예수 이름에 대한 우리의 확신

OUR CONFIDENCE IN HIS NAME

“하늘에 있는 자들과 땅에 있는 자들과 땅 아래에 있는 자들로 모든 무릎을 예수의 이름에 꿇게 하시고 모든 입으로 예수 그리스도를 주라 시인하여 하나님 아버지께 영광을 돌리게 하셨느니라”(빌2:10-11)

기도할 때 왜 예수 이름을 사용하는지 의아해하는 사람들이 있습니다. 그들은 성경을 이해하지 못하고 예수 이름의 능력을 이해하지 못하기 때문입니다. 예수 이름은 신성의 이름입니다. 예수 이름은 가장 위대한 이름이며 하늘과 땅과 땅 아래 있는 모든 것이 예수 이름 아래 있습니다. 그 무엇도, 그 누구도 예수 이름의 통치권과 권세에서 벗어나지 못합니다.

또한 예수님께서 우리에게 그분의 이름을 사용하라고 말씀하셨기 때문에 그분의 이름을 사용합니다. 예수님은 요한복음 14:13에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “너희가 내 이름으로 무엇을 구하든지 내가 행하리니 이는 아버지로 하여금 아들로 말미암아 영광을 받으시게 하려 함이라” 정말 대단한 말씀입니다. 이 구절은 예수님이 우리에게 그분의 이름을 사용할 권리를 주셨다고 알려줍니다. 이는 법적인 권리입니다.

또한 예수님은 요한복음 16:23-24에서 다음과 같이 말씀하셨습니다. “그 날에는 너희가 아무것도 내게 묻지 아니하리라 내가 진실로 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 너희가 무엇이든지 아버지께 구하는 것을 내 이름으로 주시리라 지금까지는 너희가 내 이름으로 아무 것도 구하지 아니하였으나 구하라 그리하면 받으리니 너희 기쁨이 충만하리라” 여기서 예수님은 우리는 그분의 이름 안에서 기도할 수 있다고 말씀합니다. 그분은 우리에게 능력을 주시고 그분의 이름을 사용할 법적인 권세를 주십니다.

오늘의 본문 구절을 통해 하나님께서 주권적인 법령, 영적인 영역의 법을 만드셔서 모든 무릎이 예수 이름에 무릎 꿇게 하셨다는 것을 볼 수 있습니다. “하늘에 있는 자들과 땅에 있는 자들과 땅 아래에 있는 자들로…”

“자”로 번역된 헬라어는 “무엇이든”이라는 의미도 가지고 있습니다. 이는 존재하는 모든 것, 즉 사람, 동물, 새, 어떤 요소이든지 모두 예수 이름에 복종한다는 뜻입니다. 여기에는 지옥을 가리키는 땅 아래의 모든 것 역시 포함됩니다.

하나님께서 우리가 죽은 자를 살릴 수 있다고 말씀하시는 것은 당연합니다. 누군가가 지옥에 갔다 해도 우리는 그를 다시 불러낼 수 있습니다. 예수 그리스도의 이름은 하늘과 땅과 땅 아래에서 권세를 가지고 있기 때문입니다. 왜 항상 예수 이름을 사용하고 예수 이름에 대한 확신을 가져야 하는지 아시겠습니까?

날마다 예수 이름 안에서 살면 당신의 삶은 탁월하고 영광으로 충만할 것입니다. 당신은 언제나 승리할 것입니다. 따라서 성경이 말하듯이 “또 무엇을 하든지 말에나 일에나 다 주 예수의 이름으로 하고 그를 힘입어 하나님 아버지께 감사하라”(골3:17)

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 예수 이름의 능력에 감사합니다. 마귀, 아픔, 질병, 삶의 위기를 대적하는 예수 이름을 사용하 수 있는 담대함, 확신, 권세를 주시니 감사합니다. 나는 예수 이름의 능력과 권세로 말미암아 살며, 나를 위해 예정된 더 높은 차원의 영광의 삶을 삽니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

OUR CONFIDENCE IN HIS NAME

“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father”(Philippians 2:10-11).

There’re those who wonder why we use the Name of Jesus in prayer. That’s because they don’t understand the Scriptures and the power in the Name of Jesus. His Name is the name of the God-head; it’s the greatest name there is, and everything in heaven, in the earth, and under the earth is subject to His Name. Nothing and no one is exempt from the dominion and authority of this Name.

Furthermore, we use His Name because He asked us to. In John 14:13, He said, “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.” This is extraordinary. It tells us emphatically that Jesus gave us the power of attorney to use His Name; it’s a legal right.

In John 16:23-24, we also read the words of Jesus where He says, “And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.” Here He says we can pray in His Name. He gives us the power, the legal authority, to use His Name.

We read in our theme scripture that God made a sovereign decree, a law in the realm of the spirit, that at the Name of Jesus, every knee should bow: “of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.”

