견고한 토대
The Sure Foundation
“그러므로 주 하나님이 이같이 말하노라. 보라, 내가 한 돌을 시온에 두어 기초로 삼으리니 곧 단련한 돌이요, 보배로운 모퉁잇돌이며 견고한 기초로다. 믿는 자는 다급하지 아니하리로다.”(사 28:16 한글킹제임스)
당신의 인생을 어떤 토대에 두고 있는지는 중요합니다. 성경은 말합니다. “이 닦아 둔 것 외에 능히 다른 터를 닦아 둘 자가 없으니 이 터는 곧 예수 그리스도라”(고전 3:11). 그리스도만이 견고한 토대입니다. 그분이 당신의 성공의 토대가 되어야 합니다. 그렇게 하면 인생의 역경에 직면할 때에도 당신은 굳게 서있게 될 것입니다. 당신은 반석이신 그리스도 예수 위에 기초를 두고 있기 때문입니다!
오늘의 본문 구절에서 이사야 선지자는 주 하나님께서 시온에 두실 “돌”에 대해 예언했고, 저는 여러분이 이 “돌”이 묘사된 방식을 유심히 보길 바랍니다. 먼저, 이사야는 이를 “단련한 돌” 이라고 불렀습니다. 그리고는 “보배로운 모퉁잇돌”이라고 불렀습니다. 세번째로 그는 이를 “견고한 기초”라고 말합니다.
“단련한 돌”이란 곧 시험과 검증을 거쳤음을 의미합니다. “보배로운 모퉁이돌”은 건물의 안정성을 위한 가장 중요한 돌이라는 의미입니다. “견고한 기초”는 당신이 인생을 걸어도 될 만큼 확실하다는 뜻입니다. 주 예수님이 바로 이런 분이십니다. 그분은 당신이 당신의 삶을 지을 수 있는 유일한 견고한 기초입니다.
누가복음 6:47-49에서 예수님께서 이렇게 말씀하신 것도 당연합니다. “내게 나아와 내 말을 듣고 행하는 자마다 누구와 같은 것을 너희에게 보이리라 집을 짓되 깊이 파고 주추를 반석 위에 놓은 사람과 같으니 큰 물이 나서 탁류가 그 집에 부딪치되 잘 지었기 때문에 능히 요동하지 못하게 하였거니와 듣고 행하지 아니하는 자는 주추 없이 흙 위에 집 지은 사람과 같으니 탁류가 부딪치매 집이 곧 무너져 파괴됨이 심하니라 하시니라.”
기억하십시오. 이러한 차이를 만드는 것은 토대입니다. 예수님께서 말씀해주신 비유에서 두 집은 같은 홍수에 직면했지만, 파괴된 것은 토대가 없는 집이었습니다. 견고한 반석이신 그리스도께 당신의 인생의 닻을 내리십시오!
하나님의 말씀을 행하는 자가 되십시오. 그것이 당신의 삶을 반석 위에 세우는 방법입니다. 다른 모두가 실패할 때, 말씀이 당신을 계속 서 있게 해 줄 것입니다. 삶을 말씀 위에 세울 때, 당신은 평생 성공과 번영을 유지할 것입니다.

사랑하는 아버지, 당신의 말씀에 감사합니다. 당신의 말씀은 확실하고 견고한 나의 기초입니다. 나는 그 위에서 안전하며, 흔들리지 않고, 힘을 얻고, 뿌리를 내리며, 굳게 서 있습니다. 당신의 말씀은 나를 지탱하는 반석입니다. 말씀은 의지할 만하며 기댈 수 있는 진리이기 때문입니다. 주님, 말씀 안에서 말씀을 통한 나의 승리의 삶에 감사합니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

The Sure Foundation
“Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste”(Isaiah 28:16).
It matters the foundation upon which your life is built. The Bible says, “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 3:11). Christ is the only sure foundation. He must be the foundation of your success. That way, when you face the adversities of life, you’ll remain standing, because you’re founded upon the Rock, Christ Jesus!
The Prophet Isaiah, in our opening verse, spoke prophetically about the “stone” which the Lord God would lay in Zion, and I want you to observe the way this “stone” is described. First, he refers to it as “a tried stone.” Then he calls it, “a precious cornerstone.” Thirdly, he refers to it as “a sure foundation.”
Being a “tried stone” means it’s been tested and proven. As “a precious corner stone,” it means it’s the most important stone for the stability of the building. As a “sure foundation,” it means you can stake your life on it. That’s who the Lord Jesus is; He’s the only true foundation upon which you should build your life.
No wonder He said in Luke 6:47-49: “Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.”
Remember, the foundation is what makes the difference. Both houses in the illustration given by Jesus above were confronted by the same flood, but the one without foundations came to ruin. Let Christ, the Solid Rock, be the anchor of your life!
Be a doer of God’s Word, for that’s how to build your life on the rock. That’s what will keep you standing when all else fails. That’s what will keep you in success and prosperity all your life.
CONFESSION
Dear Father, thank you for your Word, which is my sure and firm foundation; upon it, I rest secure and immovable, strengthened, rooted and grounded. Your Word is the rock that holds me, for it’s dependable, reliable, and true. Thank you, Lord, for my triumphant life in, and through the Word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
