우리는 더 강해집니다
We Only Get Stronger
“모세가 죽을 때 나이 백이십 세였으나 그의 눈이 흐리지 아니하였고 기력이 쇠하지 아니하였더라”(신 34:7)
혹시 “늙지 않는 상태”에 대해서 들어본 적이 있습니까? 이것은 그리스도 안에 있는 우리의 유업 중 하나입니다. 우리는 성장하지만 늙지는 않습니다! 할렐루야! 그러므로 절대 “저는 예전만큼 강하지 않아요. 나이가 제 편이 아닌 것 같네요.” 라고 말하지 마십시오. 그리스도인으로서 당신은 그런 말을 해서는 안 됩니다. 당신이 거듭날 때 영생이 당신의 영에 부어졌기 때문입니다. 영생은 늙지 않는 생명입니다.
그리스도 안에서 당신은 그분의 영광과 영화로운 삶 안으로 들어갔습니다. 따라서 스스로에게 자주 “나는 오직 더 강해질 뿐이다! 나는 10년 전보다 오늘 더 강하다!”라고 선포하십시오. 모세를 떠올려보십시오. 그는 120세에도 키가 줄어들지 않았고 눈이 침침해지지 않았습니다. 그러나 성경은 모세의 영광이 우리가 오늘날 그리스도 예수 안에서 가진 영광과는 비교될 수 없다고 말합니다(고린도후서 3:7-11).
갈렙도 마찬가지였습니다. 85세의 갈렙은 “저는 제가 마흔일 때보다 지금 더 강합니다. 그러므로 저에게 이 산을 주십시오!” 라고 말했습니다. (여호수아 14:7-12을 읽어보십시오.) 그것이 바로 우리에게 해당되는 이야기입니다! 우리의 젊음은 독수리의 젊음같이 새로워집니다(시 103:5). 우리에게는 오직 한 길 밖에 없습니다. 우리는 갈수록 더욱 강해지고 위대해집니다. 우리는 위로만 그리고 앞으로만 갑니다. 할렐루야!
절대 자신을 연약한 존재로 보지 마십시오. 성경은 “그러므로 우리가 낙심하지 아니하노니 우리의 겉사람은 낡아지나 우리의 속사람은 날로 새로워지도다”(고후 4:16) 라고 말합니다. 우리는 계속해서 강해지고, 성령으로 말미암아 안으로부터 활력을 얻습니다. 제가 여러분과 나누는 이 생각들을 진지하게 받아들이고 그리스도 안에서 초자연적인 삶을 사십시오. 하나님을 찬양합니다!
고백
주님은 내 삶의 힘이십니다. 주님은 말씀과 성령의 능력을 통해 끊임없이 나를 새롭게 하시고, 생기가 넘치게 하시고, 활기를 되찾게 하십니다! 내 속사람이 날마다 새로워지므로 나는 날마다 강해지며, 오늘 그 어느 때보다 강합니다. 나는 늙지 않는 영역 안에 살고 있습니다. 하나님께 영광 드립니다!

WE ONLY GET STRONGER
“And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated” (Deuteronomy 34:7).
Have you ever heard the word “agelessness”? It’s part of our heritage in Christ. We grow, but we don’t age! Hallelujah! So never say, “You know, I’m no longer as strong as I used to be; age isn’t on my side.” As a Christian, you shouldn’t talk like that because when you were born again, eternal life was imparted to your spirit. Eternal life is life with agelessness.
In Christ, you’ve been brought into His glory and the glorified life. So, every so often, declare to yourself, “I only get stronger! I’m stronger today than I was ten years ago!” Consider Moses: at one hundred and twenty years of age, his physical stature wasn’t abated, his eyes weren’t dim. Yet, the Bible says the glory that Moses had isn’t anything compared to what we have today in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 3:7-11).
It was the same with Caleb: At the age of eighty-five, Caleb said, “I’m as strong today as I was when I was forty; therefore, give me this mountain” (Read Joshua 14:7-12). That’s our story! Our youth is renewed like the eagle’s (Psalm 103:5). For us, there’s only one way: We get stronger and stronger, greater and greater, we move upward and forward. Hallelujah!
Never see yourself as weak. The Bible says, “For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day” (2 Corinthians 4:16). We’re continually strengthened, invigorated from within by the Holy Ghost. Take these thoughts that I share with you seriously and live the supernatural life in Christ. Praise God!
CONFESSION
The Lord is the strength of my life and He constantly renews, refreshes and rejuvenates me through the Word and the power of the Holy Spirit! I’m stronger by the day, stronger today than ever, because my inward man is renewed day by day; I live in the ageless zone. Glory to God!