The Greek word translated as “things” also means “whatever.” This refers to anything that exists—people, beasts, birds, the elements—whatever—they all submit to the Name of Jesus. This includes everything under the earth, which refers to hell.

No wonder, He tells us we can raise the dead. Even if someone went to hell, we can call him back because the Name of Jesus Christ has power in heaven, in earth and under the earth. See why you should always use the Name of Jesus and have confidence in His Name?

Live every day in His Name and your life will be excellent and full of glory; you’ll always be triumphant. Therefore, as the Bible says, “And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him” (Colossians 3:17).

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the power in the Name of Jesus, and the boldness, confidence and authority I have to use that Name against the devil, sickness, disease and the crises of life. I’m sustained by the power and authority of that Name, living the higher life of glory that you prearranged for me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

“… 그 해의 대제사장이므로 예수께서 그 민족을 위하시고 또 그 민족만 위할 뿐 아니라 흩어진 하나님의 자녀를 모아 하나가 되게 하기 위하여 죽으실 것을 미리 말함이러라”(요11:51-52)

오늘의 본문 구절은 요한복음 10:16의 예수님의 말씀을 생각나게 합니다. “또 이 우리에 들지 아니한 다른 양들이 내게 있어 내가 인도하여야 할 터이니 그들도 내 음성을 듣고 한 무리가 되어 한 목자에게 있으리라” 예수님은 그분을 믿는 유대인과 이방인들에 대하여 말씀하셨습니다. 그분은 그들을 한 데로 모아 그들의 목자가 되십니다. 하나님을 송축합니다!

주 예수님은 교회가 하나가 되기를 너무나 원하십니다! 예수님은 우리가 아버지도 한 분이시고 주 예수 그리스도도 한 분이심을 아는 한 비전 가운데 한 목소리를 내길 원하십니다. 예수님은 하나님의 모든 자녀들을 위해 아버지께 이렇게 기도하셨습니다. “내게 주신 영광을 내가 그들에게 주었사오니 이는 우리가 하나가 된 것 같이 그들도 하나가 되게 하려 함이니이다”(요17:22)

하나님의 꿈은 그분의 자녀들이 모여 연합의 영 안에 있는 것입니다. 이에 대해 엘리트 세계주의자들이 세우려는 단일 세계 종교와 혼동하지 마십시오. 하나님께서 무언가 하실 때, 사탄은 항상 모조품을 만들어냅니다. 하나님은 우리를 물리적으로 모으셔야만 되는 것이 아니라, 성령과 말씀으로 우리를 연합하여 심령 가운데 모으십니다.

오늘날 전세계의 많은 하나님의 백성들이 그 어느 때보다도 주님에 대해 같은 생각을 하고, 같은 방식으로 열정적으로 주님을 사랑하고, 복음을 전하고, 영혼을 구원합니다. 우리는 서로를 더욱 사랑하고, 영의 연합 가운데 그리스도의 몸의 비밀을 더욱 이해합니다. 이것은 하나님의 꿈입니다. 그리고 우리 모두는 그리스도의 몸의 연합을 위해 힘써야 합니다.

생각해 보십시오. 우리는 전세계에서 함께 일하는 수많은 사람들과 말씀의 실재를 통해 모든 언어로 하나님의 말씀을 볼 수 있게 했습니다. 우리는 성령으로 말미암아 같은 비전을 위해 같은 말씀으로 연합했습니다.

성령님을 통해 우리는 같은 말씀을 이해하고 선포합니다. 이는 교회 시대의 끝이 가까워질수록 더 크게 일어날 것입니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 그리스도의 몸을 온전케 하시고 세우시니 감사드립니다. 우리가 당신의 꿈을 성취하고 그리스도의 장성한 분량에 이르도록 하나님의 아들을 아는 지식과 믿음으로 연합을 이루며 이 메시지를 이해하고 나눌 수 있도록 당신의 자녀들에게 주신 통찰력에 감사드립니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

UNITED BY THE SPIRIT AND THE WORD

“…being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation; And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad”(John 11:51-52).

The verses above bring to mind the words of Jesus in John 10:16. He said, “And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be onefold, and one shepherd” (John 10:16). He made this statement in reference to the Jews and the Gentiles who would believe in Him. He was going to get all of them together as onefold to be their shepherd. Blessed be God!

How the Lord Jesus wants the Church to be one! He wants us to speak with one voice, to have the same vision knowing that we have one Father and one Lord, Jesus Christ. Praying to the Father for all God’s children, He said, “… that they may be one, even as we are one” (John 17:22).

God’s dream is to gather His children together in the spirit of unity. Don’t mix this up with the One World Religion that elitist globalists are trying to set up. Understand that when God does something, Satan always wants to come up with counterfeits. God is gathering us together, not necessarily in the physical, but in our hearts—uniting us by the Spirit and the Word.

