영생은 노쇠하지 않는 삶을 가져왔습니다
ETERNAL LIFE BROUGHT US AGELESSNESS
“너희 조상 아브라함은 나의 때 볼 것을 즐거워하다가 보고 기뻐하였느니라 유대인들이 이르되 네가 아직 오십 세도 못되었는데 아브라함을 보았느냐 예수께서 이르시되 진실로 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 아브라함이 나기 전부터 내가 있느니라 하시니”(요8:56-58)
우리 주 예수님께서는 “아브라함이 나기 전부터 내가 있느니라”는 이 한 문장으로 그분이 노쇠하지 않으심을 선포하셨습니다. 노쇠하지 않는 삶은 늙지 않고 계속해서 성장하는 생명을 의미합니다. 이는 끝없는, 썩지 않는, 멸망할 수 없는 생명입니다. 당신이 거듭났을 때, 당신은 예수님과 똑같은 영생을 받았고, 노쇠하지 않는 삶으로 옮겨졌습니다.
요한은 영생에 대해 이렇게 선언했습니다. “태초부터 있는 생명의 말씀에 관하여는 우리가 들은 바요 눈으로 본 바요 자세히 보고 우리의 손으로 만진 바라 이 생명이 나타내신 바 된지라 이 영원한 생명을 우리가 보았고 증언하여 너희에게 전하노니 이는 아버지와 함께 계시다가 우리에게 나타내신 바 된 이시니라” (요일1:1-2). 영생이 우리에게 나타난 목적은 우리가 동일한 생명을 누리고 살게 하려는 것이었습니다. 당신이 성경을 공부하며 이러한 진리를 볼수록 당신은 진짜 당신의 모습을 보며 자신의 삶이 어떤 모습이 되어야 할지 알 수 있습니다.
이제 당신은 거듭났으므로, 당신은 하나님의 영역 곧 영원에서 태어난 것입니다! 하나님의 말씀과 그리스도 안에서 사는 것은 영원 안에서 사는 것입니다. 이것이 당신이 가진 생명입니다. 당신은 그리스도 안에 있습니다. 그리스도가 당신의 새로운 환경입니다. 당신은 이 땅에 속하지 않았습니다. 그러므로 당신의 노쇠하지 않는 삶을 살기를 시작하십시오.
고백
나는 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 하나님의 의입니다. 나는 하나님의 생명을 가지고 있습니다. 내 영과 혼과 몸은 의의 능력과 효력, 그리고 복음을 통해 받은 하나님의 생명의 충만함으로 활기가 넘칩니다. 나는 그리스도 안에 있는 나의 신성한 유업의 실재 안에서 행합니다. 나는 내 삶에 있는 그분의 은혜와 놀라운 임재를 인식하며 삽니다. 예수 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

ETERNAL LIFE BROUGHT US AGELESSNESS
“Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am”(John 8:56-58).
With this singular statement—“Before Abraham was, I AM”—our Lord Jesus declared His agelessness. Agelessness refers to a life of endless development, where you grow without getting old. It’s an endless, incorruptible, and indestructible life. When you were born again, you received the same eternal life as Jesus and were brought into agelessness. Hallelujah!
Speaking about eternal life, John declared: “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father and was manifested unto us” (1 John 1:1-2). The purpose for which it was manifested was so that we might have and live the same life. As you study the Scriptures and see such truths, you see your true reflection and can tell what your life ought to be.
Now that you’re born again, you’ve been born into God’s realm, into eternity! To live in the Word of God, and in Christ, is to live in eternity. That’s the life you’ve got. You’re in Christ; that’s your new environment. You’re not of this world. So, start living your ageless life.
CONFESSION
I’m the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and I have the life of God in me. My spirit, soul and body are vitalized through and through by the power and effect of righteousness and the fullness of the God-life that I’ve received through the Gospel. I’m walking in the reality of my divine heritage in Christ, conscious of His grace and awesome presence in my life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
