldness today, to the praise and glory of your Name. Amen.