Today, many of us, God’s people around the world, think the same things about the Lord, love Him the same way with so much passion, preach the Gospel and win souls like never before. We love one another more, and understand better, the mystery of the body of Christ in the unity of the spirit. This is God’s dream, and each one of us must strive for the unity of the Body of Christ.

Think about it: with so many of us working together from around the world, we’ve made God’s Word through Rhapsody of Realities available in every known living language in the world. We’ve been united by the Spirit for the same vision and by the same message.

Through the Holy Spirit, we understand and proclaim the same message. This will continue even in greater measure as the Church age comes to a close. Glory to God!

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the perfection and edification of the body of Christ. Thank you for the insight you’ve given your children to understand and share the same message, as we fulfil your dream, and attain the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the son of God, unto the stature of the fulness of Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

RELEASING THE RIGHT CODES

“방언을 말하는 자는 사람에게 하지 아니하고 하나님께 하나니 이는 알아 듣는 자가 없고 영으로 비밀을 말함이라”(고전14:2)

당신이 암호화된 말을 사용하는 법을 배우기 전까지는 당신의 삶과 이 세상에서 일어나지 않을 일들이 있습니다. 바울은 그것들을 숨겨진 지혜, 영적 신비와 비밀이라고 말합니다(고전2:7).

예를 들어, 영 안에서 기도하기 시작하면 어떤 일들을 영적인 영역에서 자연적인 영역으로 불러내기 시작하는 지점에 도달하게 됩니다. 삶은 영적이며 우리는 성령으로 말미암아 승리합니다.

RELEASING THE RIGHT CODES

“For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries”(1 Corinthians 14:2).

There’re things that’ll not happen for you in your life and in this world until you learn to use the coded words. Paul called them hidden wisdom, spiritual mysteries and secrets (1 Corinthians 2:7).

For example, as you start out praying in the spirit, you’ll get to a point where you begin to conjure or summon things from the spirit realm into the natural. Life is spiritual and we win by the Spirit.

Through the Holy Spirit, you can know the right words to use in prayer. Those words are spiritual codes. He may have you repeat a word or make a sound repeatedly; that’s because He knows the details of the “code.”

The Holy Spirit knows the number of times you may need to repeat those words for them to form the right code. In prayer, you might be speaking some words or making some sounds that may require twenty-five of those sounds for the code to be complete or connected. But if you stop at the twenty-fourth sound, it won’t work, because the code will be incomplete.

It’s like trying to get into a pass-worded system or account; you never get in with the wrong codes even if it’s just one letter or sign that you missed. So in praying and making conjurations in the Spirit, continue until the Spirit moves to the next level. Remember, He’s the One that gives you the utterance.

There’re issues people go through in life and even though they might have been speaking in tongues, there seem to be no results. It’s because there’s a code in the realm of the spirit that’s still missing. Use the codes and you’ll have the baby you’ve desired for so long. Use the codes and the money will come; you’ll have the new venue for your church or business.

That house you’ve so desired is in that coded language; use the right codes and you’ll have it. The answer to that problem is “coded” but the Holy Spirit knows the code. Pray in tongues until you get the complete codes from the Holy Spirit and release them.

PRAYER

Dear Father, as I speak in tongues today, illumination comes to my spirit. I know what steps to take regarding specific situations about my life; I know what to do, when to do it, and how to do it, to the praise and glory of your Name. Amen.

“그들이 섬기는 것은 하늘에 있는 것의 모형과 그림자라 모세가 장막을 지으려 할 때에 지시하심을 얻음과 같으니 이르시되 삼가 모든 것을 산에서 네게 보이던 본을 따라 지으라 하셨느니라”(히8:5)

하나님은 모세에게 장막을 지으라고 명하셨을 때, 모세에게 정확한 설명을 해주시며 그 설명에 따라 지으라고 지시하셨습니다. “무릇 내가 네게 보이는 모양대로 장막을 짓고 기구들도 그 모양을 따라 지을지니라”(출25:9)

주님과 동행하고 그분의 왕국에서 일할 때 어떤 아이디어가 좋다고 해서 바로 뛰어들지 마십시오. 당신이 하나님의 청사진, 즉 하나님께서 주신 형태와 지시를 따라 행하고 있는지 확인하십시오. 이것이 바로 당신이 말씀을 알아야 하는 이유 중 하나입니다.

당신은 하나님의 말씀 안에서 하나님께서 우리가 어떻게 살기를 바라시는지, 우리가 어떤 일을 어떻게 하기 원하시는 지에 대한 예시, 형태, 지시를 찾을 수 있습니다. 시편 기자는 시편 127:1에서 이렇게 말했습니다. “여호와께서 집을 세우지 아니하시면 세우는 자의 수고가 헛되며 여호와께서 성을 지키지 아니하시면 파수꾼의 깨어 있음이 헛되도다”

주 예수님은 이 마지막 때에 그분의 교회를 세우십니다. 예수님은 “또 내가 네게 이르노니 너는 베드로라 내가 이 반석 위에 내 교회를 세우리니 음부의 권세가 이기지 못하리라”(마16:18)고 말씀하셨습니다. 하나님의 말씀에는 그분이 어떻게 이 일을 행하시는 지 보여주는 설명이 있습니다. 성경은 그분(그리스도)이 “… 어떤 사람은 사도로, 어떤 사람은 선지자로, 어떤 사람은 복음 전하는 자로, 어떤 사람은 목사와 교사로 삼으셨으니 이는 성도를 온전하게 하여 봉사의 일을 하게 하며 그리스도의 몸을 세우려 하심이라”(엡4:11-12)고 말합니다.

