악을 제지하는 자
The Restrainer Of Evil
“불법의 비밀이 이미 활동하였으나 지금은 그것을 막는 자가 있어 그 중에서 옮겨질 때까지 하리라”(살후2:7)
성경은 세 종류의 악을 억제하는 자들에 대해 말합니다. 첫번째 제지자는 정부입니다. 로마서 13:1-4은 하나님으로부터 임명 받은 권세들과 그들이 악을 막도록 세워졌다고 말합니다. 두번째 제지자는 성령님이십니다. 예수님은 말씀하셨습니다. “그분(성령)께서 오셔서 죄에 대하여, 의에 대하여, 심판에 대하여 세상을 꾸짖으시리라” (요16:8 한글킹제임스).
세번째 제지자는 교회입니다. 예수님께서는 우리가 세상의 빛이라 말씀하셨습니다(마 5:14). 빛이 나타나면 어둠은 도망갑니다. 이 셋 중 교회는 성령의 권능으로 악을 제지합니다. 성경은 악의 제지자가 “옮겨질 것”이라고 말합니다. 그렇다면 이 악의 제지자는 확실히 정부를 가리키는 것은 아닙니다. 적그리스도가 통치하는 동안에도 정부들이 있을 것이기 때문입니다. 사실 적그리스도는 와서 정부를 세울 것입니다.
또한 성령님은 적그리스도가 드러난 이후에도 이 땅을 떠나지 않으실 것입니다. 그분은 휴거 후에 144,000명의 유대인들이 이 땅에서 사역을 수행하게 하실 것이기 때문입니다. 성경은 대환란 중에 많은 무리의 사람들이 주님에게 심령을 드렸다고 말합니다. 그리고 이 사람들이 구원받을 수 있었던 유일한 방법은 성령의 사역을 통해서 입니다.
그러므로 악의 제지자들 중 교회만이 적그리스도가 나타나기 전에 옮겨질 것입니다. 하나님께서는 교회가 오늘날 악을 제지하길 바라십니다. 우리는 세상의 빛과 소금입니다(마5:13,14). 우리가 어떤 일을 명하면 그 일은 나타납니다. 사탄은 열방 위에 군림할 수 없습니다. 사탄은 그가 원하는 대로 이 세상의 나라들과 사람들의 삶을 그의 악함으로 끌어들일 수 없습니다. 우리가 사탄을 계속하여 압박하고 있기 때문입니다. 우리는 지속적으로 사탄을 제지하고, 휴거가 있기 전까지 예수 그리스도를 통하여 이 땅에서 영광스럽게 다스릴 것입니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!
기도
주님, 당신의 교회에 부어 주시는 은혜에 감사합니다. 우리는 의를 통해 은혜로 통치하며 주님의 빛과 진리로 나라들과 사람들의 마음을 밝힙니다. 우리는 어둠의 세력이 열방을 지배하지 못하도록 제지합니다. 당신의 의, 평안, 자비, 그리고 진리가 우리의 거리, 학교, 도시, 나라에서 세력을 얻습니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘!

The Restrainer Of Evil
“For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way”(2 Thessalonians 2:7 ESV).
There’re three restrainers of evil the Bible talks about; one is the Government. Romans 13:1-4 tells us that the powers that be are ordained of God and that they’re established to restrain evil. The second restrainer of evil is the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, “And when He (the Holy Spirit) has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment” (John 16:8 NKJV).
The third restrainer of evil is the Church. Jesus said we’re the light of the world (Matthew 5:14), and when light shines, darkness recedes. Among these three restrainers of evil, the Church is the one who retrains evil by the power of the Holy Spirit. The scripture states that the restrainer will be “taken out of the way”. That certainly wouldn’t be referring to Government, because there’ll be governments during the reign of the Antichrist. In fact, when the Antichrist comes, he’ll establish a government.
Also, the Holy Spirit won’t be removed from the earth after the Antichrist is revealed, because He’s going to cause 144,000 Jewish men to carry out ministry in the earth after the Rapture. The Bible tells us a large multitude of people gave their hearts to the Lord during the Great Tribulation, and the only way those people could have been saved is through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
So, out of the three restrainers of evil, only the Church will be taken away before the Antichrist is manifested. The church is expected by God to restrain evil today. We’re the light of the world and the salt of the earth (Matthew 5:13 & 14). When we decree a thing, it’s established unto us. Satan can’t lord it over the nations; he can’t perpetuate his wickedness in the nations of the world and in the lives of men as he desires to because we’re putting him in check. We’ll continue to restrain him and reign gloriously in the earth by Jesus Christ until the Rapture takes place. Glory to God!
PRAYER
Thank you, Lord, for your grace upon your Church as we reign by grace through righteousness, illuminating the nations and hearts of men with your light and truth. We restrain the forces of darkness from lording it over the nations; your righteousness, peace, mercy and truth prevail in our streets, in our schools, cities and nations, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
