Your Impregnable Nature
“무릇 하나님께로부터 난 자마다 세상을 이기느니라 세상을 이기는 승리는 이것이니 우리의 믿음이니라”(요일5:4)
오늘의 본문 구절과 비슷한 요한일서 4:4은 말합니다. “자녀들아 너희는 하나님께 속하였고 또 그들을 이기었나니 이는 너희 안에 계신 이가 세상에 있는 자보다 크심이라” 또한 우리는 베드로의 두번째 서신서를 통해 고무적이며 마음을 사로잡는 내용을 읽습니다. “이로써 그 보배롭고 지극히 큰 약속을 우리에게 주사 이 약속으로 말미암아 너희가 정욕 때문에 세상에서 썩어질 것을 피하여 신성한 성품에 참여하는 자가 되게 하려 하셨느니라”(벧후1:4)
바울은 어떻습니까? 그는 로마서 8:35-39에서 성령으로 말미암아 우리를 위해 다음과 같이 썼습니다. “누가 우리를 그리스도의 사랑에서 끊으리요 환난이나 곤고나 박해나 기근이나 적신이나 위험이나 칼이랴… 그러나 이 모든 일에 우리를 사랑하시는 이로 말미암아 우리가 넉넉히 이기느니라 내가 확신하노니 사망이나 생명이나 천사들이나 권세자들이나 현재 일이나 장래 일이나 능력이나 높음이나 깊음이나 다른 어떤 피조물이라도 우리를 우리 주 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 하나님의 사랑에서 끊을 수 없으리라”(롬8:35-39)
사도들은 이러한 진리를 말하며 우리가 그리스도 안에서 가지고 있는 생명을 확증했습니다. 그 생명은 사탄과 이 세상과 세상의 시스템을 다스리는 생명입니다. 그리스도인은 패배할 수 없습니다. 당신은 그리스도 예수 안에서 승리자입니다. 당신은 그리스도 안에서 삶을 다스리고 통치합니다. 당신은 실패할 수 없습니다. 할렐루야!
또한 주 예수님은 당신의 무적의 본성에 대해서 말씀하셨습니다. “내가 너희에게 뱀과 전갈을 밟으며 원수의 모든 능력을 제어할 권능을 주었으니 너희를 해칠 자가 결코 없으리라”(눅10:19) 그분은 마가복음 16:18에서 당신이 뱀을 집어 올리고 무슨 독을 마실지라도 해를 받지 않는다고 말씀하셨습니다. 당신이 병든 사람에게 손을 얹으면 그는 낫게 될 것입니다. 얼마나 대단한 생명입니까!
당신은 세상을 이겼습니다. 원수로부터 고통스러운 상황이 생길 수도 있지만 동요하지 마십시오. 그리스도 안에서 당신은 이미 승리했습니다. “항상 우리를 그리스도 안에서 이기게 하시고… 하나님께 감사하노라”(고후2:14) 이러한 의식 가운데 스스로를 훈련하십시오.
기도
하나님을 송축합니다! 나는 패배할 수 없는 그리스도 예수 안에서의 승리자입니다. 나는 그리스도를 통해 삶을 다스리고 통치합니다. 나는 세상과 세상의 속임수, 실패, 증오, 부패, 타락, 한계를 이겼습니다. 그리스도는 내 삶에서 통치하고 다스리십니다. 바로 그것이 계속해서 증가하는 위대함, 영광, 은혜의 삶에 대한 나의 확신입니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

Your Impregnable Nature
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith (1 John 5:4).
A similar verse to our opening scripture is 1 John 4:4; it says, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” We also read something just as inspiring and enthralling from Peter in his second epistle: “Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” (2 Peter 1:4).
How about Paul? Read what he pens for us by the Spirit in Romans 8:35-39: “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword…Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
The apostles in stating these truths, were affirming the life we have in Christ; a life of dominion over Satan, the world, and its systems. The Christian is unconquerable. You’re a victor in Christ Jesus; you rule and reign in life through Him. You could never fail. Hallelujah!
The Lord Jesus also spoke about your impregnable nature. He said, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19). In Mark 16:18, He said you shall take up serpents; and if you drink any deadly thing, it’ll have no effect on you. When you lay hands of the sick, they shall recover. What a life!
You have overcome the world. Distressing situations may come from the enemy, but be unflustered; in Christ you’ve already been made triumphant: “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ…” (2 Corinthians 2:14). Train yourself in this consciousness.
PRAYER
Blessed be God! I’m unconquerable, a victor in Christ Jesus; I rule and reign in life through Christ. I’ve overcome the world and its deception, failure, hatred, corruption, decadence and limitation. Christ reigns and rules in my life; that’s my assurance of a life of ever-increasing greatness, glory and grace, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