그분의 계획은 이 지도자들을 통해 그리스도의 몸을 세우는 것이지만, 모든 사람이 관련되어 있습니다. 우리 모두는 이 위대한 그리스도의 몸을 건축하는 일에 참여합니다. “그에게서 온 몸이 각 마디를 통하여 도움을 받음으로 연결되고 결합되어 각 지체의 분량대로 역사하여 그 몸을 자라게 하며 사랑 안에서 스스로 세우느니라”(엡4:16)

당신이 누군가를 그리스도께로 인도할 때마다 그리스도의 몸이 건축되는 것입니다. 그리고 그것은 아주 웅장한 건축물입니다. 할렐루야! 왕국 안으로 영혼들을 구원하며 당신의 역할을 계속 수행하십시오. 그러면 당신은 말씀 안에 있는 지시를 따라 웅장한 건축물을 세워가는 일에 기여할 것입니다.

BUILD ACCORDING TO HIS DESCRIPTION

“…Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: “See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain”(Hebrews 8:5 NIV).

When God told Moses to build a tabernacle, He gave him a clear description and instructed him to build according to the description: “According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it” (Exodus 25:9).

In your walk with the Lord and work in His Kingdom, don’t just run off with every idea just because you think it’s nice. Be sure that you’re following God’s blueprint; the pattern and description that He’s given. It’s one of the reasons you must know the Word for yourself.

In His Word, you find samples, patterns and descriptions of how He wants us to live, the things He wants us to do and how to do them. The psalmist said in Psalm 127:1, “Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it…”; we must build according to His plan.

In these last days, the Lord Jesus is building His Church. He said, “…I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18). There’s a description given to us in the Word of God that shows how He’s doing this. The Bible says He (Christ Himself), “…gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up” (Ephesians 4:11-12 NIV).

His plan is to build through these leaders, but everyone is involved; each one of us contributes to the building of this great body of Christ: “From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love” (Ephesians 4:16).

Every time you lead someone to Christ, you’re adding to the building of the Body of Christ, and it’s a magnificent building. Hallelujah! Keep playing your role by winning souls into the Kingdom. You’ll be contributing to the building of the magnificent structure according to the description given.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the ability of your Word in my spirit. I’m a doer of the Word, not just a hearer. The results of living in, and by the Word are evidently manifested in every area of my life today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

결과 중심적인 기도

RESULT ORIENTED PRAYER

“그는 육체에 계실 때에 자기를 죽음에서 능히 구원하실 이에게 심한 통곡과 눈물로 간구와 소원을 올렸고 그의 경건하심으로 말미암아 들으심을 얻었느니라”(히5:7)

주 예수님은 결과 중심적인 기도의 완벽한 본이십니다. 예수님의 기도는 언제나 바른 결과를 가져왔습니다. 예수님은 그저 매일 해야 하는 일 혹은 종교적인 책무 때문에 기도하지 않으셨습니다. 예수님의 제자들은 이 사실을 눈치챘습니다. 그들은 예수님의 효과적인 기도에 매력을 느꼈습니다. 그래서 예수님께 이렇게 말했습니다. “주여, 우리에게도 기도하는 것을 가르쳐 주소서” (눅11:1)

예수님께서 이 땅에서 보여주신 놀라운 결과는 그분의 놀라운 기도 생활과 밀접한 관련이 있습니다. 마가복음 1:35은 말합니다. “새벽 아직도 밝기 전에 예수께서 일어나 나가 한적한 곳으로 가사 거기서 기도하시더니.” 성경은 또 다른 날에 대해 말합니다. “…예수는 물러가사 한적한 곳에서 기도하시니라”(눅5:16)

또한 누가는 예수님께서 종종 밤새도록 기도하기 위해 높은 산으로 가셨다는 것을 알려주었습니다(눅6:12). 예수님은 정말 효과적인 기도 생활을 하셨고 언제나 놀라운 결과를 얻으셨습니다! 우리의 기도 방식도 그분과 같아야 합니다.

자주 방언으로 기도하는 시간을 보내십시오. 확실한 기도 스케줄을 정하고 그것을 지키도록 스스로를 훈련하십시오. 그러면 당신은 새로운 차원의 영적 성숙과 효율성 가운데 사는 자신을 발견하게 될 것입니다. 당신은 엄청난 발전을 하며 모든 일에서 큰 성공을 경험할 것입니다.

유다서 1:20(확대번역본)을 기억하십시오. 그러나 사랑하는 자들아, 너희는 성령 안에서 기도하여 오직 너희의 가장 거룩한 믿음에서만[진보하고, 건물처럼 점점 높아지며] 자신을 건설하라[세우라].” 성령님의 능력과 영감 안에서 기도한다면 당신은 놀라운 발전을 이루고 당신은 건축물처럼 점점 더 높이 세워질 것입니다.

RESULT ORIENTED PRAYER

“While Jesus was here on earth, he offered prayers and pleadings, with a loud cry and tears, to the one who could deliver him out of death. And God heard his prayers because of his reverence for God”(Hebrews 5:7 NLT).

The Lord Jesus is the perfect example of one who prayed result-oriented prayers. His prayers produced the right results always. He didn’t pray merely out of routine or as a religious obligation. His disciples noticed this about Him; they were intrigued by how effectual his prayers were; hence, they said to Him, “Master, teach us to pray” (Luke 11:1).

The astounding results that Jesus had while He walked the earth can’t be divorced from His ever-amazing prayer life. In Mark 1:35, the Bible tells us, “And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.” In another instance, the Bible says, “…he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed” (Luke 5:16).

Luke also showed us that sometimes, Jesus went into the high hills to spend the entire night in prayer to God (Luke 6:12). He had such an effective prayer life and ever-amazing results! That’s the way it should be for us.

Spend time to pray in tongues often. Have a robust prayer schedule and discipline yourself to stick with it, and you’ll find yourself operating at a new level of spiritual maturity and efficiency. You’ll make tremendous progress and experience great success in all your affairs.

Recall what Jude 1:20 AMPC says, “But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit.” Praying in the power and inspiration of the Holy Spirit will help you make remarkable progress, and cause you to rise like an edifice, higher and higher.

The more you pray in tongues, the more sensitive you are to the Spirit, to receive and follow His guidance. And with His guidance, you operate in dominion and triumph always. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I’m victorious in all circumstances, walking in the blessings of the Lord because I live in the authority of the Word and in the Name of Jesus! I proclaim the favour of God and dominion of righteousness over all men, nations and their leaders, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

“내가 오늘 하늘과 땅을 불러 너희에게 증거를 삼노라 내가 생명과 사망과 복과 저주를 네 앞에 두었은즉 너와 네 자손이 살기 위하여 생명을 택하고”(신30:19)

성경을 공부하다 보면 하나님께서 인간에게 선택할 수 있는 능력을 주셨다는 것을 발견하게 됩니다. 하나님은 몇 가지 선택권을 주시고는 어느 것이 당신에게 옳은 지 보여주실 수 있지만, 결코 당신의 선택을 강요하지 않으십니다. 오늘의 본문 구절에서 하나님은 이스라엘에게 무엇을 선택해야 할지 알려주셨습니다. 죽음보다 생명을, 저주가 아닌 축복을 선택하라고 말씀하셨습니다. 그러나 그들을 강제하지 않으셨습니다.

이것은 지도자들에게 중요한 교훈입니다. 오직 폭군만이 순종을 강요합니다. 예수님은 마태복음 20:25 (확대번역본)에서 말씀하셨습니다, “…이방인의 집권자들이 그들을 임의로 주관하고 그 고관들이 그들에게 권세를 부리는 줄을 [그들을 압제하는 줄] 너희가 알거니와.” 주님은 압제하지 않으십니다.

예수님과 그분의 사랑의 말씀을 생각해 보십시오. 예수님은 모든 사람을 위해 자신의 생명을 주셨습니다. 오랜 세월 동안 많은 통치자와 종교 지도자들은 위협, 두려움, 공포를 통해 사람들에게 자신들이 믿는 바를 받아들이도록 강요했습니다. 그러나 주 예수님은 우리 대신 자신의 생명을 내어 주셨고, 여전히 우리를 사랑하는 마음을 가지고 그분을 받아들이거나 거부할 수 있는 선택권이 있음을 알려주십니다. 이 사실을 묵상해보십시오!

예수님은 우리의 선택을 강요하지 않으시지만, 우리가 잘못된 선택의 결과를 이해할 수 있도록 도우십니다. 그러므로 당신이 반드시 해야 할 일은 그분의 말씀과 성령으로 사는 것입니다.

HE NEVER COMPELS YOU

“I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live”(Deuteronomy 30:19).

As you study the Scriptures, you’ll discover that God gave man the power to choose. He may give several options and show you which one is right for you, but He never forces you to make a choice. In our theme scripture, He told Israel what to choose: life over death; blessings and not curses; but He didn’t force them.

This is an important lesson for leaders. Only tyrants compel or force obedience. In Matthew 20:25 AMPC, Jesus said, “…You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great men hold them in subjection [tyrannizing over them].” The Lord isn’t that way.

Think about Jesus and His message of love: He gave His own life for all. Through the ages, many rulers and religious leaders forced people to accept their beliefs through intimidation, fear and terror. But the Lord Jesus gave His own life in our place and still lovingly lets us know we have a choice to accept or reject Him. Think about that!

However, even though He doesn’t force us into the choices we make, He lets us understand the consequences of making the wrong choices. What you must do, therefore, is to live according to His Word and by His Spirit.

To the one who’s yet to be born again, I encourage you to do so NOW. Don’t live another day without making Jesus Christ the Lord of your life! You have the power to choose, so make this right choice NOW! The Bible says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Romans 10:9). It’s so simple, yet so powerful.

To be born again is to have the very nature of God in your spirit; it’s to have the active life of Christ in every fibre of your being—in your spirit, soul and body. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Dear Father, by the Holy Spirit and through the guidance from your holy Word, I make wise and accurate choices in line with your perfect will and destiny for my life! Your Word is my all-time guide, and Christ has been made unto me wisdom; therefore, I make only godly and Spirit-inspired decisions, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

우리는 항상 승리합니다

WE ALWAYS WIN

“항상 우리를 그리스도 안에서 이기게 하시고 우리로 말미암아 각처에서 그리스도를 아는 냄새를 나타내시는 하나님께 감사하노라”(고후2:14)

세상에서 교회가 가장 많은 박해를 받는 데에는 이유가 있습니다. 사탄이 우리를 두려워하기 때문입니다. 그래서 사탄은 사람들의 마음에 두려움을 주기 위해 많은 노력을 합니다. 하지만 사탄은 실패 그 자체입니다. 우리 시대에 예수 그리스도의 교회 안에서, 교회와 함께, 그리고 교회를 통해 일어나는 위대한 일들은 더 높은 수준으로 올라가고 있습니다.

예수님은 마태복음 16:18(한글킹제임스)에서 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “또 내가 네게 이르노니, 너는 베드로라. 이 반석 위에 내가 내 교회를 세우리니 지옥의 문들이 그것을 이기지 못하리라.” 여기서 “문”이라는 단어는 “권세와 통치”를 상징하는 예언적 언어입니다. 지옥의 권세는 교회를 이기지 못하며 절대 이길 수 없습니다.

교회는 그 시작부터 많은 끔찍한 박해를 견디고 살아남았으며, 교회를 대적하는 적들과 비방하는 자들보다 언제나 더 오래갑니다. 이는 하나님의 말씀에 분명히 기록되어 있기 때문입니다. “누가 우리를 그리스도의 사랑에서 끊으리요 환난이나 곤고나 박해나 기근이나 적신이나 위험이나 칼이랴 기록된 바 우리가 종일 주를 위하여 죽임을 당하게 되며 도살 당할 양 같이 여김을 받았나이다 함과 같으니라 그러나 이 모든 일에 우리를 사랑하시는 이로 말미암아 우리가 넉넉히 이기느니라”(롬8:35-37)

교회는 항상 승리할 것입니다. 교회는 모든 반대를 부수고 교회를 반대하는 모든 사람 위에 설 것입니다. 이것이 교회 위에 있는 축복입니다. 성령님은 교회의 머리이시며 하나님이십니다. 성령님은 그분의 일을 하고 계시고, 우리는 그분의 동역자입니다. 우리가 실패하는 것은 불가능합니다.

우리는 시작하기도 전에 이미 이겼습니다. 우리는 이미 쓰여진 각본을 따라가고 있을 뿐입니다. 확대번역본 성경은 오늘의 본문 구절을 이렇게 번역합니다. “항상 우리를 [그리스도의 승리의 트로피들로서] 그리스도 안에서 승리하게 하시고…” 이것이 현재 일어나고 있는 일입니다. 우리는 성령님의 승전 행진에 참여하고 있습니다. 당신이 해야 할 일은 사역의 일에 집중하고, 기쁨으로 그 사역을 수행하는 것입니다. 할렐루야!

고백

WE ALWAYS WIN

“Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place”(2 Corinthians 2:14).

There’s a reason for the Church being the most persecuted of the demographics in the world: Satan is terrified of us, therefore, he’s making so much effort to cause fear in the hearts of many. But he’s a failure. The mighty things that are happening in, with and through the Church of Jesus Christ in our day are even about to be taken to a higher level.

In Matthew 16:18, Jesus said, “…I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” The word, “Gates” is symbolic in prophetic language for “power and dominion.” The powers and dominion of hell shall not, and can never, prevail against the Church.

The Church, right from inception, has survived and endured many terrible persecutions, and will always outlive her enemies and detractors. That’s because the Word of God is clear: “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us” (Romans 8:35-37).

The Church will always have the victory; it’ll crush every opposition and conquer everyone who ever stands against it. That’s the blessing upon the Church. The Holy Spirit is the Boss of the Church, and He’s God. He’s doing His work, and we’re labourers together with Him. It’s impossible for us to fail.

We won before we started; we’re just acting out the script that’s already been written. The Amplified version of our theme verse says, “But thanks be to God, Who in Christ always leads us in triumph [as trophies of Christ’s victory….” That’s what’s happening. We’re in a Holy Ghost victory parade. What you need is to stay focused on the work of the ministry, carrying it out with joy. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

Being born again, I belong to the Church, the body of Christ. Therefore, I’m indestructible; no matter what happens, I always win, because the Word puts me over and guarantees my victory. Greater is He that’s in me than he that’s in the world. I reign and rule with Christ, now and always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

“그가 또 이르되 우리 조상들의 하나님이 너를 택하여 너로 하여금 자기 뜻을 알게 하시며 그 의인을 보게 하시고 그 입에서 나오는 음성을 듣게 하셨으니”(행22:14)

오늘의 본문 구절은 다소의 사울, 훗날의 바울에게 나타난 말씀이었습니다. 주님께서 다마스커스에 있던 제자 아나니아를 보내셔서 바울에게 손을 얻을 뿐 아니라 바울이 하나님의 뜻을 이루도록 택함 받았음을 알리도록 하셨습니다. 엄청난 말씀입니다!

모든 사람이 하나님의 뜻을 아는 것은 아니지만, 하나님의 뜻을 아는 것은 인생에서 가장 중요한 일입니다. 하나님을 기쁘시게 하기 위해서는 먼저 그분의 뜻을 알아야 합니다. 하나님의 뜻을 알아야만 그 뜻을 이루며 그 뜻대로 살 수 있습니다. 그래서 하나님의 자녀로서 당신이 해야 할 첫 번째 일이자 가장 중요한 일은 하나님의 계획이 무엇인지 발견하는 것입니다. 지금 그분은 당신에게 어떤 말씀을 하고 계시며, 어떤 일을 하기 바라십니까?

당신은 이런 질문을 할 수도 있습니다. “하나님의 뜻을 아는 것이 정말 가능합니까?” 과연 사람이 하나님의 뜻을 알 수 있겠습니까? 당연히 가능합니다! 에베소서 1:9을 읽어 보십시오. “그 뜻의 비밀을 우리에게 알리신 것이요 그의 기뻐하심을 따라 그리스도 안에서 때가 찬 경륜을 위하여 예정하신 것이니.” 예수님은 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. “…천국의 비밀을 아는 것이 너희에게는 허락되었으나 그들에게는 아니되었나니”(마13:11) 아버지의 뜻을 알 수 있는 것은 당신의 유업입니다.

주님께서는 골로새서 1:9을 통해 당신을 향한 열망을 나타내셨습니다. “…모든 신령한 지혜와 총명에 하나님의 뜻을 아는 것으로 채우게 하시고.” 당신은 그분의 말씀을 공부함으로 그분의 뜻을 알 수 있습니다. 하나님의 말씀은 그분의 뜻에 대한 계시입니다.

당신이 말씀 곧 아버지의 마음을 공부할 때, 그분의 생각, 계획, 목적이 당신에게 드러납니다. 그분의 진리가 드러나며 그분의 빛이 당신의 마음에 밝아질 것입니다. 그렇게 할 때, 당신은 하나님의 사고방식을 이해하고 그분과 똑같이 생각할 것입니다.

기도

사랑하는 아버지, 당신의 말씀을 통해 제 영에 깨달음을 주셔서 감사합니다. 말씀을 묵상하고 성령과 교제할 때, 내 영이 밝혀지고 신비와 비밀에 대한 통찰력을 갖게 됩니다. 나는 당신의 지혜로 인도받고 주님의 영광을 위하여 그리스도 안에서 나의 영광스러운 부르심을 이룹니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

IT’S YOUR HERITAGE TO KNOW HIS WILL

“And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth”(Acts 22:14).

Our opening verse was a message addressed to Saul of Tarsus, who was later known as Paul. The Lord had sent Ananias, a disciple at Damascus, to lay hands on him and also to tell him that he’d been chosen to know the will of God! What a message!

Not everyone knows the will of God, yet it’s the most important thing in life. To please Him, you first have to know His will. Only when you know His will can you begin to fulfil it and live accordingly. That’s why, as a child of God, the first and most important thing you have to do is to discover what God’s plan is: What’s He saying to you now, and what does He want you to do?

You may ask, “Is it really possible to know the will of God?” Can one actually know His will? Absolutely! Read Ephesians 1:9; it says, “Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself” (Ephesians 1:9). Jesus said, “…it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 13:11). It’s your heritage to know the will of the Father.

In Colossians 1:9, the Lord also expressed His desire for you to “…be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.” You know His will from studying His Word. God’s Word is the revelation of His will.

As you study the Word, the Father’s heart—His thoughts, plans and purposes are unveiled to you. His light will dawn in your heart as truth unveils. Then you understand God’s way of thinking and are synchronized with Him.

PRAYER

Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for the enlightenment that has come to my spirit through your Word. As I meditate on the Word, and fellowship with the Spirit, my spirit is enlightened and I have insight into mysteries and secrets. I’m guided by your wisdom to fulfil my glorious call in Christ, for your glory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

생명의 근원

THE SOURCE OF LIFE

“이 생명이 나타내신 바 된지라 이 영원한 생명을 우리가 보았고 증언하여 너희에게 전하노니 이는 아버지와 함께 계시다가 우리에게 나타내신 바 된 이시니라”(요일1:2)

우리 주변에는 사람, 식물, 동물, 심지어 아주 작은 유기체 등 많은 생명체들이 존재합니다. 하지만 이들에게 진정 생명을 주는 것은 무엇입니까? 생명의 본질은 무엇입니까? 인간이 인간의 몸을 만들고, 식물을 만들 수 있을지 모르지만, 그 누구도 생명을 창조한 적은 없습니다. 그들이 할 수 있는 최선은 생명체로부터 생명을 가져와 다른 생명체에 주입하는 것이었습니다. 인간은 생명의 근원을 알 수 없기 때문에 사람은 생명을 창조할 수 없습니다.

오늘의 본문 구절의 첫 부분은 말합니다. “이 생명이 나타내신 바 된지라…” 대단한 문장입니다! 이 말씀은 예수 그리스도를 가리킵니다. 예수님은 생명의 화신이십니다. 예수님이 생명의 진정한 본질이십니다. 생명이 인간의 몸에 담겼고, 예수 그리스도의 모습으로 우리에게 나타났습니다.

예수님은 아버지와 함께 계시다가 우리에게 나타내신 그 생명이십니다 (요일 1:2). 모든 것이 그분에게서 생명을 얻습니다. 예수님은 이 땅에 계실 때 하나님으로부터 생명을 받을 필요가 없었습니다. 예수님 자신이 생명이셨습니다! 예수님은 요한복음 5:26에서 말씀하셨습니다. “아버지께서 자기 속에 생명이 있음 같이 아들에게도 생명을 주어 그 속에 있게 하셨고.” 이것이 바로 예수님이 모든 사람과 모든 것에 생명을 주실 수 있었던 이유입니다.

요한일서 5:11-12은 말합니다. “또 증거는 이것이니 하나님이 우리에게 영생을 주신 것과 이 생명이 그의 아들 안에 있는 그것이니라 아들이 있는 자에게는 생명이 있고 하나님의 아들이 없는 자에게는 생명이 없느니라.” 하나님을 송축합니다! 예수님께서 주시는 생명은 인간의 육신에 있는 어둠의 행위를 파괴하고 물리칩니다.

언제나 당신의 신성을 의식하고 승리 가운데 걸으십시오. 그리스도 곧 우리의 생명이 지금 당신 안에 거하고 계시기 때문입니다. 그리고 예수님과 같이 우리도 이 세상에서 그러하기 때문입니다. 아멘.

나는 거듭남으로 내 안에 하나님의 생명과 본성을 가지고 있습니다. 하나님의 생명은 내가 패배할 수 없게 하고 언제나 승리, 영광, 통치, 탁월함 가운데 걷게 합니다. 나의 몸은 하나님의 생명으로 가득 차 있습니다. 나는 신성한 건강과 승리 안에서 행하며 사람들을 무너뜨리는 질병, 전염병, 파괴를 초월하며 살아갑니다. 할렐루야!

“For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us”(1 John 1:2).

All around us are living things: people, plants, animals and even microscopic organisms. But what gives them life? What’s the substance of life? Men may have been able to form the human body and to create plants, but no one has ever created life. The best they’ve done is to take life from a living thing and put it into another, as the very source of life is unknown to man; he can’t create it.

The opening verse above says, “For the life was manifested….” What a construction! This is referring to Jesus Christ; He’s the embodiment of life. He’s the real essence. Life in its entirety was encapsulated in a human body and manifested to us in the Person of Jesus Christ.

He is that life which was with the Father, and manifested to us (1 John 1:2). Everything gets life from Him. When He walked the earth, He didn’t need life from God; He was life! In John 5:26, He said, “For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself.” This explains why He’s able to give life to anyone and to everything.

1 John 5:11-12 says, “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” Blessed be God! The life that Jesus gives destroys and repels the works of darkness in the human body.

Always be more conscious of your divinity and walk in victory, for Christ our life is now in you, and as He is so are we in this world. Amen.

CONFESSION

I have the very life and nature of God in me, because I’m born again. This God-life makes me impregnable, causing me to walk in victory, glory, dominion and excellence always. My body is inundated with the life of God, and I walk in divine health and victory, living above sickness, disease, infections and the destruction that decimates the ordinary man. Hallelujah!
